I’ve been wanting to tackle a rather substantial holly for a while but struggled to reach the top branches even with ladders ,
So onto the gizmo, instructions are beyond useless but easy enough to assemble and work out what does what, a little cumbersome until you get the balance right ,the strap does help , cuts well managed some quite hefty branches ,not sure how long it will last but I’ll only be using it a couple of times a year so didn’t want to be spending a fortune, decent value for the price
Yes it is a little heavy, but nevertheless it is a fine hedge trimmer.
Good to have the motor at the bottom, far better than trimmers with the motor at the top just before the blades.
The extension pole, which is not necessary for most cuts, adds just that bit of versatility.
All in all recommended.
It is heavier than expected but it is also more powerful than lesser rated products.
I used this hedge trimmer for higher pruning that I was finding more and more difficult with my normal short reach trimmer. it took longer to assemble than to do the job I wanted of it because of its reach but more so its power; it just sliced through the upper hedging. It has been a great buy at a great price on Amazon. Very pleased I bought it – should have bought it before!
Arrived on time, very well made, had a huge overgrown hedge to cut, some branches where really thick, absolutely flew through it with ease, would be 5 stars if it wasn’t so heavy, I’m pretty strong and had to stop many times, feel like I’ve been to the gym
Great piece of kit and good quality from this manufacturer and this was by far the best option when comparing other cheaper Chinese models. This machine is very sturdy but it is very heavy to use and is difficult to use over long periods. I love it for its length but it is not the easiest to use.
Compact for transportation with ease of use.
It is easy to use, compact for work, great at cutting fast but gets heavy over time. Remember to clean teeth and blade after each use and take breaks often to alleviate vibration tiredness in arms.

Did the job with ease
Used it to cut the top of a conifer hedge that was well over due trimming.
Managed it without a problem where other hedge trimers have failed.
It was quite heavy but thats to be expected.
Good product, apart from minor quality issues
Good product, and does the job. I chose it, as it was the only one that actually stated the total height the trimmer could go to. Some quality issues (1) on one of the tightening knobs, the thread was too far into the plastic for it to be screwed on. I could have grounded it down, but just found a nut in the garage (2) the spring on the angle-setting lock was too weak, so I had to glue a couple of matchsticks at the back, to give the spring enough strength to push the lock in. Nevertheless happy with its ability. Note: like all extended trimmers, it is heavy (think 6 foot scaffolding pole), so limit cutting to the side, when on a ladder – I moved the ladder, often.
Very good tool
I used it twice to trim hedge and it worked well the more you use it the easier it becomes glad I bought it .
Long Reach Hedge Cutte
I wanted a long reach hedge cutter for a series of hard to reach hedges. I have looked at a few and all of them seem to have motor at the head which makes them top heave and hard to control when fully extended.
This one seems to have a the motor at the base which makes it kind of easy to balance.
It is heavier than I thought it would be and the arms can get tired for the occasional user when used fully extended.
The cutting blades can be tilted but the mechanism looks a bit fiddley and may break if force. Also, the way it stops seems very harsh
Overall I am happy with it and next summer it will get full use !

I bought the mains cable version and it doesn’t get in the way at all.
Happy with performance.
The extended reach and angle settings are excellent.
Balance is decent but laws of physics means the blade feels heavy at times but nothing too bad

much better than i thought it would be. i had only used petrol cutters before which are powerful. this isn’t as good as petrol but being lighter and quieter more than make up for that. i have cut a long beech hedge with it already with no problems i have a conifer hedge to cut later so see how that goes, but i think it will cope. only time and use will tell how good it is. but pleased at this moment in time

usato a lungo al primo utilizzo, sembrava scaldasse ma era forse alla prima accensione. meglio lubrificare spesso. Non pensavo potesse tagliare cos bene e con potenza. Lauro alto 3 mt, con rami spessi e grandi. temevo non funzionasse. Invece quasi al pari di quella a motore alpina che usavo prima con una fatica mostruosa in bilico sulla scala. taglia benissimo anche rami da pi di 2 cm! sorprendente. Ho pi di 150 mt di siepe e la finir tutta con questo.
Nicely balance piece of equipment.
I wanted a pole hedge trimmer that had the motor at one end and the cutting blade(gearbox) at the other. This fitted the bill nicely. My only three criticism are.
1: no real assembly instructions.
2: heavier that I expected.
3: the motor has a lot of torque.
Saying all of that a very nice build quality.
Perfect for old woody hedges
I have tried several long-handled hedge trimmers, corded and cordless. They generally cope with the thinnest branches but baulk at thick, older branches. I have several hedges that are more than 8 foot high and in need of extensive trimming (also some climbing roses that hadn’t been trimmed for a long time), and this Einhell unit was just what I needed. It seems to slice through thick branches with little effort, and without jamming. The unit is easy and quick to assemble. Inevitably there will be some branches that are too thick. For those, a long handled chainsaw such as the Bosch AMW 10 is the more useful tool.

