Nice audio
I’m running windows so a little bit of tweaking of settings (not the devices issue) and did take a little bit of playing with settings in discord. But the device itself feels heavy and robust, very quick to set up. Nice long and durable beaded cable with good connections. The touch sensitive button is very responsive making it very quick to mute/unmute, and the red glow is great as a reminder that the mic is either on or off. As for the sound quality it is excellent for gaming and streaming, is sensitive but without picking up background noise and produces a nice warm output. Very satisfied with it.

Great mic for streaming
I needed a microphone that I could use for normal gaming streams, as well as ASMR. This fit the bill and didn’t cost as much as other brands. I’m very happy with the quality. Definitely my best buy this year.

I will also say that the mic does repeat back to you as it is a studio/streaming mic but it’s in real time with no delay which is a feature I’ve grown to like. As while using sound proff headphones. My voice is muffled and struggle to pronounce certain things. This will help with mic control and while talking in a crowded chat you will know if you are lower or higher in volume than others.

Great mic, but would be better if omi directional received a wider angle. If I’m not talking directly at the centre of the mic then it cuts the vocals

You can immediately tell the difference to sound quality over any headset mic.
Just plug and play, no need to mess with any software to get clear voice that isn’t compressed or too tinny.
Sensitivity on max level can pick up almost every sound in its range, I mostly use it on the lowest sensitivity.

Overall it’s quite a good product, but I keep having small issues with it, like it occasionally picking up too much sound, background noise or buzzing, having crackling (might just be a wire) and I expected to have more control over the microphone settings.

Being a long time hyperx fan, this purchase did not disappoit! very well made, feels sturdy and has amazing sound. Was choosing between blue yeti and quadcast, this sounds the same if not better, and its design is at least ten times better! Decent for asmr too!

After a few recommendations and watching some video’s online of its performance it hasn’t left me disappointed at. It was expensive and more than I wanted to pay but then how much more was I going to spend before I could of just bought this one and saved myself money.

Looks and feels very solid and professional and I like the red glow when it’s not muted which is a great visual reminder.
I also like that you just tap the top to mute / unmute (this mutes the microphone, it doesn’t toggle mute in the software but it’s the same difference.)
A bit pricey but you get what you pay for and I don’t anticipate having to replace this.

I loved this microphone, I used it a couple of time for recording and discord and I never had a microphone before so I didn’t know what type to buy and after some research I bought this one and I highly recommended it, it works with everything and has many different settings.

Switched from a headset mic to the HyperX due to quite a bit of static feedback when recording/ chatting in game. Everyone I’ve spoken to whilst using this has mentioned how drastic an improvement in sound, quality and clarity. Simple to set up with no drivers to download. Safe to say when this one runs it course and gets old I’ll be buying whatever the latest version of this will be

Comes with its own desk top stand, but we easily fitted it to his old blue yeti mic stand. Both ways of using it you can see in the pics I’ve added. At first we were really hesitant in getting him another microphone. But glad we did, as he has stopped moaning about the quality issues of his last one. This one is also a neater design and much easier to run the duster over quickly lol

Perhaps it would be beneficial to get the RGB version if you’re bothered about the constant red glow that this produces as that can be off putting, depending on your lighting and monitor reflection (if any)

Seems to be mountable to both of my generic mic booms. (standard fitment).
Cabling is sturdy and long enough.

Not perfect but good value for the price.
First of all, it’s a brilliant design. I can both use it on its stand and also quite easy to mount on the microphone arm. The sound quality is great. But it’s very sensitive, so it needs fine tuning on record. The “tapping to mute” is a great feature. The light is very useful as a visual signal but sometimes it turns on for no reason in the middle of night.

The mic (USB) has everything on-board regarding functionality. A very responsive gain control is added to a 4-function mode switch giving you a mic for any occasion all connected to one USB plug. My laptop breathed an audible sigh of relief.
My favourite function is the red glow the mic produces when it is live. No more accidental open mics!

Got this as I wanted a mic upgrade. It looks great on stream, has a nice red light to indict if it’s on or muted. I love how I can just tap the top of the mic to mute and unmute. All rounded good mic, have recommended to my streamer friends too.

I’ve tried a lot of microphones in the past but for my preference this is the best for me. Very good audio quality, it has everything that I need to record my YouTube videos I like how it comes with a shock mount and a built in pop filter. It’s a really good microphone for its value. I used to use a Blue Yeti microphone and I prefer this microphone over the Yeti.

Bought for my fiance for his birthday and he absolutely loves it… Made absolutely 0 difference in the volume he plays games at (with all his screaming and shouting), but definately improved things on the recieving end for his friends. It also has a touch mute (if you tap the top of it with your finger it mutes and unmutes, which turns the light off or on), which is great fun for me when he’s in the middle of a game 🙂 …so overall a happy investment.

The sound is great but background noise is there
One of the key reasons i wanted to purchase this microphone in particular was for the good things i head regarding the sound quality and background noise cut out. While the sound is brilliant for this mic both close up and at a distance, it is very sensitive and will pick up all noises close by. If you are using a mechanical keyboard and want to use this mic for streaming then bare in mind your keyboard WILL be clearly heard on stream.
The red light makes it look and feel very professional but can at times be a little in your face however this isnt something that bothers me but can be bothersome for certain people so bare that in mind. Once the mic is muted the light is completely off.
Recommendation is to try not to put the gain above the second or third setting at most and always keep an eye on it as if the mic is touched it is very easy to accidentally adjust it without realizing. i do 100% recommend this mic so long as the above doesnt bother you too much as the sound quality is as good/better than most other USB mics especially for the price range.

