Thought this was a good buy worked for a short time now not.
Weatherproof but not airgun proof...
Bought this for my elderly dad, as the side of his house is quite dark at night and his carers asked for a light to be put up. Very bright and illuminated the path well. Too well unfortunately, as his “delightful” neighbour put 3 airgun pellets through it after a few days as he couldn’t be bothered to contact me to adjust it so it didn’t stay on too long, etc. Other than that it worked well.

A great little out door light. We’ll made and looks good, my only criticism, needs an extra 6 inches of cable but maybe that’s just me. Don’t let this put you off,I’m well pleased
Light up my life
Got this to replace an old halogen light and I was surprised at the small unit when it arrived thinking it might not be suitable but I was wrong. Good strong bright light with a responsive PIR and being LED I expect it to be more efficient. Also, it was really easy to fit. So good I bought a second unit.

I had to get an electrician in to instal, so I can’t really say if that was easy or not, but the light works just fine and is bright enough to cover a good area outside my back door.

Despite its small size this light is very bright, easily lighting my whole 6mx6m patio. Easy to set up in terms of only coming on in darkness and for motion, detects along the wall it’s mounted on and far away as required. People have mentioned the water resistance and the light is ip68 while the sensor is ip54. If you read the specs that should be fine for rain. So far so good.

Purchased two of these lights for outside home use. Hopefully I’m not writing this too soon, but after 3 months of winter weather they are still working perfectly. The sensors are not affected by branches blowing in the garden which is good. Distance adjustment is a bit hit & miss, but for the price they are excellent value.

Not had much success with outdoor PIR lights, this has been installed for around 4 weeks and so far is perfect.

Surprisingly brigh
Apart from the ridiculously short power lead the lamp itself is excellent. Far brighter than expected for 10w and clean, white light. Thoroughly recommended so far, just hope it lasts!
Decent value
Had this installed for a few weeks in the winter and working well so far. Had to mess around with the settings to get it coming on at the right light levels but once done it works consistently. The bracket that hold the light up is very flimsy though and will distort if your wall isn’t totally flat. Nice and bright though.

Great light, plenty bright enough for a 1 car drive way and a bit of path, your not being blinded but can see very well when the light is on, my only gripe is the cable is way to short it needs to be twice if not three times the length so it can be fed through brick work, so instead I had to wire it to a waterproof junction box then into the garage unlike my other light for the back garden, it would just look so much tidier also the actual sensor for the is only ip54 I think which dust proof not waterproof but my light is tucked under some facia so it should be ok, over all happy I mean for under 15 it ideal

Good ligh
The security light was easy to fit. It is compact and bright enough to cover an area where two cars are parked.It is not too bright to upset the neighbours. I would have preferred a longer cable.
If connected outside it requires a waterproof junction box.

Motion detection is very good, you can set it up to the distance you want. I have the 10 watt version, and the brightness is very good. They are very weatherproof and have never let me down.

Easy to install, and works well. Too early to say if sufficiently waterproof, but so far so good. The cable is rather short, but enough to pass through double brick garage wall and connect to existing cable.

Easily fitted a month ago and working perfectly as a replacement for power-hungry tungsten light.
Low wattage but a brilliant light, easily adjustable for time-on and sensitivity.
I shall soon be buying another to fit elsewhere.

A powerful little security lamp which has replaced the older, much larger security light. Really pleased with every aspect of the fitting and delighted with the daylight beam. Excellent value product.

Nice small light, got mine over back gate. Works well and as led costs next to nothing to run. Light set to come on when about 4mtrs away and is perfect for what I wanted.

Very Brigh
Amazingly easy to install. But just ensure you have screws, rawplugs & likely more power lead, as the length attached to the light is only around 1 – 1.5m in length.
Only small gripe is, I’ve turned the light timer down to the minimum possible, that the light remains on once motion is detected & is around 5 minutes. Not great, but will sacrifice for the price & brightness it offers

Small but very bright light. Was a bit tricky to put up as we couldn’t just insert the cable into the light as the cable is fixed and so had to work out a way to get the cable through the wall to the electricity supply. But the final result is good. It is sensitive to movement and lights the area we wanted it to.

