Colour is pale cream, not as per image
It’s a magimix… it’s amazing and they always are. No other food processors come close to their effectiveness. One small point – this a cream not the pale yellow seen here. On the box it’s even called ivory!

Quality machine ,worth the price tag
Took a little getting used to, has a lot more attachments than my old machine,my only gripe Is when using the mini bowl you often end up washing them all because it spills into the larger bowls, but love the versatility and is very sturdy and looks great,would recommend.

Very pleased with this food processor. It feels sturdy & well made. Doesn’t ‘walk’ all over the counter when in use!
I know some people don’t like the stacked bowls, but I think this is ok. I did sometimes get spillage from the small bowl into the larger ones, but that was because I overfilled it, so now I’m careful not to & that seems to have cured that little problem.
The blade & disc storage box is excellent & is smart looking too.
I find the slicing & grating very easy & quick, much better than with other food processors I’ve owned in the past.
It’s powerful enough to make good nut butter in a few minutes, but in the main bowl with the large blade. I had too much to use the small top bowl, so can’t comment on how that would perform.
Overall this is a very good machine which I look forward to using for many years.
The only downside is the Magimix website. I couldn’t register my product due to an ongoing error. They did respond to my email however, but the error was still there days later so I gave up trying. Proof of purchase acts as the guarantee, apparently.

Best thing I bought still learning about things the one thing you don’t want to do is put your finger on the blade did not see the mix and cut my finger but that’s life the biscuits I made were much better much more fluffier and so quick and the colour which I like red.
Excellent - use all the time
I used to use this sort of product to prep special meals the Magimix is so easy to use that I use it all the time.
great blender,choping and grating, mixing etc. Juicer is good but not as effective as my purpose built juicer. Was worried about spending so much on this type of product but its worth it.
So versatile
The machine arrived promptly. It works so well, replacing a 4200, where the motor had seized. I still worry that the plastic may crack and so am resisting the pull to put it in the dishwasher. However, I am enjoying the larger bowl and feed tube.
Generally speaking, I’m quite happy with this machine, though I don’t know whether it’s just because I always wanted a food processor, and whether I wouldn’t be as happy or happier with a competing product – possibly at fraction of the price.
I chose Magimix as it seemed to be a well established name, and it offered a great selection of peripheral accessories – sadly quite pricey, but they can be easily picked up for next to nothing on eBay. It’s definitely powerful and helps blast through a lot of kitchen chores.
However there’s a couple of striking design choices that make me wish I’d gone for alternative processors:
– the lid design seems to make washing up longer than it could be – the lid is very big and tall and has lots of crevices and angles, and they all get dirty fast, as well as 3 moving parts that are meant to make processing of big chunks easier, but really just add to the cleaning effort
– the jug is the biggest mystery to me – it’s meant to replace a blender jug, and yet it makes me think it was designed by someone who never cooked in their life: 1. It’s got no volume/unit marking to it, not even simplest 100ml-500ml-1000ml. 2. There’s no spout to it, making pouring liquids an adventure every time. 3. It’s huge – but you can only fill 2/3 of it, and even that only when juicing, not when blending
– When slicing/grating using discs, surprisingly large chunks (the ends) of fruit/veggies are left unprocessed. Not a big issue with say a cucumber, I can just eat it, but a bit worse when grinding 10-12 potatoes. Im stuck with 12 leftovers I need to pick out from the jug and then try grind again
Regarding accessories:
– there’s no coffee/herb mill, shame
– the citrus juicer is ok but it works at an excessive speed, where holding the fruit is a challenge and it’s not easy to get all the juice out
– there’s a centrifugal juicing attachment – big YAY – but it’s not very efficient. Compared to my very basic Philps juicer it yields 15% less (I ran very accurate tests) and also I need to empty the dry pulp container halfway through making 2-3 glasses of juice
Its not a bad product, I love having it at home, making pesto, chopping onion, getting cheese, slicing everything in seconds …and maybe all processor’s struggle with some/most of the above issues – it’s just that with that price tag, you really can’t help but feel a bit disappointed.

I ordered this for my husband for Christmas, it is quite pricey, and he couldn’t justify paying so much for a food processor, I knew he had been looking at it for a while, anyway..fabulous piece of kit, all singing/dancing! The only down side was I paid for gift wrap, we both work from home so it was a no brainer, but to my horror my husband excepted the delivery, unwrapped, with magi mix all over the box!! To be fair, Amazon took on board my complaint, dealt with it and compensated me for their mistake, customer service was fab! Can’t fault it, although it has cost me more to find another “perfect” present for him to open on Christmas Day.

