Silent and efficie That thing is doing a great job at removing cigarette and cooking smells from the air. It gives you a good feel of fresh air when you live near busy roads. It came well packaged. The design looks good too, it makes a bit of the impression of a white good, though. The workmanship is great, it appears to be robust and it is a light-weight for a medium strong person.
The fan is quite silent in sleep mode and in auto mode. I tested that I was able to sleep well even when it is running on speed setting one, standing 2 meters away from the bed. On settings two and three it gets a bit noisier.
I wish it could keep the last setting after you remove it from the mains and plug it in again,but this is not really a big issue. In standby it is using 0.6W, according to my power meter. In auto and sleep mode it’s only 3.4W, which amounts to around 30 kWh per year with continuous operation. On setting one it is at 8.9 W.
I looked at other products in similar price ranges. Some are using ionisers and uv lights (this one doesn’t). I was not sure what those things break my cigarette smoke down into, and what they would emit, so that I preferred to go without. I also took into account the positive reviews.
All in all I would recommend this product and I’m happy I purchased it.
Good Product.....Just not shure mine is working correctly First let me just say this in itself is a very good product to have and you cannot fault either the delivery or seller.
So what do I mean when I say not shure it’s working correctly?…..
Well, it’s like this, when I turned it on I first checked the sleep mode and the three fan speeds…..took all of 30 seconds…..no problem. Then I checked the auto mode and this is where I’m not shure if it’s working quite as it should as the colour indicator went straight to blue with the fan operating at it’s lowest speed…..no red, no orange and no green. Now, since I live on a main road with dust and fumes getting blown all over the place I would expect that light to go straight to red even if it’s only for 30 minutes…..nobody’s house is that clean. Well, why don’t you ask for it to be replaced? one might ask and normally I would but to be honest as I am terminally ill with a serious lung condition I just cannot be arsed to go through all the hastle and since the product works great in every other respect I’m ok with that……..
Fantastic The filter works perfect, reacts to various smokes and smells really quickly (cigarette, candle, sewage smell..even my partners farts;)). Gathers dust flying around the room really well which I will occasionally hover off the outside of the filter insert. On Auto setting it runs all night and doesn’t disturb sleep, the sleep setting is even quieter but auto will ensure you get fresh air accordingly to conditions where sleep setting will run very low all the time without being triggered to filter at a higher level.
Does what it promises! I liked i It delivers on its promise: queit and simple to use. So far so good.
My only doubt is on air pollution : I had the window open in auto mode on a busy road and no change in the intensity which makes me wonder whether it detects and filters air pollution.
Must have for allergy sufferers I needed this for allergic rhinitis in order to get some sleep and it certainly helped me a lot. The night mode is so quiet I had to check it was still on.
wifi model Just bought this model and am very happy. I would, however, like to buy the wifi model – provides data to a smartphone. Not yet available in the UK. As having several units in a large house makes sense I hope it won’t be long before the wifi model becomes available
Brilliant for asthma and allergy sufferers I bought this item because I had a friend coming to stay who is allergic to dog dander!! I have four dogs…
A little sceptical about declarations of these things but worth a try, I thought.
I have to say that I was amazed, I put this on four days before my friends arrival and the first thing you notice is how little dust there
is on things like glass tables. But the biggest endorsement for this air purifier was my friend stayed for six days, yes six days, with no ill effects…he used an inhaler once a day because he thought he should, all in his head, as he said he could breath very easily.
I am, obviously, not a sufferer but even I felt the air was better quality and the benefits are enormous.
Go ahead and buy one, you will not be disappointed.
Game changer - who knew breathing could feel this good?! I bought 2 after reading reviews on this product. They have been a game changer in our house, after only 24 hours on full blast to cover the whole house (small terrace) the sneezing, wheezing, and sleep apnea had completely vanished. We’ve always been careful to keep dust at bay in the house so these were bought to be an added bonus for summer hay fever allergies… the results are way past our expectations, seriously recommend for anyone with, or without, allergies… Breathing clean filtered air is wonderful.
Quiet and seems to work well - a quality item at an excellent price Compared to the over engineered, over complicated noisy offerings from some other manufacturers (e.g. Dyson) this device is a joy. It is quiet (almost completely silent when the air quality is good), compact and just gets on with it. Don’t expect it to act as a fan – it isn’t. It is an air purifier. It has large HEPA and activated carbon air filters and that means that it doesn’t have to force the air through, it only needs to maintain a gentle flow. I think that is what makes it so quiet. The controls are wonderfully simple, and are operated by a touch panel on the top that makes a very soft tinkling noise to give you feedback. The filters are easy to change via a large panel that has easy access via magnetic catches. No pointless remote controls to lose. No completely unnecessary internet connections to fail. Air quality is indicated by a light (that you can turn off for bedroom use!) that changes colour. I thought this might be a bit cheap and nasty for the price, but it is a quality item that is simple and effective. I will by more Levoit products in the future.
Very effective and easy in operation. I love this unit. It works really well to make the air feel fresher and to help remove odours. You can put it on as high or low setting as you want, and the Auto setting works very well and it turns itself higher or lower as it senses the air quality. You can easily see this in action. I am very happy with this in the kitchen. It helps to remove cooking and pet odours. Even on a high setting I don’t find the noise annoying and on Auto it’s silent most of the time and using very little power. The unit was a little bulkier than I expected but not unsightly, specially in a kitchen. Great purchase for my household. We have smaller ones in other (smaller) rooms as well.
very pleased We have had this for a few weeks now. We have two house rabbits, so hay and dust were causing some problems. This has worked wonders. When I sweep and hoover the floor, I have a window open to change the air. Then I close the window. Put the air purifier on for 20 minutes on full blast. Then put it back on auto. It has meant we have a living room that smells like a living room, even with two clean bunnies living in it.
You only have to come in and sweep the floor, or give the rabbits some fresh hay, and this purifier senses the air quality change (when in auto-mode) and fires up for a couple of minutes until the air quality has improved. My partner has mild asthma, and this has immensely improved the air quality in our living room.
Update, having used this for a while now, still very pleased. You can tell when you come into a room when it’s been on, even on low. One key to stop any erratic behaviour from the unit (eg. taking a long time to turn down when in auto mode) is to make sure you clean the sensor whenever you change the filter. Cleaning the sensor has made a lot of difference to how well it runs, which makes sense when you think about how it’s deciding on air quality. If the sensor is dirty, it’s not going to read the room.
It works Very high quality device, with excellent build quality and ‘high-tech’ modern feel – something inspired by Apple, you might say.
The power cord, however, is too short and does not allow for moving the system around to find the best placement – something that is KEY to optimal air purification.
Get an extension 5-10 metres, room dependant. Sadly, this is a necessity.
Overall, this is an astounding product for air purification and should be considered a must.
Does the job Had this Levoit purifier a few months now and i am pleased with it. The air quality in my flat is a lot better and it gets rid of any dog hair that is floating about . I have it on auto and it is almost silent. Speed 1 isnt bad noise wise , but speed 2 and 3 obviously are louder, like most fans would sound on full. I find that it does an adequate job on auto and the fan does kick in if it detects anything in the air then it reverts back to auto once it has cleared whatever it detected.
Update 25/5/2020 : The purifier is still working well and i have not had to buy new filters as yet ( although it does not have heavy use ) I have just brought my daughter one for her birthday also .
Very Impressed I’ve had this Levoit Air Purifier for a week now and I’m very pleased with the unit. It was very simple to set up, just a case of reading the east to follow instructions. It seems very well made and looks good. I’ve put it in the bedroom and it’s really helped to clear the air and keep the dust in the room to minimal levels. I put the unit on medium speed for about 20 mins before I got to bed and then change the setting to night mode when I’m ready to sleep. The unit is so quiet in night mode it’s inaudible to me and I’m sure even the lightest of sleepers wouldn’t know it was on. While you have to buy replacement filters every 6 to 9 months they are not too expensive at 25 and are easy to get from Amazon, not a bad price for having nice clean, fresh smelling air in the bedroom.
Fa Easy setup. Clears the air no problems. On fan one you can hear it in background setting 2 & 3 to noisy to be sitting in same room.
Run it during day on night setting and going to be put fan setting 3 on as bedroom upstairs. If this was not so it would be winging its way back.