Powerful light.
Fantastic light, a lot smaller than I had imagined and first thoughts when I opened the box was, this will be going back ! But the light Shone all over the driveway which is 60ft W x 40ft L so it certainly won’t be going back now, the sensor works perfectly too, the actual light is very slim and looks really modern compared to the old bulky 80s version, so really pleased and will now purchase one for the back garden.

My fault, I never checked the dimensions so assumed it would directly fit where the previous light was. So it was a little smaller but the light output was much more suited to the application than the previous (larger/brighter) model. Very easy to fit, good solid construction.

It lights my whole front garden no problem I’m gonna take the power saving. What a great light.
One small issue was I found I couldn’t test in daylight to set up. I just put sensitivity, distance in middle and time just off bottom. Detects at 3m and stays on for 30 seconds. Perfect for me.

Liked having slots not holes in the mounting bracket. this meant I could re-use the fixing positions of the

Bright white light, motion sensor limited
I’ve had this for a couple of weeks, it was easy to install although be aware that you’ll need a wire junction box/connector to fit to a power cable. The light is bright but the motion sensor is of limited use because even with the detector on full it’s only picking movement up 15-20 ft away.

Much much smaller than expected. However, very bright. Replaces an older, bulb type that stopped working. Seems to be working well and has stood up to a couple of days of rain too. The connecting cable is short so I fitted a socket to the old wire and a plug to the new light. Now it’ll be much easier to change in the future.

Security Ligh
Very small security light but very bright. I have found the the motion detection will not activate at the distance that it says, but never the less it does work on closer distances. I also found the the electrical lead was small and had to extend it. Would I buy it again (no ).
Died after 13 months
Easy to install and worked well however after thirteen months gave up the ghost and died. Was thinking of buying another for further down the garden but will now look at other brands.
A good economy light that does what it claims.
This is a good economy item that delivers an excellent bright light. Easy to fit and set up – but don’t forget to set the ‘lux’ for day and night settings or it may work all day as well ! The motion sensor distance setting sometimes varies a little in activating the light and it is also worthy of note that the fitted cable may be a little short for some at just 1 metre. All in all though, I like this hassle free light and I have had two now.

To replace an existing security ligh
I only fitted the light yesterday but am extremely pleased so far! I was able to reverse the bracket which enabled me to ensure that I have plenty of clearance to the shed door (which is why the last security light sensor broke). It seems a very good purchase and definitely bright enough!
Have installed it in the garage, so I can’t confirm how weatherproof it is, but it works really well. The motion detection is very sensitive and accurate and easily adjustable. The light is right and lights up the garage well. I would definitely recommend.

A Small Powerful Unit.
Bought this unit to cover the rear garden. Though it is only 10W it effectively illuminates the garden and fences.

After my not too old security light packed up I spent a lot of time looking for a good quality replacement, I saw these Lepro light available elsewhere online and the reviews were good so I thought I’d try it.
The quality is excellent, it looks well made and feels like it will stand up well to the elements. I already had newish wiring in place so fitting was simple, but what surprised me the most was the brightness, I have a medium-sized garden and when the light comes on it floods every corner of the garden with white light, it’s very impressive indeed.
There a few different wattages available in the range, but I’d say for the sake of an extra few quid I’d go for the 50W version, you won’t regret it.

I bought two of these lights, they were great value for money spent. They were a lot brighter than I thought they would be, which was great as the one illuminates my whole back garden, which is absolutely esential, my dog can see where ever he needs too. Motion detection is excellent and fast to detect any movement.

