Combination microwave Panasonic
Not had it long just a few days but I can honestly say it’s brilliant cleans good and cook’s fantastic and I love Panasonic would highly recommend
Great quality and easy to use.
Oven internally improvement on dimensions, quieter operation, great range on auto/programs food options. Only one height food tray was the only downside.
Easy to use but a replacement for my previous Panasonic.
Like stainless steel interior as much easier to clean than my old combi.
Quality Well Thought out and Designed Product that is built to last.
My Previous Panasonic Combination: Lasted for 14 years and 2 months.
One thing I was really annoyed about when unplugging my old Panasonic, was when I noticed the extraction vent grid at the rear was totally blocked, and I truly believe that it would have lasted a lot longer if I had cleaned this at least once a year with a vacuum cleaner nozzle.
My new Panasonic NN-CD87KSBPQ
When operating this for the first time I made sure to heat it up for 5 mins, in order to clear the anti corrosion oil inside (Please read the Operating instructions before use)
What I have noticed on this model that is a refinement over the last cooker were the following;
1) Larger internal space. 2) Quieter in use. 3) Easier to operate. 4) The read out display is clearer and more informative. 5) There are no vents on the top but are discretely in place on the sides. 6) The internal grill bar is now more efficient and hidden behind the internal top perforated panel. 7) Easier to clean.
8) the front door is an improved design compared to my previous cooker and I appreciated this touch.
I appreciate the efforts that Panasonic have paid to Refinement and improvements, of which is Very Reassuring.
My closing remarks are this please make sure that you clean the rear Extraction grid plate once a year.
I love operating this cooker and have no hesitation in Recommending this to all buyers.
Fantastic combination microwave
Firstly this thing is big – measure to check your space. But once you’ve enjoyed the space you’ll never go back.
Automatic routines work very well. Has cooked everything really well, quiet, stylish.
Microwave
After having others this one is so much better simpler to use and quicke
A LIFE SAVER LOVE IT..
I am totally in love with this product. Every time l use it l am so impressed. What a genious of an invention. Brilliant so easy to use. Its just like a top of the range car.
An excellent quality oven from a most respected company
An appliance so simple to operate and keep clean, meals cooked in a fraction of the time it takes a conventional oven!
Superb large 34 litre microwave
Spent a long time deciding on which microwave to purchase and I eventually went for the Panasonic Combination Oven & Microwave. The controls and operation take a while to understand but once you find your way around it’s a fantastic unit. Superb build quality and great value for money – Joh
Excellent versatile microwave
Never cooked scones in a microwave before! Uses much less energy than the main ove
Excellent produc
Very good product and brand. Replacing an old Panasonic model which lasted over 20 years.
Brilliant piece of ki
Wanted a combination microwave and have found this to be brilliant so far, have only recently bought it so not used all the functions but have used the microwave and grill functions and each have been wonderful. I’m so pleased I bought this one.
Great product does everything!
Best microwave on the market!! Skeptical at first because of such a high price point for a microwave, but you won’t need an oven again!! Brilliant intelligent tech cooks everything perfectly
If I could give this 6 stars I would!!
Great microwave combination oven, 1000w power for microwave is magic but also the ease of altering that output so as not to overheat items is also brilliant. The combination programmes are really useful producing perfectly cooked moist succulent roast joints. May not be the cheapest combi-microwave but certainly fits the bill as a great wave of cooking food, normal fan oven has just about become redundant thanks to this, which with my back problems is a blessing cos this being on a worktop is far easier for me to load and unload than low level fan oven is.

