Pointless Audio
While the Elelink 2K Window Camera is super easy to install, its performance looking out over my driveway from the second floor leaves a lot to be desired. Because the camera is mounted so high up and sits entirely inside behind a pane of glass, the two-way audio is completely pointless as there is no way to actually talk to anyone down on the driveway or through the glass.
The AI color night vision also struggles significantly with the downward angle and distance, making it tough to clearly see license plates or faces in low light, especially when streetlamps or headlights catch the glass and cause reflections. It is a convenient, no-drill option for daytime monitoring, but for reliable nighttime security from this height, a dedicated outdoor camera is a much better choice.
I bought this camera arrived same day set up in as little as five minutes with downloading the app added the cloud services and a micro sd card as a back up feature for my current situation
The seller was very helpful when I msgd to ask about the indoor cctv helped me with my queries
Does a great job
Squirrels raiding the bird feeder are now my favourite show, all thanks to a little camera stuck to the inside of my back window. No drilling, no ladder and nothing bolted to the house, which makes it great for renters too. It has no battery, so it plugs into the wall with a USB C cord, and the one in the box is long enough to reach a faraway outlet. The view is wide enough to cover most of the yard, and the special glass trick keeps the window glare from washing everything out. At night it even shows colour instead of the usual spooky grey.
Getting it onto my Wi-Fi took a couple of tries, but since then it has stayed connected and loads quickly on the faster 5 GHz band. Alerts only pop up for people or real movement, not every leaf that blows past. Clips save to a memory card around the clock, so there’s no monthly fee, and I can share the live view with family or talk through it. The picture is clear enough for everyday watching, though zooming in shows it isn’t as crisp as the box suggests. Room lights can bounce off the glass at night, so finding the right spot takes a bit of shuffling.
I ordered this 2K window camera to keep an eye on our outdoor spaces, and it was very easy to set up and get running with the app. I’ve had no issues with connection and I have fibre Internet.
It works great for monitoring the garden sheds, especially if you have bikes or tools stored away that you want to keep secure. The night vision works well enough to see what’s going on, though it comes across a little grainy—it is a lower resolution compared to my video doorbell, but it still gets the job done.
One top tip: make sure you install it in a spot where you can easily reach to clean the outside window! A spider decided to spin a web right outside where the lens points, so I end up seeing that giant web every single time I check the app feed.
Overall, for a quick indoor camera that looks through glass without terrible reflection, it is a very handy piece of tech. I’d recommend ordering one if you need an easy way to watch your yard or outbuildings without drilling hole outside.
Great Window Camera for Monitoring the Driveway
I really like this camera and installed it on a second floor window facing my driveway. It gives me a clear view of the area outside without needing to mount a camera outdoors or drill into the exterior of the house.
The picture quality is good for monitoring the driveway, and the wide angle view covers a useful amount of space. I also like that it is designed specifically for shooting through glass, since reflections can be a problem with regular indoor cameras pointed out a window.
The dual band WiFi support is another useful feature, and the app makes it easy to check the live view from my phone. Motion alerts are helpful for keeping an eye on activity around the driveway, and the option for local recording with a microSD card is a nice bonus.
Overall, this has been a very practical security camera for my setup. Mounting it inside on the second floor window keeps it protected from the weather while still giving me a great view of the driveway, and it works very well as an everyday monitor.
Great for watching the backyard from indoors
This camera has been great for keeping an eye on the backyard without stepping outside. It mounts right on the window and the picture comes through sharp at 2K, even through the glass, which a lot of cameras struggle with because of glare. The anti glare and anti reflection coating really does its job here.
The AI colour night vision is a nice upgrade over the usual black and white night footage, and the human and motion detection means I’m not getting notifications every time a leaf blows by. Setup was simple and it connected to the wifi right away. A solid pick for keeping an eye on the yard or the kids playing outside.
Great for security or just watching nature. Windows are convenient locations for cameras.
I ordered this camera because I wanted to keep an eye on my backyard I don’t have a good place to mount t and power a camera outside.
This camera is perfect because I can stick it to the window facing my yard and see the exact spot I want to monitor.
This camera does not have a battery and only gets power fora USB-C power supply. It come with. The wall power supply and super long power cord that is perfect if your outlet is far from your window. My outlet is close to my windyso I just used a shorter cord I had lying around.
The image is super clear, the 2K capure combined with the 110 degrees lens capers a wide area with decent resolution. It’s enough to make out squirrels and other animals clearly in my backyard.
This camera supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi, a lot of older cameras only support 2.4GHz, which usually gives better range, but can cause slower connections. The included of 5GHz it perfect for indoor use and the camera loads faster then other 2.4GHz cameras I have.
Over all this is the perfect camera for monitoring parts of you yard where you don’t have a good place to put a camera outside. Great for security or just viewing a capturing nature in you backyard.

The Verdict
A well-designed and reliable window-mounted security camera that performs brilliantly for monitoring the outside of your property from indoors. It is easy to mount, offers superb night vision performance, and represents great value for money. Highly recommend.
I didn’t expect this camera to be as good as it is but for what I use it for watching the wildlife in my garden overnight it’s perfect. The clear picture during the day is as good as my Eufy door camera and better than Eufy at night. The only problem is if anything moves during the night whatever moves goes slightly blurred and that’s why I rated it 4 stars.
This window camera is a really convenient option for anyone wanting extra security without drilling holes or doing any complicated installation. The magnetic mount makes it quick and easy to attach to the window, which is particularly useful if you’re renting or simply don’t want to damage the wall.
The 2K resolution provides a clear, detailed picture, while the upgraded night vision is designed to give better visibility in low-light conditions. I also like that it has anti-glare technology to help reduce reflections from the window, which can otherwise make camera footage difficult to see.
The dual-band Wi-Fi is another useful feature, and the option to record locally to an SD card means you can use it without having to pay a monthly subscription. Person and motion detection with alerts is handy for keeping an eye on activity when you’re not at home.
Overall, a feature-packed little security camera with easy installation and no compulsory monthly fees.
I’ve been using this camera indoors and have been impressed with the picture quality for such a compact camera. The 2K resolution gives a clear image that I’ve been really happy with.
Setup was quick and straightforward and the app is reasonably easy to navigate, The person and motion detection gives useful notifications without needing to constantly check the camera.
The 24/7 recording option is also a good feature if you want more than just motion-triggered clips. The camera itself doesn’t take up much space and is easy to position where you need it.
Overall, this is a good little indoor security camera with plenty of useful features for the price. The combination of clear video, motion/person detection and continuous recording makes it good value for money.
