This flat floor and rug cleaner, it is the best flat floor cleaner I have ever purchased. I have marble floors, they have grooves, I have cats, I’ve never had floors so clean. It cleans dirt, grime, it leaves a fresh clean smell, it doesn’t just swish dirt about the dirty water is sucked up and away and is re cleaned with clean water. It’s amazing, I’m so pleased, I really hope it’s durable and lasts.

The cleaning of the parts that collect the grim and dirt is all very easy and straight forward. It’s part of the process and the ease of taking it apart and putting it back together couldn’t be simpler. Can you tell I’m pleased!
Spray problem
Used around 1 year, I used the filter water all the time, can’t spray out & occlusion.
On a farm with dogs, boots, rain and wind blowing dirt in, this is brilliant. Slate floors with the ridges in the slates that hold onto dust no matter how much you mop and hoover. Used this the first time today, tiles good as new, grout looking a lot better. I hoovered first but it still picked up dog hair etc. No it doesn’t go all the way to the edge but who cares. Took me half an hour to do three rooms, a hallway and a utility room. Dried in about ten minutes. Easy to empty and clean. Very pleased. It came with a bottle of cleaning solution and a spare roller.

This is without a doubt the best cleaner I have bought for my floors. You would never use a mop again after using this. My floor tiles, cushion floor and wooden floor have only been this clean when first fitted.
I don’t normally write reviews but I felt I needed to after using this product for the first time. I have lino wood look floors in my kitchen which has small grooves in. It’s incredibly difficult to keep clean with a traditional mop and bucket as the mop just moves the dirty water around, ultimately drying in the grooves. Our GSD also loves to dig in the garden and bring in her muddy paws. I thought I would never see our original floor colour again. This product fixed it on the first go! It cleaned the whole floor in about 15 minutes. Spotless! The deep clean button on the handle really tackled the dried in mud. Do not be put off if you feel it takes too long to clean because it is a time saver in the long run. Take your time going backwards and forwards and allow the bristles to do their magic. Just be careful not to overfill the dirty water tank as the water does squirt onto the clean floor. Really easy to clean and manoeuvre about the home. The rug setting isn’t too bad either and doesn’t leave them soaking wet.
However it doesn’t quite reach the edges of the kitchen so I did need to go round with a small mop to get those bits.
With that said, the time I have saved getting this product is life changing!
You can also use other cleaning products, just make sure it’s really diluted.

Easy to fill and use. It has a long cord and very easy to clean out after. It’s amazing how much dirt it gets off the tiled floor every time I use it.
I got so sick of my floors constantly being grubby even after mopping several times. With two dogs running around I thought it was a lost cause, but then this came into my life and cleaned the worries away.

Good for performing 3 tasks in one device; vacumn , wash, dry. Only real issue is cable is a little too short so you have to replug or buy an extension. You need to dismantale and clean the machine each time you use the machine.
This is detrimental if your only using it for small floor areas as its time consuming.

I suppose it’s the old adage “you can’t beat elbow grease”. Yes, it does what it says on the tin, it’s a good sturdy product and it certainly cleans floors reasonably well. It does vacuum but after a few goes I would recommend giving the area a normal vacuum first as it can be a touch messy cleaning out debris from all the various channels. It cleans well to a degree, any stubborn stains you will need to hover over the area for a while to let the roller do its job. If you’re using a mop and bucket on a similar mark a good rub is all it takes to remove. However, where this machine triumphs is its economical use of water and its ability to suck up the excess liquid; with a mop and bucket you are spreading far more water over the same area which obviously increases drying time, the Bissell cuts drying time exponentially! It feels like it takes the same time to clean a floor with this product but obviously at a far more relaxed pace. Worth the investment?….. Put it this way; it makes floor cleaning a touch more pleasant. 🙂
I cannot find anything wrong with this hard/carpet floor cleaner. Quick and easy to clean, easy to use. Takes all the hard work out of washing/drying hard floors. Using it about once a week (great for dirty doggy feet). Cleaning fluid is economical and has a great fresh smell. Recommend this.
For me this is a life changing piece of kit. 2 dogs, hard floors and rugs downstairs and you need something like this to do a thorough clean quickly. However, it really doesn’t reach the edges as other reviewers have said. Cleaning the machine itself is simple but mucky. It is worth using the stand to clean the roller. All in all I am glad I bought this.