Does exactly what it says on the tin ( well cardboard box 📦 actually) It’s nice and tidy, I use it on auto setting it’s very quiet in operation. It is also portable you can use it anywhere anytime
Effective but not cheap, considering. We have been using this in our sitting room for some weeks now. I have a terrible problem with dust and it seems to be very effective. We put it on maybe a few times a week for a few hours and it really helps to clear dust form the room. Our room is around 85 m3 at a guess so we decided to go for a larger unit. It is possible to spend thousands on these units; this one was considerably cheaper but seemed to use the same filtration process. It is not silent and I would not really want to sit with it on for long even on low power. It has a timer so it will switch off automatically if you set it. I gave 4 stars because considering how simple the product is, basically a fan and filters inside a plastic box, it seems very expensive to me. Of course you can spend a lot more if you wish, looking at independent review sites. It does the trick for us. The filters will need to be replaced in a few months.
Great choice! I bought as my partner suffer of asthma expecially at the night time, we haven’t any pets but I’m a smoker (outside), the airpurifier remove the smell from my clothes and my partner noticed a great improvement of her asthma. Today I used a wd40 to fix the door and the airpurifier detected it from 3Mt and started to remove the smell in less than 30 seconds. I really recommend this product. ultra modern and high tech look love the auto feature, fan increases when polutants detected(ie cig smoke) clears it very fast. nice touch controls,easy to put in filters,well built and clean lines i loved it so much i bought 3 machines, for lounge,bedroom and study.

It really does clear cigarette smoke. I am delighted! Well so far so good. I only received this air purifier today and already there is a huge difference in our air quality. It was simple to set up I had it up and running within a few minutes. I set it to run on full power for half an hour and it worked perfectly even cleared the smell of stale tobacco within the half an hour. I then set it to automatic and am pleased to say that within seconds of lighting up a cigarette it sensed poor air quality and kicked in to do its work. I am a heavy smoker but my husband quit the evil weed over 10 years ago so his reaction to my smoking is bad (he’s always complaining). I have situated purifier in my studio an average medium sized bedroom as this is where I smoke. Forgive the lengthy explanation I just wanted to give you the reader an accurate picture of how great this purifier is. My husband thought I had fallen prey to yet another expensive gadget, however, even he had to admit that it works. The smell of tobacco doesn’t get the chance to escape my studio with the door open and there is absolutely no trace of the dreaded awful smell of cigarette smoke in our home. I am amazed and delighted because even I wondered if I was wasting a lot of money buying this great gadget. The cons – I have to admit that it is pretty noisy on full power but when it is set on auto it is only on full for around ten to fifteen minutes and it drops down to nothing unless something tips the air quality into poor. On the plus side it is portable not particularly heavy and easy to move around. So no more second hand smoke to harm my husband, my dog, two cats and the two budgies who live in my studio. I am sure that already my budgies are happier and more active as they must have been affected by the smoke, budgies have very delicate respiratory systems. So all the waffle aside this is the best considered purchase I have made for a long time. It REALLY works.
The Best Budget Auto Sensor Purifie I wanted a purifier that would remove particulate matter down to below PM2.5 and one that would automatically sense the air quality. I use two multi-fuel stoves in my home and was concerned that these would emit some kind of pollution into the home atmosphere. I am also retired and on a pension so I need one that would be reasonably cheap to run and one that would only run at the speed(on auto setting) needed to keep any pollution under control thereby keeping the running costs down or in fact that would show me that do not need it on all the time if the quality sensor showed very good air quality all of the time. I now have two of these. I bought my first one off a seller on ebay as I had nearly 50 of points to use up and was so impressed that I bought a second one from Levoit for use in my kitchen, where the other stove is, when I noticed reduced in a flash sale here on Amazon. They really do the job and just dusting my Venetian blinds which are over 10 feet away from the purifier can send the unit from blue(the best air quality) to red (bad air quality) in a minute of so and cause it to run at a varied speed (full at first and then to almost nothing, it does still run very slowly on the lowest setting though) until the air is clear again. All other purifiers at this price usually have 3 fixed speed settings so you wouldn’t really know how hard you need the purifier to work to keep the air clean or even if and when it is clean as there is no indication. With this one you have the option of 3 speeds (no indication), fully automatic with air quality indication so you know the unit is working just enough to keep the air clean, sleep function (lowest speed) and 12hour timer. Also it is very quiet, almost silent, on the sleep or the lowest setting when running on auto. As for durability I can’t comment as these are both new purchased in the last few weeks

Now it sounds like it’s about to take off. Conclusion auto mode works just fine and dandy and is definitely a handy feature over the units that have no auto mode which was my main reason for this model choice. The sleep mode is lovely.Noise level is almost unnoticeable. I have had this product for a day, So far it looks good and it does what it suppose to do.
Hope it last longer as I will be using it almost every day.

Works well I’ve waited a couple of weeks before reviewing this, because I wanted to try and feel the benefits first. I’m not sure about hay fever reduction because we are not in the summer, but I have noticed that it dispels cooking smells quite quickly and the dust in the house is a lot less. I’ve left mine on all the time on auto and it seems to be working well. When on the lowest auto setting, it’s difficult to feel the fan from it and the noise level is very low. It does set it self higher a couple of times in the day and the noise and fan do become more noticeable, but it doesn’t stay on high for to long.
It works !!! The unit worked very well when my future son in law visited. we have 4 cats and after a good clean up and running the unit for about 4 days before he arrived he had no problems what so ever. In the past h e has suffered quite badly from cat dander etc.

