Like these dog-waste bags, they’re sturdy and strong, all though I was using bags with handles beforehand these handle less bags are great as there is an indication which way is the opening and for tearing off roll so are easier to use especially for the darker evenings of winter. The bags have lasted a long time and I have them on repeat delivery.
The design of the caribine needs looking at.
Picking up poo isn’t a complicated thing and the bags dispense easily however the design on the clip is rubbish. Can’t unhook it to apply it to the harness etc.

Really good bags and helpful holde
I recommend this product 100%. The holder makes life easier and the thickness of the bags gives you confidence whilst using it. The only possible negative is that there aren’t any handles on the bags but you can always improvise.
Good size & strong
Happy with these bag they are a good size ( I have a large dog) & strong. They also have an arrow to tell you which end to open which I find very useful if I haven’t got my glasses on.

Good value robust bags
At first I was surprised at the printing on the bags but then I found the “arrows” indicating the opening of the bag a very useful feature. The carrier is also useful but the “clip end” doesn’t actually clip, howrver, attaching a carabiner clip to the “clip” enables attachment to a belt hook etc. So far so good – good value and robust bags.

Strong, good size, compact storage on roll. Arrow shows end to open. Little fiddly at times to open individual bags but that could be my poor technique. Much stronger than some other bags never any issues of tears or holes. Would prefer if they had handle version.
We get through a lot of these bags. Having seven Dobermans and five St Bernards you can imagine the big job involved.
Plus living on the 15th floor in our one bedroom flat getting to ground level is sometimes challenging, for some reason our neighbours are not always very friendly when we take them out to the communal corridor for exercise and toilet requirements .

Thick and large
i was surprised to see Arrows to show which way is the top, after trying to open other poo bags for ages until you find the right end it was a revalation, larger than other bags which means it probably wont fit into a standard poo bag container.

Tried the green ones but will go back to these the printing and arrows for the opening end make it so easy to use.
Great as a standby
Not sure about these when ordered but very pleased with them when they arrived. They are a little smaller and thinner but can easily go into your pocket/bag and are substantial enough to do the job.

Look, no one enjoys their finger ripping through a bag when they’re cleaning up after their dog. I can say hand on heart I’ve never had that problem with these bags. They’re thick, long enough to tie up and really cheap for the amount you get. A must-have for dog owners!
Great bags, shame about the lack of tie top
I have been using these bags on a roll for years because they are some of the best I have found. They are convenient and good quality. The only way they disappoint is their design. They have a straight top which can be tricky to knot before consigning bag and contents to the bin. Redesigning the bag to incorporate a tie handle would make these bags unbeatable!

I have these on subscription and they are great. Far better quality and thicker than the ones you buy at supermarket. There is no risk of putting your finger through it when picking up your dogs do-do’s!

Good but not perfec
These bags are decent quality. Thick enough not to rip, and black in colour so you can’t see the contents.
My only criticism, and the reason I haven’t given 5 stars, is that they are not scented. I usually use scented bags which stop the smell of the contents coming through while I’m looking for a bin to put it in.
That said, they are good quality bags at a good price. But, personally, I probably won’t buy them again.

Great poo bags!
They are such good quality for the price and have an arrow to show you where to open as sometimes it’s a bit tricky. They come in loads of little roles of 20 and are a good thickness.
There are dog poo bags and dog poo bags and they are not all equal.
These are nice and thick but not to thick to easily use but thick enough to hold quite a lot, be able to pick up poo without your fingers going through the plastic and ending up covered ( sadly quite a few poo bags are that thin this has happened too often) and also when tied hold in all smells – long car journeys with two dogs, stopping off, picking up their poo but no bins to put used bags means taking them with and the car did not have any smell even with the heat on in depths of winter. I have even tried nappy sacks but find they usually are on the thin side so fine for nappies or doggie mats but not for doggie poo.
I did buy biodegradable bags but found burying one of them and one of these ( both empty) that after a month both had degraded a bit the exact same amount, so why should I spend more money on biodegradable items if they degrade no quicker than these, I am not in the financial bracket that I can afford to do so. I admit in the long run these might take longer to degrade ( have reburied them so will update again in a year ) but my dogs and I have had to survive now, so call me selfish if you wish but I want to live and have my dogs live as long as possible not die early because I am spending food money on seemingly biodegradable items, which might take 50 years and these might take 50 years and 1 day to degrade.
I previously only could afford to buy 300 at once but budgeted this time for t the 900 pack as you get 3 times the amount for double the price which in this day and age is a great thing.
Ok for basic
Bags are excellent, but the dispenser cap unskrews from the main body of dispenser whilst clipped to leash/harness. The dispenser needs extra clip or tighter thread to prevent this happening. Otherwise great product.
Very strong and more for your buck
Bought 20 boxes of these for a company I run all my customers are very happy with the strength and they are not thin which was very surprising as most bags are.

Thick & strong bags. Have not had any burst. Personally I will not buy again as I prefer a bag with handles but that is personal choice. The bags are unscented (no overpowering smell of citronella) and are easy to open. They even have an arrow indicating which is the open end.

