Very hard to contact CTRONICS if you have a problem
I think this camera is good quality and a little
Difficult to connect to WiFi system. Tried to contact CTRONICS but after completing email unable to send as they have an encrypted set of numbers/ letters which is impossible to read you would think they don’t want to help or be contacted quite frustrating very poor customer service
Great camera when it connects!
I really struggled whether to give this 3 or 4 stars. When it works, it’s great. Nice clear picture day and night. Like the floodlights that come on at night to turn the picture from B&W to colour. Also like the way it tracks you around the garden when it detects you, then goes back to your preset position once you’ve gone. Also like the way you can move the camera by moving your finger across the screen of you phone or tablet.
Things I don’t like about it, are firstly the trouble I had putting it up. Unless I missed the part in the instructions where it says the camera body can be moved, (or removed), from the mounting bracket it gets in the way of the screws. I used my own screws and rawlplugs as didn’t trust the tiny ones that came with it. I had to use much shorter screws in the bottom two holes so I could get a ratchet and socket on them as there was no room for a screwdriver. Not even a stubby! Also the Ethernet connector is left open! If you’re not using it, there’s not a blanking cap to cover it so it’s protected from the elements. Had to tape it up to cover it. But the main problem I have with it, is the amount of times I can’t connect to it. When it connects to phone or tablet, it’s great. I love it. But most of the time, when it won’t connect, I just want to rip it off the wall and send it back! Also the time setting is a pain. On the rare occasions I manage to connect to the camera, I have to reset the time setting on it, as it always goes back to GMT +8. Which is no good in dear old Blighty!
Excellent picture quality
The picture quality is excellent including the night vision. The added benefit to the night vision is you can turn the picture into colour which lights up and deters people from entering the garden, it’s like an added security light which is so powerful it lights up my whole garden. I have found this a great feature when people have been lurking around.
On the negative side the app could be better, I have had to reinstall it a couple of times but it now working ok.

The camera is very easy to set up. Picture quality is super. Night vision excellent too.
Motion and human detection sensor faultless. Wanted the camera for the purpose of keeping an eye on motorcycles in the garage. One of the alarm settings is a barking dog which I think is a great feature. The alarms are quick and easy to disarm from the app on your phone. The price makes this super value with far more tech quality and features than I was expecting. Highly recommend this camera!

Amazing camara
Very impressed with this camara, far superior to my swann set up costing 250 and that was half price, the night mode is good and the colour night mode is to, very easy to set up, also tracks, wish I knew about these camaras a couple years ago, a lot for the price,would have saved be countless headaches.

Has ONVIF on board
Great camera. Great to have ONVIF on a cheaper end camera intergrated it into home assistant it can send a snapshot of the camera view when motion is detected. Well built camera would definitely recommend.

On the strength of good reviews I bought two of these cameras. I have various other static wifi cameras situated around my industrial area hence I’m not a novice with wifi cameras, but I liked the idea of motion tracking. I installed the first one via wifi and it worked great, but didn’t send push alerts to my phone. Spent hours & hours trawling every single possible issue with no success. Finally gave up…..uninstalled the camera and app then started afresh with the second camera and re-installed app. Exactly the same problem. My iphone is bang up to date, push notifications allowed on phone and camera app and so on. As far as I’m concerned, unless you have a crystal ball telling you an intruders around and check out your camera it’s absolutely useless.
EDIT: Used the Camhi app instead of Ctronics own app and all working well

Amazing camera. The picture quality is incredible, and the night vision is perfect for detecting anything in the dark. I love the way the camera moves when there’s is any movement in the area. You can also view it from your phone and talk through the speakers. I would definitely recommend this. Makes you feel safer in your own home.
Exceptional Camera, Great Price
I recently purchased a new property and I did bring along the camera equipment from my previous property to this one. However I did need an extra one to go at the front of the building as my existing ones only covered the back.
I’m really impressed with this camera as not only was easy to set up but the actual quality of the images is really superb compared to other ones that I’ve purchased in the past. At the price I would say this is definitely up there with some of the higher market items and definitely worth it.
It has night vision to which is obviously super important, and having looked back at the camera it’s safe to say that the night quality images are really excellent. Couldn’t be happier with it and will probably order a few more in the future to replace my old existing ones.