Great little light, very good value for money. Appears to be solidly made and dead easy to install. Incredibly bright so don’t be overly tempted to go for a higher wattage as you probably don’t need it. Only slight downsides are that, whilst the motion detection works fine, you need to be closer to it than I would like for it to activate. Also, flex is quite short. Fine if you’re going straight through the wall for connection but I had to install a waterproof IP68 junction box on the outside of the wall. Still, that was cheap and very straightforward to install. Recommended
Decent for the price
It’s a good lamp. I actually fitted it indoors inside my workshop to illuminate it enough on entry and exit when the lights are off.
I’m not convinced it would be spectacular as an outside light, because it isn’t mega bright (certainly not as bright as our halogen security lighting).

I wired this in to an existing light fitting and all it did was glow. Was ready to return it but thought I would try attaching a 3 pin plug and plug it in to a wall socket first. Bingo! it works brilliantly.

Can’t believe how small it is !! it’s clearly the way forward because it’s so bright . It’s the end of the chunky flood lights . It looks good I’m so impressed my son in law put it up . I came home and looked at it and thought this isn’t what I want but when it got dark I was proved wrong

Would normally buy this type of item from Screwfix/Toolstation, but the motion detectors on theirs are fixed, and I needed to pick up movement from the side.
Despite being small, they produce a good amount of well coloured light.
I have two above my garage doors and the amount of light they produce is perfect.
Very happy with them.
Don’t bother with cheaper alternatives.
Why do I keep trying eBay?
Bought this to replace a lamp bought on eBay last month. That light just didn’t work. This one is; better made, heavier, well protected cable, brighter, good length of cable and a nice frosting on the glass that defuses the light. All in all I’m just cross that I keep trying eBay when they are just ‘cheap’. I’d buy this one again and recommend. Good value and above all it works!!!

The Security Light has proven to be good value for money. It took a little time to set up exactly as I wished. This might have been due to partial operator error, but the provision of a more detailed setup procedure would have been a great help. Now that it is all set up, I have no complaints.
Purchased to replace a 1 year old LED light with similar specifications. I have installed over 20 different types of LED PIR lights at my home over the years. Unfortunately none have lasted as expected. Some fail due to water getting into the ‘Sealed’ unit, some fail due to the PIR not working, others fail due to the LED output failing quite probably due to the underpowered driver for the output.
This one looks good, slightly smaller than my previous unit it replaces with the same 50W rating. I always purchase an LED floodlight that has a decent length of cable which this has. Some come with a ridiculous 10cm of cable which isn’t even long enough to wire into a junction box directly behind the light.
So far so good, light positioning has plenty of directional movement and so too does the PIR sensor. Light output is good, nice and bright and covers a large area. All adjustments work as they should and the light comes on when I want for the time I want.
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this light. Hopefully a few months down the line won’t make me regret this review.
These are neat & compact, well built & economical to run. Bought as a direct replacement for halogen lights which were completely the opposite of that. The one in the image is only a 15w version & is lighting the lower part of my rural driveway..no light pollution here so that tiny thing is responsible for all the illumination in the image . Others are installed elsewhere on the property & give a clear but non glaring light. Much more helpful when night vision cams are in use as they produce a much clearer image than if the harsh halogens have been triggered which is counter-productive & not much use .
These were extremely easy to set up with lux, sensitivity & timing settings & were done before installing them. I’ll certainly be ordering several more of these & fully recommend them for other buyers.
Superb Ligh
Our old lights were past their sell by. We decided to replace with these. The senor is very sensitive and a very good range too. Unfortunately the second one had a problem with bracket but upon receipt of my feedback a replacement has been dispatched WITHOUT QUIBBLE and hence not only do I rate the product 5 star but the supplier of same too. Would recommend both.
Fitted in moments, connected 3 wires and done! adjustable sensitivity and time light stays on. Light and 50w for me gives me ‘daylight’ at night power. I even use it to eat outside as a light for for family. Looks great too, fitted and operational in under an hour for any novice.

Easy to install and works perfectly. Settings are easy and work as per instructions.
The motion sensor is great and detects the hedgehog that comes in out garden every night.
I added a junction box as needed to add cable to reach the switch.

Good quality, easy to install just used a spare plug we had to connect to the mains and we were good to go. Looks nice too just a simple security light. More modern looking
