I had had enough, and bought one of these privacy screens to hopefully solve the problem. It worked! He can't see anything on my screen anymore, and he's minding his own business now. I bought it for my office computer and super happy about it. It does cover the screen so people from the sides can’t see it and sitting next to a window it’s a super useful purchase. It’s sturdy and the adhesive holders keep the film close to the screen. I love the quality. Delivery was fast and easy. I would suggest all offices use it for privacy.

Bought this for anti glare, pleased to say the glare from the screen now fully resolved. The privacy matter is also working well from the side view. Fairly easy to put in place with no issues.

This Privacy Screen is great! It works just as described and easy to install. Direct view of the monitor screen is crisp and clear. When looking at the monitor from an angle, you do not see what is on the screen. It just looks as though the monitor is not powered on. I bought this product to apply to an HP All-in-One desktop to reduce glare. It has virtually no bezel and I was hesitant about putting tape directly on the screen, so I tried Method 2 first. I found that this method left the filter about a millimeter or so away from the surface of the monitor, and this was enough to cause some distortion of text. It was quite uncomfortable to read. So, I removed all the clear plastic holders and tried Method 1. This enabled the filter to fit flush with the screen and text reading was much improved, though there was still some slight distortion. I was able to compensate for that by enlarging the font. Method 1 would probably have worked if I’d applied the tape completely on the screen rather than partially on the bevel. Fortunately, enough tape is supplied to make it possible to experiment, and it comes off easily enough. I didn’t need the privacy function, but it does work amazingly well for that purpose. All in all, it’s a good, well-made product that is easy to install. Four stars only because of the text distortion, but perhaps that’s unavoidable.

There is a window directly across from my monitor, and no other option for locating the computer. This screen does a pretty good job of cutting down the glare, and installation was easy and fast. Also like the option of choosing between a glossy or matte surface

Privacy is great, dimmed screen but ok for data.
Great quality screen, privacy well protects at indicated angles. Darkens screen as somewhat expected in this 8yr old led screen. Used as 2nd monitor so it’s good for data work. Did not come with double stick tape, but other tabs provided.
Vendor rapidly and effectively emailed responses to questions. Good purchase.

When you remove the film, it's pretty clear which side is which as long as you pay attention. I used the "permanent" double-sided tape instead of the "temporary" tabs when placing the screen on my monitor and it's a perfect fit so I'm happy. You do see the tape lines but it's to be expected since my monitor has 1mm thin borders framing the screen so it wouldn't have been possible for me to stick it on there to hide the tape lines. The screen sticks very well on my screen since I made absolutely sure that there's little to no bubbles upon placement.

I chose installation method #1, in which i placed stickers on my monitor and slid the screen onto the monitor. I purchased a 23.6 screen with16:9 ratio for my curved monitor and it fits like a glove. I may decide to get a second privacy screen as the difference in privacy is undeniably apparent.

I bought this to give me more privacy from my customers who had a tendency to look at my computer screen from the side. I have a 24″ Dell AIO touchscreen desktop for my POS, atop my cash register. The main feature, and the most important I was searching for was the touch feature, and whether it the screen was responsive. I was expecting this screen to be installed like my cellphone screen protector, in which I would use a soapy alcohol water solution to spray the stickey side and push the water out so I can have a perfectly installed screen with no bubble and no dust under.
Well when I got this screen, I was like oh CRAP! I then looked up other competition screen protectors and they were essentially the same thing. I chose the privacy screen side, and used the clear adhesive strips on the all 4 edges. I was skeptical and was ready to send this back. The adhesives strips were ultra thin as if the entire cover adhere to the screen. So basically you have 4 very thinly raised edges. This does cause a slight blur to the screen, but I find that after awhile, I was used to it. The touch function tho, I read somewhere, maybe from another screen protector manufacturer, that they actually felt their touchscreen touched BETTER than previously, and you know what, I may have to agree with that. My touchscreen actually works great. I thought maybe due to the gap between then screen and protector, I would lose the touch capacity. But, it actually works great. I can’t find any reason why I should give this review any less than the 5 stars it deserves. It does what it does (gives me privacy and protect me from prying eyes on both sides of me), and it does it very well (touchscreen function works great with it on). So I highly recommend this. But remember, I use this over a 24″ screen. The blurriness became normal after awhile. But obviously it could always be clearer. But something’s gotta give.

Two sets of configurations: 1) either one side screen privacy, one side anti-glare (I needed anti-glare - works GREAT); 2) either adhere the product to the computer screen, or use the given "tabs" to slide the screen cover over the monitor, then remove whenever needed. I do payroll and this is absolutely the best protector ever made. It completely masks the screen except for when I'm looking straight at it. This keeps other people from seeing what I am working on. I really like the non-sticky adhesive. It stays on the screen perfectly.

