Adhesion was not the best as a few kept falling off so i decided to use Sellotape to secure them. Used them for indoor Christmas lights – at least it doesn’t damage the furniture which is a positive.

Great for hanging up small decorations and fairy lights! The adhesive is very strong and stays on!

I haven’t taken the clips off the wall yet as I’m afraid they’ll peal some of the wall with them, but due to the transparency, I’m happy leaving them on for next Xmas

Nice little hooks, easily handle 3 strands of normal fairy light cable. Stuck to Plastic door frame and glass with no problem. Not the easiest to remove, but as expected, don’t leave behind any residue.

Used for putting Christmas lights up at the windows. One set in particular are really heavy, like glass balls. Never been able to find anything that would hold them before. These work a treat.

Brilliant little thing. I use this for my Christmas fairy lights and keeping lots of thin cables including charger cables tidy. I’ve even been able to use for my tinsel decorations.

It’s a great little holder that I can use for all sorts and doesn’t damage any surface I put it on.

Recommend this as a handy addition to the adhoc drawer as you never know when it will come in handy.

Perfect little clips that work well on my windows hanging the christmas lights up. As long as the surface is clean before you apply they will hold their place. Also used on painted surfaces, just pull the tap slowly as close to the wall as possible when removing to avoid ripping your wall off! A little over priced as you can only use once, one sticker per a hook. They could do with adding a few extras so you don’t have to bin the plastic hooks once removed.

    They hold

Followed instructions but quite a few didn’t stick to pvc window frame )was using them to hang Christmas net lights) managed to get enough to stick to hold them up but wasted a lot as you don’t any spare stickers…

Not a great amount to say about these. Got to help hide the wires for the Christmas lights, and they work well. Easy to install, nice to know they come off clean and don’t leave a mess. Best of all, well prices.

Great for using on upvc window frames, easy to apply and easily removed. However not so great if you want to use on painted plaster, no adhesion at all.
Upon removing from a papered wall, they ripped off the paper.
I was under the impression they could be used on any clean dry surface but I was wrong.

Used all 40 to hang up a run of 270 Xmas lights around my bedroom and they are excellent! Easy to apply and more importantly, they keep the lights in place (unlike Bluetac). They also blend in to my wall (unlike Bluetac). Purchased another packet because, I was so impressed. I have more lights to hang.

Got these to hang icicles on my balcony railing they work but few keept popping off so even though they are outdoor and ment to sustain certain levels of cold or heat and stick to diffrent materials was disappointing they are holding the lights up no issues what’s so ever it was just that two or three popping off that annoyed me.

I am ALWAYS telling people about command strips etc, they are pure genius! As a woman on my own, I’m hesitant with drilling etc, but since finding these, I haven’t worried. I have put even the heaviest picture up with the command strips and now, have the hooks to finally be able to put outside Christmas lights up.

I love command hooks, I use them for everything. I’ve put up lots of fairy lights ready for Christmas with the clear hooks which are basically invisible- it looks great. Easy to use and easy to remove- just check your following the removal instructions correctly or you will still damage the wall!

These were great. Really useful for hanging decorations, lights etc. My house was newly painted and I didn’t want to damage the walls and these didn’t disappoint.

I don’t understand the bad reviews and comments about it taking paint off walls. I can only think they didn’t follow the instructions on removal. Pull the tape very slowly so the glue stretches away slowly and you don’t damage your paintwork. Just requires a little patience. Would buy again.

Used these to put up Christmas decorations. Did the job better than anything I used before and managed to remove all but one without any damage. Followed the instructions and Christmas lights are up, my 4 year is very happy. I adhered these to the uPVC fascia and have survived the recent winds and heavy rain, hopefully will survive until end of xmas. Command strips are usually happy with smooth surfaces and not rough surfaces so best to find a smooth surface to adhere to rather than fencing or bricks etc.

These little transparent self adhesive clips by 3M are just right for hanging Christmas lights around the outside of your house along the soffit, for example. As they are transparent, after the festivities, the lights can easily be removed and the clips left in place and hardly noticeable, making for easy installation of lights next year. However, pulling on a small tag will enable you to remove the adhesive and therefore the clip from situ, but to re-install the clip you would need to by replacement double sided adhesive tabs. Recommended.