Security camera
After having three nights of some helpful idiot slashing our car tyres and having to replace them decided on this particular camera as it seemed just what was needed, being of the older group we didn’t want one too complicated. I am so pleased with this camera, it does all that it promised, very clear picture both daytime and night time, easily moves around to show a bigger picture and couldn’t have asked for a better one, my family are so impressed they are looking into buying the same one. It doesnt look out of place on the side of the house either. Hopefully this is working as a deterrant to anyone else who feels like causing a nuisance of them selves in the future.

This camera is amazing! I couldn’t believe the size for money. Quality of the picture is great, easy to install & I was able to set it up to my phone with ease. Great setting adjustability. Remote control from my phone. Motion detection is great. Alerts me when movement in the perimeters I set. Was watching when a cat walked into frame and didn’t send alert so humanoid detection works. Works well from my 4g away from home. 2 way speaker is awesome although I’ve turned it off as I could hear from a distance so a but intrusive but just one tap of the screen turns it back on. Output audio is great. You won’t find a better camera for price. My friend paid 200 for her system and is now going to switch to this one as it does more! Defo worth the money and then some!
It ok but can't constantly record just records motion.
We brought two of these cameras after recent trouble in the area.
However I was disappointed to discover you can’t constantly record unlike other cameras.

This is such a great security camera, we have set it up in the window upstairs and it gives us really clear imagery of what’s going on in the street. We can watch our parked cars and see anyone approaching the house. I would highly recommend.

Amazing Equipme
I can not recommend this camera enough, the quality of the picture is amazing. I had a friend look at it who works as security and he commented that it’s better than the ones they use in a well known shop. The night vision is great especially because our house is really dark at the back. I love how it connects to my phone and alerts me to any motion it picks up.

Great camera at an even better price
Having decided it was time to get a security camera I was a bit overwhelmed by the sheer number of different cameras to choose from. Eventually though I settled on Ctronics after reading all the reviews and I definitely made the right choice. The number of features that come with this camera I don’t think can be beaten at this price. I wanted a wireless camera that would record in 1080P with good night vision and I got that and more. Flood lights, two way audio, auto tracking, the list goes on. Setup was nice and easy and it was connected to the app in no time. I’ve only had the camera up a day and haven’t had a chance to check out the tracking feature yet but if it’s as good as the rest of the camera then I know I won’t be disappointed.

Can’t connect to anything?
I’m sure it’s fine but I can’t get it to connect to anything or anything to recognise it. I don’t want give it a bad review as it’s probably me doing something wrong. But I’ve tried 5 times now following the instructions and nothing.

The down side is getting it connected to your own Wifi connection you will need a 100% wifi signal to start with and then takes a few attempts (not a 90% or 95% connection as it does not connect) it is ok hardwired.
No problems using the App
This was my first pan & tilt IP camera as my others are just fixed and I must say I’m very impressed, I want to replace my other cameras now with this! For 49.99 (09/10/20) its a good buy for the features and capabilities of this outdoor camera.