Great device for Vaping. I purchased this to help with Vaping in the house. The residue was building up on lights and windows and making the space unbearable for others. This device is perfect. The auto mode means I just set it an forget it. Most the time it sits idle effectively silent. When needed it kicks up to high and clears the smoke. At full power it is not that quiet but I don’t find myself turning the TV up to compensate so it can’t be that bad. The unit does generate quite a breeze/ draft which I suppose is great as it is moving so much air.
I thought long and hard about this purchase and am so glad I got it. My living room is vape free and I don’t have to go outside in the cold!
Excellent purifier - great for smokers Bought for my elderly parents as they are both smokers and it can be unpleasant when we visit. Currently they open windows when we visit, but this makes the house cold, and as they get older, they feel the cold more. We noticed a difference immediately. The purifier is making a noticeable improvement to the smoke levels in the room. We have it on auto mode so it kicks into high power when they light up. My parents are extremely pleased with the purifier, and we like it so much that we have bought one for our house to improve general air quality.
Whats not to know about this Purifier, Nothing bad at all. Very pleased with this product. We were unsure as to whether or not it would remove a pungent sewage smell but it was cleared in about ten minutes. The unit is well made with easy access and finger light controls. We were unsure as to whether there is a piece of protective film over the top control p anel. Being unsure we have not attempted to remove it.
Very useful Super happy with this. My husband’s got bad hayfever and this helped him at night. He even took it to work on his worst days. I also found that the fan of the purifier worked really well during the hot summer (2018). Can’t say how useful it was to us both.

It does work with time! I wasn’t sure about this at first as there didn’t seem to be much of a difference in my morning hacking cough (asthma related according to GP). After using this for a few months now I can see a massive difference I barely cough at all maybe once a week bit it will just be a little one rather than coughing my lungs out and gasping for air. I haven’t used an asthma inhaler (with docs permission) for over a month!
I keep it on Auto and it does get noisy from time to time – I find this reassuring that it is indeed working. I live very close to a busy London road so it is to be expected.

I was in the market for an air purifier for a while and this one seemed to be the best value for money that I found after long searches. I was especially looking for one that had activated carbon filter as I ocasionally smoke inside my bedroom(oops 🙂 ) and wanted to get the smell out. The purified air was to be the second option for me.
The activated carbon filter itself has actual carbon pcs in it and it’s not just a thin sponge covered with carbon, and I think it’s doing a good job. I would probably give it a 4 out of 5 stars for the smell alone
After using it for just 3 days I can safely say I really feel the difference in air quality. Ever since I know I used to wake up with mucus in my throat and coughing in the morning to clear it, since the cold period started it got even worse since I also have a cold. After I started using this I am literally waking up like I used to years ago. And I can only attribute this to the better air quality.
For me it is doing an amazing job in purifying the air and makes me healthier along the way

Fresh Really happy with this. Very effective in freshening the air and quite quiet. I have a cat and a poorly ventilated kitchen but this works a beaut. The sensor feature is very responsive but you must remove the little square black foam patch that’s stuck over the sensor. I figured this out after my sensor’s auto function stopped working, it just stayed on blue. Whipped the sticky black foam off and it’s back to being super-sensitive. Love it. Had it about three months. Might get one for upstairs.
Good produc I bought this purifier as my wife smokes and I vape, so wanted something to clean the air, especially as winter is coming and the doors and windows will now be closed. I had it on a special price and saved 30 so I am very happy with the price, but even at full price I would still be happy. It does exactly what I want it to do, and keeps the air clear of smoke or vape very quickly and easily, so I am very happy with it. I haven’t had any problems setting it up or using it, so would recommend to anyone.
I have only had it a week so can’t comment on the longevity of the filters yet, but will update when I need to, and have changed them

Clean Fresh Ai We bought the Levoit Air Purifier for my son’s bedroom as he suffers from Hay Fever, the improvement was incredible so we bought a second unit for downstairs as I have a dust allergy. The air is so much fresher and we now want another unit for our attic bedroom. The Levoit Air Purifier is light enough to move easily, with hand holds at the top. It is so easy to set up, simply unwrap the filters, slot into place and replace the back panel. I can manage this with arthritis in my hands. The controls are on the top with a digital display and very easy to use. The HEPA filter makes it safe for our pets and the price is excellent. The Levoit is also very quiet so it does not disturb our sleep and we can still easily hear the television without turning up the volume. We spent ages looking at air purifiers and reading reviews and this one seemed like the best choice for us. We are very pleased with the Levoit Air Purifier and after receiving a helpful email from a customer care representative from Levoit we are confident that if a problem should occur we know exactly who to turn to. Now we just have to save up for that third unit.

2. Build quality of machine is good. The display touch buttons work well functional and responsive = good hardware/software design
3. It works. I have a recent dog I’m allergic to ran the machine for 2 hours in the living room no more sneezing and eyes itching I move this to the bedroom at night now no more reactions
4. At full fan power 3 noise less than the same as a room fan set to 1 or 2 speed and I hardly notice its on .
5. Sensitive. Remove the bung from the air chamber! and this machine reacts in seconds to cooking, sprays dust etc and goes into full power mode until air cleared when used in auto mode.
6. Filters are expensive but worth it it does clean the air for me
Levoit Air Purifie I bought the Levoit Air Purifier because I thought the air in my house was not very clean as I was occasionally snuffly. I ran the unit for a while and the put it on automatic and the unit showed the air in all my rooms was clean. (Showing the blue light). I checked the pollution/pollen levels and found them to be low so I will wait until the solution levels rise and try again.