This is an outstanding appliance in the kitchen, it saves hours in preparation time, whether it be slicing,dicing, chopping, blending, mixing all done in a few seconds. It’s almost like having your own sous chef. It’s quite, easy to clean and I’m constantly finding new things I can do with it. The size is superb for making the portion size you want, large or small. I highly recommend it.

I use daily – make hummus, pesto, dough, seitan, I whip aquafaber, nut butter. Honestly its excellent. Bit of a pain to wash, but hey its worth it. Excellent quality

Mine lives on top of the butchers block so that it’s easily accessible. The accessories come in a separate storage container. The motor has a 30 year warranty so it will probably last longer than me!

Perfect machine, does everything I need from bread to slaw’s and soup’s. Great array of attachments and the additional spiraliser (I found a free voucher online) is surprisingly useful. User manual/recipe book is a proper hardback book. Love this machine!

Brilliant product. Very sturdy and easy to use. Lots to wash up after use, but once the routines have been worked out this isn’t so bad. Love that there are just 3 buttons to use – auto, pulse and stop. Blades are incredibly sharp so watch out when washing! Will last years and years. I have used the whisking attachment that is usually used for whisking egg whites and cream to whisk aquafaba for vegan recipes and it works perfectly. Very very pleased with this.

As you can see this is mainly a five star recommendation, the four star section is more to do with me and time scale in having a new product and getting used to using it still got a ways to go on that front….but I’m sure I will conquer in the end ….

I don’t bake as much which is why I chose the Magimix over the Kitchen Aid, but ironically have baked a lot with it! We’ve not had it long, but it’s a heavy duty mixer that does everything – juicing (not like a proper juicer though!), mixer, slicer, shredder – I no longer need all my other appliances as can consolidate with just this one appliance.
I’ve re-discovered a love for cooking because there’s less prep time (sorry to Kenwood, the mini chopper has worked wonderfully for us over the years, but it’s time to go now that we need to do more batch cooking!). We’re a family of four with two young kids, so the 5200 is more than enough for us – managed to simultaneously batch make 4 dishes, a cake and a soup over a couple of hours with this on the first day (which otherwise would’ve taken me twice as long with our tiny mini chopper!). A total God-send.

This looks very sleek and modern out of the box, and took me quite a while to work out what each bit does. However once I had spent the time getting to know the machine, and the various accessories. It can do so much, and does it very well, grinds, chops, blends, makes bread and cakes. I have had a cheaper blender for some time, but this is in a different league, and is ideal for anyone who enjoys cooking, experimenting, or needs to cook for a large number of people.

Nach ca. 1 Jahr Verwendung: meine Frau ist sehr begeistert (und mittlerweile haben ein paar Freunde/Verwandte auch eine Magimix. Das beim Arbeiten damit in der Regel mehrere Schsseln montiert sein mssen strt etwas ab es ist alles leicht zu reinigen. Die Zubehrbox ist sehr sehr praktisch.,
Bei einer der Schsseln ist ein Teil ausgebrochen. Der Kundenservice war sehr freundlich zuvorkommend und schnell!
Auch unsere Kinder lieben es damit Eigenkreationen (‘Nutella’, Erdnussbutter, Eissorbet, … ) zu fertigen.

To gind peanuts for peanut butter i had to use loads of small amount in my domestic processor. This mixer is a dream, 500g of peanuts in a once, on for 20 – 30 seconds – instant peanut butter. It weighs a ton but it will taken on any requirements you have.

My second magimix. I love it, excellent quality, great versatility. It is very powerful, so may need to use the pulse button more frequently.

Wanted one for ages. It doesn’t disappoint. Making cakes and breads is so quick and easy. Chops with ease and is so quiet. A brilliant all round machine so no need for my old stand mixer.

I took my time & read as many reviews that I could before buying. I eventually chose the Magimix 520XL & I’m pleased that I did. It is a really solid machine that works like a dream, with lots of useful accessories, in a neat box. It has tackled every task that I wanted in record time. The motor is very quiet too. It is an expensive machine but in my opinion it is well worth the money.
Great but no juicer ki
The only reason this hasn’t got 5 stars is that the product description states the box contains a citrus press and a juicer kit. No juicer kit included. This was on of the reasons I bought this model. Not returning as need the processor for recipes.
This is a stupendous machine. I am gradually learning all the stuff it can do.And it is a truly handsome presence in the kitchen, in its own spot. Nice and heavy, so no worries about it jumping around. Very impressive motor, remarkably not too loud.
It came with a citrus juicer, which is awesome, and a sort of ring thing to put in the top of the biggest of the three bowls for making smoothies if you want.
There are two grating discs and two slicers, plus an egg white whisk, a Dough blade and the main S’ metal blade for the main work bowls. The small work bowl has its own wee metal blade too.It even comes with a special spatula, shaped to get every last bit out of the bowls. The well designed plastic box holds all the bits safely.
No more shop bought hummus, coleslaw or peanut butter for us! Sllicing, chopping and grating veg is an absolute breeze: especially with the extra wide feed tube, so you don’t have to cut stuff up so much, if at all.
In fact, all sorts of cooking has suddenly been made just so very much easier and, for me, lacking in knife skills,also much safer..no more cut fingers, although you do have to respect the ultra sharp blades.
I have sent for a kit for cutting chips and cubed veggies, for that annual tsunami of tomatoes that need to be made into chutney: that job will no longer be a tedious messy slog!
The wee hardback instruction and recipe book that comes with it is excellent, and gives a small number of recipes that are designed to show off what the machine can do.Today is carrot cake day…or maybe mascarpone cheesecake? Hmm…the scones are great, too..
And all of the bits all can go in the dishwasher! What more can one ask?