When I tried to vacuum and wash at the same time, which is what this is supposed to do, the dog hairs got clogged in the pipe and it was difficult to get them out out. Brilliant as ahard floor/carpet washer though.

This product is fantastic. We have a Black Labrador and cream ceramic floor tiles. I used to dread cleaning the floor, first hoovering then steam cleaning. This does both in less than half the time. A number of reviews I’ve seen mention the problem with cleaning the unit. There isn’t a problem! It’s so quick and easy and as the cleaner comes with a spare roller brush the other can be left to dry for next time. It also comes with a litre of cleaning fluid but I also ordered an extra one and an extra brush – just in case this product is ever discontinued!
Comments have also been made about the inability to get right up to the skirting boards. Like one review said if you go up to the wall with the front of the cleaner there is no problem. My steam cleaner left more of a “border” than this product.
Like I say don’t hesitate this really has changed my cleaning life! (ps the cleaner is a little heavier than you’d expect but that also seems to confirm how robust it is)
Works but is hard work
This does work as a floor mop and as a vaccum cleaner.
It is heavy, noisy and can’t get to the edges of the floor.
If used following the instructions and you mop quite slowly then it does work well. It can’t get close to the edges of a floor so you have to find a way to do those separately. You also need to ensure you follow ALL of the cleaning instructions- which takes a while.
Summary: it works, it is heavy and noisy, you need to go slowly and thoroughly clean it all afterwards.
Still better than a Karcher.
Time saving and easy to use
Very easy to use. I like that you don’t have to sweep up/vacuum before using as with a mop/steamer. I couldn’t believe the colour of the dirty water. It’s reasonably lightweight and has a lengthy lead. The suction seems to be good. It did clog up with fluff when I used it on my high pile rug. A little on the expensive side but all in all, I’m very pleased with this purchase.
Bissell Crosswave Pet Pro
Fairly new machine for me, I have only used it a couple of times but so far I love it. Being able to hoover and mop at the same time is a game changer for me. The filth that has been removed from my floors is unbelievable. Having two kids and a dog the dirt can build up quickly but it is just as quickly gone with this machine. I bought this hoover as I have a dog that sheds some hair. The hoover picks up very well. Can be used on hard and carpeted surfaces and also to wash the floor. I got 30 off original price so that was a bonus. Very pleased with my purchase.

Just what I needed!
I have a large area of porcelain tiles and a mud monster usually known as a golden retriever. Never feel I get the floor really clean using either a mop and bucket or my steam cleaner. Also takes ages to dry. And always concerned dirty water residue is left on the tiles.
This has made cleaning the floor so easy. Sucks up the dirty water ( shockingly dirty!) and dries so quickly. So easy to use and great suction power. My tiles look fabulous.
My only feedback is that it doesn’t get right up to the edge of the kitchen cabinets so I still need to clean manually. Not the end of the world though.

So, I dont have a massive amount of hard floor, kitchen, 2.5 bathrooms, conservatory and a bar. But i do have 2 very muddy spaniels and an equally muddy football mad partner so i wanted something to clean.
This machine does all that. its not as quick as getting out the vac and mop bucket but its so much easier and much more fun. the kitchen floor is the cleanest its ever been, Even my cleaner was impressed. its a little expensive for what ill use it for but overall im incredibly pleased with it and would recommend it.
Amazing
This is a must have if you have hard floors. It cleans and dries well, much drier than a steam mop would leave your floor. Good for spills and small accidents . I personally wouldn’t pick up really dirty stuff with it but thats just because I wouldn’t want the roller going over them then over the rest of my floor. It’s just my choice. I’ve cleaned a small patch of carpet with it and it brought it up a great . It’s not like new but I’d say a good 85% improvement. Easy to clean, I like to do it after every use but some say you don’t have to. I put the filter on the radiator to dry. It’s dry by the next day. I am going to buy a second roller and filter so that I don’t have any downtime. Again choice. Suction is very good . As good as my shark I’d say but not as easy to use on carpet alone, as my shark. I will use it on my hard floors and the odd piece of cleaning on carpet/rug. For hoovering alone I’ll use my shark . You can however buy a roller more specific to carpet. On the whole a marvellous addition to my cleaning arsenal.