Filters only lasted 9 weeks not 6 months The units are excellent and do keep the air clean and make a difference, however, I’ve used this one of these units in my bedroom and another in my lounge 24/7 for about 9 weeks and the change filter light has come on, on both units today – I’ve tried cleaning the sensor, and tried to re-set the units to no avail, in the end I had to change the filters in both units then the warning light went off.
Product write-up says filters last around 6 months, so disappointed after only 2 months I’ve had to change the filters already, it’s a good job I ordered spare filters when I bought the units.
Filters only lasted 9 weeks not 6 months The units are excellent and do keep the air clean and make a difference, however, I’ve used this one of these units in my bedroom and another in my lounge 24/7 for about 9 weeks and the change filter light has come on, on both units today – I’ve tried cleaning the sensor, and tried to re-set the units to no avail, in the end I had to change the filters in both units then the warning light went off.
Product write-up says filters last around 6 months, so disappointed after only 2 months I’ve had to change the filters already, it’s a good job I ordered spare filters when I bought the units.
Excellent in every respec This has got to be my best ever Amazon purchase. It is superior to the other, not much cheaper, air purifiers I have bought. The machine is very well designed and the auto function works exceptionally well clearing the smell of tobacco smoke in a matter of just a few minutes in what is quite a large room. I did have a fault with the machine and when I contacted the Levoit support desk they had a replacement to me in a matter of days. Excellent company, excellent machine and I recommend them both highly.
a boon to a hay-fever suffere My wife suffers badly from hay fever from the spring to at least the middle of summer. We live on a road that is lined with lime trees, which release a sticky pollen that seems to trigger her allergy more than anything else. Inside the house, she can tolerate it during the daytime, despite a fit of sneezing every morning. The real problem was coming at night, however, because she was losing a lot of sleep through not being able to breathe easily. As this seemed a real threat to her health, I started investigating air purifiers. I chose this one as it is a bit more powerful than some of the others, but not as expensive as the Philips models. We put it in the bedroom, set it at just the basic fan speed, and kept the door slightly ajar for ventilation. The benefits were immediate and substantial. It has allowed her to get a good night’s sleep every night since we started using it. She has also been able to give up completely the anti-allergens that she had been using frequently, which worked but made her drowsy. The effects are definitely not just psychosomatic because she was actually quite sceptical about the machine before we tried it.

I had initial concerns as the unit arrived without any paperwork and I found the filters had no plastic wraps , and with fingermarks – giving the impression that the unit was previously purchased and returned.We wondered whether to return as we had bought it as a new item and I now have no warranty. Amazon customer services suggested return, but I was in dire need of it and as t appeared to be working fine i have gambled and kept it. i am glad I did. The air quality in my bedroom is noticeably and surprisingly different.
I live in an old stone cottage in the mountains of County Kerry, in a avery rural area with virtually no people , houses or traffic. You would imagine that the air would be pristine perhaps, but th cottage is small , I have 3 dogs and the interior walls are bare stone and shed powdery dust. This summer with unusually high temperatures, the sinus and throat issues I have been experiencig in the night had gotten worse and were disturbing my rest. The purifier has improved the air and my sleep quality – I hope that I will get long service – some kind of warranty would be reassuring – perhaps this could somehow be arranged ? By the way – on auto setting I find it incredibly quiet . Thankyou Levoit for the sweet dreams.
Clean air and better sleep - what more can you ask for ? Efficient,easy to operate,lightweight and portable.Love the sleep and display functions that mean undisturbed sleep and no noise or light intrusion.
I use the Auto function as I live close to 2 large construction sites with resulting dust pollution plus I suffer from hay fever.The proof of the Auto function was when I cooked some pancakes and the display changed from blue to green and the fan speed ramped up to clean the air of the hot oil.The purifier soon also cleared the cooking smells in my ‘kitchen/living room/diner’ (estate agent speak for small room!) before they spread to other rooms.The same has happened when neighbours light their barbeques before I get to close windows.
Only one problem.When I eventually changed filters the “change filter” light stayed on.I asked the seller and after much fiddling about found the right tool (a wooden BBQ skewer) and the right angle,45 to press the reset button sufficiently hard to work.Maybe my model had the button in slightly the wrong place as it seems awkward to apply the right pressure.

Amazing I was a bit skeptical when it arrived as it was so small and quiet. Having Had 3M Filtrate purifiers for years but had been discontinued I was very concerned that this unit would not be as good. Well Ii couldn’t have been more wrong! Amazing quiet and extremely effective. I am a smoker and would have had to put the 3m on full blast to take away the smell. Not with the Levoit. So amazing.

eally works and makes a huge difference in air quality I have so bought one to test it, then I bought more, now I have 9 of these, essentially because we have kids and live in central London where air pollution is absolutely awful. The difference in air quality these purifiers make is dramatic – they really work very, very well. Now, at least while we’re at home, we all breath good air. I ‘ve only had them for a few weeks so I cannot comment on durability yet but they seem well made and I can absolutely recommend them.
Fantastic produc This product is excellent. I live in London and I have an 8 month old baby. I bought it for her room as I was paranoid that the air was not clean enough. Incredibly, her sleeping has improved so much since putting it in her room. I think it is a great product. Also the company is very professional, I had a few questions and they sorted them out for me straight away. I highly recommend this product and company.

Seems to work ok. Only problem was I could ... Seems to work ok. Only problem was I could not get the foam off the sensor in one piece it was stuck down too well and it does not mention anything about this in the instructions. That is why it’s only 4stars.

What impressed me was how easy it was to understand from the instructions right down to removing the plasic bag’s and putting it back together. It’s on the lowest setting and comfortable. There is no noise. I have COPD so I am hoping this will help towards my breathing by removing everything that affects me regards dust and spores. Thank you

I placed in a room where dust was visibly in the air and there was a strong smell of fish being cooked in the kitchen. The indicator was blue meaning the air was quality was excellent. It stayed on for 4 hours and did not change. I was ready to send it back and emailed the manufacture. I decided to try using it in the bedroom, within 4 minutes the indicator was red, and it stayed like that for approx. 20 minutes, then went green and finally blue. The air quality did seem better so I left it on auto and it went green (moderate air quality) a couple of times. It seems to be working very well now so I have decided to keep it. My wife who has lung problems, seems better in the mornings.

The best air purifier we have used This is the best air purifier we have used so far – it’s effective and quiet. The ‘auto’ mode is also the most sensitive that we have experienced.

Affordable air purifying fa The difference in air quality is immediately noticeable. Easy to operate and affordable. It also effectively cools like a fan, by moving the air around. Love it!

Lovely fresh ai Lovely fresh air. I chose this one over the others on offer with much deliberation. This one can actually do a room much larger than we have in our house, but we live on a farm and have lots of pets so I know that mud is constantly coming into our house especially on the dog. You can see dust particles in the air all the time. My children suffer with mild asthma which is a worry. I decided to purchase this one because for the price and the size room that it covers it looked to be the best value for money. The filters are also cheaper than the more expense Phillips model and some of the reviews on that model indicate that the filters need changing quite quickly, although I don’t really know how long these ones are going to last, 6 months is a guideline. I have to say my house is not as dirty as I thought! I set this on Auto mode and most of the time it stays on blue, mild pollution. Occasionally it goes to green for a short time where the machine is working much harder and you can generally hear it at that stage, but it is not loud, not to the point of being disturbing.. For me it has never had to go full strength yet. The sleep function is great if you have it in your bedroom, it runs away at its lowest setting. It also has a timer if you want it to work for a set period only. The air that comes out of it is quite cool, it will be nice in the summer will double up as an air conditioning unit! We have used this in every room in our house now and all members of my family have stated that the smell is really fresh.. The instructions are very good and so is the after sale service. I would definitely recommend this product.
Excellent! I’ve only had the device for just over a week, however, immediate after its first use I could notice a difference in air quality. I’m really happy with the Air Purifier, would recommend.

