This camera is used for recording the wildlife in our garden at night – foxes, cats, even mice!
I put it in a circular metal bird feeder to prevent the foxed from chewing it.
The led light is useful, and the WiFi range is great.
For a 1080p resolution camera it’s very good.

Best camera
Fnastic system meaning I can view live and also past events. Quick to record movement and playback immediately. Excellent quality footage. Charge lasts ages too. Highly recommend!
Better Model
I bought one before but the model had two buttons on the sides. It worked perfectly until one stormy day. The water went in and….end of story. The item did say it is weather proof but in order to access the memory card and on/off button, you had to remove the plastic device, and it did not have a good seal around that opening, unfortunately. This one does not have that. It only has a rubbery part at the bottom which seems to have a really nice tight seal. There are still speaker holes at the back but I assume it has some kind of fixed protection there – time will tell.
The picture quality looks good and you can also digitally zoom in, in this app, which is a nice feature. However, it is digitally, so the quality will reduce as you zoom in, which is the case most cameras at this price range.
The night vision is also very good. I forgot to take a screenshot so I’ll add later.
The notification is a nice feature only if it is your driveway and there are no plants moving. Otherwise, can be quite annoying, so make sure you either aim it only to where it does not catch moving vehicles or you can pay extra and have the area configured in the app.
One thing I like about it is that I can speak to whoever is at my door. Great feature for those who are not home and want to make sure they get their package!
That’s it so far. I will update how it works over time but for the price range it is a good buy for our peace of mind.

This is my second CPVAN security camera, so I knew what I was getting. Cheaper end of the price spectrum, quality pretty good. Longevity questionable. Note: works on 2Ghz WiFi, not 5Ghz. Easy enough to set up

Good camera gone wrong
The cameras is very good and does the job it is supposed to do but downside after nine months it has gone wrong and trying to get it sorted absolute nightmare customer service with the camera company useless no help what so ever ! So need to find another camera from another provider so fifty pounds wasted !!
Super Kamera zum kleinen Preis
Haben die Kamera jetzt seit 5 Monaten im Einsatz. Mussten den Akku jetzt das 2. Mal erst laden. Sehr gute Bildqualitt und luft super zusammen mit dem Handy. Die Videos welche Nachts gemacht werden sind auch von sehr guter Qualitt. Die Kamera lsst sich ganz einfach installieren und die App luft auch super.
Kann diese Kamera echt weiter empfehlen.
echt Drahtlos
Wenn man eine wirklich drahtlose Kamera sucht, um schnell einmal etwas zu berwachen, ist man hiermit gut bedient. Das Akkuaufladen, Installation und Inbetriebnahme hat recht einfach funktioniert. Die Netzqualitt ist auch ohne eigene Aussenantenne gut genug um die Kamera so gut wie berall aufzustellen. Die Akkus funktionieren bisher einwandfrei. Die Bildqualitt auch in der Nacht ist sehr gut. Die Akkus sollen austauschbar sein (18605 – aber nicht nachgeschaut). Gedacht ist die Kamera als Aussentr berwachung, respektive um nchtliche Aktivitten der Gartenfauna zu kontrollieren, dafr sollte sie gut zu gebrauchen sein. Auch ohne Clouddienst verwendbar, geht vieles mit knstlicher Intelligenz leider nur mit zu bezahlenden Abbo.
App keeps closing down.
The camera is OK, but I’m not impressed with the app. It keeps signing me out and by the time I’ve logged back in whoever was in the garden had left. I know it records but the notifications are really slow too, I just wish they would improve the app.
Half of the features don’t work unless you pay for a plan, which to me is a con. We have been away for the weekend and noticed that the camera is just catching an image then then it freezes, not happy with this one little bit and wouldn’t recommend.
Camera
I ordered this product and it came the next morning I was very happy with the service. Camera was really easy to set up and the picture quality is excellent even on standard mode, the motion detection is very good plus having a light and Audible alarm to turn on and off is a nice touch and the night vision is excellent. The activity zone and Al analysis is a monthly or yearly prescription which I didn’t realise but it’s nice to have if you wish to use it.

Good camera's
Good camera’s good detection and picture quality. I bought one for the rear of the house and was impressed so bought one for the front. The alerts are pretty quick and record them so you don’t miss any movement around the zones. They are really easy to set up and don’t have much drain on the batteries but early days but so far so good. I have cpvan alarm in my workshop and have no worries about the quality of the brand. Would recommend.

Benachrichtigung nur mit ABO
Ich habe die Kamera jetzt 7 Tage in Betrieb und bin eigentlich sehr zufrieden.
Das Bild ist scharf und die Bewegungserkennung sehr genau.
Nun aber erhalte ich keine Meldung mehr aufs Handy wenn Bewegung erkannt wurde. Laut der App muss ich diese Funktion wohl zustzlich erwerben.
Ich will keine KI nur die ganz normale Bewegungserkennung und die Benachrichtigung.
So macht die Kamera fr mich keinen Sinn.
Update
Nachdem ich die Kamera resetet habe, funktioniert die Benachrichtigung wieder.
Daher ndere ich meine Bewertung.
Disappointed with the battery life
Nice little camera good quality pictures but disappointed that I am having to charge it up every week. Fully charged on Sunday and 3 days later at 60% charge 🙁
Die Kamera wurde sehr schnell geliefert, die Installation ist denkbar einfach.
Die Bilder haben eine, fr mich, ausreichende Qualitt.
Nachsicht ist gut.
Aber :
Vorgestern Nacht fiel die Temperatur auf 2Grad und promt fiel der Akku von 99 auf 1%.
Also die Kamera reingeholt und geladen.
Dies dauerte schon recht lange.
Am nchsten Morgen dann wurde aufgehangen und da sie sich zwischenzeitlich ausgestellt hatte, musste sie gelscht und neu installiert werden.
Das finde ich nervig und auch nicht so toll, ist das Gert doch fr drauen konzipiert worden.
Sie hngt berdacht und wind geschtzt.
Eigentlich sollte der Akku mit derartigen Temperaturen klarkommen.
Daher einen Stern Abzug.
Die Sprachfunktion ist super leise und fr mich daher leider nicht zu gebrauchen, da etwa 3 m zwischen Kamera und Trchen liegen und meine Worte fr Paketzusteller, etc nicht hrbar sind.
