This device is so good we originally bought it to use as an outdoor barbecue and keep in an outdoor shed
But when we tried it indoors we were so impressed we now use this to do all our main cooking
then just take it outside when we want a barbecue

We love this! We talked about getting an air fryer for some time and eventually decided we should get one. It heats food really well, cooks pie and chips beautifully and the crispy bacon is the best I have had. It heats up in about the 10th of the time of a conventional oven and cooks more quickly. We have decided we will use it for BBQ when there is just the two of us – steaks are amazing and it knows when they are cooked!! Wouldn’t part with it!

Purchased a couple of days ago. Cooked a small roast chicken using the probe, included potatoes for roasting and carrots.
At the end of cooking time the display showed the chicken had reached its internal required temperature of 75 degrees.
However, when I removed the bird the juices were still pink.- even after resting .
The food wasn’t warm enough for my liking
I finished cooking in my conventional oven.
Slightly disappointed, expected more.
Maybe practice makes perfect. Hence the reason for 4 stars.

The grill tray is usually a bit tricky to clean, along with the ceiling of the air fryer…it tends to get fat splatters as isn’t the tallest of units. All-round, though this is the best air fryer on the marke
Great air fryer, but a bit fiddly to clean the grill plate. You do get a brush with it, but it doesn’t always get all the bits off. I’ve started to use grease proof paper in it to make it easier to clean. It cooks great, cook fro less time than it recommends though
Had main ovens cleaned and not used since. There are two of us in the house that cook at different times, we love it for it’s quickness along with sooo easy to clean, food is tasty and takes half the time to cook
Very pleased with the way it cooks, but it is a noisy thing (or is mine faulty?) and creates odours when cooking. The top section of the cooker, as others have said, is not easy to clean.
Although we have been fans of our Tefal air fryer for years, the functionality of this appliance has forced us to fall out of love with Tefal, which I can foresee sitting around gathering dust for a long time. Very happy with this product!! Can’t fault it as yet.
We decided to get a 5.7l Ninja Foodi because out of all other options, it seemed the most suitable for us. I don’t like the design of the usual double basket air fryers and I thought it would be cool to have both grill and air fryer and also an oven in one.
I received this today and the pic attached shows what I’ve made to test it. It was a handful of frozen chips and a meatless no-chick’n burger. I’ll break it in points to make it easier.
1. Heating time
oh boy, do I love this machine already. The heating was so fast I just couldn’t believe it, I thought it hasn’t heated fully. But I threw the chips and burger in and it all sizzled nicely.
2. Cooking time
This is another thing that surprised me most guides for air fryers say that you should fry the chips at 200*C for about 20-25 minutes.
I set it at 190*C, set the timer to 15 minutes and it was all ready and perfect!!! Crispy, cooked through, and delicious.
I opened it once and stir the contents. The machine stops automatically after you lift the lid up, and resumes after it’s closed again. I don’t have any proper accessories yet so I just stirred everything with a big wooden spoon.
3. Cleaning
It is so easy to clean, I don’t have a dishwasher but it’s no problem at all to wash it by hand.
And no residue is going to be building up at the bottom like in a regular oven, because everything can be taken out to clean!
4. Overall experience
This machine, despite its capacity, is not very big. I was expecting something much bigger but I’m glad it’s not, because it’s just perfect. The design of the cooking plate is pretty deep so enough to cook for our family of 3.
Haven’t used other options than airfry yet, but it was a positive experience. I’m going to use it for almost everything.
I plan to make some tofu puffs in it later, to go with rice from my Bamboo rice cooker.
I honestly have no idea why I haven’t thought of getting it earlier. It’s so much more convenient and comfortable than a regular oven. Perfect little machine.
The air fryer cooks extremely well and, although the contents need to be manually stirred, the basket allows air to circulate and turning feels almost unnecessary as a result. Food cooks fast and evenly and the results are crisp; I have made some of my best ever chips in this and in less than 20 minutes, which is impressive.
Of course, this is more than just an air fryer and the grill allows you to cook various meat items in much less time than you would need to spend frying, as well as ensuring nothing spits out. Once used for a couple of times following the manual, it is intuitive and very easy to use.
Washing up is straightforward and, when new anyway, the non-stick surface is a breeze to clean by hand. The baskets/tray can go into the dishwasher, but I am hand washing for now. As I am a vegetarian, I will probably use the dishwasher to clean the parts when I have cooked meat for my partner, but I find it easy enough otherwise to do by hand.
This is already my favourite kitchen item and I wish I had bought one years ago.
NOT LOVED so much. It takes up a lot of room on your counter surface. The accessories are sold separately and are a bit pricey. I think that considering how expensive this machine is (compared to others on the market) they could include at least a rack so that you can cook more items at the same time. Easy to clean except for the mesh that sits inside the lid. Overall, I love it, would definitely recommend.
The one downside I have so far after almost a month is that the GRILL PLATE is pretty annoying to clean, especially when cooking bacon and this is with the included brush. it definitely isn’t a deal breaker, but yeah. What I do is after using the grill plate I like to remove the drip tray + grill plate together and just fill it with warm water and washing up liquid while they are still sitting inside one another. After soaking for 1-2min and another 1-2 min with the included brush it is good to go.
There is a company called sear’n’sizzle (i think) that sells an aftermarket grill plate that looks way better, I saw it in a recipe video on youtube (channel was the salted pepper, had some alright recipes for me to try when I got the product tbh) but it is 70 odd quid. Probably at christmas or something
Bought at a huge discount from Amazon warehouse the fryer is perfect and had never been unpacked. Cooked chicken chips and onion rings in less than half the normal time thus saving an awful lot of expensive electricity. Very easy to clean, just a great product.