We ordered it for our kid who has dry cough at nights and needed fresh indoor air. Along with the house plants it does it’s job so well. It sucks any kind of odour be it pleasant or pungent or so. That thing is doing a great job at removing cigarette and cooking smells from the air. It gives you a good feel of fresh air when you live near busy roads. It came well packaged. The design looks good too, it makes a bit of the impression of a white good, though. The workmanship is great, it appears to be robust and it is a light-weight for a medium strong person.
The fan is quite silent in sleep mode and in auto mode. I tested that I was able to sleep well even when it is running on speed setting one, standing 2 meters away from the bed. On settings two and three it gets a bit noisier.
I wish it could keep the last setting after you remove it from the mains and plug it in again,but this is not really a big issue. In standby it is using 0.6W, according to my power meter. In auto and sleep mode it’s only 3.4W, which amounts to around 30 kWh per year with continuous operation. On setting one it is at 8.9 W.
I looked at other products in similar price ranges. Some are using ionisers and uv lights (this one doesn’t). I was not sure what those things break my cigarette smoke down into, and what they would emit, so that I preferred to go without. I also took into account the positive reviews.
All in all I would recommend this product and I’m happy I purchased it.
First let me just say this in itself is a very good product to have and you cannot fault either the delivery or seller.
So what do I mean when I say not shure it’s working correctly?…..
Well, it’s like this, when I turned it on I first checked the sleep mode and the three fan speeds…..took all of 30 seconds…..no problem. Then I checked the auto mode and this is where I’m not shure if it’s working quite as it should as the colour indicator went straight to blue with the fan operating at it’s lowest speed…..no red, no orange and no green. Now, since I live on a main road with dust and fumes getting blown all over the place I would expect that light to go straight to red even if it’s only for 30 minutes…..nobody’s house is that clean. Well, why don’t you ask for it to be replaced? one might ask and normally I would but to be honest as I am terminally ill with a serious lung condition I just cannot be arsed to go through all the hastle and since the product works great in every other respect I’m ok with that……..
The filter works perfect, reacts to various smokes and smells really quickly (cigarette, candle, sewage smell..even my partners farts;)). Gathers dust flying around the room really well which I will occasionally hover off the outside of the filter insert. On Auto setting it runs all night and doesn’t disturb sleep, the sleep setting is even quieter but auto will ensure you get fresh air accordingly to conditions where sleep setting will run very low all the time without being triggered to filter at a higher level.

My only doubt is on air pollution : I had the window open in auto mode on a busy road and no change in the intensity which makes me wonder whether it detects and filters air pollution.
I needed this for allergic rhinitis in order to get some sleep and it certainly helped me a lot. The night mode is so quiet I had to check it was still on.
wifi model
Just bought this model and am very happy. I would, however, like to buy the wifi model – provides data to a smartphone. Not yet available in the UK. As having several units in a large house makes sense I hope it won’t be long before the wifi model becomes available
Brilliant for asthma and allergy sufferers
I bought this item because I had a friend coming to stay who is allergic to dog dander!! I have four dogs…
A little sceptical about declarations of these things but worth a try, I thought.
I have to say that I was amazed, I put this on four days before my friends arrival and the first thing you notice is how little dust there
is on things like glass tables. But the biggest endorsement for this air purifier was my friend stayed for six days, yes six days, with no ill effects…he used an inhaler once a day because he thought he should, all in his head, as he said he could breath very easily.
I am, obviously, not a sufferer but even I felt the air was better quality and the benefits are enormous.
Go ahead and buy one, you will not be disappointed.

I bought 2 after reading reviews on this product. They have been a game changer in our house, after only 24 hours on full blast to cover the whole house (small terrace) the sneezing, wheezing, and sleep apnea had completely vanished. We’ve always been careful to keep dust at bay in the house so these were bought to be an added bonus for summer hay fever allergies… the results are way past our expectations, seriously recommend for anyone with, or without, allergies… Breathing clean filtered air is wonderful.
Compared to the over engineered, over complicated noisy offerings from some other manufacturers (e.g. Dyson) this device is a joy. It is quiet (almost completely silent when the air quality is good), compact and just gets on with it. Don’t expect it to act as a fan – it isn’t. It is an air purifier. It has large HEPA and activated carbon air filters and that means that it doesn’t have to force the air through, it only needs to maintain a gentle flow. I think that is what makes it so quiet. The controls are wonderfully simple, and are operated by a touch panel on the top that makes a very soft tinkling noise to give you feedback. The filters are easy to change via a large panel that has easy access via magnetic catches. No pointless remote controls to lose. No completely unnecessary internet connections to fail. Air quality is indicated by a light (that you can turn off for bedroom use!) that changes colour. I thought this might be a bit cheap and nasty for the price, but it is a quality item that is simple and effective. I will by more Levoit products in the future.
I love this unit. It works really well to make the air feel fresher and to help remove odours. You can put it on as high or low setting as you want, and the Auto setting works very well and it turns itself higher or lower as it senses the air quality. You can easily see this in action. I am very happy with this in the kitchen. It helps to remove cooking and pet odours. Even on a high setting I don’t find the noise annoying and on Auto it’s silent most of the time and using very little power. The unit was a little bulkier than I expected but not unsightly, specially in a kitchen. Great purchase for my household. We have smaller ones in other (smaller) rooms as well.
We have had this for a few weeks now. We have two house rabbits, so hay and dust were causing some problems. This has worked wonders. When I sweep and hoover the floor, I have a window open to change the air. Then I close the window. Put the air purifier on for 20 minutes on full blast. Then put it back on auto. It has meant we have a living room that smells like a living room, even with two clean bunnies living in it.
You only have to come in and sweep the floor, or give the rabbits some fresh hay, and this purifier senses the air quality change (when in auto-mode) and fires up for a couple of minutes until the air quality has improved. My partner has mild asthma, and this has immensely improved the air quality in our living room.
Update, having used this for a while now, still very pleased. You can tell when you come into a room when it’s been on, even on low. One key to stop any erratic behaviour from the unit (eg. taking a long time to turn down when in auto mode) is to make sure you clean the sensor whenever you change the filter. Cleaning the sensor has made a lot of difference to how well it runs, which makes sense when you think about how it’s deciding on air quality. If the sensor is dirty, it’s not going to read the room.
It works
Very high quality device, with excellent build quality and ‘high-tech’ modern feel – something inspired by Apple, you might say.
The power cord, however, is too short and does not allow for moving the system around to find the best placement – something that is KEY to optimal air purification.
Get an extension 5-10 metres, room dependant. Sadly, this is a necessity.
Overall, this is an astounding product for air purification and should be considered a must.
Does the job
Had this Levoit purifier a few months now and i am pleased with it. The air quality in my flat is a lot better and it gets rid of any dog hair that is floating about . I have it on auto and it is almost silent. Speed 1 isnt bad noise wise , but speed 2 and 3 obviously are louder, like most fans would sound on full. I find that it does an adequate job on auto and the fan does kick in if it detects anything in the air then it reverts back to auto once it has cleared whatever it detected.
Update 25/5/2020 : The purifier is still working well and i have not had to buy new filters as yet ( although it does not have heavy use ) I have just brought my daughter one for her birthday also .
I’ve had this Levoit Air Purifier for a week now and I’m very pleased with the unit. It was very simple to set up, just a case of reading the east to follow instructions. It seems very well made and looks good. I’ve put it in the bedroom and it’s really helped to clear the air and keep the dust in the room to minimal levels. I put the unit on medium speed for about 20 mins before I got to bed and then change the setting to night mode when I’m ready to sleep. The unit is so quiet in night mode it’s inaudible to me and I’m sure even the lightest of sleepers wouldn’t know it was on. While you have to buy replacement filters every 6 to 9 months they are not too expensive at 25 and are easy to get from Amazon, not a bad price for having nice clean, fresh smelling air in the bedroom.

