Bought as a second saw to go with my husqvarna. This saw is easier to start and more powerful although a bit heavier. for normal use this is now the go to saw. Chains appear a bit flimsy but so far have performed well
I have had problem in the past with a hyundia 62cc 20 inch chainsaw.
but this model is perfect for what I need.

Not wanting to spend too much on a chainsaw I decided on this after reading reviews. So far so good. Simple to assemble, starting was a breeze and it soon whips through some tree trunks. Not going to be using it every week but it feels solid so hopefully it will keep me entertained for a few years
After many years of various chainsaws it was a wicked change to have a suppressed pull cord, it not only has a easy start but it doesn’t rip your arm off with recoil. Great value for money. Easy to assemble. A great all rounder and would definitely recommend it. Thank you !
Very pleased with saw’s performance. It fired on second pull from box and started on 3rd gentle pull without the choke. All subsequent hot starts were on a first gentle pull. A little heavier than my 14 inch saw but then it has almost twice the size of motor. The saw is a pleasure to use, is well balanced and cuts superbly.
Wow bought yesterday, used today and well impressed. Great price for a decent bit of kit. Followed a YouTube video to add the chain and bar and was so easy to fit. Except for having to re-tighten the chain a few times which is normal for a brand new chain, there was zero issues with this chainsaw and it was so easy to use. Zero kickback, felt safe and enjoyable to use. Cuts really well and definitely seemed like it should have cost more. Very happy customer, well done Hyundai

Build quality is as you would expect for the price.
Things to note. The chain oil and petrol will need completely filling after around 40 mins use. May as well but a 5l bottle of chain oil, critical if you want to keep the saw running ok. Need 2stroke oil also which you mix with petrol 1:25. Comes with a handle measuring bottle for quick mixing. My main issue was the chain keep slacking off, and took my a while to get the knack if adjusting and identifying when it did need attending to, so was pretty frustrating at first. I also had issue with the pull cord getting stuck and losing the tension, a YouTube video helped me rectify myself, no issues since. Bought this principly because a large oak tree lost a big branch 18-24″ this chainsaw took care of it. Value for money, yes I would recommend vs more expensive options like Stihl.

The Hyundai model specific YouTube video really helped and simplified the chainsaw assembly, this video was with a qualified technician explaining the entire process from unboxing to the final assembly, interestingly it did not show the chainsaw actually being started up. This is probably the most challenging element of the process in holding the chainsaw safely and starting it up which I am very right sided is problematic as the starter is on the left-hand side of the chainsaw

This machine is powerful, it is perfect for light work but if you need to drop too many larger trees this is not for you.

The machine looks of good quality and feels nicely balanced.
The included bag is great for storage and is large enough to fit the small included tool kit, but sadly lacks a loop or pocket to store any fuel or oil, this doesn’t bother me though as it’s nice to have a bag included at all.
For the price, I’m quite impressed so far, and am looking forward to giving it some work to do.

Just tried this chainsaw , cut through a 20″ Log no problem. Used it for about 45 min and not too heavy to operate, just let the chainsaw do the work.
Gave it 6 pumps on the fuel bowl, 1 pull with the choke on, the 2 pulls without the choke and it ran great.
Not hard to pull the starter niether, when hot starts first time.

I would not even look at a saw this cheap normally as I have always had Husqvarna saws, but I know someone who bought one and I can’t believe how good they are for the money.
After assembly it started second pull and was put to work and did not disappoint, I am pleased with my purchase and all the extras that come with it.
Pleased with it. The instruction manual good be a little clearer. Have contacted the helpline about something I wasn’t clear about but they were extremely helpful. So far so good with the hard wood that it has cut with very little effo

Was very sceptical when purchasing as we had some really big trees to take down after the storm – couldnt be more pleased though.

Chainsaw is an easy starter. My other chainsaws are often difficult to start so it is a real pleasure to see an end to that.

Researched various chainsaws and this one seemed to be the best value. Unfortunately, between researching and ordering the price had risen by 10 but I guess if you snooze you lose!
Having said that it is still value. Easy to assemble and very easy to start both from cold and from warm – just leave the choke and pump alone. In fact it started before I had pulled the cord fully out.
Cutting is easy, just let the saw do the work by gravity, no pressure needed.
Overall, very pleased with the chainsaw and would definitely recommend.
Very easy to assemble and started first time following the instructions. Great to have a spare chain but would recommend getting a chain sharpening kit – chain does come up well on touch up – well worth the money and apart from petrol and oils ready to go out the box

cant fault it have two corded electric chainsaws with 16 ins bars to compare, but it has a bit more power, had to turn down the idle screw a lot used a 95 octane as it still e5 and keep hearing about 2 stroke problems on other garden equipment with e10 . will try to update this find it easy to start cold or warm. im very carefull not to flood having seen other reviews. Plan to try some milling with it. yeah did smoke a bit but turning down the idle seems to help a lot might smoke a bit on start up should clear.
This chainsaw was easy to assy and start, it cuts really well have been cutting some large trees down, and logging then, this chainsaw works really well for me, would recomend if you need a larger chainsaw

My first chainsaw. I have a large garden and needed a chainsaw for a while as I have some wind damaged trees to sort out.
I took a chance on this chainsaw and was not disappointed, it cut really well and in no time had the job sorted.
Arrived in good time and well packaged. Impressed with the build quality. Solid and robust, but light enough to handle comfortably for several hours clearing fallen trees and branches. Would recommend.

