A1 quality , 130 bar is a good pressure but wouldnt go any lowe
The patio cleaner isn’t great , but that depends if you removing heavy moss but its ok on lightly soiked slabs . The hose needs to be rubber and not the very stiff plastic . Its awkward to unwind and constantly wants to follow its natural coil when in use
Easy to setup and use
This is my second Karcher power washer. Works well enough, I like the new pressure indicator on the handle. My only gripe is the pressure hose is like a coiled spring, my last one didn’t have this problem. At the end of the day it does the job.

Purchased this after my existing power washer died. Researched showed this to be the best in comparison to my much older previous one.
Once it arrived, attempted to put it together – took a little while after figuring out the not fantastic instructions, I used logistical guesswork(!)
Once up and running, works brilliantly, good to have both styles of lances, ever bit as good as the previous one, plus a good carry/drag handle to save physically lifting it.
Only thing that it does offer that I feel isn’t really much use is the option to download an app which suggests power modes to use depending on your requirements.

Reason for 4* is the crappy hose, but that isn’t the end of the world, performed brilliantly while cleaning both company vehicles, so overall its a worthwhile purchase

Good news for anyone thinking of purchasing this pressure washer, I received this on time with no damage to the box or anything inside of the box as seen with some of the other reviews ! The pressure washer works flawlessly and is ideal for the car detailing I intend to use it for. over all I have had a very good experience and would not hesitate to buy another one.

Powerful enough for dirty patio
I need a long hose from the outside tap to reach parts of my drive. The water pressure to the K4 is not the best but this doesn’t seem to affect the power of the jet and it works fine.

Adequately very bright. Suspect battery life.
Certainly illuminates well, even on a dark, rainy, rural night with no road markings. You cab still clearly make out the ditch from the road. Cars dip their lights straight away.
Although, this is the 2nd one of these I’ve had. The first one gave me in excess of 5 Hours at full brightness, this one only 3 Hours.
The 1st one lasted approx 25 sessions of 3 Hour rides. It died due to the on/off switch breaking internally. I did toggle to settings sometimes during my ride to suit the conditions, so my concern would be the durability of it.
Both developed a rattle within their first few uses. This was overcome by undoing the screws on the back and wedging a thin bit of card down the edge of the battery. This will invalidate your guarentee though.
But despite this, I find it value for money and impressively bright.

In general, the k4 is an excellent piece of kit for car cleaning and blasting dirt from composite decking, which is why I bought it after my k2 gave up. Sadly, the T-racer from the k2 doesn’t fit but I should be ok with the high power lance. The adjustable lance is a game changer for me as it’s so versatile for different applications. The hose, on the other hand is both brilliant and awful at the same time. The extra length is terrific but it kinks like a demented snake. Apparently the hoses on the k5 upwards are much better and I don’t know why these ‘better’ hoses aren’t provided with the more budget cleaners although they’re hardly budget in the first place. But for the hose, this cleaner would be perfect. Too bad

Completely satisfied
Works really well as a power washer, however, I purchased the soap bottle dispenser separately and tried using it to wash my car as directed. Absolutely rubbish, it used half of the soap bottle in 1 wash. Avoid purchasing the soap bottle as at 6 per bottle it’s not fit for purpose.

Don’t bother with a Karcher snow foam gun it’s not great, buy a dedicated valeters one for the same price.

Hope this K4 lasts as long. It’s much quieter than my old washer and more powerful. Cleaned the terrace in much less time. Nice to have the adjustable Lance for car cleaning. Would definitely recommend.

Great product, went for this model as had an older version before, did find the instructions a little confusing and very small illustrations other than that Happy with product and price.
Very Powerful and versatile
I bought this to replace a diesel powered Karcher which no longer fitted my requirements.
Even though this one does not have a hot function, it fits my needs very very adequately

Used this several times now. No idea how to use the app with it. I just have it full beans all the time. Pretty sure the app is just a gimmick. But it does the job i expected it to do. Since ive had karchers all my life. My kids keep leaving water in them over winter, freezes and bursts the hose seals. So beware frost with these things.