In detail:
I’ve been looking at pan & tilt cameras for a while as I wanted one to supplement my fixed cameras which I have 5 of scattered around the place all using the CamHi App. I didn’t want to have to use another App and the ones I could see on Amazon using the CamHi App would cost me near enough 100 which I wasn’t prepared to pay. Fortunately for me having read one of the reviews for this camera someone mentioned they used the CamHi App and that was it, sold!
It arrives well packaged and secured in strong stiff bubble wrap. Supplied is the camera, ethernet cable, screws & wall plugs, power supply and manual. I ordered a 64Gb micro SD card from Amazon B073JYVKNX to fit in this camera. Setting up was straight forward and I’ll list the procedure as follows:
1. Download App, I used CamHi
2. Install SD card if using onboard storage, unscrew cover on camera and insert card, see manual.
3. Connect ethernet cable to camera and router (I used a powerline adapter)
4. Connect power supply and switch on.
5. Wait a minute or so and on the App tap ‘Add Camera’ or +
6. Click search off ‘Lan’
7. Tap the camera its found, the I.D. of the camera shown e.g. TTTT-123456-PYBDE should match the I.D. printed
on the side of the camera.
8. It will then ask you to set time zone and change password to your choosing. Use GMT 0:00 Europe/Dublin with
DST set to on or off for time zone.
9. Now go to main menu and tap on the settings cog next to the displayed camera.
10. Now select Wi-Fi settings, then Wi-Fi manager and choose your router, type in password of router and
connect.
11. Once it displays ‘Wi-Fi success’ you have then connected camera to your wifi.
12. Pull out ethernet cable and the camera will momentarily go off line but then connect to wifi.
13. That’s it, your all set to install the camera wherever you want.
It’s best to read the manual and play around with the App as there is a lot that can be done with the camera and there’s a ton of settings and features on the App. The App works on android and Apple plus PC software can be downloaded which in my opinion is even better than the App.
The coolest thing I like about this camera is the wide angle of view and the pan & tilt. The camera can simply be moved by just swiping the screen, it’s quite good to be honest. The next best thing is the ‘Human Tracking’ feature. If a person comes into view, the camera will follow that person until they go out of view, the camera then resorts back to its original position. Watching the camera feed live when this happens is amazing, a yellow box appears around the person and the camera follows them! I have read reviews that say it isn’t perfect but it hasn’t failed me yet.
There are FTP settings, email alerts, two way voice conversation, alarm setting etc, again best to read the manual on all this. I’ve set my camera to record direct to the onboard SD card, by clicking ‘recording schedule’ on the app menu, you can change the time segment lengths of each recording, mines set at 900 seconds, which allows me to view around 15 minute recording segments at a time plus it makes searching the footage easier and quick to download the data from the camera to my phone. The 64Gb SD card will give me on average about 8 – 10 days of recordings, then when the memory runs out the camera will start over writing the earliest recordings.
The quality of the picture is excellent, when viewing on the App be sure to select HD viewing (Bottom right corner), this will give you a perfect image. Night time is just as good, one can choose colour or monochrome image although the colour option at night isn’t as clear as the monochrome.
That’s basically it, I’m over the moon with it and would highly recommend this camera.
The first thing I would like to mention was how well the camera was packaged, it came wrapped up with protective plastic that no matter how hard it got treated during delivery the camera would be ok.
I set my camera up on my mobile phone, which I found very easy to do if you followed the directions in the instruction manual. If you did want to use it on your PC a LAN cable is provided.
After setting up the camera the interface on my mobile was easy to understand and using the basic features was so easy to customise to your needs. I particularly like the human detection that tracks them as they move.
I do have some other security cameras and the two way audio function on this camera is by far superior to my other cameras as it’s much louder and clearer.
The picture quality is excellent for a camera in this price range and the night vision is also very good. Another feature I like is when the lights come on with human detection.
I have fitted a SD card to my camera and the playback is very easy to use and I like the way it’s broken up into sections making it easy to find the section of recordings you want. Also showing on the clips what ones have detections on them.
Overall a very nice camera that has plenty of functions for a reasonable cost.

Quite amazing how the tech improves at the price
I have a couple of cameras already and thought for the money this seemed to have new features at a great price (auto tracking and ptz). Nicely packaged, setup was very easy. I used Ethernet rather than WiFi. Note one of the plastic antenna has nothing inside (presume for a different model).
Image quality looks ok. Settings are more intelligent than my other cams at a similar price when bought.
Let’s see how long it lives for, but pretty crazy the amount of tech in this package for the money. Note the camera is all plastic (looks fine and feels solid)
Worth the money and great pictoriL
I brought the camera along with two others too go around the perimeter of my home.
It took a while to get it working properly.
But once sorted it gives perfect video and pictures, clear enough for police to use
It will give you colour at night but this means there are strong lights on all the time.
But the black and white is just as good..

This camera works perfectly as a front porch camera, I have it set so that it only picks up people at my door rather than everyone that passes, so I am not unnecessarily disturbed.

I am having trouble with illegal dumping and bought a camera to sort this out , it would not work from the box which was really annoying.
out of frustration I bought this unit and boy am I glad the first one ( different maker) didn’t work as this unit is pure class , what you are getting is a really high quality picture, day and night ,the tracking is excellent and returns to original position when finished.
easy to install ,bottom 2 fixing screws can be got at if you twist camera to the side .
app is easy to set up .
a 64gb card is good for about 2 weeks recording.
if you are looking for a high quality product at a great price don’t look any further this is a no brainer.
by the way I have my illegal dumping friends now on camera and reg and passed on to the authorities who will make them make a nice contribution to the local community .

It’s not huge so not very noticable but still looks stylish. Fairly easy to set up with simple instructions to follow. I would definitely recommend if anyone wants something to make you feel safe and give you piece of mind

This PTZ from Ctronics is incredible. After purchasing their wireless doorbell and being extremely satisfied, I decided to get this one as well.
The camera, power supply and included parts come very well packaged with air cushioning in the box. Setup is very easy with the Ctronics app. Control of the camera is better than I expected, you can swivel the camera from your touch screen! There is also automatic human detection which works excellently.
Picture quality is truly fantastic, I was very surprised. The WiFi connectivity is great as well, I had no signal issues.
I’d really recommend this camera if you’re looking to up your home security or if you have any reason to survey your premises.

