Excellent quality
have been looking for a good pair of lifting straps for a while now, and after reading through all the reviews and seeing most were majority, I decided to order them and was so glad I did. I tend to struggle with my grip a lot, and although I can go heavier, my grip deters me, but these are perfect for me. I tried them out the other day and got got an extra 20kg on my deadlift! Excellent quality, super happy customer 🙂
Great straps and phenomenal customer service
I really like these straps; they feel thick and quite robust, and they’ve definitely helped on my deadlift. The thing that really stands out is the customer service though. I ordered a pair, and the pair that came had some fraying on it, and so I returned it when I saw that.
After this, I get a card sent to me in the mail, personally apologising for this; Ben from Beastgear emails me and talks through what the issue with the straps were and then sends me a replacement pair. The level of customer interaction is excellent, and it’s very clear that they care about their customers. Would strongly recommend to anyone.

Best Straps I've used
From the start, you can see that the straps are high quality. They are made from some heavy duty fabric, but they don’t feel bulky or heavy. They feel like they are made to last!
The comfort is verry nice too. I’ve used other straps in the past that dont have padding in them, and always leave the gym with marks on my wrists. With these, the padding makes sure that your wrists are protected from the straps.
The grip on them is also a nice touch. Having looked through the free user guide supllied, i went with the ‘grip facing the hands option’. This gives me confidence when lifting with sweaty hands!
Now that we have the fuctionality out of the way, let me just focus on the look! I opted for the red and black option, and they definetly look the part.
These are made by a small uk business, but the quality shows experiance and knowlage in the product.
Personal Touch/Great straps
(Edit): Incredible, added 15KG to my deadlift straight away first use, impossible to lose grip with these things the weight goes straight up, not it’s just up to me to get stronger to up the weight. I used chalk at the same time as using these and the bar flew straight up. Won’t be deadlifting again without these unless I want to train my grip strength! Really comfortable too, I’ve never used another pair but I don’t think I ever will honestly.
Bought these for my deadlifts in the gym and was pretty confused on how it worked, went to look it up online and then noticed I had an email. A lovely email explaining exactly how to use them in great detail. Actually put a smile on my face. Super nice personal touch and made me instantly want to go and 5 star review these. Great, easy to use straps
I ordered these straps about 5 months ago and have been using twice weekly since. They’re really comfortable, easy to use and have excellent grip. They are the first lifting straps I’ve used and have made a huge difference to my ease of doing deadlifts and other weighted movements with heavy weights. They came with clear instructions on how to use and have excellent grip. Would recommend.

But regardless, they do their job. I put them on, grab the weight and it definitely helps. I use them whenever I do back. I don’t really see how you can use them on anything besides pulling movements.

These are great straps which make deadlifting a pleasure. The written instructions provided by way of website link are great as I had never used straps before and so needed some guidance. After 6 or so uses they have held up well with gel grips staying comfortable.

Easy to use, very comfortable and very secure grip. These have allowed me to really push my leg training where I had been limited by grip strength previously. It feels goooooood.

Great for grip strength weakness
I use these at the gym all the time for my deadlifts and rack pulls. They are excellent. I have nerve damage so weakness in my right hand and these have helped me to increase the weight without worrying about my grip strength.

Rarely write a review, but am very impressed by both the product and service. Cannot speak to durability as not used frequently enough, but I am initially very pleased with these straps. Personally I required straps to help with grip failure on deadlift support exercises like above the knee rack pulls. For my use, as an early intermediate lifter, they are excellent.

I have tiny hands and palms and I havent been able to improve or increase weights on my deadlifts in a while bcuz of my grip but these really helped! Not the most comfortable for small wrists but I don’t mind them too much (they dont leave bruises or anything). I would definitely recommend!

Great product, I just tried it yesterday in the gym with a deadlift and I can’t be happier. Thanks to these straps, I can hold the bar much better and I’ve improved my posture as well (because I don’t have to worry about holding the bar and can focus in doing the movement well). They seem a great quality product and hopefully will last long time before buying new ones.