Nice updated model.
I had my previous Karcher for a lot of years and as usual the model and relevant spares are unavailable. I asked for a recommendation from our local agent and he said the K4 would suit my needs. How right he was it’s excellent, my favourite feature is that it’s self contained and compact. It’s powerful and it’s really superb in my opinion.

Great purchase. Had to turn it on the lowest power to stop it removing all my glittery grout on my porcelain slabs as it is so powerful. Don’t listen to the negative reviews about assembling just read the instructions properly and it will take around 5 mins to do. First Karcher product I’ve bought really pleased

Absolutely amazing pressure washer. Cleans patio and bricks really well – very easy to assemble and use. The pressure gauge is useful and the attachments are all equally good for different tasks. Patio cleaner attachment is a personal favourite! Definitely recommend.

fits the old accessories , dont get the point of the App thats available or the fancy handle display which only works of the back pressure from adjusting the nozzle manually
but yes a good quality powerfull washer ideal for cleaning the car, patio or even the windows and gutters
only downside is having to attach all the parts

The assembly instructions are poor for a top of range machine. When assembling I had two screws left over. Once it was up an running it worked great. It comes with a patio and car cleaning solution. Adding the cleaning solution it just a matter of plugging and unplugging it into the machine. I was toying with the idea of getting a power washer for a while and after doing a lot of research between different brands in a similar price range I finally bit the bullet and decided on the karcher K4 premium power control home and car kit pressure washer with hose reel included.
What can I say, excellent piece of kit with all the accessories you could possibly need to get the job done. The washer was easy to assemble it took me around 10 minutes.
I also recommend this kit as it comes with the additional hose reel on the back of the power washer and the other models without the car and home kit do not include this. It really helps when your finished to pack away nice and tidy with no cables sticking out.
So far I have only used the mud blaster attachment to clean the pavers out in my back garden and it did an excellent job of that, light work and they came up like new.
I cannot comment on the rest of the accessories as I have not yet used them all but so far so good. It’s a 10/10 from me offering great value for money.

It’s tricky to install and ours has a lump out if the wheel where someone tried before us. It’s also scuffed and dinted on the side. Again where some one tried and failed to install it. Would NOT recommend this seller! Not sending it back as the damage isn’t detrimental BUT very disappointed.

Have used 4 times now and must admit i’m impressed with the ability of this Karcher, Excellent on cleaning paving and must recommend the patio cleaner (saves so much time) So far very pleased.

Had one of these Karcher washers about 7 years ago which was good but unfortunately it started to leak so decided on a new on. Absolutely brilliant washed my block paving come up like new.

Just bought this pressure washer along with the telescopic Lance extension to clean my guttering and soffits. It all worked fine and did the job as expected, The washer I felt was expensive compared with alternatives at the same pressure level and if I had not needed the lance extension , which I could not find from an alternative make I would have bought a cheaper less well known model which I feel would have performed as well for most of the sort of things I will use it for. Karcher are the market leader and I feel price their stuff accordingly, but in practise probably doesn’t perform any better than cheaper alternatives.

A good domestic pressure washed
This is a good pressure washer particularly for patio paving and general washing of furniture. It is quite cumbersome and very heavy. I don’t know why the wheels are so small as to be barely functional especially for those of above average height.

This product was easy to assemble Randy excellent to use. The wheels make it easy to manoeuvre the long pressure tube makes it easy to reach what you need. You can vary the pressure from very harsh to light depending on the surface you are cleaning. No drawbacks yet I can see. I’m happy I bought this.

from stained patio to dirty car. Very good pressure. Happy with it. Don’t buy anything cheaper or higher than the K4 as this is the perfect pressure for all kinds. You will not be disappointed!

