Good product, handy for hanging up light items without putting nails in the walls. Most have removed ok but a couple have pulled paint off the wall when removing. But this is still a better solution than having to fill and paint nail holes

Used to put up lightweight outside led lights. I did not rate removal as I haven’t taken them down – they are transparent so not noticeable and are there fore ready for next time.

These are easy to use and unobtrusive, so we leave them up all year. I have used them on the front door too for my wreath and again it has lasted for over 2 festive seasons. I bought the same product a second time when i needed more as i am well happy with them.

Easy hanging solution.
Kept my fairy lights up over Christmas and New Year. Easy to put up and take down if you follow the instructions. Wish I’d gone for the bigger size though as these were a little fiddly.

Fantastic for attaching Christmas lights to my window. Very adhesive and easy to use. I’ve not removed them as they’re staying up until next year because they’re quite small and discrete. Will never use blue tac again for this!
Good grip but prepare for a bit of fiddly work
These clips are a bit of hard work and it takes a bit of time and practice to stick them on properly.
Some would not adhere so well despite me following the instructions well and wiping the surface off clean beforehand. They simply fell off straight away.
However, the ones that stayed on had a good grip and they stayed in place well even when we put the Christmas lights cable through them around our window frame. They are easy to take off and do not leave any residue.
In general, they do the job ok but be prepared to fiddle a bit with all the small paper stickers you need to take off before you attach them to the surface.

Great for Christmas
I’ve used these for the past two years at Christmas time. They stick to wallpaper, glass, double glazed door/window frames, ceiling pelmet and wood. (Doesn’t rip wallpaper or paint off.)
They are strong enough to hold: string lights, tinsel, light wall hanging and a string of xmas cards.
I’ve used them inside and outside.
Some need to be helped off with your fingernail but that doesn’t bother me because it shows how strong they stick.
Follow the directions and remember to give the required time for the sticky to bond.

We had used suction cups to hang our window lights but got so frustrated when then kept losing adhesion. When we saw these Command decorating clips, we thought we’d give them a try. What a revelation! We’ve left the window clips in situ as they don’t show but the rest have all come off easily and not left any marks. Needless to say we’ve a good supply ready for next Christmas and also for hanging birthday banners etc. Worthy every penny spent.

These are awesome! They stick well and are easy and cleanly removed! Used them for my Christmas lights decoration in my living room. I had fears it would strip off the paint… I actually made a mess on first two attempts to remove, but then I decided to look at the instructions! Doh! Easy and without a residue if you remove them CORRECTLY! No signs of something being hung there! (apart from two holes I made without doing it properly). PLEASE, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!

Adhesion was not the best as a few kept falling off so i decided to use Sellotape to secure them. Used them for indoor Christmas lights – at least it doesn’t damage the furniture which is a positive.

Never let you down get the job done

Some duds, but overall did the job quite nicely.
CLEAN THE SURFACE WITH ALCOHOL AS ADVISED ON THE PACKET. Seriously, I made that mistake when first putting them up and it made a world of difference. There were 2-3 duds I had to replace, but after fixing them my light have been up successfully for about 6-7 days at time of review.
Given there’s really not a lot of non-damaging options for hanging lights on surfaces, the amount you get in a pack and the price, I’d overall reccomend them. Just be prepared to do some prep and possibly replace a few.

Easy to fit and unobtrusive
Note – the instructions tell you to wipe the area with rubbing alcohol before fixing. This is not supplied. (I used surgical spirit but rubbed too hard and took some emulsion paint off so just wipe gently). The hooks come with some small clear plastic strips. On one side of the strip is adhesive for sticking it to the wall and on the other is adhesive onto which you press the hook itself (and hold for 30 seconds). I can’t say how long they will stay up yet but they appear to be working. They are certainly unobtrusive. Based on what I’ve experienced so far, I would recommend them.

i wanted something to put my outdoor xmas lights up so i bought these and they are perfect,easy to use and strong.
Working out how to stick up my Christmas lights and these seemed the only solution. I was rather dubious about their ability to stick especially when exposed to the elements.
I didn’t need to worry.
I stuck them in place and hung my lights a few days later (instructions say leave for 24hrs). They were stuck to fascia boards, bricks and roof tiles.
The hooks have stayed in place not one has come away despite the wind and rain.
I would recommend these to anyone needing to hang lights without guttering.

Followed instructions but quite a few didn’t stick to pvc window frame )was using them to hang Christmas net lights) managed to get enough to stick to hold them up but wasted a lot as you don’t any spare stickers…

I discovered these in a local shop so thought id try them as fairy lights keep falling down with suction cup hooks. They are really really good. any angle upside down horizontal the lights do not fall out. So I bought 2 packs on here for half the price! chuffed to bits.

They also blend in to my wall (unlike Bluetac). Purchased another packet because, I was so impressed. I have more lights to hang.
Do NOT use on papered walls!
Great for using on upvc window frames, easy to apply and easily removed. However not so great if you want to use on painted plaster, no adhesion at all.

I love command hooks, I use them for everything. I’ve put up lots of fairy lights ready for Christmas with the clear hooks which are basically invisible- it looks great. Easy to use and easy to remove- just check your following the removal instructions correctly or you will still damage the wall!

I’ve brought many of these. I use inside for TV, telephone, cable extension cables etc. I have rabbits so cables need to run up the walls and near ceilings as cables are rabbit magnets ! They are clear so less noticeable easy to remove protecting landlords walls ! Depending on thickness of cables can fit up to three in one clip. You can have them sideways or up right making running cables round corners no issue.

These are amazing! If living in a rented residence, these will be your best friend for sure. I used them to put fairy lights all around the walls of my bedroom and they work a charm. Even though they advise to use them on a smooth surface, they seem to work fine on my textured wallpaper. I even tested one just to see if it would stay and see if it could be removed without any damage, and it passed both tests with flying colours. In addition, they are extremely easy to use and that’s saying something because I am usually crap at anything hands on or DIY haha.