Great straps IF you don't have small wrists
Great quality product and I can see if I could get them tight these would be a great strap but sadly due to small thing wrists and the padding band means the tightest I can get them to without a lot of faffing is to the point the padding starts which is slightly too loose for me. I don’t lift mega weight though so will probably swap them with another lifter who has normal straps.

Great quality and very reasonably priced straps
I’m using a lifting programme that includes Romanian deadlifts. As the weight went up, my grip was letting me down after 4 or 5 reps. I bought a pair of these straps and they have helped enormously. Within a week I’d added 5kgs.
They are comfortable – well padded across the back of the hand, and the straps are sturdy. I’ve only been using them for a few weeks, and only for deads and single arm rows, but there’s no sign of wear and tear at all. You get user instructions (I used the You Tube video) which for a newcomer like me, were really clear. Good after service too. Recommended.

Had previously bought a cheap pair of wrist wraps which were causing friction on my wrists when deadlifting. These are padded and so much more comfortable to use. The tacky parts to provide extra grip are quite useful and provide extra grip. If anything it’s hard to let go of the bar when you’re done!

Put them on and immediately dropped down to all fours like a werewolf, grew claws and massive fangs. Just come too, covered in blood under a bridge, the beast power must’ve worn off.
On the plus side, the super strength and speed really accelerated my gym progress.

Textured wrap gives fantastic bar grip
The straps overall seem to be of very good quality from such a small seller. While I managed to injure a wrist only a week after buying the straps, what little time I had spent with them was pretty good. I hit monstrous PBs with shrugs, dead and calf raises, all of which were limited by poor grip strength. The gel texture actually gave me a slight difficulty in getting myself unhooked from the bar, but I can’t really call that a complaint. Fantastic produc

A nice little touch was the follow-up from the company owner sending me a guide with some tips on how best to use the straps during exercises. Will definitely look out for more of their products.

Do the job, durable, they take a while to loosen up but when they do they are a good product, expect a little digging initially, but hey you’re not at the gym using weight lifting straps because you like things to be easy

I’ve been on and off lifting for a couple of years, never used straps before. I decided that having the proper equipment would help me lift that little bit heavier and be less stress on my body. I came across Beast Gear and decided to give them a bit of a punt. So glad I did! The straps are very nicely designed and well made. They feel like they’re going to last, and as for the practical use? Immense. Already upped my plates on my dead lifts just with the addition of the straps (and knee supports which I also purchased), they give me a lot of confidence and grip very well. Don’t hesitate, well worth the purchase.

In my experience the hem (bit thats sewing back over to create the loop) did dig into my wrist during lifts, I dont know if that was because of inaccurate use or what but it can easily be overcome by either wearing like long sleeves or covering that part of the strap with more padding.

These straps are a godsend! They have really helped improve my grip and overall strength. I love that the actual wrist is cushioned, so there’s no strain at all when lifting unlike with other non-padded straps. They’re a little bit big for my smaller wrists but this doesn’t cause a hinderance. Love them!

Great straps, immediate improvement on deadlif
Straps feel great, the guide helped me get them on correctly as I hadn’t used straps before. The rubber on the straps helps get a great grip. Last deadlift session went great with these on to improve grip.

So I have deliberately waited a few weeks to put the straps through plenty of use before putting in review. I can say these are by far the best straps I’ve used to date. Strong stitching , comfortable on the wrist, with plenty of padding. The rubber pimples are very good at providing that extra grip when dead lifting , doing lat pull downs and single arm rows.
Overall I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Easy to keep in the gym bag and bring out when needed, I’ve noticed big improvements with my deadlifts, lat pull downs and barbell rows.
Wouldn’t recommend for low weights as this can mitigate grip strength improvements but when trying to really push your back muscles there’s no better way than this.

