Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIve only just returned back to my human form, it’s been weeks.
Put them on and immediately dropped down to all fours like a werewolf, grew claws and massive fangs. Just come too, covered in blood under a bridge, the beast power must’ve worn off.
On the plus side, the super strength and speed really accelerated my gym progress.
I did find going full beast intensified the diarrhoea though

Again, another fantastic top quality product from a UK seller. Great customer service and support.

    Thanks!

Straps are great! Hard-wearing, comfortable, a real gem of a find for the price.

A nice little touch was the follow-up from the company owner sending me a guide with some tips on how best to use the straps during exercises. Will definitely look out for more of their products.

Do the job, durable, they take a while to loosen up but when they do they are a good product, expect a little digging initially, but hey you’re not at the gym using weight lifting straps because you like things to be easy

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersI’ve been on and off lifting for a couple of years, never used straps before. I decided that having the proper equipment would help me lift that little bit heavier and be less stress on my body. I came across Beast Gear and decided to give them a bit of a punt. So glad I did! The straps are very nicely designed and well made. They feel like they’re going to last, and as for the practical use? Immense. Already upped my plates on my dead lifts just with the addition of the straps (and knee supports which I also purchased), they give me a lot of confidence and grip very well. Don’t hesitate, well worth the purchase.

Overall the product does what its meant to do, and it does it well. The only problem is comfort. In my experience the hem (bit thats sewing back over to create the loop) did dig into my wrist during lifts, I dont know if that was because of inaccurate use or what but it can easily be overcome by either wearing like long sleeves or covering that part of the strap with more padding.

Tending to grip too tight when lifting resulting in forearm tenderness, these help support the weights without gripping, resulting in more comfortable arms! Resul

These straps are a godsend! They have really helped improve my grip and overall strength. I love that the actual wrist is cushioned, so there’s no strain at all when lifting unlike with other non-padded straps. They’re a little bit big for my smaller wrists but this doesn’t cause a hinderance. Love them!

Straps feel great, the guide helped me get them on correctly as I hadn’t used straps before. The rubber on the straps helps get a great grip. Last deadlift session went great with these on to improve grip.

So I have deliberately waited a few weeks to put the straps through plenty of use before putting in review. I can say these are by far the best straps I’ve used to date. Strong stitching , comfortable on the wrist, with plenty of padding. The rubber pimples are very good at providing that extra grip when dead lifting , doing lat pull downs and single arm rows.
Overall I’m very pleased with my purchase.

I’d definitely recommend these lifting straps for anyone looking to get serious with weight lifting, I’ve been using these for a month now and can’t find any downsides to these grips.
Easy to keep in the gym bag and bring out when needed, I’ve noticed big improvements with my deadlifts, lat pull downs and barbell rows.
Wouldn’t recommend for low weights as this can mitigate grip strength improvements but when trying to really push your back muscles there’s no better way than this.

Given 4 stars as have to shave off some of the padding so easy enough to go through the loop to fit tight around my skinny wrist. All in all very strong and really comfortable. Callus are fading (thank god!) and can do more reps and pull / lift heavier.

I’ve bought a number of Beast Gear products over the last few years as my training has progressed and they have never failed and really helped to improve my performance and technique. The personal touch from Ben is a brilliant and often missing from most companies these days who only concentrate on sales. The help sheets he sends as follow up are priceless. Always buy best, always buy Beast.

Fast delivery. Great quality lifting straps. The sticky gel pads make an incredible difference when I’m late into working sets on deadlifts and weighted pull ups and grip starts to fail. Beastgear even provided a paper copy with more info and a follow up email with a pdf with instructions for use which was very handy as I’ve never used straps before but hit a PR for deadlifts that I’d been plateaued at for 3 weeks! Will be using Beastgear again for lifting equipment/accessories.

