Good value and works well.
Bought this as a replacement for the same iron which after several years of daily use finally wore out. Price excellent with good service from the supplier. I have no doubt there must be better ones out there ie more expensive but this does the job very well so why pay more. For best results distilled water should be used. I suspect like me, if distilled water is used at first, most will end up using the tap. No doubt this finally caused the demise of the previous iron. Can recommend, especially at the discounted price.
Happy with this basic steam generator iro
This is a good basic steam generator at a very reasonable price. Bought as a direct replacement- previous one about 4 years old and not giving out much steam any more. Can’t believe how much better new one is – ironing chore much quicker. I’m happy to replace every couple of years at this price – living in hard water area I don’t expect to last longer than that.

Super iron, wouldn't swap for the world
This is the second one of these irons that I have bought and I absolutely love it. I take in ironing and I find it tackles all fabrics and makes a super job of sheets, pillows and bedding. The iron has a nice weight to it and feel definite in your hand, the handle is comfortable when ironing for a long time. The cord it long enough to make ironing shirts a doddle, the only very slight quibble is that maybe the water tank could be larger as I do find I need to fill it quite often, but I am sure that for normal use it is fine. Would I recommend? Definitely

Having used my mums older model (2007) I saw the benefits. She has had hers 13 years! Nothing normaly works this long. I started a new job and needed a decent iron.
That would save me time and electric. So I had a look and decided for the price and the size of the water tank. I would order the same as my mum but a newer one. Since having it I have even done some personal clothes of mine as it is out why not?

It glides over the fabric. Irons beautifully. It’s the second one I’ve bought as the first stopped working. I advise looking after it well and replacing the little sack inside the water container as it says in the manual. I should have done that with my first iron but did not do so as often as is recommended.

Does what it says on the tin. All features work as expected. I use filtered water to avoid buildup of limescale. You can buy filter jug from Tesco etc cheap and it helps to avoid buildup of scale in the filter.

I had the same model previously. It works very well without a doubt and was cheaper (I think) but you can see where cost has been taken out. The lead is shorter, most places where I use it I need an extension, the water reservoir is less substantial but these are small niggles.

Love this beast, my cloths look crisp! need to buy filters, one thing I was not sure if it should happen, the pipe between the iron and the holder gets hot but not that hot to burn just hot to touch
Easy and comfortable to use
I’ve had very similar models to this iron previously, and when my last one failed I searched and found this one. It has slight improvements to my old one, for the better, and I am happy with the way it performs.
An effective steam iron.
This is the third of these machines that I have had because I like the design and they do the job, but as a professional seamstress it gets a lot of use and eventually the button under the handle for the steam generator gives out, rendering the whole thing useless – but I do get a few years’ work out of each one. Longer cables would help for big curtain jobs.
eplacement for the last one
I had this one before, I foolishly tried to descale it with an iron descaler but it totally ruined the insides and all the inside plastic pissed out of the steam holes so it went in the bin. I had already borough the replacement cartridges so just replaced the iron – it is a good one with powerful steam feature but now I am using only bottles water (cheap supermarket one – 6L for 1) so worth it.
Great iron for price - no complaints
I used this iron for the first time tonight. Previously I have had a Philips steam generator iron which I thought was great but after a few years it broke so I needed a new one. I read lots of reviews and didn’t want to spend more than 80 so took a risk with this one. I needn’t have worried at all as had nothing but a good experience. It was easy to set up, easy to use, the tank was big enough for me to do my whole load of ironing without refilling, the iron was so much quieter than my old one and my clothes easily became crease free. I’m not sure what else I would get for spending 200-300 as I am more than happy with this little beauty!

A good iron make sure you don’t use hard water. I use cheap bottled water to prevent limescale as much as possible
Excellent purchase
This is my first steam generator iron so I didn’t want to pay too much and the Amazon price was much lower than elsewhere. I am absolutely delighted with it, ironing is so easy now, the iron glides over the clothes and they look perfect. The only time it makes a noise (noted in other reviews) is when the temperature is set too low for steam ironing or when the water tank needs to be refilled.

Inexpensive but does the job
Good product. Bought for my mum who is 87 and was only used to a normal steam iron. The iron is not the lightest I have used. But produces a lot of steam.

My daughter loves i
This iron was a present for my daughter and she loves it. She does a lot of crochet and ‘blocks’ each piece when it is finished, with this iron the pieces are coming up better than ever before and it is so easy to use is what she tells me.