One of the best combination ovens available
I bought this oven last week but had a Panasonic combination oven years ago which was superb, I made the mistake of replacing it with a Russell Hobbs which was under powered, cheap and nasty. When that failed I bought this model, I am still in the process of getting used to it but cooked a whole 1.7 Kg chicken in it on auto mode which came out slightly pink at the core so had to be cooked for another 20 mins than the auto cook wanted it to be so in future ill set the weight slightly higher. I also cooked a chicken breast wrapped in foil with garlic and ginger on the convection setting and that came out perfect, slipped in a quiche for the last 20 mins which was also perfect.. When cooking just keep an eye on the surface to make sure is not burned by the grill which comes on to heat the oven and maintain temperature. I used the micro part to melt cheese on toast and that was perfect.
I am pleased up to now but need to get more used to the extensive programming which I find a little complex to be honest.
Ease of use
Used for defrost, microwave & oven. Just replaced another make which was very complicated. Would really recommend this one.
Perfect microwave
The best microwave on the market. Would recommend it with confidence to anyone.
Fantastic big microwave, easy to use
This is the 3rd Panasonic combination stainless steel microwave I have had over the years. My old one was getting on in years and had become a problem cutting out, so time for an upgrade!
My new one doesn’t disappoint….it’s really easy to use, to clean and also looks very stylish.

Great machine, highly recommended
Very efficient and cooks well. New dial over buttons is faster to use.
Good price in the sale
Good value in the sale, not used in full, like design.easy enough to use. Easy to clean. Easy to operate.
Excellent microwave ove
I am really impressed with this having put it through its passes everything has worked well. Would definitely recommend it even if we hadn’t had a 90 discou
Does all I need but sometimes explanation booklet is difficult to understand
Booklet complicated
Easy to clean
If can understand instructions works well
Same size pan as 27l
Really like this combie but the pan is the same size as my old Panasonic 27ltr version when there is space on the glass platter for it to be bigger. You have extra width, depth and height in the unit which is great but the same size pan? Usual learning curve when you get a new combi of working out how to get the results you used to get with your old one (which had taken you a while to optimise) but no real issues. More metal on this one and less plastic which makes it feel/look more premium.
Beautiful microwave
Panasonic nn cd87ksbpq combi convection microwave excellent microwave powerful plenty room for most food stuffs, and bonus is unlike most microwaves very easy to clea

Grea
After months of research decided on this model. Glad i did, easy set up and great results.
Replaced our aging Panasonic.
An excellent product. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. The auto functions are so easy to use, especially the baked spud option.
Roasts a chicken perfectly.
I’m particularly impressed with how well it cooked popcorn the other night. 2.5 mins, a very puffed bag, no burning and only a few unpopped kernels.
Replaceme
I had a previous version of this oven. After twenty years of daily use, the front fell off and the glass smashed, nothing else could replace it. So far, it’s every bit as good as the oven it replaces.

Microwave
I love Panasonic .Its my third one over many years .Wouldnt go for any other brand
Usability
I have not used all this items yet but I have found the ones I have used to be easier to use and understand
i bought a warehouse deal of this model but had problems with the senses. So I returned it. I liked it so much re ordered a new one. I have had no more problems since. Great for fish, veg, jacket potatoes, Panasonic have a great customer svcs team, always helpful. Also, extending the warranty for 5yrs is cheap. if you need a good microwave, you can trust buy a new one of these

The good:
– Enormous inside without being much bigger on the outside than models with less capacity;
– very logical, simple controls, with a “hand holding” mode (which can be switched off);
– feels well-made (though still a bit tinny, like all microwaves);
– oven heats up pretty fast (I timed 7 mins to 180c) and the temperature, measured with an oven thermometer, is accurate;
– pretty quiet (then again, our old micro sounded like a helicopter, so YMMV);
– microwave itself is excellent.
The “meh”:
– “Genius” function is a bit gimmicky, though it works well enough if you’re into ready meals;
– Unimpressed with the grill so far – took 4 mins to toast a slice of bread on one side. Probably good for bacon, etc, but haven’t tried yet.
The weird:
– As others have noted, the oven uses the same heating element as the grill. And then Panasonic tell you to use the stand (which has long legs). I baked some frozen croissants (at 180c) in the recommended fashion and the result was burned croissants. The solution is simple: use a stand with short legs, so the food isn’t close to the heating element. The stand from our old micro has two sets of legs (see pic) but the Panasonic one doesn’t. I find it genuinely weird that they haven’t thought this through. They could have given the oven a separate heating element or (at the very least) supplied a double-height stand.
In conclusion, I’m very happy with this machine, apart from its one foible, and that can be worked around.

