I have to say it good value got money but it’s a little cheap looking
The batteries come with the pack but don’t really say which way you fold back the clips to insert the batteries.

Booklet lots of information doesn’t really explain very well ( no graphics) where you should place the alarm.
The back plate/ battery case is how you hang the unit again dissatisfied as it doesn’t really clip into place and you have to use this as the template for the fixings.

Second one I’ve bought. Used Velcro coins to put it on the wall above kitchen door. Easy installation that way with no drilling or nails/screws needed.

I bought this after (what I thought) the old one started beeping. Letting me know it needed replacing.
So I bought this one as it was the same one as the last one.
Turns out I bought a spare as the beeping one was an old one on the shelf that we didn’t use.
Never hurts to have a spare as they have 10 years life.

Bought as replaceme
One of these was already fitted when I bought my house, so this was just a replacement. Very easy to install as screws were in the same place. Very neat and does the job as it bleeps when batteries are low and it’s easy to do a regular check.

Easy to set up - alright to install
Only issue would be the installation instructions- there are none. It’s quite straight forward anyway but I would’ve rathered to have an instruction pack included so I wouldn’t have to guess the screw mm

Does what it should. Easy to use, comes with screws and rawl plugs and it’s also free standing, so if like me you can’t be bothered to drill into the wall, you don’t have to!

Easy to install yourself and very easy to understand instructions with test buttons.

The initial calibration and beeping might drive you mad, and the batteries seemed to go opposite to the negative-spring orientation I was expecting, but once it settles down it is fine and has a test button on the front.

I needed a new carbon monoxide detector. It was a bit fiddly and didn’t balanced tidy. I had to put something underneath to.make it level on my unit. It was more to do with that than the detector.

Bought two of these CO (not CO2 as some reviewers have stated!) alarms for my kids when they went off to Uni. I am glad I did, as one had a boiler cupboard in her bedroom, so we placed it just inside the cupboard right next to the boiler. I would not have been happy for her to sleep in the room without this device being present. Easy to set up with a piercingly load alarm so impossible to ignore if it does go off. Obviously not possible to know exactly how effective they are until something goes wrong and CO is released, which will hopefully be never.

These are compact and work well but I’ve taken a star off because the first one only lasted a year before failing completely. Other than that they work very well as far as I can tell.

Bought as a replacement easy to set up and batteries included
Had no issues, easy to just put batteries in and leave by the gas hob, gas oven and boiler. Haven’t heard it make a noise since which is a good thing! The sound test is very loud/works. Light is unnoticeable at night, can easily be tucked away, also has a very easy to install two screw mounting on the back option. Overall it lasts 10 years and it’s well priced for quality piece of kit with a good name brand so can’t go wrong. Didn’t want to get an off-brand or unreliable brand/random brand I haven’t heard of before since the alarm is the only way you’ll ever know of carbon monoxide, so wanted to spend on a reliable alarm.

This carbon monoxide alarm is very easy to use, good quality and was delivered well packaged. Easy to secure to the wall if not wanting this to be a mobile unit. Very loud piercing noise that would not go unnoticed if this needed to alert the homeoccupiers to a leak

Only issue is that it should come with flathead screws. The roundhead ones that come with the alarm, scratch the back of the battery and they’re cheap too. Installation should never compromise battery safety, however as long as you’re not constantly hanging and removing the alarm from the wall, batteries will be okay.

I needed to replace my current carbon monoxide alarm so opted for the same make and model as I knew it worked. I just stand it on the wooden plinth above my door and it sits there quietly protecting my home.

Gave it 5 stars as I just assume it works. Purchased before our gas inspection as the gas man had mentioned on his previous 2 visits that we should invest in such an alarm. He liked it and his approval put us at ease.

Easy to install, good price I guess but first one I’ve bought for my daughter’s bedroom as she has the boiler on that room. Followed instructions. I haven’t put it on the wall, it’s in the airing cupboard with the boiler sitting on a shelf.

This is the second one of these that I have purchased and they are absolutely brilliant. My carbon monoxide alarm went off twice this year due to a faulty boiler and if I didn’t have this alarm I would have been in trouble!! If you don’t have one in your home I strongly suggest you get one. Better to be safe and these are relatively cheap to be fair.