Only used these straps a couple of times so far so can’t give a full review. However, so far the straps feel like they have good build quality with the addition of padding around the wrists to add comfort during those heavy lifts. The straps also have a sticky texture from the rubber on the strap which provides a good grip. I was initially worried about the length of the straps since you can only wrap them around the barbell a couple of times, however this hasn’t been an issue when in use.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersCame here looking for decent lifting straps, was not disappointed!
I have had a problem fit a while with grip strength while lifting due to a combination of trigger finger and osteoarthritis, since there is nothing wrong with my back or legs I had to find a solution to my weak grip, found these while searching, had good reviews and liked the extra padding. Used them for the first time yesterday and added an extra 10kg to my barbell row and easily kept the reps going, will try the same with deadlifts today but expect similar results.
The straps are easy to use, comfortable and work exactly as advertised, I highly recommend them.
Bonus points for follow up emails from Ben @ beastgear making sure I was satisfied and getting the most out of them.

Overall, after using these and many other similar products, I have come to the conclusion that this product is one of the best lifting straps I have used. Firstly, with the long strap, it allows it to be used with a variety of different uses, due to the fact that you aren’t limited with length, like most straps, whilst providing an abundance of grip. Secondly, the wrist padding provides maximum comfort, allowing the user to concentrate more on the exercise. Finally, the rubber grips located all over the strap, allow to maximise grip and remove the chance of slippage.

Having read the product description and what these straps could offer, I thought I’d give them a try. I had previously used a pair of weight lifting gloves, but with the added support that these straps offer, combined with the extra gripping power, the difference is incredible. These straps are not the first Beast Gear products that I’ve purchased, and given the consistent high quality of their products, I’m sure they won’t be the last.

a very well made, conformable set of straps; which grip the bar well and give excellent support to wrist/fingers – once you have wrapped your head around putting them on – 3 of us brought them on the same day and caused great entertainment in the gym working out which way to put them on – once we mastered the simple things, everything works really well.

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersThis is the first time I have used wraps whilst lifting. I usualy use gym gloves with long wrist straps but I was finding I was struggling to get enough purchase on the bar whilst deadlifting at jeavier weights.

So i decided to buy these wraps. Straight away i noticed the differnce while wearing these I felt I had a better grip on the bar my wrists felt well supported and they have certainly helped me with more heavier lifts.

I dont ware the steaps on lighter lifts I only use them for the more heavier weights or 1 rep maxes. As I dont want to loose all my wrist strength for over relying on the wraps I only use them for hezvier weights.

Since wearing these ive improved my pb deadlift by 20kg very pleased with them. You can tell they are a quality product again I love the cool logo/design on them.

The lifting straps are a great piece of equipment and already helped me deadlift more weight and a few extra sets that normally I couldn’t do due to my grip giving out.

That aside, the seller provides outstanding customer-oriented service. Had a minor problem with my lifting straps where the loop was a bit tight for the rest of the straps to fit through, so I contacted Beast Gear and got a reply the very next morning with an apology for the faulty product and immediately got sent a replacement.

These are my first pair of lifting straps but they are flawless. Once I figured out the right way to wear them and wrap them, I haven’t had any issues.

I got these as I have an issue with my knuckle on my left hand that was stopping me from doing any pull lifts but with these, it doesn’t bother me at all and I can keep lifting while it heals.

Straps look cool and work very well and are well made

I bought these after tearing a callus whilst deadlifting and I needed to continue to lift heavier weight whilst it was healing. I’d never bought lifting straps before and although they take a bit of getting used to, they’re a permanent part of my gym kit.

The straps are comfortable and the quality is great – they’re thick and strong – although there’s a little bit of fraying on the ones I got. It’s not much of an issue although it does tickle from time to time!

Trying straps for first time though I can’t compare those with other brands. I use them mainly for Deadlifts, Romanian Deadlifts and rack pulls. They are pretty comfortable so far, even when the load is pretty heavy (+200kg/420 pounds).

Bought to allow concentrating on form without being distracted by grip issues during deadlifts mainly. Have really made a big difference. When you are confident in no slips, the exercise is much more focused. Definitely a good buy. Are they better than other straps? I don’t know as this is the first set I ever bought but having used them for 10 lift sessions I would definitely buy again as and when they wear out. I don’t expect that to be any time soon though, construction and material are very sturdy.