I hate ironing but I love my Morphy Richards!
I hate ironing. But now I actually enjoy the task with this bit of kit. I dont need to keep refilling the steam iron for a start which was always a pain. It dyes Sysco’s if ironing veggie it needs refilling. That’s really done too. It’s perfect for my needs. The clothes, especially denim and cotton tee shirts and regular shirts look crisp and tidy. Highly recommended.

All in all does what it says on the box only downside is the water spray button does work,but irons the clothes ok .

Perfect iron for two or three weeks! Wouldn’t advise to buy! I’m on my second one now as the first started spouting brown gunky water out after a few week. I only use ironing water for the steam to. The second one i have now has started to do the exact same, as Amazon replaced the first. Very disappointed with this product.
Makes easy work of ironing
Loved this purchase. Large capacity water container so not filling up every five minutes. Very efficient steam output which make ironing easy but care needs to be taken not to be scalded as very powerful. Don’t let that deter you though – it glides so smoothly. Don’t have to change settings from cotton to delicate fabrics; I had to take great care with my old one. I have weak hands but can manage well, except releasing the reservoir to refill – there’s a definite knack to that. I highly recommend this produc
Good value for money
As family of 5, ironing always a hard chores. But with this iron, I found it easier. Take the crease out a lot quicker. The downside bit is the water container could be a bit bigger as sometime it runs out of water and having to top up while it’s hot. It’s not easy.

I’ve had one of these irons for a few years now and wouldn’t ever go back to an ordinary steam iron. So when my daughter moved into her new home I got her one as a house gift.

We purchased this because it was the same model as our previous Jet Stream which we purchased in Dec 2011 and was still working except for the steam function. So 7 years of good service was all we needed to purchase the same model again, which by comparison to other brands and models is excellent value. Has been used in a household where Ironing is

Good steam generator iro
This is my first steam generator iron and I really like it, I have found that I rarely need to change the temperature, good amount of steam, the iron is a good weight and easy to use. I am happy with this purchase it did take a little time to get used to the bulkiness of a steam generator iron and my only negative comment would be that for safety I think it would be good to be able to secure the iron to the base for storing.

It makes ironing a pleasure
I had an old steam generator iron for over 10 years, it was furred up and fairly useless. I have found my new iron so effective I can’t wait to do my ironing. I even ironed all the bedding which I haven’t done for years. It cost about half what I had paid for my old iron all those years ago. I wish the cord retracted but a small complaint.

Just 2 Observations
This iron is comfortable to use and very light. It does the job. However, there are 2 observations that I did not think to look at when choosing an iron. There is no setting for the volume of steam and when the iron is off of the stand, resting on its heel it isn’t very stable. For these 2 reasons I have rated it as 4 stars
Not perfect but very good
Not as powerful as my last iron but down the job. My only gripe is the rubbery bit near the bottom of the irons plate. I hang dresses up and give them a steam all over but if you’re not careful that bit will catch on the clothing as you’re steaming downwards.

I love this iron, this is my 5th iron.
I have previously bought this iron many times but due to hard water they only lasted 3 months. I bought a water distiller and my last iron lasted 11 month- I have my own ironing business so my iron is used all day every day.
I can highly recommend this iron!! I wouldn’t use anything else!
My only issue was the smell at first, it really smelt of weed! A lot of my customers turned up and the house stunk so I had to explain it was a new iron! Everyone agreed that it smelt very very strongly of weed! (Having never smoked that sort of stuff I hated the fact that my house smelt of it)
I have read some other reviews saying the iron smelt and it would be interesting to see if anyone else agreed with the type of smell
Luckily after 3 days of use the smell has gone! I had to use a lot of fabric freshener to get rid of the awful smell.

Up through the tube before you press it on clothes which I learnt the hard way. It’s good for the price but I’d maybe invest a little more and get s better product, depends how often you’re ironing and what your ironing.

Brilliant the handle is easy to grip and the steam function button is easy to use. Bought this again as had another more expensive make that when you used the steam function my hand kept hitting the temp dial and became too hot.
So really just buy this one . Especially at this price 60. Amazing

Actually really impressed with this iron, i bought it to replace my tefal which was three times the price when i bought it, but didn’t want to spend as much on an iron this time round, i thought id give it a go and can honestly say i get good results with it, very happy.
Thed perfectstaem Iro
The perfect Iron. Stainless steel plate so glides smoothly and no risk of burning or sticking. I filled the water reservoir with de-mineralised water to ensure longevity and many years of service. My last reservoir steam iron lasted for 10 years.
Very good steam iron, already a fan of steam over a traditional iron. Great to see this one also has a little water spray. Only downside is the size of the water reservoir, it needs filling after about an hour of full on steam ironing.
I never thought I’d see the day where I’d say I found ironing enjoyable – but here we are! This iron has made ironing so much faster and easier – the steam settings (which can be used on the board or vertically) have eliminated even the toughest creases from my work shirts and uniform. It’s an investment but for the time it’s saved me, there’s no doubt it’s worth it. I’d highly recommend!