Easy setup. Clears the air no problems. On fan one you can hear it in background setting 2 & 3 to noisy to be sitting in same room.
Run it during day on night setting and going to be put fan setting 3 on as bedroom upstairs. If this was not so it would be winging its way back.

We have been using this in our sitting room for some weeks now. I have a terrible problem with dust and it seems to be very effective. We put it on maybe a few times a week for a few hours and it really helps to clear dust form the room. Our room is around 85 m3 at a guess so we decided to go for a larger unit. It is possible to spend thousands on these units; this one was considerably cheaper but seemed to use the same filtration process. It is not silent and I would not really want to sit with it on for long even on low power. It has a timer so it will switch off automatically if you set it. I gave 4 stars because considering how simple the product is, basically a fan and filters inside a plastic box, it seems very expensive to me. Of course you can spend a lot more if you wish, looking at independent review sites. It does the trick for us. The filters will need to be replaced in a few months.
I bought as my partner suffer of asthma expecially at the night time, we haven’t any pets but I’m a smoker (outside), the airpurifier remove the smell from my clothes and my partner noticed a great improvement of her asthma. Today I used a wd40 to fix the door and the airpurifier detected it from 3Mt and started to remove the smell in less than 30 seconds. I really recommend this product. Well so far so good. I only received this air purifier today and already there is a huge difference in our air quality. It was simple to set up I had it up and running within a few minutes. I set it to run on full power for half an hour and it worked perfectly even cleared the smell of stale tobacco within the half an hour. I then set it to automatic and am pleased to say that within seconds of lighting up a cigarette it sensed poor air quality and kicked in to do its work. I am a heavy smoker but my husband quit the evil weed over 10 years ago so his reaction to my smoking is bad (he’s always complaining). I have situated purifier in my studio an average medium sized bedroom as this is where I smoke. Forgive the lengthy explanation I just wanted to give you the reader an accurate picture of how great this purifier is. My husband thought I had fallen prey to yet another expensive gadget, however, even he had to admit that it works. The smell of tobacco doesn’t get the chance to escape my studio with the door open and there is absolutely no trace of the dreaded awful smell of cigarette smoke in our home. I am amazed and delighted because even I wondered if I was wasting a lot of money buying this great gadget. The cons – I have to admit that it is pretty noisy on full power but when it is set on auto it is only on full for around ten to fifteen minutes and it drops down to nothing unless something tips the air quality into poor. On the plus side it is portable not particularly heavy and easy to move around. So no more second hand smoke to harm my husband, my dog, two cats and the two budgies who live in my studio. I am sure that already my budgies are happier and more active as they must have been affected by the smoke, budgies have very delicate respiratory systems. So all the waffle aside this is the best considered purchase I have made for a long time. It REALLY works.
I wanted a purifier that would remove particulate matter down to below PM2.5 and one that would automatically sense the air quality. I use two multi-fuel stoves in my home and was concerned that these would emit some kind of pollution into the home atmosphere. I am also retired and on a pension so I need one that would be reasonably cheap to run and one that would only run at the speed(on auto setting) needed to keep any pollution under control thereby keeping the running costs down or in fact that would show me that do not need it on all the time if the quality sensor showed very good air quality all of the time. I now have two of these. I bought my first one off a seller on ebay as I had nearly 50 of points to use up and was so impressed that I bought a second one from Levoit for use in my kitchen, where the other stove is, when I noticed reduced in a flash sale here on Amazon. They really do the job and just dusting my Venetian blinds which are over 10 feet away from the purifier can send the unit from blue(the best air quality) to red (bad air quality) in a minute of so and cause it to run at a varied speed (full at first and then to almost nothing, it does still run very slowly on the lowest setting though) until the air is clear again. All other purifiers at this price usually have 3 fixed speed settings so you wouldn’t really know how hard you need the purifier to work to keep the air clean or even if and when it is clean as there is no indication. With this one you have the option of 3 speeds (no indication), fully automatic with air quality indication so you know the unit is working just enough to keep the air clean, sleep function (lowest speed) and 12hour timer. Also it is very quiet, almost silent, on the sleep or the lowest setting when running on auto. As for durability I can’t comment as these are both new purchased in the last few weeks

I have had this product for a day, So far it looks good and it does what it suppose to do.
Hope it last longer as I will be using it almost every day.

I’ve waited a couple of weeks before reviewing this, because I wanted to try and feel the benefits first. I’m not sure about hay fever reduction because we are not in the summer, but I have noticed that it dispels cooking smells quite quickly and the dust in the house is a lot less. I’ve left mine on all the time on auto and it seems to be working well. When on the lowest auto setting, it’s difficult to feel the fan from it and the noise level is very low. It does set it self higher a couple of times in the day and the noise and fan do become more noticeable, but it doesn’t stay on high for to long.

The unit worked very well when my future son in law visited. we have 4 cats and after a good clean up and running the unit for about 4 days before he arrived he had no problems what so ever. In the past h e has suffered quite badly from cat dander etc.

