The solar panel is included with the camera purchase so you don’t have to keep recharging the lithium battery separately (I recommend initially charging it to 100% using the cable provided and your existing phone charger). I was surprised at how good the solar panel charging is. Obviously fixing the solar panel south facing towards the sun is best, however my solar panel is on a west facing wall and although only getting the sun for a few hours in late afternoon, this is sufficient to keep the camera remaining fully charged despite the camera sensing quite a lot of activity.
The camera is easy to set up and use after downloading the Cloud Edge app on your phone. Check that you can get a wi-fi signal from your router where you want to have the camera installed. It comes with fixings included for both camera and solar panel. Note the cable connecting the solar panel to the camera is 3m long. The recordings are clear for both photos and video. I am also surprised how good the microphone and speakers are, allowing you to have a conversation from your phone with someone in front of the camera. Overall I am really pleased with this camera. Don’t forget though you will need to purchase a micro SD card (up to 128GB) separately.

Likes – the amazing build. They are beautifully made and they work really well. They are very good value for money and the major reason for buying these is that there is no wiring at all. I was faced with a monstrous job of hard wiring a NVR with hardwired cameras and a mains feed. All that is now unnecessary because I set them up with the router and fixed them to the walls. Job jobbed!
The infra-red illumination is incredible, bearing in mind the led’s are invisible. The light up such a big area.
The pan function is so very useful, saving us having to get extra cameras pointing the other way. Being able to control and view through the cameras when we’re not at home is perfect. I have the front one set to alert if someone approaches the drive. It beeps me and I click the alert on my iPhone to get a shot of who it is.
People have complained about the app, we have ours on iPads and iPhones. They are a bit clunky, but they work and they do the job. Using them to set it all up is brilliant, and there’s even a video to help you. Using them to view history isn’t ideal but it works. I use video screen capture to make a video of the event or events if I want to save the footage. Very simple to do.
The manual is in poor English and there are some things that aren’t explained at all, for example motion detection choices and what they mean. It’s not very intuitive but research and playing around does reveal all the answers eventually.
Update after six weeks:
The memory chip will probably hold about six or seven months of historical footage, it’s 64GB, motion detection is at full sensitivity and I still have about 53GB on each camera.
From first touch on my iPhone, it takes about four seconds to load the camera, which is excellent.
Both cameras are doing a lot of work and do I expected the batteries to need recharging after two or three weeks. At six weeks, they’re still half full.
The front camera is set to ding if anyone walks near it. This is so useful!
I am going to relocate one camera temporarily down the garden to act as a trail-cam so we can see what’s moving down there near the stream. That should be interesting! At the moment all we have is our cat, cleaning herself and using up memory and battery

I have now mounted one of these on a sharpened plank that I can stick in the ground where wild life frequents in the garden. I am using this one as a “Trail Cam” with the sensitivity set to “high” at night. it’s BRILLIANT!

Have my camera installed for 4 weeks now, wanted to wait to see how it worked. Day/night vision very good. Motion detection seems to be a little dodgy as there has been 3 occasions (that I’m aware of) where we have come home ourselves and it didn’t pick us up or send alert. This is worrying as the whole purpose of the camera is to detect if anyone on our property. I have tried changing the hours of detection on the app to see if this would make a difference but it didn’t. Pity as it was very easy to install and set up.
This is my second iGeek security camera, and it is as good, if not better than the first!
OVERALL – This is an excellent camera for the money, with great picture quality, night vision, good motion detection, and SD card and cloud storage options. Both my cameras are solar-powered, and this makes installing the physical camera very easy. They haven’t missed an event yet, and I would buy again if I ever needed more coverage!

