I’ve used it to strip wallpaper (needs extra attachement not included), clean a bathroom, clean windows and help valet a car full of mould. This steamer is a nifty bit of kit. No job too big. Very handy to have around the house

One year in - best steamer I've ever owned...
I’ve had this steamer for just over a year now and I still think it’s as amazing as the first time I used it.
This is unlike any steamer I’ve had before (I’ve had a few)… the warm up time is insanely fast, and unlike many others it doesn’t cough and splutter boiling water out when it says it’s ready, it’s just very high pressure steam as soon as it’s up to temperature.
The steam is of a very high temperature, this means floors dry almost immediately.
Being able to fill it with more water as you go is amazing, when it wants more water the steam will stop, but as soon as you add more it’s ready to go. No waiting for it to cool down and open what feels like an 80’s pressure cooker to add more water in.
The tools are amazingly strong and well built, even with both extension poles added there’s practically no flexing.
It’s a shame it doesn’t come with the window/glass attachment as this is amazing, especially on shower screens.
I did consider buying the model up with the cold water shot, which would be good for rinsing, but you could only really use that over a bath or shower? so didn’t…
I couldn’t recommend this steamer more! I just wish it came with the glass attachment and more cleaning pads.

It is not universal answer for everything, but definitely helpful for various tasks (even steaming clothes). Starts very fast and has various accessories in box.
Be aware that it might spit out water at the beginning, but then runs fine.

Lacks powe
A nice product but lacks pressure especially when using the longest tubes on the floor. When starting up the machine from a previous use it pours water from the nozzle before the steam is ready (while holding the trigger)

I was initially a little worried by some of the other reviews. I can only suppose that either they have allowed the device to boil dry or failed to set the water hardness and “rocked” up the element.
It works easily and quickly, and really lifts the grease and grime. I was recommend this product.

Incredible
I’m living on a military camp, and for those who don’t know what the living conditions are like it’s grim. Got this steamer to hopefully clean the hard to reach areas and clear the grime and mould and lime scale etc in the bathroom. And without any effort, this product removed it all! No hassle no effort. So easy to use, so effective and bonus, no chemicals needed. Well worth the money and highly recommended!

One of the best products in the market, I have tried all other steam cleaners but they all failed to deliver the consistent steam with out losing steam and wait until it heats up again.
This product is the one and only that will deliver.

I have the sc2 and thought this would be the same but not at all – it’s so much better. You pour in more water when the red light comes on and steam stops, pour in more water and off you go again. No hose pipe connection required.
I use it for Windows (car an house) and my car alloy wheels and given the cost of Pro alloy cleaners I think this beauty will pay for itself over time.

Excellent for steam cleaning everything. It’s easy to fill and there is an indicator to let you know when it needs more water. It’s powerful and I’ve used it for cleaning floors, flat rugs, surfaces etc. The only thing to note is that some other reviewers mentioned the unit expelling alot of water. I only noticed this when you take your finger off the trigger and then put it back on again but this is due to steam collecting in the very long tube and then once you start it up again the steam pushes it out. Yes, it leaves your floor wet but I don’t find this an issue and if I am using one of the smaller attachments, I usually hold it over the sink or bath to get rid of excesswater if I stop the unit. I have been using this steamer for over a month and I am happy with it.

The machine is very good. It has lots of attachments. It makes everything damp and my missis says it smells clean.
What the scientific evidence of this might be I don’t know. It could be like the placebo effect.
I’ve bug one again because I enjoy using it and the sensation of spreading hot stream at will onto unsuspecting surfaces – it’s a man thing.

I like Karcher products but I think my last SC3 must have been a rogue machine as I had to have it repaired inside the warranty period then it gave up at 2 years old.
This seems to be an upgrade and is working well.

Powerful Steame
I bought this to replace my old Shark Steamer and I have to say I’m impressed with its cleaning power.
I really like the Velcro cleaning pads which are so easy to fit and remove for cleaning.
The only down side is that this unit tips very easily when pulling along especially if it is unplugged and you are holding both the flex and the nozzle so you get water spillage from the tank

I love how quick it is to get upto temperature for quick usage and how small and easily movable it is.

I don’t like cleaning the kitchen or bathroom very much, but the karcher is ready in seconds and cuts through all grease or grime easily.
Wet Floors
Easy to fill, easy to use. However, leaves floor very very wet, I follow up behind with flat micro mop. I find handle gets very hot but I manage. The fitted Velcro mop attachment is flimsy and thin, only one supplied have to keep removing and washing of dirt . Find it not very good at cleaning surfaces as small attachment head and steam time is limited. It’s ok but I tend to use old fashioned squeezy mop daily and bring this out now and then. Wouldn’t buy again.
