It's good for cooking your food, really annoying to clean.
Let me start with pros first. It’s really easy to use and it makes food way You expect it will do. For that it’s actually worth the money.
But at the same time it comes with some serious cons. You can remove grill, pans and splash guard and they are easy to clean but at same time it is ridiculously easy to scratch nonstick surface on them, all it takes is pieces touching each while device is in use.
Also, what pissed me the most that grill is getting greasy as hell inside, on parts thay You can’t really remove for cleaning, really really greasy. And to be honest as I looked throught the manual I didn’t managed to find informations how to safely clean device itself. Not saying it’s 100% was not there, just that manual is lacking some transparency on that aspect of using it, as I didn’t managed to find any detailed informations about it.

This product is an excellent cooker which has revived my fading appetite for food my old oven was energy hungry and very wasteful . With rising energy bills the Ninja Foodi is a better option . and is MUCH easier to keep clean x

I have not had this product for long but I have tried a few things in it and I am pleased with the results.
I have baked scones,air fried frozen chips and warmed something up and every one was successful.

If you’re looking for an air fryer. Look no further. Honestly one of the best I’ve had. All of the different cooking options have the expected result. For example, air fry is similar to frying and health grill is very similar to real grills!

The headline says it all really. Having a tiny kitchen this bit of kit is a god-send as it’s multi-functional. Air fryer, grill, fan oven all in one. Haven’t used the dehydrate function yet.
I’ve had a Shark vacuum cleaner & steam mop for ages, and just like those, the build quality on this is really good and spares are readily available. Well done Shark Ninja. Expensive, but worth it.

We’ve had Ninja Grill and Air Fryer for just over a week, so still experimenting but so far everything we’ve cook in it has turned out amazing. The guesswork is completely removed, especially with the temperature probe. Simple chicken breasts come out amazing with a cross cross charring, a smoky kind of flavour but perfectly cooked and moist. Just like a good restaurant, so we cooked more last night. Large pork chops, also perfect. Usually I’d have to fry those and stick them in the oven because they’re too thick to grill or fry and cook properly in the middle without burning. But with this, I just popped them in and 15 mins later they were done to perfection. Although I bought this primarily for the air frying function (for chips) we’ve haven’t used that yet because the grill is so good! My only criticism is that the grill plate, with its swirly pattern, is a pain to wash up without water spraying around everywhere! But it’s very non stick and if there’s space, washes well in the dishwasher.

I absolutely love it, it’s only now how I have missed out on making healthier meals without the use of oil, I’ve cooked fish, chicken strips, roast,chips etc and every time the results were perfect, cooked beautifully and crispy,I highly recommend getting one as it certainly beats having to fry everything in oil, I haven’t used any oil in it ,yet gives excellent results, what more can you ask for? the cleaning of the trays is easy as I soak them once they’ve cooled down ,all the grease comes off with ease once it’s been soaked in liquid and warm water, can knock this ninja as food has never tasted so good, my only regret is not getting it sooner.

I have one, and I bought two as presents. I bought two as Christmas presents as a people I bought them for was pleased with my one. Cooks the food really nice and easy from chips roast potatoes roasted vegetables chicken stakes (if I’m lucky) and cook lovely breakfast in it for two people easily the list is endless as a used to say only limited by your imagination. Before I forget roasted cauliflower stakes you would not believe how nice they are just cut the cauliflower from top to bottom about 1/4 inch thick just all a bit of oil and then air fry them amazing 🙂

Brought this for the wife for Christmas (at her request – what do you take me for!?! .)
Was dubious at the price but thought fair enough. Comes with straightforward, easy instructions.
So far the results are really good – I can’t speak for the cleaning as I don’t do any of that but the quality of the food produced is exceptional. Cooking steak with the temperature probe produces perfectly cooked meat. Still more experimenting with other meats & foods but so far so good.

I hardly use my cooker now and also if you keep on top of the cleaning the splatter disc then everything tastes perfect and easy to use.
My advice would be to buy baking sheets to catch the fat underneath to make cleaning easier.
As for cooking steaks, burgers, fish, fries, etc it’s so easy and also very quick compared to a cooker. Also its healthier. Must have item in anyones kitchen.