Bought it for peace of mind as one of my neighbours keeps scaring me about local crime stats! I’ve installed it about eight feet high, looking out on the back garden and outbuildings, the first one looks over the cars at the front.
Camera functions – 10/10 – the PTZ function allows you to move the camera around from the app. Night vision and overall image quality – 10/10 – really crisp images, easy to identify people at night, and triggered only by foxes and people, when the camera is set correctly. Motion detection – 9/10 – I have yet to see any problems on this model, but the one at the front is set off by spiders moving in front of it, or their webs blowing in the wind. Lowering the sensitivity seems to stop it. App functionality – 9/10 – does what you need it to do, but is a little clunky. The setting of time intervals for motion detection is easy to use, but reviewing videos from the app notification isn’t possible (it seems), it shows me the photo of the event, but I have to go into the ‘History’ section of the app to view the video clip. Set-up – 5/10 – It’s a bit fiddly. The app gives you step by step instructions, but these are my tips for an easy install:
1) Even though you may be planning to use their cloud recording service (very cheap btw – 30/year – 10/10), it seems easier to set up with a microSD card in it, I think it says this in the instructions, but I am a man and don’t always read these thoroughly! 😉
2) The WiFi set up on the app connects it to whatever network your phone is on, or you can choose another. What you can’t do is switch to the 2.4GHz network if your phone is on 5GHz. The workaround is to temporarily turn off the 5GHz network in your router’s settings, then (on about the 5th attempt overall, everything worked fine)

Good all round security camera
Easy to setup once the app was downloaded to my iphone. Picture quality is good, day & night. I also purchased the solar panel to keep the camera trickle feed with power, hopefully meaning I don’t have to take it down to charge but only time will tell if this is the case. All round pretty pleased with the camera to date.

Easy to set up and simple to use. Good quality images. Can lag rather a lot when trying to move camera on any external network.

Have the 355 one for field and other two are standard.
They are great! Was relatively easy to set up once i got the nack.
Good pictures, good night vision. Sometimes a bit blurry looking out over field at night but expected that. Motion sensors are good but i switch off in stables or pings every time they move . I use 1 camera per 2 stables and it has a good coverage of both. I also use with a Wifi dongle and they work well. The field one is prob 100 meters from the dongle and works well still. I like that you can also zoom in and out on the app.
I got a 3 pack of samsung memory cards from Argos that i use and went for the highest mem card it takes.
Was initially dubious to purchase as looking at others, reviews were mixed, but these seemed to have good reviews so i took a gamble. Glad i did as am not disappointed & wished done ages ago.

So far so good. Proving to be a good purchase.
Only issue I have is , like most security cameras I’ve had, the Sensitivity on motion is far to sensitive. Doesn’t matter if I turn the setting right down, it still over sensitive. But I can live with it.

I’ve had this camera a couple of months now.
And I can say without doubt, it is a great security camera.
I’m very impressed with just how quickly it alerts your mobile phone that someone’s at the door.
Compared to other cameras I’ve had, this one is very good.
It hardly ever drops the WiFi signal.
Sometimes it has, but it never takes long to reconnect…
Altho it does alert me on my mobile phone, it doesn’t send me a million pictures.
That might be because I haven’t got round to putting an SD card into slot. I’m not sure though.
So it alerts me quickly. So I can check straight away, but it doesn’t send me a multiple pictures. Which I’m fine with.
Sensitivity is like most other security cameras. Very sensitive.
Mine is right down to no 3… and I have a certain area zoned…
It does react to wind, fly. Birds. The odd cat. And it will alert you . But minus the 80 pictures….
I can put up with all that, because it’s so quick at alerting me to some dodgy human at my elderly mums door.
Overall, so far. The best security camera I’ve had in that 55 price range.
And yes there’s probably other good cameras out there.
But they’d have to be very good to out do this igeek camera…

Disappointed but now highly delighted
I had major problems getting the router to connect and I actually returned the Camera. I was then contacted by I Geek technical department who sent me videos and were very helpful in getting the product to work perfectly..the technical department are extremely helpful
Easy to install and good app

