This new Shark cleaner is great , I have had two with dogs it’s the best I have tried . It collects all the hair and leaves everywhere nice and clean. I would never go for another now.
A very versatile machine. The hose release is easy and convenient and tools easily accessible. Dust container holds enough for full vacuuming of cat occupied property and empties easily..
I am very satisfied with my purchase.
Only one criticism is that the turbo brush does not store on the machine.
It sucks, man! in a good way that is (like a hoover should). You can take it to pieces when it gets clogged and it is quite impressive how much dirt it manages to remove from my carpets. Though slightly worrying that our previous vacuum cleaners clearly left it all there. No wonder the wife has asthma.
I do like this Vacuum cleaner but only time will tell and hope that it cleans up pet hairs, which I might doubt. I have 6 cats so i have my fingers crossed
Received during the afternoon, unboxed amazon box easy, unboxing from the hoover box was easy, setting up the hoover was easy, using the hoover was great made major difference from my old Dyson hoover that I had for 20 years.
It’s not heavy or light it’s in between and sound like a hoover runs like a hoover and acts like a hungry hoover no bits missed.
Power leads good length for a normal average size home.
Was a gamble on budget but it worth it.
Highly recommend this to anyone who looking for a decent hoove
I read all the reviews before making up my mind as to which vacuum I needed.
This little vac was on offer so i decided to give it a go .
One lady said she didn’t realize how much dirt there was in her carpet , well neithet did i . The pickup is great , cordlength is brilliant, easy to clean my stairs with the lift away. Good attachments, easy to go from carpet to hard floors , and for me its light and easy to manouver
Suffice to say I think it’s great.
Due 1st week in September and arrived mid August – a lovely surprise. Bought because my 10 year old Dyson not as good as it used to be but OMG this takes hoovering to a whole new level! I can’t believe how much it pulled out of the carpets! In a house with both a springer spaniel and a husky that drops shedloads of tumblefluff, it not only coped but removed the hair first go so didn’t have to keep going over the same spot over and over. Most definitely can recommend for pet owners.
Bought this hoover in a sale and really pleased with it. Delivered undamaged it was easy to assemble and looks good. It’s very powerful on carpets and hard floors and the cord length is decent. It is a little heavy but it feels like a quality piece of kit, does a great job and is easy to use. I know it’s not the most recent Shark hoover but I don’t think you could get a better upright for the price and we did a lot of research before purchase. We have a dog and it’s already done a great job picking up dog hairs on all surfaces. Will post an additional review in three months!
Initial assembly was easy and clicked together well.
The Shark vacuum cleaner moves very easily on both carpet and hard floors. At first I found it was hard to push on carpet, but by moving the ‘suction max/min’ button on the handle from ‘max’ towards ‘min’ it glided well.
The suction is good and picks up well
It’s neither noisy or quiet, but as you’d expect a vacuum cleaner to be.
Empties easily
The top lifts off the base for ease of cleaning staircases etc
I am absolutely over the moon with this hoover. I have Rheumatoid and Osteoarthritis so I was a bit worried that changing to an upright would cause me problems but so far I can say it manoeuvres and cleans extremely well and I have been surprised at the amount of dirt, fluff etc that it has picked up each day I have used it. I am so pleased that I went for this hoover as I just love the way it gets under my birds cages, the table and chairs as well as picking everything up on the hard and carpeted floor. I cannot express how happy I am about my new hoover and another good thing is how easily it all clips together and apart for the ceilings, skirting boards, stairs and emptying. I would thoroughly recommend this hoover as I can’t at the moment find any faults with i
I was very impressed with this hoover and after using it I realised how rubbish my other one was! It sucked up dirt I didn’t even know was there!! Good packaging, easy to assemble, easy to empty after use and no bags which is great. Good for pet hair (I have two dogs) not too heavy, good cord length, would reccommend
Very happy with the product. I had never used a fancy vacuum cleaner like this one, having only used classical ones in the past (e.g., Henry or similar).
I had to find a vacuum cleaner that would fit behind the door in my room due to space constraints. Being detachable, I’m storing the base part separately and the upright part behind the door, so the door can open properly. This way, I have it easily accessible as well. Just grab the two pieces, put them together in one click, and vacuum. In a maximum of 5 minutes, I’m done cleaning the carpet in my room.
It has strong suction, and the rotating brush is brilliant. It’s light enough for me to maneuver easily. It is also very versatile and can be used in many setups, reaching into my drawers and not easily accessible corners and spots. It is just perfect. I never knew how practical these vacuum cleaners are.
I don’t have pets, but the pet attachment is very useful, having a smaller rotating brush to fit tight spaces or stairs. Although the vacuum cleaner itself is not too noisy, the pet attachment is, due to the whistle effect, but it is not a major issue. All the other attachments are good and practical.
The cord is quite long, reaching all areas of my room and all the floor’s staircase without having to switch outlets, which is very convenient. The dust container is easy to empty, not requiring a bag or other consumables. It has a sponge separator between the container and the motor that is quite impractical to clean as it retains a huge amount of dust, but it’s not necessarily an issue. I’ll probably use a rubbish liner to dust that inside next time. It’s unreal the amount of dust it collects in the container; I don’t know where it all comes from. It has some LED lights that might be useful; however, I can’t say they helped me too much, but they are there.
I haven’t tried the vacuum too much on hard floors, just a little bit, but from what I’ve tried, it performs very well. I’ve used it mostly on carpet, and it’s brilliant. It has separate switch positions for hard floors and carpet. Maintenance is straightforward, aside from the aforementioned sponge separator.