This product arrived before I expected it to which is always welcome. We got it out of the box to see it was bigger than we expected but once the product is up against the house it fits in nicely. Set up wasn’t too bad but did get complicated for a novice on these things, switching to WiFi from LAN etc. Once worked it out and walked through the instructions it really wasn’t too bad. Have got alerts set up to a mobile devices for movement, which is fabulous and handy that you can even talk through the two way speaker to whoever is on the other end. Overall really impressed with the functions available and being able to control which direction the camera looks in via the app aswell. Will be ordering a micro sd card for it so we can record photos/videos for future reference. Night vision on it is great and gives very clear picture and even has an alarm that you can remotely activate from the app to alert people to possible situations.
I decided to purchase this recently as I have seen some intelligent auto tracking CCTV cameras which are really clever and very expensive. This was a steal at 59.99, so I thought I would give it a go.
I chose this camera over others in the entry level bracket based on other reviews and the fact that the camera can record colour night vision.
I wanted to set this up as a stand alone unit to run along side my traditional CCTV system, not recording constantly but on motion detection. The unit does have some great features but I do wish you could dial in and adjust some other features to do with the night vision and motion detection. The motion detection records 15 second clips and you cant adjust the clip length. I also find the motion detection at night quite limiting on what it picks up. You seem to have to be quite close to the camera for night activation. Whereas during daylight hours the motion detection is far better. The colour night recordings work by detecting movement via infrared black and white monitoring. The camera then turns on 4 ultra bright LED’s and switches to colour filming. It films for it’s 15 seconds tracking the object then returns to its home position. I like the fact that the LED’s come on and track the persons movement which I think could be a good thing in it’s own right.
The camera uses a micro SD card upto 64GB. It can be set to record all the time, as a schedule or as I have it set, upon motion detection. Each 15 second clip uses abour 3-4 MB of space. It logs each recording with a time and date stamp and you can access the camera via the Ctronics app to download and view these recordings. They’re in 1080P HD quality and I believe it uses a 2mp sensor for this. My only gripe with the video quality is the colour night recordings, they’re quite foggy and with movement the camera struggles to pick up much detail. In daytime I have no issues.
I found the unit easy to setup, the most time consuming part was selecting the most suitable location for the camera.
I like the camera and I think it’s great value for money and nice quality. It may even help catch someone up to no good so it’s a thumbs up from me.

Wanted to replace a camera that I brought many years ago as the focus has gone. I had a couple of requirements; 1) Be ONVIF 2) Work with Synology Surveillance Station.
This ticks the box for both. Setting up the camera was easy with the instruction leaflet, however I did need to reset the camera twice before it worked and a note for other users if you are using your mobile to set up the camera disable mobile data when you connect to the cameras WiFi otherwise you may not be able to complete the setup.
Photo/recording quality is great, motion detection is pretty good. The PTZ controls work great.

Couldn’t find anything to say what size MicroSD card to use. I used a 256GB card and it works fine.
picture quality is very good as is the ability to take photo’s and record movement. the video recording is easy to access and good quality. Im looking to buy a second one for the back of my house.