I have just put up 2 of these cameras. They are brilliant, the Build quality is fantastic. You get a lot of camera for your money. The should be much more expensive. Out of the box they ooze good quality. They are very easy to set up and have a whole array of very easy to use functions. They run on either a good size memory card or by the cloud app. You don’t need the cloud at all and that means no subscription costs as long as you have a memory card installed.
The motion detection is fantastic if you have pets it will not pick them up unless you increase the sensitivity. The human detection rate is 100%. The timeline function is easy to use to see your activity. Push notifications are great these can be on or off. You can also disable the motion detection if you are using your garden a lot say for a party.
The picture quality is brilliant, wide angle lens and you can choose to record in HD or SD. During the day it records in colour and at night in black and white, with full night vision. Really easy to use.
The other good thing is you can use these cameras live to see who is at your door. You can talk to them as they have a built in Mic and speaker which all work really really well. Very useful for deliveries when you are out. The alarm function I have not played with yet a bit scary I feel.
The CloudEdge app is very good again full of useful information including a step up step guide to set up your cameras and it literally monitors every thing. You can take video clips and photos off the cloud or sd card very easily if you need to access any video recorded. The cameras are easy to register on the app with a simple QR code. Just put this in front of the camera and Bingo job done all ready to go.
Overall I can’t recommend this camera enough you really do need to buy these. You won’t be disappointed I promise.
Very impressive
Put this camera out the front of the property and once set up its excellent, the picture quality is very good and you can adjust it to suit your own needs. The variables are considerable and easy to install and work.
With no hard wiring you just set it up to the nearest point to your router but make sure that you charger it before you install it as the solar panel will only top it up to the original charge when installed. All in all I would be pleased to buy another. I did buy the camera, solar panel and card as a unit but very pleased with the set up.

This is my 2nd IeGeek camera, tried and failed with the hard wired but this is was a few years back, this on the other hand is a world apart.
Very well boxed (good unboxing experience).
Very easy to set up once you’ve downloaded the Cloud App.
Takes a few hours to charge up 1st time around.
Once connected its as simple as attaching a small bracket to where you want the camera to be.
Picture is crisp and clear.
Only issue I had was dodging the rain but that’s not the cameras fault!
The only think that would make this 6 stars would the the ability to zoom in and out.

Was originally skeptical about buying this camera after purchasing the the Blink wireless cameras which were totally useless. Firstly, setup was simple and took less than 5 minutes. Wifi signal is superb even through 3 foot thickness walls and located 20 foot upwards from the router. Picture quality is excellent even in night vision. Motion detection can be suited to exactly what you require the camera for. The camera can be moved via the app which has a very wide field of vision. The battery is excellent, lasted over 2 weeks on a busy main road without being recharged and still has over 40% battery left. The intercom feature can be very entertaining if you have the right neighbours.

Great versatile camera
I have previously bought a fixed battery camera for my back garden but wanted one for my front camera that could pan in on certain areas. The iegeek camera arrived next day and as I previously had CloudEdge app for my previous camera it literally took 5 minutes to add the new camera to my phone and iPad and everything was up and running.
The important thing is to insert the micro SD card before you power up the camera and then press the button to format it when prompted, after the camera has been paired.
The moving camera lens is great and easily controlled from my phone/pad and now I can view all of my garden and take videos and photos which are automatically stored on the SD card. The photos are also downloaded onto my mobile device so then it it easy to view them by other media sources. Any footage you do not want is easily deleted through the CloudEdge app.

A really good PTZ camera with a nice price tag
The camera is easy to set up and fix to the wall. The power cable can be easily extended if required, either with extension lead or by cutting it and adding extra cable in between the 2 cut parts if required and soldered back together again. Also if the cable is cut, it makes it easier to pass through the wall and only a small hole needs to be drilled in the wall, then solder the wires back together. The other two cables, reset and ethernet can be tucked inside the unit to get them out the way, if you don’t want to use those. You can do a basic reset by unplugging the power to the unit from inside the house.
The video quality is really good, even at night in black and white nighttime IR setting. I have mine set to the automatic setting. Its very quick to respond to pan and tilt changes from the phone. The “tracking mode” seems to work well, I’m not sure if I will leave that on all the time though.
This is my second camera from ieGeek. I used the app I already had on my Samsung phone, CamHipro, which is free from the play store.
It was easy to setup. I just clicked the + symbol, top right of screen, choose IP camera, selected New Device, powered on and reset (using small push button on end of white wiring loom) and chose the “not connected to the network cable” option. Then on the next screen I chose “AP distribution network equipment” option. This then asked for the wifi password from my router and that’s about it. Camera connected. I haven’t installed a memory card inside the camera as I wanted to connect it to my Synology Disk Station (NAS). This is running a free program called Surveillance Station. This then records movements and stores them on my hard drive in the NAS. I have been doing this for over a year with my other ieGeek bullet camera, a non PTZ version and that has been brilliant, hence getting a second camera for my home system.
I like ieGeek products and the customer service people were helpful last year when I needed some info on fixing brackets for my other camera. They are not just a sales team, they are helpful also.
I think for the price the camara is great value for money and will recommend it to my friends as I know its easy to set up and from a reliable supplier.