A big improvement on our old airfryer, if you are using traditional recipe books you may find that you have to adjust the times because it is noticeably quicker. Excellent results on the functions we have tried, and the addition of a thermometer is a welcome addition.

Let me start with pros first. It’s really easy to use and it makes food way You expect it will do. For that it’s actually worth the money.
But at the same time it comes with some serious cons. You can remove grill, pans and splash guard and they are easy to clean but at same time it is ridiculously easy to scratch nonstick surface on them, all it takes is pieces touching each while device is in use.
Also, what pissed me the most that grill is getting greasy as hell inside, on parts thay You can’t really remove for cleaning, really really greasy. And to be honest as I looked throught the manual I didn’t managed to find informations how to safely clean device itself. Not saying it’s 100% was not there, just that manual is lacking some transparency on that aspect of using it, as I didn’t managed to find any detailed informations about it.

This product is an excellent cooker which has revived my fading appetite for food my old oven was energy hungry and very wasteful . With rising energy bills the Ninja Foodi is a better option . and is MUCH easier to keep clean x
I have not had this product for long but I have tried a few things in it and I am pleased with the results.
I have baked scones,air fried frozen chips and warmed something up and every one was successful.

If you’re looking for an air fryer. Look no further. Honestly one of the best I’ve had. All of the different cooking options have the expected result. For example, air fry is similar to frying and health grill is very similar to real grills!
The headline says it all really. Having a tiny kitchen this bit of kit is a god-send as it’s multi-functional. Air fryer, grill, fan oven all in one. Haven’t used the dehydrate function yet.

I hardly use my cooker now and also if you keep on top of the cleaning the splatter disc then everything tastes perfect and easy to use.
My advice would be to buy baking sheets to catch the fat underneath to make cleaning easier.
As for cooking steaks, burgers, fish, fries, etc it’s so easy and also very quick compared to a cooker. Also its healthier. Must have item in anyones kitchen.