Very nice chainsaw, easy too assemble and instructions easy to follow. My only quibble, is the handle area is to plastic and sharp on the hands, when transporting it around. Overall very happy.
The bar snapped when I first used it and the supplier replaced it within a few days.

Bought a chainsaw from B&Q but took it back because it was just not up to the job. Ordered this one, 25 cheaper. Was a bit dubious as had to assembly it but it really was very simple. It’s a mean piece of kit and has cut through our trees no problem. Very highly recommend.
I didn’t have high hopes for this chainsaw because of the price but I couldn’t have been more wrong. My saw has kept up with brand new stihl and husquvana saws that are 1000 plus. I recommend this to any one who wants a top end chainsaw either for professional or domestic use that won’t break the bank.
After owning a electric chainsaw I decided to upgrade to a proper petrol one, great piece of kit, cuts through trees like butter!! No complaints here!
Thought it was going to give problem starting ,but started on the 10th pull . That’s is about the normal with all new petrol, this has a short and fast recoil so don’t try and pull it like the old style of starter on saws, well balanced for the size cut hard wood what is a good test for any saw want through it like hot knife through butter ,for a 62 cc would recommend it to any one thinking on a 20 inch saw . The front handle has a very good feature on it it’s got a finger grip on of the handle as well as on the side so your not having to guess .
What an outstanding cutting machine it is, to date, working extremely well, if used properly, HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The saw was easy to put together and feels good strong saw,as soon as I put oil and two stroke mix in and primed it it fired up first time. Although not cut any big trees until couple weeks time it coped with a few stumps I needed cut up easily. Only fault is instructions could be little clearer but no big deal.
This is my second chainsaw. first one is only 16″ so the extra length is great. This thing starts very easily hot or cold. Has loads of power and has been a real asset. Its now my saw of choice.
Came with a damaged handle piece but wass replaced with no quibbles so more than happy
I’m using the saw in a small piece of land/large garden context and I’m a novice. Instructions were fairly easy to follow to assemble it and after an hour of use its going well and coping with the large tree I’m clearing. When taking a break it wasn’t that easy to re-start but I put that down to not being used to it.
Instructions made assembly seem more difficult than it actually is. Very easy to start and use. Gets through the fuel quicky and in chopping up a tree (about 30 feet long) the blade has dulled considerably. This could be classed as normal but I’m no expert so can’t comment as to if this is in the range of acceptable, unit is supplied with two blades so not a significant issue.
As described the unit starts easily which is always good!
Having read lots of reviews I “gambled” on this purchase to some degree but overall I’m reasonably satisfied.
One negative for me is despite ensuring the nuts are well tightened, the chain appears to slacken off during use but the screw to re-tighten the chain doesn’t correct this as it is supposed to.
For a hundred and twenty notes I am fairly satisfied in the short term, if it performs for the next couple of years I will be very happy!

Feels very solid good quality material used in construction of saw feels like a 300 saw.
Good light saw nice long cutting bar started first pull of the cord
Not to noisy doesn’t give of a lot of vibration.
Auto chain lube works well only thing I would say is adjust the lube rate down as my saw was turned up full and did pump out a lot of oil witch ended up dripping out of the saw
But once adjusted a few clicks problem solved.

Don’t know how it would perform under heavy daily use but for someone who needs it for a few jobs and bit of regular log cutting job for the fire 100% the saw for the job at the price
I already have a Stihl MS181 but needed something with a longer bar for the once in a blue moon occasion I need the additional cutting capacity.
Figured this saw (or the near identical looking Hyundai version) would work as the “big” chainsaw I dragged out when needed, and given the such infrequent use I just can’t justify spending the money on a bigger Stihl.
For day to day firewood, or chopping smaller stuff this would get tiring – it’s considerably heavier than my Stihl (or Ryobi One+ Battery Cordless which is my first point of call to be honest for anything less than a dozen cuts).
In summary, if this is your only chainsaw consider if you need such a big “old-fashioned” saw. A lighter more modern unit from a bigger brand will, IMO, last a lot longer and be nicer to use.
However if you need something with a 20″ bar for occasional large cuts, this has plenty of grunt. The little leaflet in the box recommending Aspen2 makes a lot of sense – put that in and greatly reduce the risk of the saw being put away only for the fuel to go off before its next use 😉
I must say a nice looking power saw. The cord malfunctioned and this was with careful use on the second occasion. Cannot get spares for this chainsaw according to my local dealer. Now not any use at all. Hyundai name not as good with their power tools
Great saw, cuts easily and smoothly with enough weight to assist cutting but still light enough to enable easy operation. All in all a very ‘comfortable’ tool!