Cheap and Convenie
Ignore the other reviews saying that it’s hard to separate the bags from one another as these people are probably weak. I found it really easy to separate them and the bags are extremely durable. Used it when I walked my Jack Russell Terrier today and it was so easy to clip onto my retractable lead handle. Cheap as well for a box of 300 bags…

What can I say? They’re poo bags and they do the job! Come with a handy dispenser. The bags are strong enough they don’t split easily and having left a ‘full’ bag in the car accidentally for a good few hours they keep in quite a lot of smell too!!! Great value for money. We have repeatedly bought these for over a year with no issue.

I have a dog, its a Cockapoo, its poop output is not reflective of either what it eats or its stomach size, it wont win Crufts but if there was a pound for pound poop award it might win that. It is a prolific filler of bags.
For the last two years i have had the great pleasure of using Christmas themed poop bags that my wife bought in bulk one January. They have now exhausted so i wanted something a little less festive. Something plain that wouldn’t raise any conversations on walks. Nice black poop bags you have there…
The Good
* A surprise this part but they came in a very suitably sized cardboard box that now doubles up as storage space for them under the stairs. Being Amazon i half expected several rain forests to have been culled in the making of the shipping packaging so this was a pleasant surprise.
* They come with a dispenser, one of those simple plastic ones that you find useful but usually lose within a week of buying.
* The bags are very well sized. In the past i have found myself in fear of any more deposits being made whilst on a walk for fear of having to undertake the morally bankrupt act of ‘ignore and walk off’ even when i took four bags out with me. All printed with Christmas trees on. These bags will not be filled quickly.
* Another issue with novelty dog poop bags i found was that my finger often popped through the bag, its not like i have nails like a werewolf, the bags were just very flimsy. These bags, whilst i wouldn’t use them for a tip run do seem to be much more durable and up to the test.
There isnt anything negative to say about these bags, excellent price, sturdy, non descript, come with a dispenser in a well sized storage box and have absolutely no sign of Christmas Trees or Mistletoe on them anywhere.
I now walk the dog without fear.
Highly recommended.

The dog bags fit into a small dispenser, you get 20 rolls. The only problem with the bags is that there are no tie handles but the bags are large enough to tie up. The bags have an odor so you don’t get the smell off dog poo

As these bags are advertised as “basics”, I was incredibly surprised to see that they are simply the best doggy bags that I have ever bought over the last 20 odd years. Seriously, not a windup.
The bags are made of high-density polyethylene or PE-HD2. That is a strong plastic that is totally recyclable and strong. If you pick up a small stick or something along with the poo, it doesn’t immediately poke through and rip the plastic-like cheap bags.
The bags are well perforated and are easy to separate with a bold white line indicating where the perforations are so you are not searching for ages for where to pull the bags apart.
Not only that, but the holder is something in itself. With two prongs inside, one at each end, so that the roll actually rolls freely as you take a bag out and nothing tangles up and you don’t end up having to pull like mad.
Very good value and will definitely be ordering again, eventually!
Oh, and arrived early next day after ordering late afternoon.

These bags are excellent value for money. They are large and quite strong. The fact it comes with a holder is handy. The only problem I have with these bags is that I wish the manufacturer had through of something different to use in the middle of the roll of bags. When you finish a whole roll there is a hard plastic tube which the bags have been rolled around, it’s a shame this couldn’t have been cardboard or have no insert at all. But other than that the bags are great.

The dispenser is what you would expect, simple and small but does feel more durable than some of the others I’ve tried. Bags are really good – no incidents of fingers ripping through yet! If anything the bags feel too heavy duty – it feels like you’re throwing away too much plastic each pick up, which adds up quickly if your dog is anything like mine!

GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY
Wonderful value for money! We had purchased a large number of inferior bags (not from Amazon!) for a similar price but these are far superior. Large, thick and easy to carry around. Picking up poo has become so easy, especially as we have a new puppy as well as our original little terrier.

Five Star other than for the Material Used
All my experiences with items from the Amazon Basics range so far have been really good and these aren’t really any exception – they are great quality at a great price, we just switched to a non-plastic/biodegradable option, but otherwise these are great. Very tough so no worries about rips or tears (so tough in fact they can be hard to yank/separate from the roll) and they;’re a really good size too. A good price for a good number of bags – if you’re happy with the material then I’d absolutely recommend them.

Would be great we’re it not for a few faulty rolls
While these bags are great value for money, very sturdy and nice and big to be able to tie and hold while out walking my dog who pulls a lot I know they won’t tear. However I’ve had a few rolls where they are almost impossible to tear off at the seam and in fact have had to throw out a few bags that didn’t even have a seam to tear two or three bags in a row off. I’d say 1/3 of the rolls I have used have been very difficult to pull apart the bags. Thankfully I pull them off the roll individually before I go out or it would be an utter nightmare trying to do so while my dog is pulling on the lead while I try to tear a bag off and pick up his poop. Pity as they would be perfect were it not for that fault especially because they have an arrow to show which end opens to stop me looking like an idiot trying to open the wrong end.