This is an excellent Camera. I have hard wired it via an Ethernet Cable as WiFi can be a bit flaky outside. The App on my Android phone is great and gives full control over all the Camera functions, Motion alerts are sent in real time as a notification on the phone. SD card of 64GB gives ample space, as you can see a waterproof junction box is required to make the connections to the Camera. Night vision and motion tracking are excellent. It follows people around as they come into view. All in all great value Camera. You can switch the lights on at night to see everything in colour you have to turn them off as its too bright to be on all night.
The only issue I have with this Camera is that it only records Alarm movement in 14 second bursts, so if you have 2 minutes of movement you will have at least 8 short recordings. Why they configured it like this I have no idea, maybe they will fix this in a future software update. Having tested this for a couple of weeks I have now purchased another to cover the rear of my property I’m so impressed by the first one. Highly recommend this Camera it really is excellent. I can live with 15 second recording clip it dosent miss any movement during the clips you just have to click each one to view all the detected movement.
Value for money
It’s a really good camera I found it easy to install. The camera has a motion sensory, it also has human detection. it can cover 355 degrees which was a pleasant surprise as there is no blind spots for the camera.
On your phone you can app zoom in and out. You can zoom in on things that looks suspicious or that are at a distance.
Using the app you can communicate with who is at your door as the camera has a built in speaker.
The camera is HD, The night time mode is super clear. Overall I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Great video camera security
Having had a few unwelcome visitors looking around my house in the night time I thought it was time to install some extra security.
The video camera was packed very well and arrived promptly, which was good as I had a couple of days holiday in which to install it and get to learn to use it’s functions.
I followed the instruction booklet which gave various methods on how to connect the camera to your phone and your wifi. I could choose a wired LAN connection to set it up or do it wirelessly, I chose wirelessly as it looked straightforward.
I chose to temporarily install it in my garage to get an idea of camera coverage etc. It fixes with four simple screws and the supplied power supply is plugged into the unit’s cable. I’m going to move it to the outside of my garage at around 2.2m high, although any height can be chosen but bear in mind you will have to stretch the power supply to an internal socket.
I’m going to place the cables through the wall where it is dry as the cables and connections will benefit from this.
After downloading the CTRONICS app synchronise the date/time with your phone. Apparently the CAMHI also works. When setting up the app bear mind if you choose Scan QR code you will have to scan the sticker on the top of the camera for it to link up with the app.
A SIM card is not included but so far I’m happy for it to send the images/videos to my phone. If you want to install a SIM then it’s a Micro SD card 64M, A SanDisk Ultra SD card will do.
There are 6 functions as the top of the screen that allow you to flip the screen, zoom in, ask it to send email alerts when the camera detects an intruder, change the colour on screen to be black and white or colour, turn on intelligent tracking where the camera follows a person, turn on or off sound, take a photo/video. Most of these I found very useful.
The audio function is at the bottom left and you can listen live or hold the mic (bottom right) and speak through the camera.
The spotlight comes on when detecting someone in the night time when it is dark.
The pictures and videos can be saved on your phone. The quality of the video and pictures looks very clear.
I like the idea that you can pre record to play a message to any unexpected visitors !
I would like to know if there are any option to add firmware updates if and when they appear.
I can recommend this camera to anyone who wants to add extra security around their home., it has lots of useful functions and I feel happier at home and if we are away.
I have not this video came for long so I’m currently only giving it a four star,
my rating may change when I see how durable this unit is. But so far I am really happy.
Reliable security camera with bonus floodlight feature
I wanted an adjustable camera for the back garden to check whilst i am away – this fits the bill perfect and works well for the money, biggest bonus for me is the night time floodlight which lights up the area rather than relying on night vision.
Positives: adjustable viewing position, good camera (not great), light plastic build and waterproof, floodlight lights up the area and acts as a deterrent, application control, email notification.
Negatives: Camera quality is not excellent but still works well, plastic needs to be tested long term, the software is basic and no firmware update function?

Really good quality night and day!
I purchased this camera due to having a number of van thefts in my village. Its the perfect camera when im at work i can check in when i need to by using the app on my phone. The quality of the picture is really good and it has a motion detection so folows you around. The nighttime quality is just as great too considering most of the van thefts happen during the night. Another bonus feature that is so helpful is i get notifications if someone is at my door so if i miss a parcel and can speak to them through the camera and request they leave it somewhere safe! Its really come in handy and made me feel safer. Its so easy to install and is not run on batteries so you dont have to worry about changing them constantly you can also connect to your computer or laptop too!

I bought this camera so I could keep an eye on the security of our cars that are parked out the front of our house. Due to buying a Citronics video doorbell before and being pleased with it I didn’t hesitate in buying the same make for this.
The app is easy to use and can position the camera how you want, when you want as it has a 355 degree rotation.
You have a 2 way audio system with it too so if anyone put this in the garden to watch their kids play safe you could communicate with them without having to actually go out or watch the video back to see any incidents that happened (kids falling etc).
The camera has a double antenta for better WiFi connection and it seems really good from what I’ve witnessed having no connection issues at all.
All in all I’m very happy with this purchase.

With fast delivery and a great price, this security camera is the real deal! I purchased it for extra security at home. I am yet to fit to my wall due to having to paint the exterior of the property however I have tested it out and we are very impressed. Its so easy to set up and connect via the app on my smart phone, I love that you can rotate it via your phone and see everything on there!