It arrived on time and was well packed it took me about half an hour to assemble I have not used it yet but so far so good I also agree with other reviewers that it could easily be delivered assembled and also I cant see why Karcher don’t include a detergent bottle? O” and the assembly instructions are a bit poor. But overall 9/10. Well I used it for the first time today drawing water from a water but and I was well pleased it performed perfectly washed off my mountain bike easy and cleaned the back yard concrete it did a perfect job. It could do with a reel for the cable and hose but not a big deal overall 9/10

Karcher K4 is the best high pressure power washer I have used
The Karcher 4 did an excellent job of cleaning my back garden patio and garden path and also my front garden block paving. I have now used it to clean my car and found the attachments very useful.

Useful garden cleane
Easy to use pressure washer for most surfaces in garden and the car. Have had issues in past with lack of pressure on older machines but purchased larger diameter hose 3/4″ as opposed to standard garden 1/2″ hose and all seems fine.

Found the assembly a bit tricky but once up and running it does what it is supposed to do.
Made a great job of cleaning a heavily green algae covered path.

What a superb tool, assembled quickly 15 minutes.
Powerful and controllable, had my previous powerwash over 20 years and that was good, this one is brilliant, cleaned the drive in under 20 minutes, previously took an hour.

I gave in in the end and replaced my 10 year old Karcher K2 pressure washer reluctantly. However I am impressed with the quality and how quite this K4 is. The only disappointment is the detergent dispenser! Has to be a Karcher bottle instead of filling a dispenser tank, but I can work around this :-).

Good replacement for an older Karcher. Very powerful, and especially good at cleaning flagstones. A bit cumbersome, but very versatile.

For me it cut a 4 to 5 hour job down to about 2 hours and the patio looks great. I really recommend this. Well made, works very effectively and came the day after I ordered it.

brilliant really powerful and really cleans, although my dad complained it took him an hour to put it together lol. worth it though.
The power is good…great for washing the car and I used a snow lance with it which worked well. Two things that could be improved. The hose has a memory which is uncontrollable…I wrestled with mine for 20 minutes and I still cant get the twists out of it . Surely there is a better solution. However if you really want a clean patio.with no black spot or algae………the best thing to do is not to pressure wash it ………..especially if it is stone . Use Sodium Hypochlorite spay it on with a pump sprayer diluted ( see you tube) the remove it gently with your power washer not on full blast.
The power is good…great for washing the car and I used a snow lance with it which worked well. Two things that could be improved. The hose has a memory which is uncontrollable…I wrestled with mine for 20 minutes and I still cant get the twists out of it . Surely there is a better solution. Powerful and both the lance and the patio cleaning attachment did a fabulous job of cleaning a very dirty patio.
This would have taken forever with my old power washer.

Good - but soap dispenser seems suspect!
Pretty good – seems high quality and durable – couldn’t get the soap dispenser to work – inverted the soap bottle into the dispenser holder – but no soap came out of the pressure wand – no big deal I guess – the foam gun worked fine (though the soap reservoir is a bit small)
Very good product.
Easy to assemble. Having wheels on it helps when needing to move it as it is quite heavy. Very easy to use. Patio and driveway came up a treat, also used to clean car. Noise level is lower than other pressure washers I’ve used.

First off it feels great, sturdy and feels like it would hold up to any job. I’ve tried it and again it inspires confidence in what you are using. It quieter than my not so old Nilfisk jet washer (never again will I buy a Nilfisk jet washer) I pleasantly surprised with my purchase. Sadly theres no soap bottle with it which I’m surprised as most seam to come with even a basic bottle to use. I’ve no down side to review other than no bottle.

This replaced an older model of Karcher and it is more user friendly, more compact, quieter and came with good attachments. All work well, easy to use and can be adjusted readily to suit job in hand.