I purchased this to help with Vaping in the house. The residue was building up on lights and windows and making the space unbearable for others. This device is perfect. The auto mode means I just set it an forget it. Most the time it sits idle effectively silent. When needed it kicks up to high and clears the smoke. At full power it is not that quiet but I don’t find myself turning the TV up to compensate so it can’t be that bad. The unit does generate quite a breeze/ draft which I suppose is great as it is moving so much air.
I thought long and hard about this purchase and am so glad I got it. My living room is vape free and I don’t have to go outside in the cold!
Bought for my elderly parents as they are both smokers and it can be unpleasant when we visit. Currently they open windows when we visit, but this makes the house cold, and as they get older, they feel the cold more. We noticed a difference immediately. The purifier is making a noticeable improvement to the smoke levels in the room. We have it on auto mode so it kicks into high power when they light up. My parents are extremely pleased with the purifier, and we like it so much that we have bought one for our house to improve general air quality.

Very pleased with this product. We were unsure as to whether or not it would remove a pungent sewage smell but it was cleared in about ten minutes. The unit is well made with easy access and finger light controls. We were unsure as to whether there is a piece of protective film over the top control p anel. Being unsure we have not attempted to remove it.
Super happy with this. My husband’s got bad hayfever and this helped him at night. He even took it to work on his worst days. I also found that the fan of the purifier worked really well during the hot summer (2018). Can’t say how useful it was to us both.

I wasn’t sure about this at first as there didn’t seem to be much of a difference in my morning hacking cough (asthma related according to GP). After using this for a few months now I can see a massive difference I barely cough at all maybe once a week bit it will just be a little one rather than coughing my lungs out and gasping for air. I haven’t used an asthma inhaler (with docs permission) for over a month!
I keep it on Auto and it does get noisy from time to time – I find this reassuring that it is indeed working. I live very close to a busy London road so it is to be expected.

I was in the market for an air purifier for a while and this one seemed to be the best value for money that I found after long searches. I was especially looking for one that had activated carbon filter as I ocasionally smoke inside my bedroom(oops 🙂 ) and wanted to get the smell out. The purified air was to be the second option for me.
The activated carbon filter itself has actual carbon pcs in it and it’s not just a thin sponge covered with carbon, and I think it’s doing a good job. I would probably give it a 4 out of 5 stars for the smell alone
After using it for just 3 days I can safely say I really feel the difference in air quality. Ever since I know I used to wake up with mucus in my throat and coughing in the morning to clear it, since the cold period started it got even worse since I also have a cold. After I started using this I am literally waking up like I used to years ago. And I can only attribute this to the better air quality.
For me it is doing an amazing job in purifying the air and makes me healthier along the way

Really happy with this. Very effective in freshening the air and quite quiet. I have a cat and a poorly ventilated kitchen but this works a beaut. The sensor feature is very responsive but you must remove the little square black foam patch that’s stuck over the sensor. I figured this out after my sensor’s auto function stopped working, it just stayed on blue. Whipped the sticky black foam off and it’s back to being super-sensitive. Love it. Had it about three months. Might get one for upstairs.

I bought this purifier as my wife smokes and I vape, so wanted something to clean the air, especially as winter is coming and the doors and windows will now be closed. I had it on a special price and saved 30 so I am very happy with the price, but even at full price I would still be happy. It does exactly what I want it to do, and keeps the air clear of smoke or vape very quickly and easily, so I am very happy with it. I haven’t had any problems setting it up or using it, so would recommend to anyone.
I have only had it a week so can’t comment on the longevity of the filters yet, but will update when I need to, and have changed them

Clean Fresh Ai
We bought the Levoit Air Purifier for my son’s bedroom as he suffers from Hay Fever, the improvement was incredible so we bought a second unit for downstairs as I have a dust allergy. The air is so much fresher and we now want another unit for our attic bedroom. The Levoit Air Purifier is light enough to move easily, with hand holds at the top. It is so easy to set up, simply unwrap the filters, slot into place and replace the back panel. I can manage this with arthritis in my hands. The controls are on the top with a digital display and very easy to use. The HEPA filter makes it safe for our pets and the price is excellent. The Levoit is also very quiet so it does not disturb our sleep and we can still easily hear the television without turning up the volume. We spent ages looking at air purifiers and reading reviews and this one seemed like the best choice for us. We are very pleased with the Levoit Air Purifier and after receiving a helpful email from a customer care representative from Levoit we are confident that if a problem should occur we know exactly who to turn to. Now we just have to save up for that third unit.

2. Build quality of machine is good. The display touch buttons work well functional and responsive = good hardware/software design
3. It works. I have a recent dog I’m allergic to ran the machine for 2 hours in the living room no more sneezing and eyes itching I move this to the bedroom at night now no more reactions
4. At full fan power 3 noise less than the same as a room fan set to 1 or 2 speed and I hardly notice its on .
5. Sensitive. Remove the bung from the air chamber! and this machine reacts in seconds to cooking, sprays dust etc and goes into full power mode until air cleared when used in auto mode.
6. Filters are expensive but worth it it does clean the air for me

I bought the Levoit Air Purifier because I thought the air in my house was not very clean as I was occasionally snuffly. I ran the unit for a while and the put it on automatic and the unit showed the air in all my rooms was clean. (Showing the blue light). I checked the pollution/pollen levels and found them to be low so I will wait until the solution levels rise and try again.

Great air purifier, we all breathed easier straight away and it’s only me with the allergies and asthma. BIGGER than I thought but looks ok, I do need to move it though as I have the dust sensor against the wall.

This has got to be my best ever Amazon purchase. It is superior to the other, not much cheaper, air purifiers I have bought. The machine is very well designed and the auto function works exceptionally well clearing the smell of tobacco smoke in a matter of just a few minutes in what is quite a large room. I did have a fault with the machine and when I contacted the Levoit support desk they had a replacement to me in a matter of days. Excellent company, excellent machine and I recommend them both highly.
My wife suffers badly from hay fever from the spring to at least the middle of summer. We live on a road that is lined with lime trees, which release a sticky pollen that seems to trigger her allergy more than anything else. Inside the house, she can tolerate it during the daytime, despite a fit of sneezing every morning. The real problem was coming at night, however, because she was losing a lot of sleep through not being able to breathe easily. As this seemed a real threat to her health, I started investigating air purifiers. I chose this one as it is a bit more powerful than some of the others, but not as expensive as the Philips models. We put it in the bedroom, set it at just the basic fan speed, and kept the door slightly ajar for ventilation. The benefits were immediate and substantial. It has allowed her to get a good night’s sleep every night since we started using it. She has also been able to give up completely the anti-allergens that she had been using frequently, which worked but made her drowsy. The effects are definitely not just psychosomatic because she was actually quite sceptical about the machine before we tried it.

