Exceeded expectations. Screen is completely black from the side view (45 degree angle).
When being viewed from the same angle as user, people will see the screen but the view is darker at a distance and detail is obscured. From an angle though, it doesn’t even look like the screen is on. (daytime, natural light images included).
At night, with low office light, the screen light shows thru more (shows shapes so one can tell the type of document on the screen but not detail)

This is just what I needed for my Office Computer. I work in an office that has alot of people in and out of it and this screen helped keep personal information private from all the people walking by my desk. I work with private information adn this kept it private.

I actually ordered two of these. One was in perfect condition the other was obviously used and resold as NEW! It had scratches on the screen, the protective film wasn’t even on it correctly and the cleaning wipes and adhesives were missing. I had to use the kit from the actual new packaging to make it work. Never disappointed with the product received.

Privacy
Easy to fit, works perfectly for restricting viewing to those sat next to you. Looks dark and so colleagues are unable to see what is on your screen if viewing from an angle i.e. sat next to you. Perfect when working on private and confidential files.
My original review was for my 23″ – When I click to review the 23.8″ it brings me back here. Let me say first of all, my 23.8″ is different than my laptop (15.5″) and my 1st monitor (23″) is different. I put those on and away we went! 100% satisfied – and I am still 100% satisfied with the 23.8″ …. it’s just a little trickier and that ONLY has to do with my screen, NOT the privacy screen.
If you have an edge to your screen and/or the screen and edge is not flush, no need to keep reading – this is amazeballs!
With my 23.8, the screen essentially does NOT have an edge. The “edge” is 1/10th centimeter wide, and it is flush with the screen. I did not want the Privacy Screen on my screen, so I had to be a bit creative. Instead of breaking apart the small tabs totally, I separated them where they were 3 instead of 6. Not folding them, I took the smaller double sided tape off and put packing tape over it so only 1 side of the tab would stick. Carefully, I folded it in half to make a 90 degree angle (you do not want to hear snapping). I used the sticky side on the top and bottom of my screen, as shown in the 2nd picture. On the bottom of my screen, there’s more of a ledge, so I was able to use 3 long ones on. Unlike my other 2 Privacy Screens, this one does not have any tabs on the sides. Still works fine, can’t even tell it’s here, unless you’re not right in front of it!
This was my review for my 15.5″ laptop —> This does exactly what it says! The only thing that I can find that I don’t like about it, is the adhesion to my screen – I can see the tape on my screen and it kinda irks me. But that aside, it is perfect!
All 3 of my Privacy screens are fantastic! They are essential to me as I have my own business, which is an adult products business, and by “my own,” I mean EVERYTHING. I have done the website, the catalogs, the invoices, I hire….the whole 9 yards. I also have a teenager and a young granddaughter living in my house. Because I do everything, I could have images of products on my screen that they do not need to see, making these Privacy Screens imperative. Why not just lock my door? I also home school, and that is not Covid related; I have been doing so for 9 years now, so it is simpler if my door is closed but unlocked so if my daughter has questions she can just come in. When things are “normal,” we also attend a co-op, which happens to be a more, er, conservative Christian based co-op (I am not saying anything is wrong with that!), but my line of work would not be appreciated by all, or many lol, not to mention all the kiddos running around there, so it is a must for my laptop as well.
Ignoring my messy desk, you can see by the 3rd picture, all you can see if you came by the side of my desk, is the reflection of my printer stand and Cricut machine! Yet this review page was up on the closest monitor and on the farther monitor, and excel spreadsheet.
As an added note, and as I have put in my sellers review, the customer service of these are fantastic! Super fast shipping (ok, I also have Amazon Prime!) and – most importantly to me – communication is stellar!

The contents of the screen is darkened but visible when they first approach my desk. As the angle widens when they walk past, then the screen is completely black. The contents are dimmed so it’s harder to read the screen with a casual glance.
As long as you don’t have someone still slightly at an angle behind you and intentionally reading your monitor (weird), this works well. It all depends on your setup. It fits perfectly on my monitor and is just what I was looking for.