Bissell Crossway cordless max is an amazing product, used it for the first time today and it puts my dyson v10 to shame. Hoovers edges really well, mops up simple stains, for more stubborn stains you’d need an old fashioned mop but on a day to day basis this product makes your floors so much cleaner, I was astonished at how much dirt was in it when I finished. It’s really easy to open every compartment to make sure the hoover is cleaned and I just can’t rave about it enough. I noticed one of the reviews on here said it was really heavy, it’s not, it’s lightweight so easy to carry up and down the stairs, after a while my hand and arm ached but what hoover wouldn’t after a certain amount of time. This is the best thing I have bought in a long time and actually makes me excited to clean my floors. If anyone is thinking whether they should buy this or not I can assure you definitely buy it, you won’t be making a mistake.
Much better than expected
Seeing the mixed reviews I wasn’t expecting much from this machine. But omg it is a game changer. I tried one from a leading brand and it left puddles all over our kitchen floor. But this one is brilliant cleans the floors really well and easy to clean the machine after use. The solution is expensive but I find just hot water alone cleans the floor just as well so alternate. It is a bit heavy but not that much that it cannot be used. If the machine is tilted too much to try get under furniture it will stop working so need to keep it flat on the floor. I have noticed the machine does have a burning smell after use I uavent figured out where it is coming from yet but its still working so until it goes bang its a good buy.
best thing since sliced bread
The Bissell Crosswave is a must for anyone with kids or pets and hard floors. I have 5 dogs and a churned up garden after so much rain. Need I say more. It was beginning to be a nightmare and I didn’t believe there was a easy way out. However the ease is amazing, just hoover and wash at the same time. It does dry the floor more than leaving it to opening doors (and waiting, for yet more muddy wet footprints). It is a bit noisy but I can forgive that. It is easy to clean, unlike most carpet cleaners where the fur gets trapped and is impossible to get out. Or hoovers that smell doggy and you can’t get rid of the smell. The Crosswave is simple to empty and run under water. The front comes off to get to the brush with ease. I am so delighted.

I think you would need to vacuum say one in three times – in order to do skirting boards etc – but for a quick whip around it picks up crumbs and dog hairs and over rugs is very effective in picking up (more) dog hairs. I would recommend it – it is light enough for me to carry upstairs where we have wooden floors – and it is extremely easy to clean. Go for it!

I don’t live in a dirty home so am always amazed at just how good this cleaner is and it saves half the time as does both chores at the same time. If Bissell are listening and read reviews I would love a model with a detachable hose for corners and to reach cobwebs.

Wow!
I have had the original corded crosswave for a number of years and have bought many replacement filters and brushes but I am aware of it’s faults so after been given Amazon vouchers for Xmas I did my research and decided on the cordless crosswave max as after reading the comments seemed to address my issues with the original crosswave.
1. The integral hair debris catcher is definitely a winner, with 3 dogs shedding hair liberally I usually let the roomba do the hard work and then move onto the crosswave however when the roomba ran out of juice before finishing the kitchen I just went for it dog hairs and all and it did a fantastic job.
2. weight, whilst this is a lot heavier it works to its advantage, we have a slightly uneven wooden floor which the original struggles with but the cordless crosswave max is not daunted and cleans as well in the uneven area as the flat floor
3. The self cleaning brush when placed back on the charger was a revelation normally I would have to take the brush roll assembly to pieces and remove all the dog hair, whilst the cordless max had dog hair on the brush when placed in self cleaning mode it got sucked dramatically up the machine and into the waste water bucket and gathering on the new hair trap, amazing!
4. Just the fact it’s cordless is in itself a massive bonus
5. The edge cleaning, this is much much better than the original
6. I admit I am anal about floor cleaners of any type but with 3 dogs it’s an everyday necessity so to sum it up I love it!!
7. No reason to put off cleaning the floor now, being cordless makes cleaning a doddle, as I have a bad back fighting with the corded version just made me put off cleaning the floor.
Wish I’d got one years ago
The best help Cinderella could have ! My downstairs floors are predominantly stone and although practical with a dog, hard on the back to keep scrubbing. This machine is brilliant- does what it says, easy to use and so easy to clean. The only slight downside is that it’s a little heavier than I expected but it does swivel which is really helpful.