I had initial concerns as the unit arrived without any paperwork and I found the filters had no plastic wraps , and with fingermarks – giving the impression that the unit was previously purchased and returned.We wondered whether to return as we had bought it as a new item and I now have no warranty. Amazon customer services suggested return, but I was in dire need of it and as t appeared to be working fine i have gambled and kept it. i am glad I did. The air quality in my bedroom is noticeably and surprisingly different.
I live in an old stone cottage in the mountains of County Kerry, in a avery rural area with virtually no people , houses or traffic. You would imagine that the air would be pristine perhaps, but th cottage is small , I have 3 dogs and the interior walls are bare stone and shed powdery dust. This summer with unusually high temperatures, the sinus and throat issues I have been experiencig in the night had gotten worse and were disturbing my rest. The purifier has improved the air and my sleep quality – I hope that I will get long service – some kind of warranty would be reassuring – perhaps this could somehow be arranged ? By the way – on auto setting I find it incredibly quiet . Thankyou Levoit for the sweet dreams.

I use the Auto function as I live close to 2 large construction sites with resulting dust pollution plus I suffer from hay fever.The proof of the Auto function was when I cooked some pancakes and the display changed from blue to green and the fan speed ramped up to clean the air of the hot oil.The purifier soon also cleared the cooking smells in my ‘kitchen/living room/diner’ (estate agent speak for small room!) before they spread to other rooms.The same has happened when neighbours light their barbeques before I get to close windows.
Only one problem.When I eventually changed filters the “change filter” light stayed on.I asked the seller and after much fiddling about found the right tool (a wooden BBQ skewer) and the right angle,45 to press the reset button sufficiently hard to work.Maybe my model had the button in slightly the wrong place as it seems awkward to apply the right pressure.

I have so bought one to test it, then I bought more, now I have 9 of these, essentially because we have kids and live in central London where air pollution is absolutely awful. The difference in air quality these purifiers make is dramatic – they really work very, very well. Now, at least while we’re at home, we all breath good air. I ‘ve only had them for a few weeks so I cannot comment on durability yet but they seem well made and I can absolutely recommend them.
This product is excellent. I live in London and I have an 8 month old baby. I bought it for her room as I was paranoid that the air was not clean enough. Incredibly, her sleeping has improved so much since putting it in her room. I think it is a great product. Also the company is very professional, I had a few questions and they sorted them out for me straight away. I highly recommend this product and company.
This is a well-specified, well made, reasonably priced air filtration device. The fan is quiet – especially when selecting the modes it has to help night time noise levels – including ‘lights off’ setting .. for ‘light’ sleepers!. A very sleek user interface, with touchscreen-style operation. The filter panel seems to be much bigger in area than many competitors – including the Dyson PureCool range – at nearly three times the price! This is not an ionising purifier – which I’m glad about. As an overnight sleep aid, I find myself less dry-mouthed in the morning. Clearly, it’s going to be more effective if you reduce the volume of air it’s trying to deal with – i.e. if you close the doors to the room! Sounds counter-intuitive to good oxygen levels, but with the fanlight open and the bedroom door ajar, you get the best effect, I think. Well worth a try for pollen/dust allergies.

I have just got it and easy to set up And works well
Seems to work ok. Only problem was I could not get the foam off the sensor in one piece it was stuck down too well and it does not mention anything about this in the instructions. That is why it’s only 4stars.
Does nothing- nothing for annoying smells and no help for my hayfever, used as instructed and no difference between not using it at all. Waste of money and burden on ur electricity bill. I don’t recommend it at all.
UPDATE: The seller proactively contacted me to address the problem, the offered a new machine which I didnt want so they refunded me fully. It has been a great smooth transaction and I really recommend trying whether its good for you or not as you can be sure they take feedback seriously.

I suffer with asthma and multiple allergies.I had my first good night’s sleep for ages.like being beside the sea as the air so clean.in my lounge during day and hardly a cough.I feel so good.worth every penny.I now have to order another one so I don’t keep having to move it up and down the stairs.

Simple to understand you don't need to be a rocket scientis

It’s on the lowest setting and comfortable. There is no noise. I have COPD so I am hoping this will help towards my breathing by removing everything that affects me regards dust and spores. Thank you

Great piece of kit, I suffer from hay fever and this has really helped.
When I received this, immediately it was clear that this was a badly repackaged return unit. I placed in a room where dust was visibly in the air and there was a strong smell of fish being cooked in the kitchen. The indicator was blue meaning the air was quality was excellent. It stayed on for 4 hours and did not change. I was ready to send it back and emailed the manufacture. I decided to try using it in the bedroom, within 4 minutes the indicator was red, and it stayed like that for approx. 20 minutes, then went green and finally blue. The air quality did seem better so I left it on auto and it went green (moderate air quality) a couple of times. It seems to be working very well now so I have decided to keep it. My wife who has lung problems, seems better in the mornings.

This is the best air purifier we have used so far – it’s effective and quiet. The ‘auto’ mode is also the most sensitive that we have experienced.
Delighted with this product. My husband has dementia and smokes heavily he is phobic about open windows and has central heating turned up full. Our lounge smelled terribly of stale cigarette smoke and the heat seemed to make it worse. The Levoit purifer has only been in service for two days and already the results are amazing. It’s quiet… doesn’t disturb hubby at all. The air in our lounge is now fresh as a daisy. In fact we positioned it between our lounge and my craft room and both rooms now smell sweet (the cat litter is in my craft room so another mini miracle). The difference in air quality is immediately noticeable. Easy to operate and affordable. It also effectively cools like a fan, by moving the air around. Love it!
It has UK plug. But overall seems good.
Tested at workplace colleagues liked it and said there is visual effect. Now will take it home and use it. Looks nice. Only problem was it has UK plug you need to buy EU plug.

Great Purifier made my apartment smell fresh and clean like the Alps
Lovely fresh air. I chose this one over the others on offer with much deliberation. This one can actually do a room much larger than we have in our house, but we live on a farm and have lots of pets so I know that mud is constantly coming into our house especially on the dog. You can see dust particles in the air all the time. My children suffer with mild asthma which is a worry. I decided to purchase this one because for the price and the size room that it covers it looked to be the best value for money. The filters are also cheaper than the more expense Phillips model and some of the reviews on that model indicate that the filters need changing quite quickly, although I don’t really know how long these ones are going to last, 6 months is a guideline. I have to say my house is not as dirty as I thought! I set this on Auto mode and most of the time it stays on blue, mild pollution. Occasionally it goes to green for a short time where the machine is working much harder and you can generally hear it at that stage, but it is not loud, not to the point of being disturbing.. For me it has never had to go full strength yet. The sleep function is great if you have it in your bedroom, it runs away at its lowest setting. It also has a timer if you want it to work for a set period only. The air that comes out of it is quite cool, it will be nice in the summer will double up as an air conditioning unit! We have used this in every room in our house now and all members of my family have stated that the smell is really fresh.. The instructions are very good and so is the after sale service. I would definitely recommend this product.
I’ve only had the device for just over a week, however, immediate after its first use I could notice a difference in air quality. I’m really happy with the Air Purifier, would recommend.
