Great to use. Light is very good. Battery was not included so can’t say anything about it.
Super drill
Once I started to use this brushless drill I wondered why I had ever bothered with the cheaper varieties ! And, actually, this was actually even cheaper than my DIY store earlier purchase ! The lithium batteries from my de Walt drills fitted, of course, so that is no problem. As a diy-er, I have no need for big batteries so with smaller batteries this tool is a delight to handle and handles even drilling into granite with ease.

Great value for money, quality dril
Had a few of these second hand over the years. This model is a cut above. Brushless, clutched drive. Proper power and torque. Less energy loss than the older models, mechanically spot on.
Buy one, you won’t regret it.
I had a cordless Dewalt drill from years ago and whilst it worked ok it was showing its age. The RPM was low and I often found myself having to get a corded drill out and the batteries were unusual (boot shaped) and never lasted long and now even less.
This drill uses the same batteries used by my Dewalt circular saw and jigsaw – I guess I have brought into the Dewalt ecosystem! It is fast enough to take on the jobs I have given it and where in the past I had to resort to a corded tool. The LED light is in just the right place to compensate for any shadow.
I had been thinking about this purchase for nearly a year, wondering whether it was worth it. It was 🙂
Excellent quality
High quality, a bit heavy but you can tell its well made, I already had batteries and charger with an impact driver so it was worth getting the bare unit.

Dewalt is a reliable name for diy or the building site , great drill not heavy when using continuously has a enough grunt for most drilling and screwing jobs

Very good drill for the money. You do get bigger and better drills. But this is all you need for the money.
Modern brushless motor with quite a bit of power.
Perfect for carpenters and fitters. Can handle steel work fine on anything up to 10mm.
Wouldn’t recommend for large spade bits or hole saws. As high power draw from the battery could fry the brains.
And never use it in hammer mode for drilling masonry. The gear box is only plastic and it melts, locking the drill in permanent hammer mode if you use it.
I repair power tools for a living and I see this problem a lot.
Even so. If still recommend this drill for the money. Just make sure you register it for the 3 year warranty. As all brushless tools have a habit of playing up after the 1 year warranty.

Sehr hochwertig aber auch schwe
Ich habe viele Akku Gerte von Dewalt, daher bot es sich an auch beim Schlagbohrschrauber zu wechseln.
Dieser Schrauber ist solider verarbeitet und durch das vollmetallgetriebe sehr robust, aber auch sehr schwer. Gleichzeitig ist er aufgrund der neueren bezahlest Motoren auch krzer als die alten Modelle.
Bei der Auswahl sollte man aber eines beachten, zum Schrank aufbauen kann man den schrauber nicht gebrauchen, da er einfach zu schwer ist.
Wer aber gelegentlich Gartenhuser Terrassen oder carports baut, und selten auch mal in Beton bohren will ist hier genau richtig. Der schrauber hat richtig Leistung, liegt gut in der Hand, und auch die arbeitsbeleuchtung ist super hell.
Als Tip gelegentlich mal unter den Warehouse Deals kucken, wen interessiert schon der original Karton, oder ein kratzerchen bei einem Akkuschrauber? Der kommt eh ganz von allein.

I bought this DeWalt combination drill after extensive research and was not disappointed. The touch sensitive button give excellent control of speed variants and the touch element provides light that I thought I didn’t really need. An excellent product that I would highly recommend.

C’est la deuxime que j’achte, cette perceuse percussion permet de tout faire: vissage, dvissage, perage bois, mtal et bien sr du bton en mode percussions.
La LED prsente est bien pratique pour clairer la zone de travail, avec une batterie 5mAh vous pourrez travailler des heures/jours sans recharger.
La poigne est ergonomique et prsente un trs bon grip. Le mandrin est efficace. Bref un produit Dewalt de qualit comme d’habitude pour cette marque.
J’ai lu certains commentaires concernant l’impossibilit de valid la garantie de 3 ans sur le site Dewalt, sur l’emballage, la provenance… J’ai donc hsit avant de l’acheter. Effectivement le produit reu est un type 1 fabriqu en chine, au lieu d’un type 10 de fabrication europenne, il n’y a aucunes diffrences entre mes deux perceuses, donc sur ce point RAS. Concernant l’emballage, effectivement elle est livre dans un simple plastique et un carton amazon, et non un carton Dewalt, mais l aussi rien d’anormal, Amazon doit acheter des lots afin de rduire les courts. J’ai dj eu ce genre d’emballage sur d’autres sites de revendeurs officiels.
Et pour finir, j’ai pu facilement valider la garantie de 3 ans sur le site dewalt, toutes les informations ncessaires sont bien prsentes sur la perceuse (numro de modle, code date).
Bref que du bon, vous pouvez foncer c’est du trs bon matos que j’utilise depuis des annes et elle permet de tout faire ou presque !
Upgrade from the 776,uses 776 batteries
Nice drill,had a DeWalt dcd 776 motor burned out,it used to be a workhorse,I drilled in to a wall hit a lintel, bent the shaft but lasted 5 years after that incident,so in future for heavy masonry 10mm+ I will use power cord drill,but for 6mm8mm this is fine, just get decent drill bits, this will give you longevity, I really abused my last 1 so I hope to get several years out of it,i will amend if it breaks,
Warning,776 don’t fit, you’ll have a job finding original case, I bought a case for this drill on here,but, the plastic was thin, and the drill just about fitted, so I think the cases on Amazon ain’t authentic,but that’s not fact, just opinio

Great little drill
Using mine as a screwdriver instead of the racket from my Dewalt impact driver best thing about this drill is the light its very handy on the brightest setting and you get around about 10-15 minutes before it starts to flicker before shutting off.

