Important Note:
1） Not Bidirectional, Only for Displayport Computer/Laptop to HDMI Monitor
- It’s not for the monitor with DisplayPort input, it’s an uni-directional adapter.
- Not work with Fire TV Stick, XBOX etc. Which have HDMI output port.
- If your video source is HDMI and monitor is with DisplayPort input. Another solution, HDMI to DisplayPort with external power input is required. Please see the table in the following.
2）Passive Adapter
- Few docking station doesn’t support DP++ Mode. if you are using docking station, we suggest to choose Active DP to HDMI adapter. Please see the table in the following.
3）Not Compatible with USB
- Displayport is different with USB Port. This Adapter is Not compatible with USB Port.

I use this to connect my laptop to my tv and it works amazingly, i haven’t had a single issue.
Used it to connect my hdmi monitor to my displayport graphics card. Everything works absolutely fine. No issues with picture quality at all.
I ordered the wrong product by mistake. I was wanting a USB to HDMI adapter, and thought this was one, as it was listed with others that were. Delivery was quick, and it probably is exactly what it says it is – just no use to me!
The adapter is made of plastic, unfortuately not like Benfei usual metal finish that i am used to, but its well made and not really essential because its installed at the back of my pc.
After installing this adapter, i set the settings to the my monitor max resolution: 3440×1440 100hz, it worked fine, no flickering at all and best of all, i have saved myself a large amount of money by not needing to buy a new monitor!
So before dumping your monitor, try using other ports if you have a similar problem. thanks for reading.
It’s perfectly working on my mini pc to 4k tv. I have failed with a few cables and now this one working perfectly.
It does a great job of reproducing an HDMI signal, from a computer with only a display port. highly recommend
it works as it says you plig it into the display port in your pc and then run the hdmi into it and then into your other monitor which may not have a display port or the display port on it isnt working. i can confirm both monitors i run are on hdmi so it didnt mess with anything and does work for those wondering or finding something for that solution, since mine said no signal when using display on 2 monitors.
eeded this cause my HDMI port on motherboard failed and graphics card only had one port for HDMI as both monitors used this I opted for this and well it worked as nice quick fix
This is an adapter not a converter. You can’t use it to plug a Sky box, HDMI port to a PC monitor display port. Of course it fits but no pictures. My fault, I didn’t read the details correctly.
product arrived the next morning… good shape and nothing missing etc its fully adequate for use