Based on my experience with this Shark vacuum cleaner so far, I’m very satisfied.
The suction is brilliant and a great vacuum cleaner but far too heavy for me to lift and push.
I am 70 years old and not frail by any means but I have arthritis and hands/wrist flare ups.
If that is YOU then I don’t recommend this vacuum.
It is a brilliant machine and ticks all the boxes so for others reading this then it’s a great buy.
My living room carpet looked great after it was done and made me smilethe dust it collected was amazing.

This was so easy to out together, has a really good suction, picks up hairs from human and pet brilliant. Also I live the light so you can see where to go . Nice and light weight. Cord length is nice and long so great for the stairs . Overall great performance.
The first thing I noticed was that the suction on this Shark vacuum cleaner was really strong, so much so that it felt heavy to move. There is an adjustable setting so that it doesn’t suck as much, but I was thinking that this would mean that it wouldn’t pick up as much, but that didn’t seem to be the case. I did find myself constantly adjusting the suction and the one for hard floors or carpets.
When you put it in the upright position the rollers stop moving, which is the only thing I don’t like about it as I like to use that position for vacuuming the stairs.
It is very easy to lift off the stick to make is easy to get into the edges and 2 of the 3 included attachments have places on board, I’m not sure why there is no place for the 3rd piece.
My old vac is an 8 year old Oreck, and I was happy with it for years, but just lately it hasn’t been picking up as well as it used to do. This Shark picked up a lot of stuff off my carpets and my carpets still look clean 5 days later, something that hasn’t happened with my Oreck for a while now.
It was easy to empty straight into the bin, and it doesn’t require bags, so no additional expense until you need repair parts; hopefully that will be years in the future.
I’m going to have to figure out how to best vac my stairs, but the fact that my carpets have remained clean for so long with 3 of us and a moulting cat walking all over them is enough to make me want to do that.
If this Shark lasts 8 years, like my Oreck did, then I will definitely be looking to get another Shark next time, and will try to find one where the rollers don’t stop when it is in the upright position. I’m not sure why they think that is a good feature, it isn’t as far as I’m concerned! Maybe they could have a switch for that, too, for those of us who don’t like that feature.
I had a similar Shark cleaner some years ago, but it didn’t have the lift away functionality. I have a mix of porcelain tiles and carpet and need a long nozzle to clean cobwebs, skirting boards, carpet edges etc. I have another upright cleaner but it’s a real fiddle to switch from nozzle cleaning to ordinary cleaning and involves adding tubes, fiddling with clips etc.
The beauty of Shark is that they’ve put a lot of thought into making adding or removing attachments very simple. Mostly it’s one click and good to go. As I have grip and strength issues with my hands, this is important; I want to make the job as easy as possible not have to spend ages messing with the machine.
The lift away section is superb. It’s comfortable to hold, it doesn’t fall over easily and it’s not too heavy. Adding a metal extension pole to the concertina hose section is simple and means you can vacuum skirtings etc without bending. I’ve carried it around with ease. The container is a decent size, so debris doesn’t have to be emptied every few minutes. It takes seconds to restore it to a standard upright and moving from one surface to another is just a simple click of a switch. The suction power is superb. I was surprised at how much dust has come up from the carpets, so I guess it’s better than the Vax I’ve been using for some 6 months. Emptying the canister is easy; just press a button to release fro the machine, the press open the base of the canister and all the debris falls out into the bin. The anti wrap technology works well and it really picks up cat and dog hairs from the carpet. The lights are powerful and useful in dingy corners.
Overall, this feels a little more plasticky than the model I had about 5 years ago, but it’s robust and well made and cones with a 5 year warranty. The upholstery and pet hair tools are excellent. Simple to attach and remove and make vacuuming sofas and mattresses a bit of a doddle. Much, much easier than using a standard upright. In a nutshell, I can’t fault this appliance. I’ve had a Dyson in the past and I think this is not only better, it’s significantly less expensive. I nearly bought the corded stick version and I’m pleased I changed my mind and decided to try the slightly larger lift away. It’s much better all round. Very, very happy to recommend.
Strong suction. Brilliant vacuum. Will only buy Shark fron now on.
Easy to use, excellent on the stairs and fantastic for the car.
Still find it a bit awkward on stairs. Maybe just not used to it ye
Love this hoover, do light, easy to use and cleans brilliantly!

Worths every penny.
Great Vacuum I promise it showed how my carpet stinks hahah.
I am beyond grateful for this Shark.
I had to empty the filter multiple times if not million times. in general its Not that heavy.
The most beautiful thing is that my cat has no more allergies as the carpet has been cleaned Better than any other day.
Oh my God I have never loved a vaccum like that.
Worths every penny.
The only annoying thing is that there is nothing can hold it so it falls on the ground but I still love the vaccum and I really recommend it.
Love i
So far my fav hoover. I have lots of gunea pigs hair poops etc . This baby does amazing job to keep all in tact. A bit heavy to push though
Found suction very powerful thankfully they fitted a decrease switch so I can move the vacuum across my carpeted floo
General House cleaning, everything you would expect from a shark product. Lightweight, good suction and superb on stairs.
I love how strong the suction is, it cleans so well. The many ways i can use it by detaching the pipe or even the whole thing and carry it to clean the stairs is perfect. 10/10 would defo recommend.
Great vacuum and particularly good if you have dogs – definitely the best cleaner I have had (and I’ve had a few).
Equally good on hard and carpeted floors. Also comes with a 5 year warranty for peace of mind.
Wow,it’s like I’d never hoovered with my other appliance. I’d filled the container and I’d only done it 4-5 days earlier.