I try to avoid straps altogether in the gym, but recently I’ve been having tennis and golfer’s elbow so I had to either stop training or go light on pulling exercises. I did both for a while and decided to try some basic straps for deadlifts. It was good and I could go heavy again so the search for more premium straps brought me here.

The reason I bought these in order of importance: review rating, padding, rubber spots for better grip. I was not disappointed. The padding is good, the rubber spots are big and seem durable so I’m sure they will last a long time. They help with the grip and I haven’t felt any slipping while using the straps. The only issue I had was the fold on the inside where there’s stitching – the first pair I had was a little rough and I could feel it on heavy lifts. The owner of Beast Gear, Ben, was very kind and sent me a new pair that are smooth. Communication was a breeze and he replies within 24 hours – awesome!

    5 stars from me!

Had been looking for a new set of wrist straps for the gym. Came across Beast Gear and thought I’d give them a try. Wasn’t disappointed. Well made. Good comfort with the extra padding around the wrist and great grip and purchase of the bar with the non slip grip on the strap. Really helps push out those extra reps on the RDL’s.

Having never used straps before, I was unsure of what to expect. However, I purchased these because my grip was holding me back on some deadlift accessory lifts. The difference is amazing – I didn’t realise how much concentration my failing grip was taking away from nailing the form. (Still doing deadlifts themselves though strapless because I don’t want my grip strength to fall behind any more.)

Can’t speak on durability because I haven’t had them long enough but I would highly recommend these to anyone who feels their grip is holding them back in any of their lifts.

For me, deadlift is the most important exercise of all when I go to the gym and so I decided to try these lifting straps to improve the grip on the barbell. At first I found some difficulties because I was used to the “reverse” grip for the heavy weights, but ultimately I discovered how to use the straps properly and found them to be quite useful.
Overall I can say to be quite satisfied with my purchase: the quality of the material is really good and the straps deliver quite well their function.

Bought these wraps for heavier deadlifting (over 150kg) and some dumbbell excercises (over 50kg). They feel great and support your grip well. Already set a new PR for myself with these (230kg!). The rubber parts help you hold the grip better, but I’m not sure how long the rubber parts will last. So far no wearing has occurred. Recommended!

I bought these as I had reached a plateau with some of my lifts. I’d seen some guys in the gym with straps and although skeptical I thought they can’t all be wrong. Upon opening the package I was blown away by the quality. Clearly they were well put together, and felt solid yet comfortable around my wrists. First session I smashed an extra 20kg on my deadlift, purely due to the additional support around my wrists, where previously it was slipping out of my grip. Furthermore I received an email from the owner making sure they had arrived and I was happy with my purchase. It was a nice touch and it shows Beast Gear are a company who care about their customers. I will certainly be shopping with these guys agai

I bought these as I was looking for something to stop the blisters I get when doing deadlifts. These wrap nicely around the bar and fit snuggly on my wrists allowing me to dead lift for longer. I bought these to help with calf raises, using dumbbells. Using reasonably heavy weights, my grip tended to give out before my calf muscles did. These straps have made all the difference. There’s a shallow learning curve with wrapping the straps around the dumbbells, but a few online videos gave me some useful tips. The gel grips help too. So far, I’ve found them excellent. I can’t attest to their durability though, as I’ve only had them a couple of weeks. Makes leg day almost enjoyable!

I bought these to help out with grip strength on deadlifts. The gloves I had were fine up to a point, as I found that near my 1RM I could not get the grip I wanted. These straps were ideal and gave me the additional grip needed to push to the next level. Highly recommended. Usual caveat – make sure you don’t sacrifice grip strength and use these as and when necessary.

I had surgery on my wrist several years ago which left me with bad nerves and very poor grip in my left hand. Ive been lifting for about a year and my grip has always been the point of failure when it came to any pull lift.

    Not any more.

Quality straps do exactly what they say on the packet.

Only thing i dont like about them is that there are a few rough edges on the padding and seams of the strap where it feels a bit singed. Little bit irritating.

