Works for what I originally bought it for console gaming. For this very impressive but recently put together a pc and for some reason the microphone isn’t recognised with windows (using Windows 11) it just thinks it’s a regular headset without a microphone. So I had to buy a USB 3.5mm adapter and it works straight away no idea why.
The best headset i have used really comfortable and the sound the quality is unreal. Playing games like Call Of Duty you can hear movement clear. I really recommend the Astro A40 TR.
The astro a40’s are gd for high budget gaming headset the audio quality is definitely up there with some minor issues when playing on a console.
On the PS5 I ran into issues with the mic on the headset that some reason caused me to speak through the controller instead of the headset mic. The reason for this is the mute slider on the headset mutes the mic but not the controller mic.
But overall the Astro a40’s are worth the money but if your considering them, buy the bundle that comes with the audio mixer as there no volume slider on the headse

Niente da dire, prese senza mix amp ma fanno lo stesso e anche molto bene il loro dovere, comodissime e molto leggere.
Solid build quality, decent sound with plenty of depth and bass. Great for games that are reliant on sound cues.
I swapped out the standard ear cups for some faux leather ones, because the standard ones can get a bit irritating and scratchy when worn for a couple of hours or so. Other than that, very comfortable.
have the TR40 MiXAmp Pro and these headphones are made just for these along with the Astro Software you great some great sounds and works well with PS5 or PC with the ASTRO HDMI splitter.
Money well spend and worth every penny
The only downside is that others can hear the audio, so my wife moans that she is able to hear gunfire now.

Cuffie con audio davvero ottimo, cuscinetti comodi e microfono eccellente. Unica pecca: Se si acquista la versione senza il mixamp non c’ modo di regolare l’audio se modificarlo dal dispositivo collegato.

Bonjour! Je suis une gameuse ps4 et en ayant eu un casque ps4 la diffrence avec le Astro A40 est remarquable! Le confort est au top le son aussi! Plus qu’ voir sur la longue dure !!! Je suis vraiment contente de mon achat pour l’instant , la livraison tait super rapide galement.
Headset ist super und sitzt butterweich auf meinem Kopf und daher kann Ich dieses Headset sehr empfehlen.
Allerdings gibt es keinen Lautstrkeregler am Headset selbst da Ich das Headset allerdings an einem Mischpult nutze ist dies kein Problem.
Microfono un po’ rumoroso come se avesse un difetto tante volte devo modificare la soglia perch gli altri non mi sentono o mi sentono bassissimo

This supposed to be the best tournament gaming headset in the market, unfortunately it lacked on PS5. This branded as it supports PlayStation 5 system although the functionality did work as planned.
I did not purchase Mixer with it even though you need additional optical adapter to make the mixer work with the PS5. My current were to use this headset as normal but the sound quality was terrible on PS5. The Surround were malfunctioning, I couldn’t not here foot steps left or right, it was all over the place.

Le son et le confort sont vraiment trs bon, malgr un prix qui ncessite un investissement important. Le casque est solide et durable dans le temps.