This does work very well as a privacy filter, but only when using the glossy side of it! I was hoping that it would also work as a privacy filter while using the matte side – if your eyes can’t handle the gloss, I think I’d try something else. I already wear special glasses and this filter’s gloss exhibits a bit of glare.
Another plus – this fits my monitor perfectly.
I used the adhesive strips to apply onto my monitor’s display and they seem to be staying on pretty well. DO make sure you clean your monitor well FIRST, before applying this filter with the adhesives! In my case, because I now have a new monitor, I followed my monitor’s manufacturer’s instructions as to how to clean the display instead of using the cleaning wipes provided by Vintez. So far, so good.
I’ll try this for the next couple of weeks, especially to see how my eyes are able to handle the glare…
You get your money's worth. This is a true privacy screen, you cannot see from the side even a bit. Very secure and we use these for our medical clinic to protect data and information.

Excellent product, it fit my HP monitor like a a glove. You have 2 options to either slide it or attach it to the screen. I opted for #1 and it is perfect.

This product works. I also want to say that their customer service is amazing. The first time I ordered it, the box arrived damaged and consequently the product was also damaged. I reported the issue and they sent me a new one right away the next day.

I received the screen protector very fast and it is what I needed. I have two monitors which are facing windows and now people could not see my screen information from outside. So far it is amazing! Highly recommend...

While it doesn't work how I had orginally intended it too - my office has people from all angles - so a few people directly behind me can still see my screen - I have noticed that it dims the brightness of the screen and I get less headaches now. I registered the product and have a lifetime warranty on it - but doubtful I will even have to use it because it it a great quality product. Happy with my purchase.

Completely stops glare but you need to turn the brightness up
Bought for my large computer screen because of glare from windows and didn’t want to sit with the curtains drawn all day. Unfortunately that computer didn’t have enough brightness with the filter in place for me to read the screen. However, I cut it down to fit my dell latitude laptop and it works great on that, I can now use the laptop in the garden on a sunny day – amazing!

People ask me where I got these because of how great they work. No more security risk from those walking by my door. Easy to setup. Does require monitor on brightest setting. Wouldn't be good for dimly lit rooms.

I bought these for a Dell P2417H monitor. The film was slightly too big to fit within the bezel of the monitor. I used a paper cutter to trim about a 1/16th of an inch off. After trimming, it fit the monitor perfectly.

Working from home with multiple monitors, by noon I typically got a headache from the screens. This is a lifesaver! No headaches since I got the filter. The screen does black out on the sides but not too worried what my dog and cats see !!!

This anti-glare privacy screen is the best one I've tried. I tried two other types...both had too much glare. It also came in the exact size I needed. I'm going to buy another of these for my other monitor. I highly recommend it.

I work in an open space where anyone can walk behind me and see what is on my screen. Your monitor has to be positioned just right, but with that said, this works perfectly.

The main reason I got this is because I suffer from migraines and I am too sensitive to light, my computer screen was very bight and I had it on the lowest brigthness mode so with this that problem is gone, the light doesn't hurt my eyes or provoque any headaches. On top of it it gives you provacy in the office when people are trying to snoop into your content, someone has really had to be close and centered to see what I am writing....I LOVE THIS!

Works well if you only have a monitor in the landscape orientation. I have one landscape orientation and one portrait orientation. The screen does not work on the portrait orientation monitor. Other than that, it seems to do a good job.

I really doubted this would work that good! I had bought one before it and returned it since it really didn't give privacy and just dimmed the screen. See the attached video. Literally, it's a black screen and no one passing by my cubicle will see what I'm working on. Brilliant!

This works very well. I did not use the tabs. I set the screen on the monitor trim and it stays in place well.

I love this privacy screen. It was easy to install and my screen still looks the same. I thought it might be dark or dull after installing it, but it looks great and no one can view what I'm working on unless they stand directly in front of my monitor.

.....I bought this to keep my nosey co-workers out of my business. Unless you are sitting or standing directly behind this screen you will have not people trying to see what you are doing on the computer. It works as stated and while it does make the screen a bit darker it's something I've gotten used to....Enjoy

Love this!! People walking by my desk cannot see a darn thing! There are two sides, and they are different in the way that they block the screen. If you put the shiny side facing you, then the blocking is not as good, but the brightness is better. If you put the dull side facing you, then the blocking is great, but the screen is not as bright when you are looking head on. It is definitely readable, just a little dark. I used the sticky tabs by themselves at first, but the screen kept falling by the end of the day. I added 2 of the plastic pieces on the left and right, and haven’t had that problem again.

This item sticks to the screen very well and is very efficient in preventing people from seeing your screen. Some down points : it really darkens the screen and even with maximum brightness, it’s sometimes a strain on the eyes.