Well, we have had this machine for nearly a year now and it is still awesome.
I really would recommend reading the instructions totally…I completely missed the bit where it warns that if you are using citrus, you should rinse the juice off right away…turns out that it clouds the bowl. But that just affects the appearance, not the structure or performance at all.
And be warned: this machine makes dough and pastry making an absolute doddle…so we are eating a lot more pies, pasties, crumbles, scones and quiches these days. Brilliant,.but not for the waistline!
I have never managed to figure out how to use that cubing/ chipping attachment I sent for, so can’t recommend that yet, but actually don’t really need it.
Veggie burgers are a breeze with just the main blade and it’ s a real eye – opener to see the vast quantity you get out of just a handful of veg.
Goodbye to expensive shop bought stuff with dubious ingredients, we can make our own real food now…..thanks to this magic machine!

This is an excellent food processor with multiple attachment, I use it quite a lot in my kitchen, so far I have used it to make a cheesecake, homemade mayonnaise, guacamole, delicious vegetable juice see for yourself on my youtube channel search on youtube for RMCookBook.
This is one of the best food processor ! It has made my life so easy in managing the various tasks in the kitchen to aide my cooking. I also bot the juicer attachment and no need for me to keep too many gadgets in the kitchen now. Though I recommend hand wash instead of using the dishwasher after each use. Just one wish that they introduce a small mill attachment to tackle the small quantity of grinding.

Got this a week ago and between me and the Mrs, we’ve used every tool and feature. Nearly bought another kenwood for 100 after the last one died. Glad I didn’t. I won’t slate the kenwood, you get what you pay for and for 100, it’s not bad value, but if you want a proper piece of kit, this is it.
Every piece of it makes the kenwood feel like a toy, the slicing and grating discs are made of very thick steel, the chopping blades are as sharp as kitchen knives, the plastic bowls and lid are very tough and won’t break if you drop them and the motor is so powerful, nothing phases it.
We’ve made cookies, curry sauces, soups kofte kebabs and tonight I made swede and potato rosti to go with my haggis for Burns’ night.
As far as I’m concerned the 3 toughest materials known to man are diamond, granite and swede. Nearly sliced my thumb off once trying to chop a swede to go in a stew. Anyhow, I digress. I peeled the swede, cut in to 2 halves and dropped each one down the vast feed tube to be grated. The machine blasted thru them like they were already cooked – nice long strands, ideal for making rosti. And before you ask, they were delicious.
If I was picky, I’d say the marketing of the machine is a little unclear / misleading in that you can only process / chop food in the mini and maxi bowls, but not the midi bowl. The midi bowl is for the slicing and grating discs only, so you cant grate huge volumes of veg in one go. Small detail but thought I’d mention it.
Main thing is, it’s strong and you can put it in the dishwasher.
It’s expensive, but if you like cooking and will use it, its money well spent.
Perfekt! Tolle Maschine, die wirklich alles perfekt kann auer kleine Mengen Sahne schlagen. Das macht der Handmixer schneller. Ansonsten bin ich begeistert! Ich koche viel nach den “deliciously ella” Kochbchern (Mandelmus, cashewbutter, alles kein Problem). Der Motor ist so stark, dass das Messer nie hngen bleibt oder der Motor warm luft. Morgens machen wir damit Bircher Msli (also pfel klein hacken) – auch das funktioniert in 5 Sekunden …
Wie lange sie hlt, muss man sehen. Ich benutze sie jetzt einen Monat tglich mehrmals. Mache 800-1600 g Nussmus/-Butter die Woche damit!