First and foremost I’d like to stress customer service was great. I originally purchased the weight lifting straps which felt more uncomfortable than usual so I gave them back. Ben from Beast Gear explained occasionally you can have manufacturer faults when you make so many but gave me a full refund and an opportunity to try the same item or another at a similar price point free of charge. I went with the core sliders instead which were fine as I’d already ordered the lifting straps from elsewhere.

Only criticism would be that I was inundated with emails about how the product was and how I was getting on. The first email is a nice touch but thereafter it’s a bit much – hence the 4* and not 5*.

I bought this product to help focus on isolating my traps. I found every time I do shrugs with barbell or dumbbell my forearms would fatigue a lot quicker than my traps. I bought the beast gear straps in the hope to relieve this problem and it did just that.

Since using the straps I have been able to increase the weight by 70% and it really isolates and fatigues my traps. Part of the wrap will dig in to my wrist and feel a tiny bit uncomfortable but this is probably to do with the fact that I have small wrists as there is a soft foam padding on the inside, this never phases me as I’m in the zone ready to go.

The design is very good! There is a dotted red rubber grip on inside which wraps around to bar with ensures the straps don’t move. I would 100% recommend this product. I take these with me every time I am doing my traps in the gym. If you want to push yourself that little further on some of your pull exercises then purchase then these will be great for you.

They even sent a little guide to help you use the straps and when you should/shouldn’t use them.

I don’t usually write reviews but I felt I had to with this as the straps were really good and customer service you brilliant to.

The extra grip from the lettering on the straps is a bonus and the extra padding on the wrist part of each strap really helps when it comes to comfort on those heavy sets. No more red wrists! Great straps, from a very good small independent manufacturer. Don’t let that put you off though. They are incredibly high quality and provide great grip! I’m barely holding the bar with them on and find my entire focus is on my drive and push with legs and back. The actual grip becomes an afterthought. Cannot praise them enough, the rubber outside grip on them, which admittedly does seem gimmicky at first, genuinely has a huge help! Don’t buy any other straps get these.

After, saw improvement days after, being able to lift 180KG just from the fact My wrists where more supported. Perfect, very happy. I tried a friend’s pair before I bought these, and he lifts very, very heavy, with these straps, for a long time. I knew they are long lasting and heavy duty before buying. These are very comfortable and easy to use. I have just started lifting heavy and my personal trainer recomended getting lifting straps. Based on other reviews on here, I chose these and i am not disappointed. They are amazing, grip the bar really well, are good quality and very comfortable. Do exactly what they are meant to. Been looking at other items that beast gear offer and I will definitely be ordering from them again. Very quick delivery and great customer service.

Took these for a spin today.
I am not normally a fan of standard straps in the gym and prefer figure of 8 for speed. Boy was I not disappointed.
    Quality is superb.
    Solid stitching
    All out solid feel.

Racked up the bar and away I went.
Grip felt secure and very very comfortable up to 180KG (didn’t go past there today)
Will not go back to the figure of 8s now.

I was resistent to purchasing these as I didn’t want to be “all the gear with no idea” guy. But for back and squat work my weak grip was limiting my capability. So while I only use these for a couple particular exercises they’ve allowed me to increase the weight I use on those exercises dramatically and therefore allow me to move things forward while improving my grip with other exercises. Well worth the purchase.

I am fairly new to lifting, and I was progressing well until my grip started failing. My PT lent me some of his lifting straps and it made such a difference.
I decided to buy some myself and am so happy with my purchase, it really helps me. I have used them for bar and dumbbell deadlifts so far but he has suggested I use them with any kind of pulling so I will put them to the test for that also.
    Very pleased.

Golden Review Award: 23 From Our UsersI lost my original material straps I had for about 5 years, so thought I would upgrade to something better and I am not disappointed.

I’ve been training regularly for 8 years now and mainly use these just for deadlifting once a week, not huge numbers, but I have had 160kg on the bar with these so far and no issues.

The additional padding makes them sit more comfortably on the wrist, extra grippy from the gel sports on the straps and they work very well for their intended purpose.

I feel they have got better as I continue to use them and the material breaks in, so if you aren’t happy with them first I suggest you stick with them and the material will soften.