Probably the best item I ever purchased in my entire life. So much so I got another one for my mother in law for Christmas (she wanted one ever since I got mine about a year ago – I got mine directly from Ninja but the review you are reading is technically for the one I got for my MIL bought from Amazon on Black Friday).
I cannot describe how much I love my Ninja.
I cooked every kind of meat possible. I made pulled pork, steaks, hard boiled eggs (BAKE 160C 14 minutes – you will be amazed – they wont break), fish, sea food, bacon, sausages, whole chicken (BAKE 180C 30 to 45+ minutes depending on size – pro tip: spatchcock), wings etc (every part of the chicken, pork or beef basically), halloumi.
I pretty much stopped using oven, all I need in my life is Ninja Foodi Grill.
I use it at least once a day, I cook fresh and do meal prep.
Cooking time in comparison to oven is at least 1/2 to 1/4 depending on what you are making.
My mother in law eat more variety in her diet and she enjoyed home made chips, grilled cheese sandwiches etc. She absolutely loves her Ninja too! She’s an older person living alone, she doesn’t want to waste time and energy on using an over for one person. She had no problem with set up or instructions – Ninja Foodi Grill may look a bit like spaceship but it’s actually extremely easy to use. And the results are delicious.
We both mostly wash our grill parts in dishwasher, sometimes by hand.
Never had any problem, they always wash perfectly.
There is no smoking (even from pork belly or bacon), smell, no mess.
I personally can’t see any negatives, its not any noisier than regular air fryer but so much more versatile.
Yes it is heavy, it’s not something that (I feel) you can keep in the cupboard and get it in and out all the time, you are better off to have permanent, dedicated, spot on the counter but for me this is not a negative as I use it ALL THE TIME anyway.
If I had to take just one kitchen gadget to a deserted island this would be THE ONE!

This Ninja foodie health grill is just brilliant, with its different functions all of which I haven’t used yet but the chips I cooked came out wonderfully crispy and cooked so quickly. We have found it easy to clean as well.
It is quite big so you need to have the space for it, mine stands on top of my hob.
You need several different inserts to enable you to do all the recipes some are included some are not. This could be a problem if short of storage. Otherwise it’s a great bit of equipment that allows you to produce so much great food with hardly any oil.

I’m so pleased with this fryer. We are use it as a grill I can say the steaks and chicken taste as proper barbecue. 8 minutes for steak 10 minutes for chicken breast. Juice and fast. I’m surprised about the quality of frying, potatoes looks so crispy and golden without being fried on deep oil. I recommend this 100 %
Bought this, as parents’ over broke down. Found that it has coped with all cooking requirements to date. My only suggestion to Ninja is to have dial controls instead of buttons, as my elderly parents find it difficult to press the small buttons. Would recommend this food grill because it is straightforward to use and long term will save on electricity bills as food cooks very quickly.
We use this most days Frozen Chios are great as are healthy roast potatoes. Sausages cook in 10 minutes no fat splash. All parts go in the dishwasher. It’s quite big but we have a space in our drawer to put away. Not used our oven’s grill since purchasing. Great if you have a fussy eater for doing separate meals
Bought this machine and wondered if it would join the rest of the machines on the side I don’t use but how wrong could I be. I use it every day. It grills to perfection and the air fry chips are to die for. Healthier too. I have even used it to bake so not putting my big oven on. Certainly recommend this machine.
The probe means fabulous steak and chicken.
Large enough to use for roasting as well so my oven has become redundant and things cook quicker.

Amazing! I cook chicken and lamb chops, reheat pizzas and all sorts! this is saving me a fortune as I no longer need to order takeouts as much as I can make the food taste twice as good at home.
I will add however the non-stick does wear away after just a few uses but its expected I guess as it hits some seriously high temperatures!.
in terms of size, this will be sufficient for a adult family of 4 MAX. it will fit 1 and a half medium chicken if cut into halves. It can fit 1 large chicken cut into quarters. It can fit 8 small lamb chops comfortably.
so overall size isn’t the best but the quality is well worth the compromise. This is a luxury A* product, please dont compare this to products sub 200.