Initial set up was frustrating (but possibly because I’m not a geek!) Once I had managed to connect camera to my wireless network the basic operation was quite straight forward.
HOWEVER trying to follow the directions from the enclosed manual was very confusing as the manual glossed over basic functionality e.g, no direction as to reducing Audio / Motion Sensitivity , no guidance as to how to insert SD card, no guidance as to how to Search Video Recordings (I’m still not sure whether I should activate ‘Planned’ Recordings to SD card??) – indeed all the screen shots used in the manual were of the more upgraded CamHipro App – so not much use in setting up the basic CamHi App!
Also not sure how I install the upgraded the CamHipro App now that I currently have the camera operating using the basic CamHi App!!!
Audio and Motion Alarms far too ‘sensitive’… I get loads of alarm notifications just from bird song, wind/rain or slight movement of shrub foliage!.. Additionally there is no guidance as to how to delete all these ‘false’ alarm notifications +40 a day!!! (I have been doing this by ‘formatting the SD card each day as I can’t find any other way of doing this???)
On the plus side the daylight picture quality is very good and the fact you can change the angle of view from your smartphone app is excellent. The motion recording at night is OK but not great (don’t even consider using colour night vision as picture is so pixelated as to render it useless)
Overall this is a good quality security camera at this price point (59.00) but it has limitations, the Audio and Motion Sensitivity means you get loads of unwanted alarm notifications and the manual as supplied is not helpful in explaining the basic CamHi App functionality.
Update:
Having contacted iGeek Customer Service I have since changed to using the CamHipro App. This is certainly an improvement over the basic CamHi App and was relatively easy to switch – just needing to input the camera’s UID code into the new APP. The advantage being you can dial down the Video Motion Sensitivity.
HOWEVER even taking it down to around 5% I still get lots of false alarm notifications from rustling leaves / branches from nearby shrubs and rain showers. At night it’s moths that trigger the Alarm notification! After further contact with Cheryl at iGeek Customer Service I have now been informed that I need a camera with ‘Smart Humanoid Detection’ to significantly reduce false alarm notification – which this camera does not have….
On the plus side Igeek have agreed to refund my purchase price of this camera in compensation for all the frustration I have experienced with this camera!
Refund has now been processed so have now uprated item to 4 Stars at Igeeks request…. but future buyers still need to be aware of this items issues.
Excellent Camera
This is a very good camera for its price bracket. The image quality both day and night time is very good.
The intelligent tracking is really good and tracks any movement until it stops within the detection area.
You can set a preset position which the camera will return to after a short delay following any motion event.
The camera is fully controlled from within the app and once set up is fairly easy to use. One thing to note is this camera is NOT a PIR camera. This means you will get false motion activations from the wind blowing trees, rain or even moths coming through the detection area. This can be a little annoying. Also a little fiddly fixing it to the wall as the camera is larger than you think and the main body hampers your ability to drill and screw up the screws to mount it. As others have said you can hide the cables away behind the camera but I chose a small junction(see picture) which suited me.
The sound and picture quality of this very good for the price and its providing added security at the front where our cars are parked etc.
Overall I would recommend the camera but with the caveat of the PIR comment above

Great wireless camera
Finally a camera that says wireless and actually is wireless, there are many on amazon that say that but aren’t which i found out after ordering one (then returning).
Installation and setup is super easy, and the camera is amazing, I particularly love it’s wide range of motion. It was a bit out of my price range, I planned to spend less, but couldn’t find wireless with pan and tilt at 50 so grabbed this one at flash sale.
The features it don’t have and I wish it had – transerring screen to tv/pc would be nice, and also setting up a recording schedule, I understand recording is human motion activated only. These features were not essential for me so not deal breakers but a reason I gave 4 not 5 stars.

The only minor negative was that the WIFi wouldn’t pick the camera up where we wished to install it but that’s probably not a fault of the camera but more so the wi fi signal outside.