A nice touch with the follow up service from the team at BeastGear who sent multiple messages to ensure I was happy with the product. These guys know how to do online retail, keep up the good work!

These are excellent and really work. First session of dead-lifting with these, i didn’t use them until the point I had felt my grip failed. Once I had them in place I straight away doubled the reps at that weight and went 10% higher (only 2 reps but hey!). I also used them for heavy dumbbell lunges at the end of a workout when my grip was pretty much done.

I would not suggest using these for everything but at the extremes of your grip they will allow you to lift more and push further. Seem good quality, arrived quickly and the instructions online are OK…but they aren’t that hard to figure out anyway.

Absolutely amazing product. I have been able to use these weight lifting straps to lift dumbbells over twice as heavy as normal. This was not previously possible due to a lack of muscle strength in my wrists and poor grip. This product completely eliminates this issue and I will be frequently training with these straps to further develop my upper body strength. Really great company, personal and very friendly. Would definitely recommend!

I can’t recommend these enough. They’re a great tool to have in the gym when it comes to lifts like shrugs and deadlifts, were typically your grip will go and the bar drops before you’re ready to stop. Grips/forearms are still important enough to need attention, but when you want to isolate the right muscle groups and do so with a sturdy, solid grip that feels comfortable (and safe!) on the wrist, these are the answer. I’ll be looking at the other stuff beast gear sell, impressed with the quality too.

I have used these every 2-3 weeks or so for about 5 months now. The straps themselves are super comfortable because of the gel, something most other brands don’t have, and have barely lost their quality. These were especially helpful for times when my calluses stung too much or when I needed to push through a plateau. It’s also incredibly helpful that the seller emailed a pdf document explaining how to properly use these for maximum gain.
    Great product!

First time buyer of lifting straps and can say I am very lucky to have found a product with this quality and design. The product works perfectly and has allowed me to reach a new level in strength as I am able to pick up a higher weight without losing grip. Spent 2 weeks training before I wrote this and so I’ve had time to really think about it. Would highly recommend!

I have had a couple different tulles of straps from different companies. I can’t say anything on the longevity of this product as I have only used them once but first impression is the are a lot more comfortable on the wrists and have a lot more grip on the bar then my current ones. Great addition to anyone’s gym bag!

I have used various versions/makes of lifting straps but these out do the rest. Good quality material, good length and the rubber gripping detail really work. Once I purchased the straps the company emailed me with helpful instructions of how to best use/fit them which was brilliant. highly recommend these.

Though I’m trying to cut down on my use of wrist straps and improve grip strength, these help when the weight is just too much and you end up focusing on not letting go of the bar instead of good form/posture ie. during DL/rack pulls.

I’ve used various wrist straps in the past and these are among the best.

Take it from someone with experience – if it’s decent weight lifting straps you’re after, they’re well worth the price!!

I’ve only used them a little on my PR and for lifts in which my grip strength fail but they have worked perfectly every time. They have allowed me to deadlift 140KG for the first time and thanks to the guide videos using them was easy, having never actually owned or touched a pair of lifting straps before. I’d recommend them to anyone that wants to push themselves past their own grip strength. I’ve found them useful for non-conventional lifts too such as hanging leg raises that become difficult due to my gyms equipment and my own straps.

    Overall a great product!

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersI brought these having brought other weightlifting straps, looking at the design they looked good so I thought I would give them a try, I have brought cheaper ones before now and they just break or the material rips into your skin.

When these came I was really pleased with the material but the added thought that had gone into the design, so the writing on the straps is like a rubber compound that adds grip to the bar but also whilst wearing to ensure the straps stay tight in place. Really pleased with this item, will be buying again when these wear out!

Let me first say that all of the reviews of this product do it justice. I was skeptical whether the reviews on this product were genuine at first due to the overwhelmingly high average rating, but it looks like the product is as good as they say. I have been going to the gym consistently for over a year now and I started getting to the point where my lifts were being limited by my grip strength and not the capability of the target muscles – especially dead lifts and bent-over rows.

