| Ensure the surface you are applying the sealant/adhesive to is completely clean with no dust. Then cut off the end of the sealant nozzle at a 45 degree angle. | Insert the cartridge into the sealant gun and practise using it on old newspaper. You will want to get the hang of applying the sealant in even quantities. Be careful not to squeeze the trigger too hard or the sealant will shoot out. Be gentle and increase pressure gradually. | Place the nozzle of the tube against the surface of where you want the sealant/adhesive applied and gently squeeze the trigger as you have practised. Holding the gun at a 45 degree angle, move it along the length of the area you want bonded once the sealant starts to come out of the nozzle. | Once you have finished, press the release catch at the back of the sealant gun which will stop all pressure on the tube. |

What a great product.
If you are looking for something to cut hair, it’s rubbish.
If you are looking for something to paint a dog blue, this is rubbish.
If you are looking to join NASA and want to study aeronautical engineering, this won’t help you at all.
It does caulk very well.
Needed to watch a video on how to use it with the caulk cartridge but after I knew how it was really easy.
I’ve finished caulking the skirting boards and doorframes of one room and its still going strong.
Iv managed to break almost every single one of these iv ever owned.
This one isn’t broken yet so I absolutely have to give it five stars for that reason alone.

Good, but one part is weak
The small metal plate on the back is the only weak point in this and will eventual bend making the entire thing useless. But for the price and if you try not to bend this part it should last a long time

Sturdy just make sure when you stop click the release to stop the drip. If you can’t remember spend more for a drip less. Ive gone through 4 caulking tubes since I’ve had it and it’s still brand new.

I’ve never used one of these before, but this is very straightforward and easy to use. Seems like a good quality product, so I’m very happy with my purchase.

Good enough quality for price
cartridge fits in ok 299ml size, a bit of movement, but still sturdy and locked in not to fall out and so job

I did read in Q&A section before buying that it is made of metal, but there is metal and there is metal, i have seen my share of flimsy contraptions sold here. Not this one, super stable, super sturdy, firm, great solid make, works like a dream. I have never done sealing of window frames before, normally get Dad to do it, but since he is on the other side of the planet and it is not an option did it myself. Easy to use even for a complete novice like myself. i did have to ask Dad how to add the sealant cartridge in as the pack didnt really have any instructions, but there are plenty of youtube videos to that effect if you dont have Dad handy with advice. Highly recommend.

Good Caulking gu
Good for UniBond Triple Protection sealant. Before buying a new sealant, measure the height and make sure the height is 22cm or below.
Very good strong sealant gun for standard size sealant.
Provides good tension on the sealant so remember to release the spring . I bought a plastic one before ….never again . The adage….you get what you pay for .

However, with the benefit of hindsight, I wish I had done more research into the different types of models before deciding on which one to buy. I wasn’t aware that some guns comes with a sprout cutter, a puncture and a hook end for you to hang it against a wall. This one only comes with a puncture. It does not come with a sprout cutter. The puncture doesn’t seem to work which is probably because the seal is made of thick plastic making it impossible to pierce it open with the puncture, so in the end I had to use a knife to saw off the seal. It has a good grip, but would probably be better if the handle had a rubber covering to provide a better grip. I was going to buy a slightly more expensive model, but I’m glad I went with this instead, saving me a few quid. It’s very easy and simple to use – just do a search on YouTube for demonstration videos on how to use it.

Good buy
I used this both for silicone sealant and ready-to-use cement, worked well on both, good quality especially for the price. Highly recommended.

I used it for applying silicon around kitchen. Really helpful and does the job.

It's an application gun that works
There’s not much to say about this. It does what it’s supposed to, loads easy, triggers well and does the job for a good price.
Exactly what I needed
Gone through several tubes of silicone and this has held up really well. Strong, sturdy and easy to use. If I was to sugest any improvement it would be for the handles to have a better grip but otherwise all good.

Good traditional filler gun and made of metal. Also has a pressure release tab so you don’t waste filler. Only 4 stars because the frame is open and the filler tube does move a little, especially when you get near empty, but it’s not a deal breake

The applicator is well made compared to ones you could get in pound shops cheap type stores. The sealant/caulking tubes fit in and are stable. all parts are solidly made and tradesperson would find this a very worthwhile to have. You won’t need to get another one if you look after this one and clean after use. Happy to recommend it.
Ps I’ve had this awhile now, the little cap end that goes into a tube has rusted and the rod too where the ratchet mechanism. I cleaned up these with abrasive paper and then put some oil/lubricant to free up the mechanism, it still works well and recommend it, but keep it in a dry place and lubricate it occasionally.