I bought this for my wife as she always said she hates ironing, She loves it, It is much more effective than a basic steam iron as you do not have to keep topping it up with water Its lasts till she has finished. If you have got a ironing board with a large iron stand It will fit OK, if not it is a bit big to stand on a standard ironing board stand. Apart from that it has been perfect for her.
To use distilled water at all time
I quite like the Morphy Richards Jet Steam iron333020 pink and white, but I am disappointed with the mess that is made from the filter. I have worked it out that one way of avoiding this, make sure the water container is full. I am assuming this may be because the iron is new.
My previous Bosch died on me and a replacement was too expensive so I brought this one. It is not as good as the Bosch for steam power but it is more than capable of the household ironing. Recommended and easy to use.

My iron broke and I didn’t want to pay huge prices for a new one. I read all the reviews for the one and I have to say that it is as advertised. Great Iron and I recommend it to anyone with lots of shirts to iron 🙂
Great buy for first time steam generator iron use
When my old steam generator iron packed up, I looked round for a replacement, on the grounds that once you’ve used this type of iron you’ll never go back to an ‘ordinary’ iron again. This seemed to be the best reviewed iron at a reasonable price. Good points – lots of steam, easy to use, quick to heat up, and fairly light to use. Not so good – very easy to catch the on/off switch with the lead, so that the steam suddenly stops. Nuisance to take the filter out every time you fill the tank, and not sure how often the filter will need changing. It has a funny smell, which I’m hoping will wear off. Overall, I like the iron – but not as much as my previous one. Brilliant buy as a first time steam generator, though

Lovely product, does what it says it will do. I’m a fussy ironer so this does the job perfectly, the only thing is, the base is very bulky so I have to have a dining chair next to the ironing board ! Only down side.

easonably good iron at a reasonable price, comes with a scale filter which helps my previuos iron died clogged with lime scale despite having a scle cleaning function which produced lots of steam, lots of dirty water but really didnt improve the performance.

I paid 200 for my last steam generator iron & it didn’t even last 2 years so am not making that mistake again. For the price this iron seems great, irons as well as my last one, easy to use & lighter than my last one. So expecting brilliant things from the reviews. When
I phoned to get my 2,yr warranty I was told the cartridges need replacing about every 6wks depending on hard water in your area, so something to keep in mind. Was also told to only used ironised water not bottled or fragranced.
Much cheaper than the others I looked at. Only design flaw is that the water spray doesn’t work off the main tank and is a bit small but deals with both linen and heavy cotton with ease.
Got this for the wife as she was moaning about the old iron. Well what can I say, she loves it!! We’re a large family and she ploughs through the same amount of ironing in half the time. I had to test it out myself and I can see what shes talking about.

Tends to dribble water slightly, but not a big problem.
I hate ironing but this makes it slightly more bearable. Good steam generated from the water tank so don’t have to keep refilling every 5 mins.
Bought so I had an iron if needed but actually has almost paid for itself already as I haven’t sent my ironing away to be done since I’ve had it so win win.

Very pleased with my new iron, slightly different function than my last iron, but I have very quickly adapted to this. Excellent results with this iron which I would highly recommend. In particular, the removable section which allows more water to be added is a real success.
A really good buy. Bought it soon after i had broken my wrist, so ironing was a nightmare. This iron made ironing a lot quicker and less painful. Delighted with it. In fact have bought another just like it as a gift for friends for Christmas.

Great product great price big water tank Long electric and iron leads light and comfortable to use 2year gurantee steam when you want it not all the time its now a pleasure to iron what could make it better? A wrapround/storage for the long leads.
This sign was to replace the previous jet steam generator and does the job perfectly well.

Almost a perfect steam iron, no way would I go back to a normal iron! This one is fantastic and has cut my effort down by half. The stubborn shirts I use to leave in the pile, are now ironed with ease!!! Definitely recommend

First Steam Generator I have had. Works well and I love the smooth steel plate on the iron itself. Only complaint I have is that there is not much space on the handle as the steam knob is large, though comfortable, and gets in the way. I keep catching this knob when I want to do ‘dry’ ironing.