Delighted with this replacement for my 35 year old original that has finally stopped working. Only minor issue is that it is slightly taller than the gap between the bottom of the wall cupboard and the surface so it has to be near the front of the work surface. It looks good and woks well and if it lasts as well as the previous one that was used every week several times the n it will be an heirloom! Can’t say that about many kitchen appliances …..
Still brilliant, the last machine I had was the same make, which was bought in 1988, yes 1988 and still motor running well, only replaced as bowl looking tatty, I have made endless Cakes and Burgers over the years…..wouldnt buy any other make.
Very high quality product. There’s not a part of it that doesn’t seem made to a very high standard. It’s simple to use but extremely capable. Everything is well thought out down to the locking mechanisms for the three nesting bowls to the generously thick plastic. If I were to summarise it, I’d say no corners had been cut. Cuts everything else, though. 😉
A lot quieter than some food processors as well. Most that I’ve used are cheaper and you can hear the little motor whining away as it frenziedly goes at it. This thing feels like it would just calmly get on with it if I fed a dead body down the mouth piece. (Note: do not use Magimix 5200XL to dispose of dead bodies! I’m just trying to say that it feels very powerful and steady and never complains).
Anyway, I cannot fault it. I would rather buy this product once than a dozen cheaper food processors year after year. I wouldn’t be surprised if I could pass this on to my children one day.
(Oh, and if you’re trying to decide between this and the KitchenAid one, get this one. The only thing the KitchenAid one has over this is the niceness of glass bowls, but in every other way it’s frankly just not as good).
I bought this after my trusty Cuisinart Prep Plus 11 was sadly damaged when my children unplugged it from the transformer and straight into the mains.
I love this machine. It hasn’t faltered at anything I have thrown at it – oversize sweet potatoes, dense fondente chocolate, dough, pumpkin soup, 20 oranges and pomogranites in the juice attachment…Love it. It does take some planning when using all three bowl sizes – you need the bigger bowls to support the smallest bowl, so you need to chop/shred from smallest amount to largest. Other than that, it’s amazing.

It does what it said it would much quicker than I can, I intend to buy a couple of extras to make chips, and grate Parmesan. I am pleased with the machine.

Great quality of the processor, certainly the best on the market! The only bitterness is I didn’t receive the magimix spatula, that was said to be included on the magimix website.

For the price this is the Rolls Royce of food processors. It’s sturdy and very well built and importantly very easy to understand. On the downside it is heavy but given the way it work this stops vibration and makes it safer to use.
I was concerned about how much use it would get but have found ways to use it that we never thought about.
Washing is easy and the different sized bowls give lots of flexibility.
If you think it’s to expensive don’t buy a cheaper one, wait and save up, you won’t be disappointed.

Love this so much! I think Amazon have got the measurements wrong on their description. This model has different (larger) bowl measurements on the magimix website, I’d trust magimix.

I would like to ask the customers who have bought a magimix, if it is good for making vegetable smoothies as I would like to start eating more healthy foods. I had a juicer and paid a fortune for it and it was useless. I want a machine that can deal with liquidizing to enable me to drink the whole vegetables.

I bought this processor 6 weeks ago and now becoming more familiar with it. I had a Braun processor for 30+ years but the plastic spindle broke, so I couldn’t grate anything and I used to make a lots of coleslaw, grating apples for desserts etc. I use my Kenwood professional for making pastry/cakes etc. but after a year or so of not having a processor whilst I deliberated on what brand and model to buy, a friend persuaded me to buy a Magimix ( she’s had hers for over 20 years). I decided to buy this model. It has everything I need ( I love the three bowls). It’s a nice solid machine with good stainless steel blades ( I shall purchase the extra julienne blades, then I shall have everything).
I’ve grated carrots, cheese and apples and sliced courgettes and potatoes. I’ve pureed mango and apples and it’s performed magnificently. Now I’ve moved it to more accessible place in the kitchen – I might give pastry a go. My friend uses hers for absolutely everything. I just found I couldn’t lock the unit on the base and lid on properly at first – but that was my fault, I should have read the instructions before, rather than after trying to lock it.
It is expensive, but not for the use and years I hope to be using it for. It is not at all flimsy like some others, so it will last years.

Still using my Magimix all week, still looks new and I’ve had no problems at all. Last year I bought the spiraliser attachments. Pricey (at 99) but I like spiralising vegetables such as courgettes or carrots etc. The spiraliser attachments are sturdy with stainless steel blades. Unlike the electric 80 watts spiralizer I had (which was weedy and there was a lot of vegetable wasted), the Magimix attachment is as powerful as the model you have, so you can imagine how quickly everything is spiralized with the Magimix 5200XL – 1100 watt. Impressive.
This Magimix replaced one which lasted 30years before starting to lose power and the new one appears to be just as robustly made. My wife is delighted with it.
A very weighty piece of kit. Of the quality that the price tag would suggest.