I recently relocated to an office with terrible lighting. My large widescreen monitors were giving me terrible headaches by lunch everyday. I purchased these filters more for the anti-glare than the privacy. So far, so good. They were easy to install and seem to reduce the eye strain.

Glare is gone. The morning sun causes me to keep the blinds closed because of the glare. Now with the screen cover my blinds are open and so are my eyes. No more glare or working in a gloomy office. Highly recommend.

The privacy screen works as stated and was a fraction of the cost when compared to other offerings. It takes a bit of time to mount the filter firmly on the screen, but after that, it virtually disappears. I only notice that when I was looking at the monitor sideways.

Does what it say, but you will loose some Picture Quality.
This privacy Screen Filter is super easy to apply and does give you the privacy you want.
But be aware of 2 things:
1) With the screen on and facing it straight on, visibility is darker. I even tried putting the brightness up to 100%, it’s still dark.
2) The Matte side DOE NOT DO PRIVACY! Only the Glossy side. So be prepare, you will get more glare and reflections than if you didn’t have the Privacy Screen on.
In the vicinity of the computer monitor, everything is visible, and if someone is standing right behind, the screen is clearly visible. However, this greatly increased the level of confidentiality, and I can happily work knowing that no one is watching me from behind.

The screen is used to restrict the viewing of patient information from the check out window. Straight on, the screen looks perfect, from the slightest angle, the screen appears black. The filter can be attached permanently with double tape stickers or it can be attached to the monitor so that it can slide up and be removed if needed.

Good filter. Although, I use with 24 Inch screen with 50% brightness, it take more than 60 degree angle to make screen completely black (lower than 60 degree, it only blur my screen) while my old filter is only 30 degree to make it pitch black with the.

This anti-glare privacy filter has allowed me to stop wearing amber colored glasses to block blue rays when using my work computer. Together with darkening overhead fluorescent lights, I no longer end the day with strained and tired eyes and that feeling of exhaustion that I was having. I am also sleeping better and seem to be overall feeling better. The amber glasses did not accomplish this. I believe that the privacy filter blocking 65% of the blue Spectrum is responsible for this fantastic result. I looked at all manufacturers and chose this one because of the combo option of 65% blocking blue plus anti-glare. Others may only accomplish one or the other. Highly recommend. Tip: apply directly to Screen with matte side facing you (not glossy side).

That even the user can’t see parts of the screen. The only thing I hate about it is when I’m to troubleshoot any computer issues, I’m forced to walk around instead of leering over the desk. But I guess that’s why it’s there in the first place.

I must have a very odd sized monitor, so my only complaint is that I wasn’t able to find one that exactly fit. This one leaves a channel on one side and the bottom, but it isn’t too obtrusive, I just wish I made the channel on the right side of the monitor instead of the left. That aside (which I ordered knowing it wasn’t going to be exact) It absolutely does the job. My desk is set up where my monitor is visible to all who walk past my office. After installing, my coworker thought my screen was dead. She said I could see you typing but the screen was blank.
Perfect Fit for my Planar 24" monitor. The double sided sticky tape helped provide a perfectly flat interface between screen and monitor. I loved the protective plastic that you have to remove because it is what protects the screen between manufacture and installation. The only partial negative is that although it is provides decent 40 degree side angle polarization, it doesn't block total viewing potential like a former 3M screen I had for a different monitor. The good news is that it blocks enough to make it "challenging" to "extremely challenging" to identify and visually comprehend whatever is on the monitor. And the price of this product makes it a great value. I would buy again if I ever needed another privacy screen.
Perfect Fit for my Planar 24″ monitor. The double sided sticky tape helped provide a perfectly flat interface between screen and monitor. I loved the protective plastic that you have to remove because it is what protects the screen between manufacture and installation. The only partial negative is that although it is provides decent 40 degree side angle polarization, it doesn’t block total viewing potential like a former 3M screen I had for a different monitor. The good news is that it blocks enough to make it “challenging” to “extremely challenging” to identify and visually comprehend whatever is on the monitor. And the price of this product makes it a great value. I would buy again if I ever needed another privacy screen.