I don’t need to explain what this product does as i’m sure if you’re searching for it you already know what they do.
The strap length is long enough to wrap around the bar at least twice, for me it edges on 3 wraparounds as my wrists are very small for a male (~15cm circumference). This is another good point to make: the straps work fine on small wrists which in my experience is often an issue with other brands.

Overall, the design is nice, the red gel grips look very good and seem very durable and definitely make the grip more comfortable and stable. The strap may feel a bit sharp on the edge at first but it faded after the first wear, i guess it’s just from the machine cutting the cushioning, but a little bit of rubbing and it smoothed right out. I’m going to be looking for a weightlifting belt soon and Beast Gear’s will be the one I go for – I have good confidence in this brand where quality is very important when it comes to your safety in the gym.

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersDelivery:
Ordered the product quite late on Wednesday and it arrived around 9 am the following morning, which was a huge help as I had a deadlift meet that afternoon and it gave me enough time to accustom myself to the product.

    Product:
    Look and Feel:
The product looks awesome with that gorilla logo and is made of very high quality and sturdy material. It feels very stable when it’s around your wrist and the padding on the wrist makes it so much more comfortable, especially when dealing with heavy loads.

    Function:
I am a power-lifter and tend to go on the heavy side of weights when rowing or dead-lifting (all variations). I have used many a strap in my life but they either tend to wear off easily over time and/or do not provide support to the wrist or adequate grip. These straps on the other hand seem like they will last absolute ages given the quality of the material being supreme. Additionally, the gel flex grips makes it that much easier to hold onto the weight without it slipping off your grip which is paramount when dead-lifting (no point letting a weak grip compromise the posterior chain development. I would of course recommend grip training in any event). I could not be happier with the product and look forward to ordering other products from Beast Gear as I am sure they’ll all be of the same great quality as these straps.

    HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Had never used lifting straps before , having tested these this week I’m amazed at how comfortable and easy to use they are. They also take your mind off the barbell sliding from your fingers ( especially in my hot home gym with sweaty hands ).Would highly recommend.

gone through a fair amount of straps over the years from different manufacturers. i have to say these are right up there with the best. great product, comfortable on the wrist when lifting a lot of weight and i particularly like the extra grip from the imprinted rubber logo running down the length of the strap. thoroughly recommend this product to the serious lifters out there.

I sadly lost my pair after a few weeks so brought a cheap pair to save spending again. This made me realise how good these straps actually are. The cheap pair ripped into my skin where as these have a supporting foam to prevent that. The grip on these is also excellent and never pulls away unlike the others. Ordered again and won’t be considering any others.

I’ve had bigger known branded straps before and found they’re too short to wrap around a bar more than once. These can wrap 3 times if you need it! Perfect!

A little rough on the inside wrist but I’m hoping they’re just new and need a bit of “breaking in”.

The seller also sent some helpful info on safety and how they’re best to be used!

Would recommend this product and company.

Golden Review Award: 26 From Our UsersLove these.
Been going to the gym for over 2 years and made significant gains, but some exercises such as deadlifts, dumbbell bent over row, lat machine, etc, I felt I couldn’t target the intended muscles well enough because my grip would fail before those muscles did.
These straps help a lot. The gel spots also add a bit more grip.

The downside is it improves grip so much, that you need to consciously remind yourself to do as much weight as you can without the straps, to naturally increase your grip gradually.

Really sturdy and comfortable – really like the grip with these. My only complaint – and this is because I have ridiculously small wrists (I’m only 150cm tall, <52kg lifter) - is that the loop doesn't quite go as small as I would like because the foam padding stops it passing through the loop. Like I say, this is because I am at the very end of the range and this would not be an issue for the average person. I can still use them and have been doing so - and really liking them.

Work well and are comfortable. Lately I have been struggling with increasing the weight with my deadlift, this being down to the bar unraveling my grip. I gave the hook grip a go but was not having success with it. I bought these straps and was instantly able to add more weight. Wouldn’t recommend the yse if straps if you are just starting to lift, I think you would miss out on developing grip strength.

In summary, great product and very versatile.