Best lifting straps!
Fast delivery. Great quality lifting straps. The sticky gel pads make an incredible difference when I’m late into working sets on deadlifts and weighted pull ups and grip starts to fail. Beastgear even provided a paper copy with more info and a follow up email with a pdf with instructions for use which was very handy as I’ve never used straps before but hit a PR for deadlifts that I’d been plateaued at for 3 weeks! Will be using Beastgear again for lifting equipment/accessories.

Came here looking for decent lifting straps, was not disappointed!
I have had a problem fit a while with grip strength while lifting due to a combination of trigger finger and osteoarthritis, since there is nothing wrong with my back or legs I had to find a solution to my weak grip, found these while searching, had good reviews and liked the extra padding. Used them for the first time yesterday and added an extra 10kg to my barbell row and easily kept the reps going, will try the same with deadlifts today but expect similar results.
The straps are easy to use, comfortable and work exactly as advertised, I highly recommend them.
Bonus points for follow up emails from Ben @ beastgear making sure I was satisfied and getting the most out of them.

Overall, after using these and many other similar products, I have come to the conclusion that this product is one of the best lifting straps I have used. Firstly, with the long strap, it allows it to be used with a variety of different uses, due to the fact that you aren’t limited with length, like most straps, whilst providing an abundance of grip. Secondly, the wrist padding provides maximum comfort, allowing the user to concentrate more on the exercise. Finally, the rubber grips located all over the strap, allow to maximise grip and remove the chance of slippage.

once you wrap your head around putting them on, supporting your wrist/hands is easy.
a very well made, conformable set of straps; which grip the bar well and give excellent support to wrist/fingers – once you have wrapped your head around putting them on – 3 of us brought them on the same day and caused great entertainment in the gym working out which way to put them on – once we mastered the simple things, everything works really well.
This is the first time I have used wraps whilst lifting. I usualy use gym gloves with long wrist straps but I was finding I was struggling to get enough purchase on the bar whilst deadlifting at jeavier weights.
So i decided to buy these wraps. Straight away i noticed the differnce while wearing these I felt I had a better grip on the bar my wrists felt well supported and they have certainly helped me with more heavier lifts.
I dont ware the steaps on lighter lifts I only use them for the more heavier weights or 1 rep maxes. As I dont want to loose all my wrist strength for over relying on the wraps I only use them for hezvier weights.
Since wearing these ive improved my pb deadlift by 20kg very pleased with them. You can tell they are a quality product again I love the cool logo/design on them.

The lifting straps are a great piece of equipment and already helped me deadlift more weight and a few extra sets that normally I couldn’t do due to my grip giving out.
That aside, the seller provides outstanding customer-oriented service. Had a minor problem with my lifting straps where the loop was a bit tight for the rest of the straps to fit through, so I contacted Beast Gear and got a reply the very next morning with an apology for the faulty product and immediately got sent a replacement.
Great Straps
These are my first pair of lifting straps but they are flawless. Once I figured out the right way to wear them and wrap them, I haven’t had any issues.
I got these as I have an issue with my knuckle on my left hand that was stopping me from doing any pull lifts but with these, it doesn’t bother me at all and I can keep lifting while it heals.

I bought these after tearing a callus whilst deadlifting and I needed to continue to lift heavier weight whilst it was healing. I’d never bought lifting straps before and although they take a bit of getting used to, they’re a permanent part of my gym kit.
The straps are comfortable and the quality is great – they’re thick and strong – although there’s a little bit of fraying on the ones I got. It’s not much of an issue although it does tickle from time to time!

Lifting heavy it can be a worry if straps , belts ect cant handle the stress and fails but these seem to do the job well so far, upping my deadlift weight all the time and the straps seem to keep up.

The best straps I have used
I try to avoid straps altogether in the gym, but recently I’ve been having tennis and golfer’s elbow so I had to either stop training or go light on pulling exercises. I did both for a while and decided to try some basic straps for deadlifts. It was good and I could go heavy again so the search for more premium straps brought me here.
The reason I bought these in order of importance: review rating, padding, rubber spots for better grip. I was not disappointed. The padding is good, the rubber spots are big and seem durable so I’m sure they will last a long time. They help with the grip and I haven’t felt any slipping while using the straps. The only issue I had was the fold on the inside where there’s stitching – the first pair I had was a little rough and I could feel it on heavy lifts. The owner of Beast Gear, Ben, was very kind and sent me a new pair that are smooth. Communication was a breeze and he replies within 24 hours – awesome!