Got mine well it was cheap on a lightning deal just before Christmas. It does work the major downfall is it needs time for the glue to stick properly before connecting something to do.A few didnt stick very well but most did.if they could improve on the time you can use the product quicker it be a great produc

These hooks are brilliant. A much easier and secure way to hang the Christmas lights round the house. In years gone by I used sellotape which was unsatisfactory as it either came unstuck or left marks. These hooks, if put in an unobtrusive place I.e. across the top of window frames, can be left up from one year to the next, but if preferred are easy to remove and leave no marks at all. I’m delighted I discovered these a few years ago. They have been a real boon.

These little hooks have held up my Christmas lights with ease. They have stayed attached and not once have they fallen down. They have even held up my Christmas wreath to the outside glass of my front door. I haven’t attempted removing any yet so can’t say whether my paintwork has survived. I think I will find many uses for these hooks over the coming year.

  82. MaggieHertz says:

It says on the packet to clean the surface with rubbing alcohol. Who keeps that in the house? I wiped down the dirtier surfaces with a damp cloth, seems to work. Fiddly because you have to press each sticky pad onto the surface for 30 seconds, then press the hook onto the pad for 30 seconds, then you’re not supposed to use it for an hour. However, that said, they seem to work well, and they are easy to remove and leave no discernible residue. Just needs patience to set up that I am not well known for 😉

Sticks well, gets off the wall easy and without leaving marks but it hurts like hell when it hits your finger! So make sure you pull them off while holding a towel over your thumb or something. Also the istructions on the packet are missing a step so better watch the video on the post. Either way I will be purchasing again!

I got these clips to hang up some fairy lights in the bedroom of our rental property and they have so far done a really good job, having been up about a month now. The lights are multi strand and so I have been generous with how many clips I used, which I think was necessary as they didn’t feel they could hold too much, but they are also subtle enough that it isn’t an issue. I had a couple not stick and come off very quickly, but the rest have held up so I will blame that on slightly wonky plastering! They didn’t seem to have as much to stick to, so beware that you do need a clean flat surface. Really pleased with them, saved me from using nails, and from a misplaced one seems to come off okay too.

Excellent product. Very neat and handy for hanging small things. I use to hang glass decorations to windows. I also like the clear hook as almost invisible on my window frame!

Very strong adhesive, just be careful putting on because the hook locks to the adhesive strip immediately!

Had to repurchase as I’ve repainted. Full confidence these will stay put another few years. The only criticism is its hit and miss on removal if it’ll take some paint with it. But it’s not an issue for me. Tester pot and job fixed. Benefits outweigh a two min fix job.

I used them to also reroute the lights back up the wall to avoid the radiator. Nice clean finish.

These clips are small, purpose made for clipping one wire securely. As some lights have a double wire it was initially a bit fiddly. But with a little practice it became easy.
First you stick the small double sided “tape” onto the wall then attach the clip. We bought a 40 pack , so we had quite a few to do . Then its a matter of clipping the wire to the clip.
Only one sticker failed to stay in place out of the 40, you do get spare stickers !

I’m pleased with this purchase they are unobtrusive and do the job..

We find them invaluable for hanging up our Christmas lights, and have made the job a doddle. We used to dread putting up all the lights every year as it was such a chore. The clips are almost invisible (depending on where you stick them) and we now keep them in place all year, which makes the job hassle free. But you have the option of removing them (quite easily) if you want to. We highly recommend this product.

These were just what I was looking for for attaching the Christmas lights to the windows, instead of tack or tape. These great little clips just stick on, then you put the wires through the hook. You can’t see them, and they stay in place all Christmas. Got the lights put up so much quicker. I recommend buying these.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI first discovered these hooks when I was admiring how my mum had got her fairy lights to go around her conservatory. I had to buy some and have done the same. I can confirm you can pull hooks off without leaving any mess (I put some hooks in wrong place so had to reposition). I absolutely love them brilliant invention, especially for someone like me who lives in rented accommodation and doesn’t want to leave too many marks or holes in the walls! Very pleased.