I have done a lot of research into hard floor cleaners. I have watched a whole range of YouTube videos and investigated product reviews. I finally chose the Bissell cross wave pet pro and I haven’t been disappointed. It’s absolutely brilliant !
We have a large house with the majority of the downstairs covered in stone floor with some wooden floors. We have two dogs. We consider that we are careful house owners and we have a built-in warm water dog wash in the garden, we wash the dogs paws every time we take them for a walk and before we allow them in the house.
As I have been getting older I have struggled with keeping all the floors clean it’s a big job, stone floors take a lot of heavy hoovering and mopping.
Our experience with the Bissell has been brilliant, we have been astonished at the amount of dirt that has come off our floors and rugs.
We have found it easy to use following the pictorial instructions and I have viewed YouTube videos, It’s lightweight and easy to manoeuvre on our stone floors. I recommend it to anyone who has large areas of hard floor within their homes and particularly those with dogs and children it’s really cut down the cleaning time in our home.
It’s also worth mentioning that I am a Which member. They tested the Bissell cross wave as a carpet cleaner and gave it a low score. I will be letting them know that they have made a mistake as it is a hard floor cleaner first and a rug cleaners second.
Ticks the boxes
I have a gym floor that is black rubber and gets dirty pretty easily as its winter. Tried hand cleaning, steam cleaning and hoovering all of which were not effective enough. Was just about to shell out 1,300 on an industrial cleaner then saw the CrossWave and gave it a go as a last resort. Hooves and washes at the same time and end result is more than acceptable so good value for money compared to an industrial cleane

Not so good for edges though. Will leave a margin around furniture and skirting boards. Have to move furniture every time and go round edges with another vacuum and a cloth. Would recommend having a spare brush and filter if you use your machine regularly to allow for washing and drying. Overall I like this machine though

Cleans well and saves time
I was worried this would be a waste of money but really glad I bought it. Takes a bit longer than just vacuuming but much, much quicker than mopping separately, and much easier if you have back pain. So far I’ve used it everyday instead of vacuuming and the floors are looking great. (Would normally only mop them every few days.)
As a vacuum it picks up better than our cordless Shark vacuum.
Only con I’ve found so far is that it doesn’t make it easy to separate the dirty water from other bits it’s picked up, which makes emptying and cleaning a bit tricky.
Also, I learned the hard way that you do need to follow the instructions and take out the brush roller after each use and leave it to dry or it will smell the next day.

Absolutely love this item. I have always cleaned my floors by hand so I know they are cleaned properly & not left with any dirty smelly mops or other. This product is clean & fast. You can feel the suction on the floor & see the dirty water in the tub on the back of the machine. I love the way you can stand this in its holder & just have the brush bar rotating to clean it after use (even though I do tend to still wash it after every use). The only reason for scoring a 4 would be that it doesn’t get right upto thd skirting boards. It leaves roughly 3/4inch uncleaned floor. However, due to it also acting as a hoover at the same time, you do know your floors are clean. I just nip round the missed areas with dettol floor wipes as it only takes a couple of minutes & with the time this product has initially saved me, then it’s no hardship. Would certainly recommend, its a must have.
Mop and hoover at the same time
Great bit if kit, i have mostly hard floors so this is a godsend and worked super well on a small rug (i was embarrassed by how much dog hair and dirt came out of the rug). Easy to use and clean. Doesn’t go right to the edge but then I haven’t found a hoover that does yet.