Assembly of the product was reasonably simple, it is quite heavy to manoeuvre but really doable. All that said it is really easy to use and the end result is brilliant.
Some assembly is required, have your cross-head screwdrivers ready. The instructions are pretty clear but are disappointingly black and white and printed rather small on cheap paper. The routing of the pressure hose through the body of the washer was rather fiddly and almost impossible to do without kinking the pipe, but it didn’t affect the function once done.
The unit needs to be fairly near to an electrical socket as the cable isn’t over long, but it makes up for that with the massive washer hose.
I switched on the unit with the rotary switch and it remained silent. Nothing happens until you press the trigger on the wand. Then you get a real surprise. I didn’t expect it to be so quiet.
The pressure of the jet is adjusted by twisting the wand, thinner jet=more power, wider jet= gentler flow. There’s an indicator near the trigger which shows the level of pressure as you adjust the flow.
I’ve included a video of this in action, also showing how easy it was to remove the winter’s green stains from my slabs.
I look forward to using this on the rest of the yard and may even try washing the car with it, it’s so controllable.
My only gripe is with the instructions again. I think it’s a generic sheet for a number of models and shows how to fit various accessories, like a rotary brush and a detergent reservoir, neither of which are included with this model. I found this a little confusing, misleading and disappointing. That apart, I cannot fault the engineering which goes into Karcher products and thoroughly recommend this one.

Assembly

The pressure washer came securely packed and required a degree of assembly to connect the hose, attach the wheels and to assemble the handle. You will require a Philips/cross head screwdriver for the handle only. Assembly takes 5 minutes.
Once assembled you are presented with the Karcher pressure washer as illustrated. Setting up for use requires you to connect a water and power supply.
Operation
========
There are two separate controls, both of which are simple to operate. An rotary on/off switch on the main body of the washer and a separate 4 option control on the spray wand; this allows for variable spray pressure for hard substances such as paving through to soft timber, such as garden furniture (easy to operate rotary controller with a graphic display). Additionally there is a separate high pressure lance which directs a more concentrated and powerful jet for hard or stubborn stains. Personally I found that the variable lance offers sufficient force to tackle the majority of jobs, including removing heavy deposits off car alloy wheels. Both lances are easy to remove and secure.
The Krcher K4 comes with the added Plug and Clean system whereby you can attach a bottle of concentrated detergent or similar which will be mixed in the machine and delivered under pressure. It is a significant advance on previous models where there was an option to insert a pipe to draw the concentrate into the washer. I have used the car cleaner and found that it used the concentrate far quicker than I felt was necessary and therefore I would suggest that you experiment with concentration and do not attach a full bottle the first time you use it. I found that diluting the concentrate at a rate of 5:1 was more than sufficient to coat my car in foam: you just need to decant the remaining 80% into a separate container for future use. I would also recommend that you purchase at least one of these bottles of detergent should you wish to use your own detergent in the future. as you will need a dedicated bottle
Functionality
==========
The washer supplied to me was not the upgraded model as advertised and did not have the retractable hose . In all other respects though pressure output is the same and the model is fully functional. It works really well, the 8 metre hose and 5 metre power cable permits me to access all sides of two family saloons parked parallel on my drive.
The unit is not exceptionally heavy, in fact the weight is quite reassuring. My wife commented that it was quite heavy, but not excessively and her only reservation would be lifting it any height (11.5kg)
Storage is relatively simple. The hose and power cable pack neatly to the rear and the wands are held securely at the front of the main unit.
The Krcher App
=============
The Krcher app is only used on this model to register purchase and to provide guides and tips, although higher spec models allow the app to control certain settings. A useful product guide which saves having to search for the manual if you wish to confirm any element of operation.
Overall
=====
A powerful mid range power washer which is ideal for the average home. There are more powerful models and those which are less powerful and smaller. For our home, this item is more than adequate for cleaning cars, which I suspect will be used for regularly, combined with annual cleaning of our patios and garden furniture. It has the added bonus of possessing two wands, a very high pressure washer and the much more convenient variable wand with four easy to control settings.
