This was a replacement for my old monitor which had came to the end of its life. This one does exactly the same job. Battery operated and compact so it can be placed anywhere.
Simple product that was easily wall mounted near my combi boiler.
Unlike FireAngel products, the screws provided with Kidde products do not seem to round off under the slightest screwdriver pressure so that’s a bonus.
Good price for what I need. It works when you press the testing button. However, I don’t actually know if it really works or not because when I tried to put it close to the wooden burner, it didn’t beep.
Put the batteries included in and it is good to go. It’s got a good little test sequence and does what it is meant to. The alarm has a very loud beep.
Not much can be said it’s a detector and we can only comment on its efficiency if we have a leak, which we don’t want. Looks good. Delivered in excellent time. Easy to install. Correct size for the space we had.
Good little CO detectors but strangely it was significantly cheaper to buy 2 single ones than a twin pack buy hey ho whatever and I like that these ones don’t have the stupid built in battery so are not limited if the battery fails prematurely.
I thought how easy it was to install and how it flashed to get me to position it correctly nice bit of kit and it’s a brand you can trus
Like many, having a gas boiler always can emit nasty gases at some point, best to have an alarm like this to save you and your family should something go wrong
I have this in my little ones room as the boiler is in there, works well so far as I test it once a week and no problems with it. had for about 6 months now.
Product good and as described. Delivery on the day as promised but just left by front door with a brief knock on the front door, no waiting for an answer, though we were in. That’s Amazon. Good job it wasn’t raining as the package was just paper.
Looks similar to the one it replaces, but now only requires two AA batteries, not three. And they come with it. And they are Duracell branded, not some cheap rubbish ones. Should last 10 years like the last one did.
Easy to start up. Good price. Will be taking mine on holiday! Best to be safe & sure whilst abroad!
I ordered this item for a church kitchen. Essential to ensure safety of public from carbon monoxide poisoning.
It has tested ok and appears to be in working order.
It is a tidy design and moulding quality seems fair.
Hopefully alarm will work should the emergency arise.
Bought one as it was highlighted in a gas survey I was missing one. This meets the Industry standards/expectations.

Does the job – flashes a light every now and then to tell you that its working.
Have it freestanding on a table and is reassuring to have it.

Easy to install, comes with batteries too. Instructions easy to follow. Can be mounted discreetly so doesn’t look untidy. I have recently tested it and it made all the right noises so presume it’s doing it’s job.