Great floor cleane
My karcher floor cleaner broke, I tried normal spray mops but no good with a dog, so bought this beauty!! Keeps the floor lovely and clean, vacuums much better than the karcher, though does leave it a bit wetter and surprisingly good at cleaning, even my really thick pile rug!! Expensive but great!! Just wish it had an attachment for cleaning the stairs and the sofa-then it would be perfect!!

I found it easy to use just plug in and full the water bottle and you are ready for then messy floors

Game change
After reading poor reviews, especially the one that said it’s very noisy I was sceptical but bought one regardless. Can i just say its not noisey at all. I have two bullmastfis so you can imagine what my floor looks like. I’m over the moon, it’s just perfect. My floors have never looked so clean. I can’t recommend this enough. You won’t regret it.
Great on slate floo
Don’t often bother to review products but making an exception in this case. After being quoted 450 to restore our slate kitchen floor I decided to investigate an alternative and settled on this machine. The first one I ordered went missing (thanks Hermes). Amazon sent out a replacement which arrived the following day. Takes about 10 min to unpack and put together then it’s ready to use. Fill the water bottle to the line with warm water, add cleaning fluid ( a small bottle is supplied, would advise ordering a bigger one at the same time as the machine) snap it in and off you go. Two switches on the handle one for hard floors and one for carpet and a trigger underneath to dispense cleaning fluid. It was a bit like the first time I used a Dyson on what I thought was a clean carpet. I went over the floor several times over about three hours and it came up gleaming. This is a rough slate floor that has only had a weekly mop for about 20 years so it was embarasing. The floor was left very slightly damp and dried in about 15 min. Also used on hardwood and smooth tile floors with great results. Need to think about where to store it as the roller brush remains damp after use but a tray to stand it on is included. Dirty water goes into a separate tank which is easily removed for emptying and filter cleaning, just run under a tap. A float in the tank shuts off suction when the tank needs emptied you will think there is something wrong the first time it happens. A tank of fluid mix lasts about 20 min and is sufficient for a big area of smooth floor. I used about 1/2 a litre on my kitchen which is only about 10-12 m Sq. Won’t need that much next time though.
Easy to use but take time to remove hair twined on brush roll
Easy to manage not bulky but still a bit heavy to take it upstairs.
Enjoy vacuum and mopping in one go but the head can’t get deep underneath of cabinets, sofa, even bed due to the thickness of the machine body which is not in a pole size. You need a Dyson handheld machine for daily causal use.
Most annoying me is I need to spend 15-20mins every time to remove all long hair twined on the two ends and middle of the brush roll, another 10-15mins to wash the filters and containers
Original Bliss cleaner solution is only enough for cleaning living room. you just feel the floor is wet but was not wiped and cleaned. Must buy extra cleaner solution (other brand) together with your machine to enjoy the first trial. Need to refill once for covering an area of 3 bed house including kitchen, bathroom and utility room
A very loud sound will come out when the bottom container is full when you turn your handle either left and right side. It sounds scary and makes you feel there is something wrong with the machine.
All in all, happy purchase.

I love my Bissell Crosswave it has made my life so much easier I wish I had bought it Sooner. It is sturdy and efficient as well as being cost effective because it doesn’t break after you have used it twice like the cheaper floor mops.
A great compact cleaner!
I think this hoover is great, we have shiny tiles in our kitchen and using a mop they’d end up covered in smeary footprints within half an hour, but this hoover makes the floor beautiful and shiny! We have a cat and toddler and it’s a must have item. It’s great on wet spills and foods, not so good if they have dried, though that’s to be expected. I’ve found it saves me so much time and effort. Definitely clean out the brush and dirty water tank as soon as you’re done as it makes cleaning it a lot easier and avoids any smells. Like another reviewer said, if you angle the handle so much it doesn’t suck very well e.g. if you’re trying to get under the table on the opposite side, and if you bump it into anything it loses suction and you have to turn it off and stand it upright to ‘reset’ it. Overall I’m really happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this product!
Better than I expected
Cleans ceramic tiles beautifully. So we’ll designed and intuitive to use. Only took a few minutes to empty and wash the various parts. Amazing product. Wish I had bought one years ago.
This hard floor cleaner is a must have.
I bought this cleaner following a recommendation from a friend. I have hard flooring in the whole of my downstairs. I was that person who used to Hoover the floor and mop with a mop and bucket, but the floor never felt totally clean. However the Bissell CrossWave Petpro does everything in one go, and my floor is definitely clean. Easy to use and just the best addition to my house.