Cumple bien. Le doy descansos para no forzarlo porque hay quien se le ha roto muy pronto, no lo fuerzo en ramas gruesas, pero tallos verdes de unos 1’5 cm los corta bien. Por mucho que se quiera, este tipo de herramientas nunca son cmodas, pero al no tener el motor arriba est ms equilibrada. Estoy satisfecho, Buena compra.
Corta bien y es muy cómoda
Recorta perfectamente las ramas de seto o similar. Es capaz de cortar las ramas con el mismo grueso que puedes cortar con las tijeras de podar (de una mano), hasta 1,5 centmetros aprox. Es muy cmoda, al llevar el motor en la mano la punta no pesa tanto y se puede manejar con el alargador de la prtiga sin problemas

Avevo gi un tagliasiepi telescopico elettrico da 900W. Questo, per, molto pi leggero. La lama taglia la siepe di rododendro come fosse burro. Anche i rami pi grossi. Prodotto consigliato. Falice dell’acquisto.
Arrivato nella sua cofezione e in anticipo , ben imballato, dacile da montare
Al momento l’o solamente assemblato e fatto funzionare senza taglio di siep. Devo dire a mio avviso che il fatto che il motore (molto potante 900 W.) posto all’inizio della barra, dove sono situati gli interruttori di comando, unito alla tracolla, porta il peso maggiore sulla spalla, (a differenza di quelli che il motore il termine barra,e prima delle lame) quindi il peso risulta ben bilanciato. sembra molto robusto e benfatto, con spiegazioni in italiano. Mi riservo per di effettuare nulteriore recensione dopo che l’avr usato sul campo, per due motivi A) non ho ancora tagliato siepi. B) durante il funzionamento e sopratutto allo spegnimento si sente un forte odore di brucio( nelle istruzione riportato che tale fenomeno unito scintille visibili nelle griglie di areazione , risulta essere del tutto normale, in quanto il motore provvisto di un freno elettrico che arresta la corsa delle lame immediatamente al rilascio dell’interruttore di comando, e chre cio non compromette il buon funzionamento. speriamo sia cos.

Delivery was prompt and it was relatively easy to assemble. It is a heavy item to use and you need reasonably good upper-body strength to use it, however with practice it performs really well, doing the job I wanted. Hopefully, it will continue to do so.

Very well made but quite heavy
A very well made and useable piece of equipment but like others have said because it well built it can feel quite heavy when using is certain situations, that said I’d buy it again.

I do not lot of edge but it works well for me and I can alter the length to suit to meet my needs and cuts well

Had a previous one which did not last as long as I hoped but needed urgently, so thought I could use old one for parts.
Excellent machine, competitively priced
I chose this hedge cutter having used one previously. It is very powerful and cuts my boundary hedges
containing all sorts of plants including Holly & Leylandii with ease. It is quite heavy but quite well balanced
and comes with a strap which helps to spread the load. In my opinion it is good value for money.

Well made
A pole trimmer is by nature an unwieldy beast. It doesnt help that this one is also quite heavy. However, it does the job well. If you only have a few bits of tall cutting, it’s fine. If you have a lot, you might want to find one with less weight.

I was looking for a long handles hedge trimmer for a series of large elevated jobs in the garden. This product is ideal for the job. No complaints. It’s also good value for money. I didn’t want the hassle of a petrol driven device. They are too heavy, too noisy, unreliable after the first couple of uses and too expensive. OK – I have to be careful not to cut through the mains cable but that’s not difficult. With a little care and common sense it was as ‘safe as houses.’. If you need a long armed trimmer – buy one!

The trimmer is very well engineered but quite heavy when used with the extension. I was very impressed when it cut easily through some quite thick shoots on a Griselinia, a very hard shrub.

un buon accessorio da giardino
Cercavo qualcosa che mi facesse risparmiare i soldi del giardiniere e anche fare meno fatica!!!! di sicuro molto pi valido di una semplice sega in quanto con le varie angolazioni riesce a tagliare la siepe in ogni sua parte ma con un po di fatica in quanto dopo un utilizzo un po prolungato inizia pesare .. per sono soddisfatto dell’acquisto !!!!

Well it wasn’t good, it was fabulous!!!! It did the whole thing in about an hour compared to two or three times that previously. It is well balanced, powerful, easy to extend or shorten, and the cutting head can be altered to suit the area being cut with ease. I cannot recommend this machine highly enough.

However, once assembled it works well. A small supply of M6 nuts would be my suggestion as they are used to clamp the various shafts together. From experience, they are easily lost. Yes, it is rather heavy for those not in the first flush of youth, but the shoulder harness is useful.

Le poids, au niveau de la poignée par rapport à d'autre modèle, qui se trouve en bout de perche.
Taille de mes haies de cyprs ( environ 2m de hauteur et 1 m de large) Taille haie qui fait parfaitement son travail, si on ne demande pas de couper des branches de 2 cm.Je suis trs satisfait de cet achat et montage des rallonges est trs facile

Macht was sie sie soll. alles bestens. Interessant jedoch, dass sie wirklich zu 100% (ok, die Gehusefarbe ist anders) baugleich mit der Stabheckenschere von Aldi-Sd von 2016 (glaub ich) ist. Diese hat dieses Frhjahr den Geist aufgegeben. Daher habe ich den Vergleich. Praktisch, dass wirklich alles an Zubehr/Erweiterungen nun auch auf die Einhell passt. 😉

With the extension it was more challenging to balance the weight. I only got to use it for 5 min. My helpers got frustrated watching the newbie learn and removed it from me. I swear they just wanted to play with it. They did rave about how good it was. I got to clean up.

Fcil montaje y utilizacin. Hasta la fecha la he utilizado poco y no he encontrado nada en contra.
Il y a trs peu de taille haie perche lectrique avec le moteur la poigne. Celui-ci est trs bien. Il n’est pas lger, il est mme plus lord que mon petit taille haie main. Mais on n’a pas tout le poids bout de bras de ce fait j’ai eu moins de difficults et moins mal aux bras en taillant ma haie avec ce taille perche. Perso j’en suis ravie et la poigne pivotante c’est trs pratique. Je recommande