This brushless motor model is smaller and lighter than previous models with the brush motor, but it has all the power you need.
Despite its smaller size the percussion mechanism is far more effective than on my previous bigger DeWalt cordless drill. Happy to recommend this drill.

The drill is strong high torque
The drill is well balanced, works well and smoothly, I have used it to drill concrete, wood, and metal, all with great success, and I of course use it as a screwdriver, all in all I doubt you could find a better drill for the price.

I have many dewalt tools, even the small lightweight atomic drill, i purchased that one as it is stronger and has the hammer drill function which was missing from my line of tools.
Starker Schrauber mit sehr gutem Handling zu günstigem Preis.
Ein Schrauber kommt selten allein. Also wurde nach einem weiteren Ausschau gehalten. Bei diesem Angebot aus UK konnte ich nicht widerstehen.
Zum Gert. Er ist gemessen an seiner Leistung noch recht leicht und klein gehalten. Hier gibt es im billig Segment schlechtere Alternativen oder halt gefhlte Pappschrauber zum anschauen.
Okay er ist ja auch aus dem sogenannten Profi Bereich. Ich schreibe jetzt keine Herstellerangaben ab sondern sage kurz was zu der eigenen Erfahrung mit dem Gert. Beim Bau eines Holzzaunes mussten etliche Schrauben unterschiedlichster Gre eingedreht oder vorgebohrt werden. Hier waren auch schonmal 14mm und 20er Bohrungen mit Schlangenbohrern oder normalen Holzbohrer angesagt. Balken dicke war zwischen 9 und 12 cm. Das beeindruckte ihn aber in keinster Weise. Auch lie die Drehzahl nicht nach.
Auch beim schlagbohren in Beton ohne Bewhrung, Durchmesser 6 und 8mm berzeugte er. Jedoch lassen sich diese Arbeiten mit sogenannten Bohrhmmern schneller erledigen. (egal)
Beim bohren in Feinstein – Zeug mit diversen Bohrern berzeugte er dann noch durch Kondition und Ausdauer. Verwendet hatte ich einen 18v 5ah Akku. Man kann auch einen 54v / 18v aller ah Klassen verwenden (kompatibel) der Mehrwert lohnt das zustzliche Gewicht meines Erachtens aber nicht.
Die Drehmoment Einstellung, sowie die Bohrstufe und Schlagbohrstufe, ist ber einen Drehknopf einstellbar. Das nervt gelegentlich, weil man den Knopf gefhlt ellenlang drehen muss. Das geht bei der Konkurrenz manchmal besser. Hier gibt es einen zustzlichen 3 Wege-Schalter der zwischen schrauben, bohren und schlagbohren entscheidet. Upps, war ich doch schon in die Kritik Spalte geraten?
Nun gut, meckern auf hohem Niveau. Wer schon bei dewalt zu Hause ist und viel bohrt und schraubt kommt langfristig an diesem Schrauber nicht vorbei. Alles in allem ein klasse Schlagbohrschrauber den ich empfehlen kann und natrlich auch selber wieder kaufen wrde. (msste)

c’est puissant (pour du 18 V) ; a perce trs bien. c’est bien pens (clairage : 3 puissance selon besoins)
3 rglages possibles : fonction perage (foret) ou perage bton (marteau) ou vissage (perso, j’utilise une visseuse choc pour visser, question d’habitude) …
mandrin mtal qui se bloque bien.
batterie achete part (4 Ah) trs, trs bien.
bref, un outil de “semi-pro” un un prix “acceptable quand il est en promo”

Lightweight and small with good torque
Changed out my older Black and Decker 18v for the De Walt. Sometimes the locking ring is hard to undo when changing drills or other accessories but that’s probably just me! The drill is just the job making most tasks easy because it is small and lightweight but delivers enough torque to join two 4×4 planks with relative ease

Die Lieferzeit ber Amazon UK trotz Prime unterirdisch! Ganze 6 Wochen. Das geht gar nicht. Das ist kein Service. Bei Bestellung stand der Status auf Versand innerhalb 3- 5 Tagen. Versand wrde aber erst nachweislich nach 5 Wochen. Musste mich 2x beim Amazon Kundendienst beschweren ohne wirklich geholfen zu bekommen.

I use 2AH batteries which have been light to hold and lasted for approx 3-4 days on a full charge. Couldn’t be happier.
Brushless is the way forward!!
I have another De Walt drill that has brushes and a mate recommended the brushless unit to me. I can certainly say that this unit is FAR better than my previous De Walt drill. This has far better control of the speed and the torque is incredible. I use the bluetooth 5AH battery and I have yet to run out of charge when working with this drill. It seems incredibly efficient and just keeps working!

After 8 years my old Dewalt Combi Hammer, has not packed in, just showing signs of age. I will be very pleased if this one lasts as long ( the original batteries lasted about 5 years)