This machine cleans our vinyl floor really well and leaves the floor almost dry. It lets you know when the dirty water tank by change in tone. Only thing it could do with is a bigger dirty water tank

Absolutely amazing machine we live on a farm and I have 2 labs who shed so much hair and this machine picks it all up and deep cleans at the same time! Literally cannot fault the machine and I find it works best with the pet zofloraw, flash floor cleaner went all soapy and didn’t work well at all!! Zoflora leaves your house smelling amazing all day too!! Can’t recommend this machine enough!!

We opted for the Karcher equivalent 4 years ago, which has been ok but I found that I still had to vacuum first, so was a bit disappointing. When it broke I thought I would try the Bissel and I’m so glad that I did.
There’s nothing to dislike about the Bissel cleaner. It really does vacuum and wash at the same time, saving loads of time. It is easy to use, is lightweight, with great manoeuvrability and it’s so easy to clean out afterwards. Brilliant!

Ignore what they say about not needing to vacuum 1st unless you’re the only inhabitant & you live there naked. Vacuum or else you’ll end up with lots of fluff mixed in with sludge in your receiver receptacle. Ive cleaned my carpet twice in 3 days & its just starting to improve but not there yet.
Lots of cleaning of it to do after too.I still think its better than Vax though, seems more powerful.

Amazing!! I’ve got a horrible textured lino in my kitchen which just seems to absorb the dirt. I’ve tried mops, bleach, steam mops and scrubbing on my hands and knees. Nothing worked. Until now! So pleased with it. Also worked really well on a carpet for spot cleaning. Great suction and doesn’t leave the floor or carpet wet!!

From the first use you could see the floors were cleaner than they had been in months, and the best thing is no hoovering before hand. Half the work and twice the job!! Even used it on the landing carpet with superb results. Would recommend to anyone, well worth purchasing.

Great all rounder for tiled and laminate floors especially if you have pets.
Really pleased with this, bought it to replace my vax glide which had broken. What I prefer about this in comparison is that because it is plug in I don’t have to worry about whether the last person to use it had put the battery on to charge. It also means I can do the whole of my downstairs and not just the one room at a time. Other than that it works pretty much in the same way as the glide except that this will also do area rugs. It makes my life much easier not having to vacuum and then mop. Very pleased with it so far!

The CrossWave Pet Pro is a total game changer! I was sceptical as it’s a lot to pay for a glorified mop but damnit is so worth it! We’ve got about 70m square of porcelain tiles through high traffic areas. 2 kids, a dog and a husband! I was fed up of my shark not really cleaning and more moving the muck around. But this, oh my, the muck that comes up is unbelievable. The floors look clean and the fluid has a lovely scent. It’s so easy to use and with the flick if a button I can clean the door mats. Needless to say I’d never go back to any other form of mop!!

The instructions are good but I prefer a visual, so I watched the videos on their website on how to use it and clean it. I’ve also used it on the carpet, when we moved into this house there was a large stain by the front door and this product has removed that which I’m so pleased about. The only improvement that could be made is that when you’ve finished you need to rinse the components and leave to dry, it would be good to have a spare set of these for if you want to use the product again quickly after but it’s not a deal breaker at all! The smell of the liquid cleaner is fresh and has lasted me a few months now. I’m so pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone.

I thought about this a while before purchase. My dog is elderly with all the problems that entails. Anyway the day it arrived I had it put together in minutes. I cleaned all my hard floors and the stained areas of my carpet. It removed old dried stains and freshened everything. Taking the areas apart was straight forward. The filter, brush cover and and dirty tank were easily rinsed. The filter came apart and I ran plenty of fresh water through it to clean it. I have had dirty water tanks for carpet cleaners so stupidly shaped that all they did was collect dirt in the corners. The tank on this was small but very easy to clean. The brush easily came off and was rinsed. There is a system where you pour water on the tray provided and run the machine. This will obviously will rinse through the inside tubes. Fluff and gritty dirt from the carpet is collected in the dirty water tank. When emptying ensure you have a strainer in the sink plug hole, or it would all go down the drain. I wouldn’t say it would replace a vacuum cleaner. When the instructions say rugs they mean carpets. Rugs just get sucked up. Would recommend.