Good comfort with the extra padding around the wrist and great grip and purchase of the bar with the non slip grip on the strap. Really helps push out those extra reps on the RDL’s.
Way more useful than expected
Having never used straps before, I was unsure of what to expect. However, I purchased these because my grip was holding me back on some deadlift accessory lifts. The difference is amazing – I didn’t realise how much concentration my failing grip was taking away from nailing the form. (Still doing deadlifts themselves though strapless because I don’t want my grip strength to fall behind any more.)
Can’t speak on durability because I haven’t had them long enough but I would highly recommend these to anyone who feels their grip is holding them back in any of their lifts.

Good comfort with the extra padding around the wrist and great grip and purchase of the bar with the non slip grip on the strap. Really helps push out those extra reps on the RDL’s.
Way more useful than expected
Having never used straps before, I was unsure of what to expect. However, I purchased these because my grip was holding me back on some deadlift accessory lifts. The difference is amazing – I didn’t realise how much concentration my failing grip was taking away from nailing the form. (Still doing deadlifts themselves though strapless because I don’t want my grip strength to fall behind any more.)
Can’t speak on durability because I haven’t had them long enough but I would highly recommend these to anyone who feels their grip is holding them back in any of their lifts.
One rep max smashed
I had hit a plateau with my one rep max on the deadlift, it was my grip strength that was leaving me down. The straps helped me smash my one rep max. The straps are of solid construction and are comfortable, as comfortable as you can be when deadlifting.

Really comfortable
The straps are awesome, they are really comfortable and the rubber holds up great, so far I can’t see any wear or tear.
At arrival there were some loose stitching or threads but just cut or burn em’ off easy fix and haven’t seen any since.

Good quality produc
For me, deadlift is the most important exercise of all when I go to the gym and so I decided to try these lifting straps to improve the grip on the barbell. At first I found some difficulties because I was used to the “reverse” grip for the heavy weights, but ultimately I discovered how to use the straps properly and found them to be quite useful.
Overall I can say to be quite satisfied with my purchase: the quality of the material is really good and the straps deliver quite well their function.

The rubber parts help you hold the grip better, but I’m not sure how long the rubber parts will last. So far no wearing has occurred. Recommended!

Great quality product, great service and excellent value
I bought these as I had reached a plateau with some of my lifts. I’d seen some guys in the gym with straps and although skeptical I thought they can’t all be wrong. Upon opening the package I was blown away by the quality. Clearly they were well put together, and felt solid yet comfortable around my wrists. First session I smashed an extra 20kg on my deadlift, purely due to the additional support around my wrists, where previously it was slipping out of my grip. I bought these as I was looking for something to stop the blisters I get when doing deadlifts. These wrap nicely around the bar and fit snuggly on my wrists allowing me to dead lift for longer. Previously would always get blisters on my hands after one set! They arrived promptly and a user guide comes with it via email. Great service!

Get a grip!
I bought these to help with calf raises, using dumbbells. Using reasonably heavy weights, my grip tended to give out before my calf muscles did. These straps have made all the difference. There’s a shallow learning curve with wrapping the straps around the dumbbells, but a few online videos gave me some useful tips. The gel grips help too. So far, I’ve found them excellent. I can’t attest to their durability though, as I’ve only had them a couple of weeks. Makes leg day almost enjoyable!

Usual caveat – make sure you don’t sacrifice grip strength and use these as and when necessary.

These bad boys are comfy to use and really sturdy. By far the best straps i’ve used so far. It increases your tension & grip. You can really concentrate on working out the specific muscle group you are trying to target and helps you to hit your PB instead of worrying of loosing grip and eventually letting go. Highly recommend it.