It’s perfect for the office. Patients can’t see the screen. I do recommend turning down the screen brightness to really keep totally privacy.

This product worked as described, yes there is a minimal gap between the screen the and film (otherwise you wouldn’t be able to get the film on and off without damaging it). If you think its not working as well as you like try re-positioning your monitor or turn down your screen brightness. I flipped my film over to the blue tabbed side (matte side-anti-glare). I have to watch where and how I sit or I can’t see parts of my screen. If you need to know the best way to get your screen measurements: hit the menu button on your monitor, get your model number and google your specs.
I had some monitor sizing issues when I purchased the privacy screen and fortunately Vintez's great customer service was able to help me get things sorted out very timely. They were quick to respond both on Amazon and on their Facebook page. Once I was able to get the correct sizing measures for my monitor, the privacy screen worked very well and better than I initially expected.

Screen protector works great. The only way someone can see what you are writing; if he or she are standing directly behind you.

I didn’t purchase it for the privacy; I bought it because it claimed to filter out negative UV rays. I spend a lot of time on the computer which can cause eye strain. Since I purchased this and put it on my screen, my eye strain has reduced drastically. I’m grateful for this as a full-time online student and gamer. It not only darkens the screen but blocks out harmful UV light. However, it takes time getting used to. It adds a very funny texture to the screen, it’s hard to describe, but you eventually adapt to seeing past it. As far as privacy goes, it’s okay. You can still see the screen very well in a large cone area behind the screen. But directly from the sides, the screen appears pretty much black.
Perfect fit and fun to use. At first I was confused about how this screen was going to hang on my computer. When received I realized it is double sided tape. I happen to have Velcro and used that instead. I see patients and sometimes they need to see the screen so I can pull off the protector and show them what they need to see and put it back on for protection. I wish they would make a U top and let it hang but the Velcro works well. I would purchase again…

I work in a cubicle farm within a very large office building and this is the best that I’ve seen. I’ve received five separate compliments in the three weeks since installing this privacy screen (privacy is both a priority and a challenge for all). I have two wide screens, one positioned vertically and one horizontally, and the far side of the horizontal screen actually fades slightly – enough to make reading small-font text a challenge without shifting slightly in my seat to read that area. However, if centered on the screen I have no problems reading the entire screen is very clear.
Mounting was easy – I used the provided sticky tabs and positioned them around the outside frame of the screen so that I can easily slide the screen cover off when I do want to share work with others.
I have the 23.8 in diagonal screen cover on a Samsung S24E450 screen positioned horizontally (panorama). When I slide the screen cover into the bottom left of the screen, there is a 1/8 in (about 3mm) gap along the top and a 1/4 in (5mm) gap along the right side. The top is not a distraction at all, but the right side can be distracting; I position it as described and the vertical slider for the window I’m using is about half under the screen and about half outside of it.

I purchased 6 of these for our office, many of us have 2 monitors and security is an issue. I had to trim each one, but it was not difficult and they work great!

The product itself is great! The promises made are well fulfilled. It’s worth the extra money to obtain the level of security these provide. But they are still more reasonably priced than many others similar to this model/brand. From a product perspective, the one complaint I have is the option to use the sticky tabs (as opposed to the stickies on the monitor option) — the bottom ones wear easily. I have, as of today, attempted to use one of the longer ones (meant for the sides) on the bottom of my screens — so we’ll see if that does the trick to maintain the stick and hold the screen in place permanently. We’ll see. But overall — great, provided us the level of security necessary and was reasonably priced. I would definitely suggest to anyone in need!