Where do I start?!
Probably the best item I ever purchased in my entire life. So much so I got another one for my mother in law for Christmas (she wanted one ever since I got mine about a year ago – I got mine directly from Ninja but the review you are reading is technically for the one I got for my MIL bought from Amazon on Black Friday).
I cannot describe how much I love my Ninja.
I cooked every kind of meat possible. I made pulled pork, steaks, hard boiled eggs (BAKE 160C 14 minutes – you will be amazed – they wont break), fish, sea food, bacon, sausages, whole chicken (BAKE 180C 30 to 45+ minutes depending on size – pro tip: spatchcock), wings etc (every part of the chicken, pork or beef basically), halloumi.
I pretty much stopped using oven, all I need in my life is Ninja Foodi Grill.
I use it at least once a day, I cook fresh and do meal prep.
Cooking time in comparison to oven is at least 1/2 to 1/4 depending on what you are making.
My mother in law eat more variety in her diet and she enjoyed home made chips, grilled cheese sandwiches etc. She absolutely loves her Ninja too! She’s an older person living alone, she doesn’t want to waste time and energy on using an over for one person. She had no problem with set up or instructions – Ninja Foodi Grill may look a bit like spaceship but it’s actually extremely easy to use. And the results are delicious.
We both mostly wash our grill parts in dishwasher, sometimes by hand.
Never had any problem, they always wash perfectly.
There is no smoking (even from pork belly or bacon), smell, no mess.
I personally can’t see any negatives, its not any noisier than regular air fryer but so much more versatile.
Yes it is heavy, it’s not something that (I feel) you can keep in the cupboard and get it in and out all the time, you are better off to have permanent, dedicated, spot on the counter but for me this is not a negative as I use it ALL THE TIME anyway.
If I had to take just one kitchen gadget to a deserted island this would be THE ONE!
To someone not easily impressed… It’s impressive
So I’m deeply cynical in reviews- too much smoke and mirrors out there so I held off buying one of these!
Now that I have, I’m pleased to report it’s an impressive appliance! This is the big brother of the range, and requires significant power but for short duration; hears up efficiently BUT if you’re taking to the caravan where there’s a limit on your Elec hook-up, bear in mind this absorbs around 10amps (2.3kW).
It’s ability to do crispy chips cut from potatoes rather than out of a bag is impressive! Im lookin forward to trying sweet potato wedges- and I’m confident it’ll do better than a domestic fan oven as it gets hot really quickly without building up too much steam!
The probe is also impressive- stick it in a chicken breast and it’ll cook it to perfection without overcooking.
I’ve a deep rooted dislike of the gimmick kitchen appliances you see on tv shopping channels- eg halogen ovens and mini rotisserie products! This is actually useful! If you’ve a family with teenage kids, it’s a good idea to go for a big one- I should point out it’s not particularly small or lightweight, but it’s done a good job of everything I’ve put in it so far!! I’ll report back for n the sweet potato wedges- might even take a pic!
Perfect size for two but it cooks so quickly you can fix for 2 more immediately. Dishwasher clean up. I soak the top filter screen in vinegar once a week to get an extra grease off. I use parchment paper in between the grill and air fry basket and main pan. It collects any extra oil and makes cleanup easier.

Amazing product, even more than I’ve expected.
Very easy to clean, just pop the accessories out and out in the dish washer.
The flat plate/griddle is great for making pancakes as the heat is evenly distributed and the heat is regulated.
Grill is actually smokeless as promised and the air fryer is excellent.

Love this grill. We haven’t stopped using it since taking it out of the box. We’ve cooked a full breakfast consisting of sausages, bacon, tomatoes and mushrooms, which has avoided messing up the cooker. I also baked a batch of muffins on the flat plate using some silicone muffin cases, which worked well. I am finding that this grill is perfect for two people as you can fit all of the ingredients on the plate to produce a full breakfast for two people. I haven’t noticed any smoke, although steam will escape from the rear as it gets very hot. I would suggest using it away from a wall to aid ventilation and prevent condensation. All in all a great product. It’s a bit like having an indoor barbecue and certainly saves turning on the cooker oven.
Valuable kitchen appliance
You do have to clean this regularly but easier than cleaning out an oven so no big deal.
I cannot bend to pick up heavy roasts from the oven so ideal.
It isn’t high enough to roast a large chicken but will cook if you spatchcock it.
Roast beef lots of room for roasters in there with it.
Airfryer makes good chips, grill makes amazing burgers.
I haven’t tried all the functions yet but so far no complaints.
I am very happy with this product and cooks faster than the oven.
The cook times take a bit of getting used to but it’s worth every penny.