I have eight older ieGeek cameras all running on the Windows HiP2P software and this one is superior in most respects. It still gets 5 stars from me for its functionality but, to get the things I don’t like out of the way, it is mainly white, big and plasticky. It’s attractive enough but I live in the countryside with no neighbours and I don’t want my cameras to be obvious, I have warning notices prominently displayed to deter baddies; the older black (metal) ones are much more discrete and are much more robust. I’d rather keep trespassers guessing where the cameras are so they can’t dodge out of sight or whack them off their mount and this model is, in my opinion, best suited to a town environment where being visible could be an advantage. But in my deeply rural setting it’s a disadvantage and I’ll install them in areas well inside my boundaries so baddies come across them after they have passed a few “invisible” ones and warning signs they couldn’t miss. My much smaller black metal cameras are very hard to spot, especially at night, unless you know where they are. This one jumps out yelling “I’m here”, especially as it’s white.
But this is in my situation and I appreciate most people will likely prefer the deterrent of a security camera being obvious so my rating reflects that.
Very easy to physically mount and set up with the HiP2P software if you are familiar with it (use the latest version!) although the terminologies take getting used to and some settings are unintuitive and hidden, most importantly the “quality” setting which is on “minimum” by default — it makes a huge difference. The wi-fi range is excellent, this camera works perfectly in a location I previously struggled with using one of the older ones. The image quality looks better to me although it is seemingly the same resolution.
Where this camera really scores for me is the pan/tilt/zoom. Forget the zoom, it’s digital, not optical, so would lose definition if used (it doesn’t seem to work anyway on the HiP2P software) but the pan and tilt are excellent. It’s billed as 360 but in practice, unless it can see round corners, it’s 180 if it’s mounted on a flat wall, still perfectly adequate. I haven’t tried the auto-tracking yet but intend to thoroughly check this out in time as automatically covering a wide area with a single camera will be very useful to me.
The night vision is very good too, again seemingly much better than the older models. I won’t be using the colour option for the same reasons as wanting my cameras to be unnoticeable.
We get some ferocious weather here (in France) so I’ll have to wait and see how this lightweight plastic camera fares. Hopefully it will be just fine, the older but metal models have stood up well.
This is a relatively inexpensive camera so I’ve taken that into consideration. It is remarkable value for money and I can’t fault its functionality.
The main thing is, it works very well and I’m very pleased with it, so much so I will buy a couple more for areas a fixed camera couldn’t cover adequately. I have areas that have power from 3 different houses and it’s impractical to run network cable and impossible to use CPL, so the wi-fi range is a significant plus.
Optional information one thing I have disliked about ieGeek cameras is their inability to record in e.g. AVI format that can be shared and viewed with normal software, instead using a proprietary 264 format that nothing except the HiP2P application reads. You CAN convert from this rubbish to a useable format using the mobile app but even their customer service (very good by the way) couldn’t find a way round this on a Windows PC. Well, there is a way! You can’t from the files stored on an SD card but you can save video as AVI if you save direct to a hard drive in a PC (the SD card still works). The problem is of course, the computer has to be on to do this and gobbles up disk space but if it matters (and it does to me) it is possible. I wish I’d known this before because with (now) 9 cameras each with a 128Gb SD card at 22 or so each, that’s 200 I could have saved, enough to buy 10Tb of dedicated external drives. Also, saved to my computer the recordings are safe and readily available rather than going through the slow and clunky HiP2P application.

Everything you need is in the box, including USB cable and mounting nuts. It connected to the WIFI very quickly, which I did inside the house, then took it outside to see if the connection would re-connect automatically, which it did. The camera alerts my phone when it detects motion. You can replay and then record from the replay. I inserted 128 GB SD card which is essential for this device, or you can subscribe for cloud services. That is how I will manage my backyard! The beauty of this camera is you can navigate via your mobile app almost 350 degree. For the price, I would recommend this camera.

Quality Produc
We decided to fit some wireless cameras around our home and garage, and I did a bit of research being buying the ieGeek products. All I can say is that I am not disappointed. The packaging of the product is of an extremely high quality, the fixings supplied are excellent, and the products are incredibly well made and excellent value for money.
Downloading the app was simple, and the only thing to remember is to switch of your 5G wireless on your router when pairing. It is simple to pair up, and then turn your 5G back on. Image quality is excellent, and all round I’m a pretty happy customer. Highly recommend to any one wanting extra piece of mind when it comes to home security.

Great product, so easy to set up, about 15 mins to sort it with the app.. after the initial 2/3 hrs of charging it out of the box. I’ve bought two one for my home and the other for my caravan 100 miles apart.. works perfectly.
