Performance is really great and it’s really good for cleaning/ great price and a great affordable product/ well worth the money/ easy to use and easy to fill up and empty the cleaner / it’s really portable and it’s really versatile for use/ suction is really good and it’s just a great aqua cleaning hoover/ a great buy
Carpet has been in need of a clean for a while. Was looking at getting a professional clean but hadn’t the chance during summer. With autumn here I didnt want to waste the money as cat and muddy shoes etc carpet doesn’t stay clean long. As this was on prime say flash sale I thought I’d give it a go. My mother had a big bulky vax carpet cleaner. Thing did an OK job. But was never amazing.
Under a third of the cost of my usual company.
Gave it a quick go when it was delivered, using the basic solution it comes with, and pleasantly suprised. It works better then expected. Quick too. Carpet left only damp, not wet. Finish isn’t quite as good as professional, but. The professional job is a few hours. It took me 10 mins. The professional job is 3 times the price. With the better performance solution it will be good as new and save me a fortune and I’ll be able to give it a quick clean monthly instead of getting an expensive company in each summer.
Only quibble is the machine is a bit cheap construction, so no heavy handiness. Also the screw to the handle wouldn’t say in. The thread had no grip. So fell out during use resulting in the handle falling off. A little gorilla glue and that things there for good.

I love my new vax brought to replace old one that didn’t have the rolling brush bar this make it so much easier cleans with ease and sucks water out really well when you release the handle would recommend

This machine was purchased as a desperate measure as I couldn’t find anything better for the price.
It is the fourth Vax washer I have owned, the first one I lost in a flood so I bought another the same as it did a good job however Having a Labrador I decided to upgrade to the platinum model which was a complete waste on money as it went rusty, despite thorough cleaning after each use, then the rotating wheels packed up then it packed up altogether and to cap it all Vax denied all knowledge of the machine when given all the numbers required. Any way I bought this one and it is ok, does the job. Mind you I went to a well known German supermarket and to my surprise there was the identical model 15 cheaper. What can I say?? At least buying from Amazon gives you buyer protection.

Excellent carpet shampooer for the price. Does leave my carpet pretty wet after use and you can’t use on the stairs but it’s well worth the money
Don’t use where there is hai
Bought to clean up after dog (old and getting infirm) he sometimes can’t wait until morning so wanted something to clean Carpet.. however as there is some pet hair the brushes just clog up and it deposits poo covered hair when you pull it back.. and you have to clean brushes after which is really not pleasantI know it’s not “for pets” but really should say don’t use if you have pets

It doesn’t work on the stairs so I bought the Vax spot cleaner for the stairs which it great. This one cleaned the carpets really well. I was shocked at the colour of the water. Quick and easy to use – I could assemble it myself easily and I am not good with instructions. Very good price. Does the job well. Happy customer.

Fantastic
I am pleasantly surprised by the outcome….I spent almost 2 years on my all fours cleaning the carpet as previous cats lived here….Now, my puppy has ‘accidents’, mostly on the carpet….The carpet looks new, now…. the smell almost disappeared as I can see there were some years of not washing the carpet properly….
Rubber washer failure
Product is good, but a serious issue which has occurred for us. The rubber washer that “plugs” between the clean water tank and the chassis has popped out. So there’s no watertight seal between the two, meaning water escapes out of the back of the machine (when tank is clipped in, and machine is not running or handle pulled to dispense).
I’ve put it back in a number of times, but it keeps coming out. So I may need to dismantle the unit, super glue it in.
Other than that, this does a great job of cleaning the carpets.
We bought this one as a “budget” and a “quick fix” solution (we’re aware there are more expensive units around), and honestly, I think it’ll do us for as long as it lasts.
Only fiddly think I don’t like, is dog hair gets stuck in the slit of the vacuum head (which sucks up the dirty water). I use wooden marshmallow sticks to separate it gently enough to allow me to use our shower hose to wash the hair out. I suspect there’s a animal machine which is on offer that can deal with hair, but we haven’t looked, but is something I’ll look out for when we’re in the market for a new machine.

Excellent product. This replaced an older cleaner I had which did last fifteen years so good service but this replacement is so much better with ease of use and so light to handle which is great for someone who is elderly.

Fabulous carpet cleaner, albeit not for stairs or upholstery as there is no attachment supplied, I don’t even if there is an option to add one ?
Positives:
* Breeze to set up and use with fabulous results
* Super light & easy to manoeuvre
Negatives:

As per the buying however, I brought a returned item for a bit cheaper, however upon opening it was missing 2 bolts to hold the unit together , I substituted these with some I already had and set it up to use, however once I’d filled it with water and put the reservoir back it proceeded to leak out water everywhere…. Turns out that a critical washer was also missing , I’ve managed again to sort with ingenuity and some rubber hose… And it works a treat now and no leaks…..
To sum up good product so far ,buy a unmolested, new,one as still worth the price and miss my problems…..

Perfect for me to use
This product is just so easy and light to use, we had a bigger one but it was very heavy this is light and the cleaning of my carpet which gets grubby due to wheelchair wheels always going over it was absolutely great, it got rid of all grit and left the carpets soft to tread o
For 100 GBP, it does the job. We have two dirty polyester / plastic carpets and are renting. With a small dog he was scratching a lot so we wanted to clean. A professional clean would cost a few hundred so we grabbed this on sale.
It’s pretty bulky, although we can hide it away on a shelf in the boiler room, and hard to do corners, etc but it does the job.
From a full tank we can do an entire small bedroom, and need a tank and a bit for the main bedroom. This sucks up a lot of gunk, hair and dirt. Attached is the material and dirty water from a small room.
The machine struggles a bit with hair, it gets stuck around the roles and difficult to clean. There’s a pet version I saw after buying, maybe that’s better?
All in all, does the job: 4/5.

My 9 year old carpet was looking very tired and I was thinking about getting a new one. As I have young grandchildren I thought I would buy this and give it a try. I’m very glad I did, my carpet looks great and it was very easy to use

Can’t rate it for stairs as i have none ,bought it with a damaged box ,so saved 25.00 ,product in perfect condition ,easy set up easy to use , straight out the box set it up & did my grubby hall carpet which looks a nice Platinum again & smells fresh , piles standing nicely & got a sheene to it, use it slowly & it will do its job well ,went over a couple of time’s toget moisture out , popped theheating on & dry within 90 mins ,happy with this purchase & performance ,couldnt believe the dirty water & gri

I bought this as a cosmetically damaged item from Amazon, but had to return it because vital parts were missing. But I bought one elsewhere and am really pleased with it’s performance. Very bad areas of the carpets do need more than one treatment but that is to be expected. I used it with the Vax shampoo

his is a very easy machine and good weight as animals do bring in lots of dirt only draw back is not being able to pull of front see through top of to clean i ahve found that i have to sit machine on tray and suck up clean water maybe its me and i can not see how to remove it was easy on the old one
