Electric ShowersElectric Showers require cold water only which is heated instantly to provide a hot shower. – An electric shower only heats the water you use once the shower is switched on. Gravity fed hot water system
This system has a cold water tank in the loft or in the top of the airing cupboard and a hot water cylinder below it. The water in the cylinder is heated by a boiler or an electric immersion heater and fed to taps via a pipe from the top of the cylinder. As the hot water in the cylinder is used up, it is replaced with cold water from the tank above, which in turn is refilled from the mains water supply via a float operated valve. System water pressure is usually low. To give a higher pressure and flow rate from a mixer shower a booster pump can be installed.
Gravity fed hot water system with Booster Pump
This system has a cold water tank in the loft or in the top of the airing cupboard and a hot water cylinder below it. The water in the cylinder is heated by a boiler or an electric immersion heater and fed to taps via a pipe from the top of the cylinder. As the hot water in the cylinder is used up, it is replaced with cold water from the tank above, which in turn is refilled from the mains water supply via a float operated valve. System water pressure is increased due to the addition of a Booster Pump.
Unvented System
An unvented system has a hot water cylinder that is connected directly to the mains cold water supply and there is no need for a cold water tank in the home. The water is heated by a boiler or an electric immersion heater. As everything is under the pressure of mains water, the flow rates from taps and showers are much better and a pump is not needed to get a powerful shower. An unvented cylinder can be installed virtually anywhere e.g. in an airing cupboard or garage.
Combination Boiler
A combi – boiler can be located anywhere within the home. More often wall mounted but some are floor mounted. It heats water ‘on demand’ when a hot tap or mixer shower is turned on. Connected directly to the mains cold water supply at high pressure there is no need for a hot water cylinder, cold water tank or shower pump in the home.

Really nice and compact shower, gives a really good water pressure compared with the older Triton I had. It’s small and has a very nice design too. Definitely recommend.

Bought to replace an older shower of the same model which had lasted over 10 years and only broke because I bought one of those “high pressure” shower heads with the balls in and those balls (or debris from them) find their way into the inner workings of your shower and kill it.
Easy to fit because all of the fittings etc were in exactly the same place as the previous shower.
The fittings that come with this are a bit plasticky and cheap looking so I left the previous ones in place.

Perfect replacement for our old Triton Bewitch
This unit was the ideal replacement for our old Triton Bewitch model that I fitted over 13+ years ago, and never had a problem through that time, and basically it was time to renew due to the water heater failure, and this was simply a direct remove/replace (No drilling) with all mountings, water connection and electrics that took less than 30mins to fit and ready to use.
Great quality and many thanks to Triton for keeping the same design template for easy replacement. Recommended purchase!!

It’s been a while since I’ve fitted an electrical shower. Found it easy to fit and nicely surprised of how much hot water was produced
Not a power showe
Lovely shower, simple to install (get a plumber to do it for you!). Only issue is that the hot/cold/warm buttons are as you would expect, so don’t burn of freeze by mistake.

Despite being told this shower is not recommended outside England
I live in Ireland and it was clearly stated that the shower isn’t for sale outside the UK but in discussion with a Triton Engineer he wouldn’t recommend for sale in Scotland or Wales. I fitted a 2bar pump and the input water pressure well above the recommend flow rate as was the output flow rate. The shower only started up with the shower head hanging well below the shower body. I found the issue at a slightly weeping joint letting in air. Once fixed shower works perfectly in Ireland
Shower unit is super but…
Ok bottom line the shower unit is a 5 star unit. I fitted the shower no issues but do have all the tools and know what I am doing with the plumbing and electrical work needed (if you don’t then get someone in to do it). However, the wall bracket that holds the shower head is awful (plastic poor fitting rubbish)- they might be better selling it without the bracket or charging a bit more and providing a better bracket/wall rail for the shower head and soap dish to sit.

Good value for money
This was purchased to replace the same make that had developed a small leak after many years use. Good product based on past experience. Benefit of this was the price. At least 10 less than other suppliers (Argos for example). It does not come in a fancy printed box – it is in plain packaging which must also be good for the environment.
Nice shower, stop button takes time to work.
Replaced a previously installed Triton Shower and was a little disappointed to find that the screw holes and connectors, despite looking in the same position, were a little different. Which made it difficult to fit as I had to move it completely and fill the existing holes.
Other than that the shower works well.
*** Bear in mind that after hitting the stop button it takes a few seconds to actually stop the flow of water as it has a phased shut down system ***

Really Easy to Install
I purchased this for my brother to replace his 5 uear old broken one, it was the same model and it was really easy to do, it only took me 15 minutes and it was just turning off the water mains and switching off the electric, loosening the nut and screws then putting in the new one. It was that simple. My brother really likes this model and he says it works really well.

ABSOLUTLY BRILLIANT
This unit replaces my 9.5KW Martinique Shower. My 9.5KW unit has served me well for about 15 years. I replaced it with another 9.5KW which was not as good as my previous unit. Less heating and therefore slower water stream. I was a little disappointed so replaced it with the 10.5kw model and WOW what a difference! The water is now piping hot and with a full powerful water flow. I am absolutely delighted – I wish I had changed to this model years ago. Easy to fit at a very low price (A good deal on Black Friday)!

Replacement - My last Martinique lasted 13yrs - that's with it being used on average 3-4 times/day.
A brilliant 10.5kW Shower
Rang Triton to get Spare Parts as my old one was acting up… it was going to be expensive to get the parts so I went ahead I got a completelynew unit. Couldn’t believethey were still making them!
Installation wise, it was really handy… just a direct swap out with the old one. Had to get myself a new 15mm compression fitting as the old olive was stuck to the old shower inlet.
Fingers crossed this one will last as long 🙂

Installation was fairly easy but surface water and electricity feed requires cutting holes in the casing which wasn’t ideal. Once it’s fitted and running, I’d say it’s pretty good. Fast, consistent heating and well controlled phased shutdown.

I had an older version of this shower for many years and when it eventually failed I was advised to replace rather than than repair. Although a different model name it was a direct replacement, all the connections matched so no change in in plumbing or electrical connections.

Hopefully this one will last twenty five years like the old one. I didn’t use the rail and hose as my old one is a lot nicer as its made of brass and chrome

Easy to fit as replacement for Gainsborough Stanza 8.5kw Showe
Much better output than the Gainsborough it replaced, the extra 2 KW really make a difference, aspecialy at this time of the year when the cold water feed coming up from underground is so cold.
I fitted it myself, which was very easy, water inlet was in the same place as the Gainsborough Stanza.

Bought item to replace a Triton Bewitch that had started to fail. Fitted precisely so ideal for the job. It was a reasonable price and delivered promptly.
Good enough for the purpose
This is an up grade for me from using Triton 8.5. Easy to operate, push of buttons mainly, l just fixed it a couple of days ago, do this wouldn’t be a true reflection, 3 months after I think proper usage and might have gelled properly. Like the colour combo as we.

Used to replace Opal 3. Works well but was necessary to move fixing points and not straight swop.