This Ninja foodie health grill is just brilliant, with its different functions all of which I haven’t used yet but the chips I cooked came out wonderfully crispy and cooked so quickly. We have found it easy to clean as well.
It is quite big so you need to have the space for it, mine stands on top of my hob.
Fast and efficie
I have not rated flavour as I have never tried to eat it! It heats up much faster than a large oven, it air fries amazingly, chips are lovely, the temperature gadget works brilliantly, but you need to google temperatures for what you are cooking. The instructions are long and complex, it is tricky to get your head around them and I am sure I have not found all of its functionality, but once you have figured out how to switch on and set the time & temperature, it does work like a dream, Very economical as a spare oven or for total cooking for one or two people. It is massive. Takes most of the depth of the worktop, but it will fit in a cupboard when not in use. Really easy to clean. Bits go in dishwasher.

Produces nice food
A large unit with hinged lid, which means the cooker when in use needs to be away from the wall to open lid, but light enough to pull on worktop. Timing and temperature setting takes a while to get used to. Food comes out fine. Easy to clean the pans, but they stay hot for a long time. It is a very noisy machine and takes up a lot of space, but does cook the food well to my liking. Cooking time may be quicker than conventional methods, but they do recommend allowing the unit to warm up before putting the food in.
Fast and delicious
I’m so pleased with this fryer. We are use it as a grill I can say the steaks and chicken taste as proper barbecue. 8 minutes for steak 10 minutes for chicken breast. Juice and fast. I’m surprised about the quality of frying, potatoes looks so crispy and golden without being fried on deep oil. I recommend this 100 %
Best kitchen purchase in a lon while!
Bought this, as parents’ over broke down. Found that it has coped with all cooking requirements to date. My only suggestion to Ninja is to have dial controls instead of buttons, as my elderly parents find it difficult to press the small buttons. Would recommend this food grill because it is straightforward to use and long term will save on electricity bills as food cooks very quickly.
Love the air fry mode
We use this most days Frozen Chios are great as are healthy roast potatoes. Sausages cook in 10 minutes no fat splash. All parts go in the dishwasher. It’s quite big but we have a space in our drawer to put away. Not used our oven’s grill since purchasing. Great if you have a fussy eater for doing separate meals

Bought this machine and wondered if it would join the rest of the machines on the side I don’t use but how wrong could I be. I use it every day. It grills to perfection and the air fry chips are to die for. Healthier too. I have even used it to bake so not putting my big oven on. Certainly recommend this machine.

It’s big ! But I thought the same when I got the 9 in 1 max after a while it just blends in . You do need plenty of kitchen work tops especially if you are obsessed I have a collection now ninja duel and foodie max , grill and one that makes amazing ice cream thick shakes all amazing products, always so easy to clean and the grill is the same . I’m still learning with the grill but food tastes fantastic. Just remember they are fairly big and need a decent amount of space on your work top, hopefully this has helped you

There is minimal cleaning to do , no mess anywhere just the cooking bowl or griddle, and they are very easy to wash they are coated with a superior non stick coat, better than anything I have ever seen before.
The cooker remains clean, it needs minimal cleaning and there are no awkward bits to reach. I’m amazed, the design of this product is nothing short of brilliant. Will try baking a cake next just to see if it turns out as good as others have stated . I am very pleased with this. My old cooker is mostly unused since I got this cooker.

So good, we got rid of the microwave!
Near smoke free even when you fry a whole packet of bacon. Really nice grill markings on steak. Reheated left overs taste nicer than freshly made – crispy as opposed to soggy after microwaving. Game changer. Difficult to clean the inside of the lid, doing my best right now but will see how it goes long term

I have been using an Air fryer for just a year and thought I would update and get the Ninja it is excellent. So easy to use, so easy to clean. The food tastes great. I have cooked fried chicken, grilled fish, burgers, roast veg.
You definitely get what you pay for. It’s not cheap but you will definitely get your monies worth.
I love it and whole heartedly recommend it.

Brilliant works like a dream, Iv grilled, roasted, and baked all turned out with great results, just to leave and let it do it’s thing is great and to be able to do something else at the same time, next job a cheese and onion pie, should have bought one earlie
I firstly ordered the Ninja Air fryer with one drawer. It was good but the drawer for the food was so small. I could only fit in 2 quarters of pizza at a time. Very small indeed. Then got the 2 individual Ninja Air Fryer. This was better. It looked lovely and very well made. But the two drawers for the food was again very small. It was only for one person but wow very small drawers for your food. Finally ordered this Ninja Air fryer. Wow 3rd time lucky. This one is fantastic. Grills your food like BBQ. Steaks are so beautifully cooked. It Air fries, Bakes, Grills, Dehydrates e.g. fruit. I can honestly say its brilliant. BEWARE though when cooking things because it recommends Pre-heating it will cook your food very fast. E.g. pizza. I put a pizza in for 6 mins and burnt it again. So you can open the Ninja at anytime to look at the food. It browns food, bakes bread, crumbles, cakes and all the food. It truly is a great little oven. I have finally found the one for me. Big enough for e.g. chicken and vegetables and a jacket potato. Its extremely well made and sturdy. Highly recommended.