Golden Review Award: 23 From Our UsersAs with any strap, these will make you lift more.
I’ve added 10kg to my deadlifts so far which goes to show I had it in me and my grip failed me.
What I have also noticed immediately is my grip is no longer improving to suit, as such I’ve implemented hanging and farmer walks in my sets to suppliment.

To comment on the strap, it’s comfortable, but be aware that despite any level of padding, a large weight dangling from your wrist will strain your skin and cause mild discomfort.

I hasten to add that the padding on these does go a long way to make lifting comfortable however.

Long story short, great to progress and get those extra reps, but make sure you train grip without them!

These are really good quality straps, and I would recommend them for most people. However, as a very small female with tiny wrists, the width of the gel padding means that they don’t seem to tighten around my wrists enough so unfortunately I can’t use them. I have other straps that work just fine, but these just don’t work for my build. If you have very small wrists like me then I’d give these a miss, otherwise I’d recommend!

I don’t need wrist wraps myself, but my… friend, he uses them regularly and thinks they’re ideal for his deadlifts and rows. the grip’s decent, the straps are long enough for two solid windings around an Oly bar and the padding absorbs sweat almost too well. I’m lucky I don’t need them – good genetics i guess – but my friend really appreciates the quality.

  95. Michael Hicks says:

After a couple uses during sessions I’ve gotten on really well with the straps, they were far more comfortable to use than a previous pair which didn’t have cushioning from AQF which would dig into my wrists and leave them irritated no matter what. They were overall better than a previous pair of myprotien cushioned ones, both in grip and cushioning that they provided. The gel greatly helped reduce the strain off my wrists as I was able to maintain a better grip, which has been an issue recently with heavier lifts. they feel like they have a nice quality to them as well.

Seller provided a quick help guide as well and was happy to help with any questions or advice I may need regarding routines.

Very nice straps, managed PRs on rack lift and other pull movements I was struggling with because of my weak grip and forearms.
Not giving it five stars just because they are a bit big for my wrists so I cannot get them to be tight enough and it hurts my skin a bit. Other than then, would highly recommend, perfect length and they look great! Also, great customer service from Beast Gear staff on Instagram!

Golden Review Award: 82 From Our UsersI have been using these straps for about a week now and I love them.
I only use them for dead lifts and only for my max weight sets and not every rep. I was struggling to increase my dead lift weight even though my legs and back could definitely manage more because I just couldn’t hold on to the bar for more than 2 reps at a time.
These straps have completely solved the problem and I can now work on my grip strength without neglecting my lifts.
Incase it helps anyone I’m 5’3 woman with the tiniest of wrists and have no problem with the size of the straps, they are easy to use and wrap around bars only using the hand they’re attached to.

The item came very quick from the seller. Upon recieving the item, the quality is of a high standard and comfortable around the wrists which is reassuring when lifting heavy at the gym. Seller contacted me as a thank you for purchasing and if there were any issues to email them directly. Got to say, for a small company the attention to customer service is top notch and I will be coming back for more gear in the near future. Highly recommended. Many thanks. 🙂

Golden Review Award: 26 From Our UsersWhen the lift and weight calls for it, I use straps when my grip limits my ability to overload my muscles when performing certain exercises.

You know when a piece of kit is good when your gym buddies don’t want to give back what you have loaned them. These lifting starps were just that bit of kit.

Whilst I keep a selection of lifting straps in my bags I have been interested in giving this type, with silicon grips, a go.The overall quality of these is pretty good. Given the use, some straps fray at the edges and are destined for the bin after a while. The edges of the tight cotton weave are neatly finished so there should be hardly no fraying. I like that the neoprene padding is fixed all around the edges rather than just at the ends, this gives me a more solid fit plus stop any potential of the padding coming away.

The dotted silicon grip actually works pretty good and certainly gives extra confidence when lifting big. Those that I have loaned the straps to, including myself, notice the difference between using standard cottons straps against this silicon version. Once wound on tight the straps help give the lift a bit more drive by taking away the worry of losing any grip.

Overall a decent set of straps that work pretty well when lifting big.