This is my first hyperx product and after looking around at other options for this price range I think I made the right choice choosing this one, the microphone quality is amazing, originally I have been using microphones on headsets but they just don’t compare.

The shock mount also is included with the microphone from streaming blocks the majority of the vibrations that occur when I type.

Very nice voice quality. Extremely nice design. Mute light is a beautiful touch. Didn’t fit my Mic Arm initially, but came with parts that fit perfectly to enable the Mic to fit. feels like it’s worth more than I paid. Stand feels very premium. Extremely happy with my purchase.

It’s a great mic for its price, voice is clear and well heard, if you’re looking for professional use, I would say it’s a maybe, but if you’re a streamer then I’d recommend it.

This mic is probably the best USB mic out there. You can just plug it in and the sound is amazing. I am using it to stream with OBS and after a bit of tweaking with the sound settings it sounds just as good as a professional mic.
If you want to have a clear nice voice streaming, talking to your friends or recording for YouTube without the hastle of a mixer then this is the way to go.
Also it looks amazing. I love it.

The sound quality is excellent but needs some time to adjust it. Pay attention that it will catch all the sounds from your room. If you need a good quality record you have to close the windows and keep your computer unit or laptop away of it. The fans from your units will create a background sound and you will not know the source of it until you will remove it.

I upgraded from my old faithful Yeti of 4 years to this mic as a treat to myself as I am using video conferencing a lot more lately, as well as wanting an upgrade to my audio quality in game streaming.
The sound quality is amazing. It captures a very broad frequency range, keeping “fullness” and a nice bright sound across everything you utter into it. Whether you be shouting or whispering.
At higher than 75% gain levels though, there is a lot of static and mess picked up. I’d recommend keeping it around 50% gain, 100% gain in Windows, and using Discord or voicemeeter to adjust the actual recording level of the mic.
The build quality out of the box feels amazing. There was an aweful lot of weight to the mic. until that is you remove the included stand to put the mic on a boom, where you will realise it is EXTREMELY light weight. This is good for the boom arm, but it does make the product feel very cheap given what you are paying for it. Such a wicked mic, I’ve used it for podcasts, recording vocals and recording acoustic guitar. It’s a great mic well worth the money.

Well worth the wait as it was out of stock when we ordered it. But it came into stock within a week. My son loves this and says it’s an amazing microphone. And is the envy of his friends now he has it.
Interference
Not really a review but looking for help. I bought the mic and have been using it for streaming and gaming with friends. It’s a good mic and I recommend it, however there is a feedback/interference buzzing noise that my friends can hear but I can’t unless listened back to. I’ve tested my phone and wireless headset next to it but can’t seem to find the problem, if the seller sees this can you please contact me and help me find out the problem. Thank you

Sound is clear enough but not crystal clear like people say, you would need extra things to help with that like an amp+dac with mic input or a good motherboard as mines is to old which may be the problem, friends say it feels like a podcasty sound, little muffled but clearer than any headset mic i’v had at least. I also have this on full gain and vol level due to my MB or something making my mics sound quiet (i recently updated my realtek drivers and that when things screwed up my microphone loudness) so friends have got me on 150% vol on discord which isnt good :/.

My old mic was starting to show its age (it was cheap and cheerful), so thought l would get something that might last and maybe be good. This mic ticks all the boxes, great sound quality, good build and just works out of the box (thats why you go USB mic l guess). With a couple small tweaks you can get this sounding top tier!

It's everything you could want for anything.
I can’t comment on this item from amazon because mine never turned up. I had to buy from a shop, but I’m giving a review as it’s all the same from a shop or amazon. Its extremely high sound quality, great build quality, looks stunning. I use mine for ps4 and pc. Its extremely easy to set up on ps4. Only down side is if you don’t plug your headset in the the microphone you can’t hear yourself so you can’t tell if your shouting 🙂 the touch mute microphone is a great feature

My son uses this for his pc gaming etc. He says its “Sick”. In our language i think thats very good! It looks very slick and has been very well made. I cant fault the mic quality either. The item gets a top score from my son which is rare. Worth it.
The mute button is a great feature and I would recommend this microphone but the knob at the back of the microphone is not the best as I have to turn the mic around but other than that is is a very good product.

Setup was no more than the time it takes for my pc to turn on and make the cables hidden, amazing sound clarity and have recommended this to multiple others. 5/7 full marks

If you are a content creator for YouTube as I am (The Restless Natives) and you use a Blue Yeti which is the usual standard, then you should buy this mic.
Firstly this mic has all the same settings as you would have on the Yeti, but how does the sound compare. Seriously this mic blows the blue yeti out of the water. The blue yeti has awesome audio capture, but this piece of kit is on another level. Beautiful low and mid tones, crisp high tones and overall stunning clarity.
There is a gain slide on the bottom of the mic which helps with being further away from the mic, however, remember more gain equals more white noise and background unwanted audio. As standard this mic is fitted with a shock mount and internal pop filter, but I do recommend an external pop filter if you are going to be close to the mic.
The design is stunning, you are supplied with a mic stand / arm attachment so if you are streaming its all ready to go. The mute button is a great feature, you just tap the top and away you go, the mic led turns off so you know its muted.
Overall this mic is brilliant and after using it I can honestly say I would have paid double for this quality.