Can’t rate this highly enough. Use as a small oven to roast and bake, as an air fryer, a grill or to dehydrate produce for storage.
Food is flavoursome and cooked to perfection using the user friendly variable controls.

I am very happy with my Ninja air fryer makes fab roast potatoes nice crispy chips . Tried to bake a cake in it didn’t work very well , it says bake but no instructions what u can bake . Bought this used it once then the next 2days it was 40 cheaper I was gutted .. would recommend it .

A superb machine
Excellent machine.
It has replaced the oven for cooking chilled/frozen food in half the time using the air fryer.
Using the probe, it is big enough to roast a shoulder of lamb or a medium whole chicken and it is cooked to perfection.
Will try out the grill next!
How did I live without this?
Superb … I have rarely used my oven since I bought the Ninja. Perfect sweet potato chips, great chicken breast, lovely pork chops, burgers, sausages, lamb chops, frozen or fresh chips, I have even used it to roast a whole chicken … and it turned out perfectly. I know lots of people rave about the Ninja … frankly I was sceptical … but it lives up the all the hype, and I am so glad I bought it.
Food cooks quickly
Its a very sturdy piece of equipment that took a bit of getting used to, but I now love it. Food cooks quickly and it’s really versatile, you just need to take care with the temperatures as it can burn very quickly if it’s set to high. Additional cooking dishes for it are very expensive to purchase, so I think I might be improvising.
Tried a Cosori but didn’t like the draw system or the controls. Buttons for each type of food but recommendations on cooking time are at best a guide. Most reviews of air fryers say this. So I opted for the Ninja because it has an opening lid which means you can access food during cooking without taking out the draw and putting it on the worktop. The controls are different and much easier to use because you select what type of cooking eg air fry or grill press start and it automatically starts a pre-heat cycle and has a progress indicator. While it is heating up you use the dedicated temperature buttons to adjust the temperature to the recommendation for that particular food. Then set a time and wait for it beep to add the food. I learnt quickly to set a slightly longer time then check with a temperature probe. If it is done turns off. If not lower the lid and it carries on. Always check 30 seconds before the time is up because it pauses the timer so when you lower the lid you have time to add a couple more minutes.
It is easy to clean. Let it cool then either take out the main tray and the basket or griddle drop in the filter fill with hot water and soap and leave. Rinse and clean with the brush. I clean after each use where any oil is released. Don’t usually need to after cooking a pizza. Pizza is quick and easy. Take a pitta bread two teaspoons of Tesco pizza topping sprinkle with pre-grated cheese and whatever fine chopped mushroom pepper left over sausage ham thin slice tomato, sprinkle with a little Italian herb mix and cook. You can make it during the heat up cycle! Roast potatoes chips carrots all great with minimal fat.
The other feature that attracted me is the grill function. This sets a higher temperature than air frying and it uses the special griddle plate. Tried sausages twice perfect and didn’t need to turn them.
So I find the controls much easier and more logical to use. Much better than preset buttons for chips chicken etc. The quality is very high and the internal basket and griddle plate coatings much higher quality. It is twice the price but I can strongly recommend despite this.

A must Buy
My wife loves her Ninja Foodi Grill. It cooks steaks and burgers fantastically well. A lot more quieter than we though it would be and very easy to clean.

We really love using this Ninja, virtually every day since it arrived. Lots of experimentation going on. Although not many recipes included, lots more on line and the tables for the different uses seem very comprehensive.
Brilliant Buy
I was upgrading a five year old airfryer and struggling to justify the cost for the Ninja.
Purchased and a few week later, it’s brilliant! Of all my kitchen equipment, I’m a sucker for a new gadget, this justifies its price tag. I can’t recommend enough, I haven’t used my big oven since and if you like crispy BUY. Easy clean, easy to access, economic to run, easy on the eye, and takes a whole small chicken!!!

Our new best friend
We saw the tv adverts for the Ninja, and thought it sounded too good to be true, but bought one to try out. I have to say, we absolutely love it! We’ve cooked lamb, steaks and chicken in it so far, and they come out perfectly cooked! The best part is it’s very easy to clean too! It has now become our method of cooking meats. Will try other things to cook, it’ll be great to experiment more.