IMHO this is a superb piece of kit. It does need cleaning after use which is easily done but for what it achieves when used that’s a small price to pay.
Absolute game changer!
I am so happy with my Bissell Corded Crosswave. This is an amazing bit of kit. It cleans and scrubs my hall and kitchen tiles with clean water whilst sucking up and holding the dirty water till I tip it away. The cord is long, the machine easy to use and the cleaning solution smells nice. No more dirty mop and bucket for me!

I did dither about buying it due to the cost but I’m so glad I finally bit the bullet. I’ve always hated cleaning the floors, had a steam mop but always preferred getting on my hands and knees and using a cloth and water with a cleaner, it was soo time consuming which resulted in the floors not being cleaned as often as I liked. I bought a steam mop a year ago and that just didn’t seem to cut the mustard. I have a mixture of flooring types, largest area being karndean flooring into a dining room with tiles and then a conservatory with laminate and it cleans all of the different textures wonderfully – even the grout in the tiles. I would say, if your floors aren’t level then you may not get the clean you want.
It takes about 5 minutes to empty and clean up the machine but that is all, and I believe if the machine is well looked after it will last years. We have a dog and a cat who both moult and the machine can handle it. I researched and researched and this came up with best with reviews, slightly more expensive than the other leading brand.

Ideal to replace separate hoover and mopping
Purchased from warehouse section as a ‘acceptable’ grade item. Very happy to find it looks like brand new imo. Happy with it on first go. I think this will be me regular go to for clean ups as in a house of 5 plus a dog floor cleaning is something that needs to be done mire regularly.

This is my third attempt to become friends with a hard floor cleaner. I have tried two others and sent both back. One begins with V and has three letters, the other begins with K and also does power washers. Both had great reviews but I should have known to choose an item that is manufactured by a company that ONLY makes cleaners.
This is a robust and easy to use piece of equipment and it worked beautifully on my floors. I have a vinyl/Karndean type floor and it worked wonders. The problems I have had with other hard floor cleaners were leaking dirty water, rollers not spinning, rollers getting dirty and not cleaning effectively and poor build quality. Trust me…this one will not disappoint. The roller has soft and hard bristles so it lifts dirt easily. I clean my floor every day as I have two dogs and bifold doors so it’s always dirty. I cleaned it yesterday with the ‘K’ cleaner. Today I used the Bissell for the first time and the dirty water container contains water I would not like to photograph! Delighted… I now have a new friend.

Brilliant love it just fill up and off we go hoovers washes and practically dried the floor we were well impressed as we have wooded floors throughout the house this is fantastic just love it floors a lovely and clean more now as we use every day as it’s great because we got a new puppy so this is very hygienic as well
This cleaner is so nearly perfect for our needs. As the advertising says, it has both clean and dirty water tanks and also vacuums up bits on the floor, so no need to vacuum before cleaning, unless you have a large amount of litter on the floor.
We’ve been amazed at the amount of dirty water it collects and the amount of dog hair contained therein from our two Labradoodles, who DO shed (that’s the trouble with steam cleaners, as far as i’m concerned, they put water on the floor and leave it there so the dirt doesn’t really get picked up).
It’s also great not to have to kneel on the floor to give it a good scrub by hand (which is what i’d previously resorted to)
Downsides: As previous reviews state, it doesn’t clean right up to the cupboard plinths, so you really need to wipe the last inch/couple of inches with a cloth. Also, we have tiles that aren’t smooth, sort of a stone effect, which tend to collect dirt in little corners. Whilst the cleaner does a good job of keeping them clean it doesn’t get into all the little spaces, so i had to scrub every inch of floor before starting to use the cleaner for the first time. Once I’d done that, it’s doing a pretty good job of stopping any more pockets of dirt forming
