Buy it! Won’t regret i
Only bought this as I had amazon voucher as I never believed that this would work and was curious if it would make my life easier BUT! Definitely worth buying and the price, my family doesn’t enjoy ironing and this is just amazing little helper : ) The only thing I would advise is to put your garment against the hard surface/ on the bed.

Really fun to use and does a great job! A shirt sized garment should take around 3-5 minutes! Only problem is the water reservoir is quite small so will need frequent refilling after 2 or 3 medium sized garments.

Delivers perfectly, as expected from Philips.
Good sized head for steaming. Works very well on clothes and uphostery – only issue I found was needing torefill the water reservoir relatively frequently. But definitely recommend it.

It’s too heavy by far to travel with. The water tanks quite small so takes a lot of refilling but it does, at least, heat up again quickly. Sleek design. Not as effective at getting out creases as you’d like or expect. I was only doing thin voile curtains and it took forever and didn’t get all the creases out .
Convenient and efficie
I used to hate ironing until I tried this same model during a stay at a hotel and fell in love with how convenient it was to use on the go.
The water tank will last for 2 garments at a time, but it’s very easy to refill it and keep using it if needed. I use it to iron what am going to wear the next day. It is also great to freshen up day-old clothes.
The heated plate can also be used to apply direct heat (I used it to attach fusible bonding tape to a garment that needed repair. It worked perfectly).
I bought my steamer from amazon warehouse. The product was classed as Used – Like new and came in perfect condition.

Easy to use, does its job well. Not for an (even small) pile of laundry – you can only do 1-3 things quickly before you go out, which is exactly what I need it for.

This is amazing. Purchased for family member who is uses a wheelchair so finds it difficult to manoeuvre and set up an ironing board. They find this so easy to use. It works really well, very impressed.

Excellent easy to use handy when on the go removes bacteria and odour smell from draws on clothes. Give your clothes a few minutes to dry off before putting on as steam makes them slightly damp but dried fairly quickly

item is a little large for purely travel purpose but great for de-wrinklng items at home., water reservoir needs to be help in position during use, possibly asa safety feature but that’s a little annoying

It’s also great for refreshing items you wash less often or usually dry clean such as jackets & coats.

Personally i probably wouldn’t take this travelling as it a substantial size, although you could it’s definitely not massive.
Does have a small water tank on it so depending on how much attention your garment needs 2-3 refills will be required. I find this isn’t a problem.
This wee steamer won’t leave any water marks on your clothes & overall i am very pleased with my purchase & wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I do find when steaming larger items like blazers, coats or even items which are heavily creased the water reservoir runs empty pretty quickly and will need frequently re-filling.

I bought 3 of these items. Thought I was taking s risk as I’d never used one before. But as I wanted to treat my daughter who was going on a separate holiday to me, I risked it.

No need of ironing but i could not replace an iron completely because they’re just different. Easy and fast for using it. Dislike the water is finishing very quickly.
You need this stream for your morning rush
Excellent solution for those who do not like ironing and are looking for a quick option for a morning rush! We can’t imagine our daily routines without this stream. There is only one area for an improvement which is a better solution needed for a water tank whish is a bit too loose and can slide off easily.

What a shame about the water tank... and the amount of re-filling
This is a fabulous product, great for steaming my husbands Golf shirts, the handheld device is easy to use, and does a really good job. What lets it down is the amount of water the tank holds. From one fill I manage to do one shirt and the collar of the next, but then have to re-fill… and with that re-fill comes having to wait for the device to get going again. This is a real shame, but again the product is good, Philips …. why is the water tank so small?

Wouldn’t replace a traditional iron but perfect for going over school uniforms, difficult to iron items and generally refreshing clothes before wearing. So quick & easy to use and needing to refill after every 2 or 3 garments is really not a problem.
Highly recommend this product, especially if you travel often or if, like me, you have very little time to tackle ironing!

For those who think this is enough tonreplace an iron, move along. However I travel a lot in business and this little guy makes my shirts and trousers look much better than before and I can use it in a fraction of time comparing with ironing…the water reservoir is not that big but I still manage tondo the whole outfit on a charge depending on the shirt thickness…recommend because it’s practical and compact less annoying than ironing.

I hate ironing its the last on my list of ”to do” jobs This has changed my life! I work closely to a sink and a socket and the water chamber does need refilling but it reduces my ironing load very quickly. I use it on knitwear & jersey. Very Happy

I have only used once today but seems to be good! Steamed a shirt very easily although did run out of water quickly
After purchasing this, i think i use the iron about 90% less then i use to. I wear a lot of clothes that do not require perfect lines from ironing, i.e. smart suit shirts. For when i do, i have to use an iron, all other times to get rid of creases and not look like it has just come out of the washing machine, i use this! Just wish i bought this years earlier. The only downside to this is that the water does run out after 2 items but it takes about 1 min to refill and start again.

I love a good handheld steam iron, particularly because I’m bad at normal ironing. Takes no more than 5 minutes to go over a piece of clothing then pop it on and you’re ready to go! Feels nice in your hand. Water compartment isn’t big enough. Does a great job and is very fast.
Great product, very easy to use, not sure about the travelling bit. It’s not cordless and on the heavier side. Other minor issue is that the water container is a bit small. So keep a bottle near for topping up. Otherwise can’t fault it!
I bought this on a whim, seduced by an ad with a video from Phillips on Facebook. I hate ironing with a passion, but also can’t stand creased clothes and bedlinen, so thought this might solve all my problems. After I ordered it, I worried whether I had done the right thing and was in two minds whether to keep it or not. I got it on promotion for about half price, and think I paid a fair price for it but imho it’s not worth more.
The steamer itself is attractive and distinctive in its black and gold, albeit slightly heavy to handle, and not that light to toss into your bag when you go away. You fill a water reservoir that slides on to the handle, which is easy to do, but you have to refill frequently if you are doing more than one garment. Also, the cap on the reservoir does not seem to seal as well as when I first got it, which is slightly worrying when you are handling water and electricity… 🙁
I have used it several times on clothes with pretty good results, although sometimes it can be awkward to hold the steamer and pull the garment to straighten it. I have, however, had great results on curtains that are hanging on their track. I did need to refill the water a lot but it was worth it for the result.
I had never seen anything like this before I bought it but have since seen slightly smaller, lighter garment steamer at a much lower price in one of those supermarkets where you go in for potatoes and come out with a chainsaw from the middle aisle. I wonder whether one of those would have been just as effective at less than a third of the price, although they aren’t as good-looking.
I do think this is a good solution to banishing creases, but think perhaps it’s early days with the design and price and later models will be an improvement on this. I welcome the innovation of a steamer like this but I would give 3.5 stars as it is almost there but not quite.