Panasonic microwave with the addition of oven and grill
It’s like the previous one which I had for 3 years, the only negative is that my previous was flatbed with shelves.
I have used it to cook baked potatoes, fantastic, unsure is sensor detected weight but perfect, crispy and powdery. Microwave is really powerful.
Love compact design, have more worktop space.
I have not tried to roast or bake yet but will very soo

Perfec
Bought this to replace an older Panasonic combination microwave..we were not disappointed.it is even better than it’s predecessor.easy to programme .efficient to cook ..easy to keep clean .I love it and use every day.
The only thing is it’s deeper, front to back so we had to adjust our wall brackets .but I have no hesitation in recommending

Great produc
Easy ti use and very clever. Quick, intuitive, vast capacity and lots of options. Quiet too
All round excellent machine
Excellent combi, large size, easy to use, powerful, grill, microwave and oven work perfectly. Can’t fault it.
It has met my expectations
Before I bought this Panasonic, I read many reviews of various brands and lots of people were complaining about convection being too poor (low temperature, etc.). Many people wrote “it’s not as good as my old Panasonic”. So I decided to have a look at Panasonic.
I’ve never had a combination MW before so I can’t compare, but so far I’m happy. I’ve been using this NN-CD87KSBPQ for nearly 4 months.
I must admit I don’t use any of the cooking programs and I haven’t tried combination of convection and MW simply because I never needed it. I use either a microwave or convection. Defrosting works fine, microwave no problem. Convection? I use it mostly for pizza, occasionally pasta bake or vegetarian escalopes. Since I don’t eat meat, I can’t tell how good or bad it is in roasting meat. Yes, it seems like it’s not as powerful as normal oven, but it’s fine if I set the time about 2 minutes longer than it’s recommended on pizza package. It can be a bit more tricky if you decide to bake straight from frozen. I don’t do that, I always defrost it first, then bake as normal. With pasta (macaroni cheese, etc.) I microwave it for 90 seconds or so, then bake it a bit. All seems to work fine.
Btw, I have relatively dry skin, but if you have sweaty fingers, you’ll need to clean the surface around buttons regularly, if you don’t like dark fingerprints everywhere. Overall, good product. I would buy it again.

Just as described - working well!
Haven’ had the product in use long enough for review. So far working well for all
requirements. Very pleased.
The nearest I could get to what I wanted.
Sadly, they don’t make my microwave any more and the only one with all the same features, I could find is too big for the space, so this is a ‘make do’ microwave.
The cable is supposed to be a metre long but is shorter than that. So doesn’t reach the socket. So keeping cables short for safety, can result in people using extensions, against advice, defeating the objective. I will have to get someone to move the socket or put the microwave somewhere less convenient. Programming could be clearer, but will get used to it.

Has many useful features.
Not had it long it seems very good, have baked bread in it cooked fish all satisfactory. It is little complex at first but you soon get the hang of it.

Very happy with purchase
This replaced my almost 20 year old Inverter microwave. Only used the Microwave setting, Genius setting and cooked a Chicken so far but pleased with the results. The manual could be made more user friendly but okay once you get used to it. Would recommend.

GOOD MICROWAVE COMBINATION OVEN
Pleased with the performance and size of the microwave combination oven. It replaced my old Panasonic flat bed microwave combination oven of 6 years that went bang. I would have preferred a flat bed replacement but the only ones I could find had a drop down door which is impractical for me. the drawback of a turntable system is that to use the microwave you have to keep taking out the metal tray and stand, find somewhere to put them as being round they are difficult to store. And I could get bigger dishes onto the flat bed than I can on a round turntable. Both systems cook the food the same so it is just a question of design as far as I can see.

The first one arrived damaged, so I sent that back and ordered a second. The second one was in perfect condition and has made my cooking so much quicker and easier. I do love cooking, but for one person it’s boring and I’d rather take the faster route and still get the same results if there’s an option and this microwave is it.

This unit has a very large interior capacity and is quieter than my old microwave. The auto programs are wonderful.
Efficient microwave.
Works well with auto cook and is a lot quieter than my previous one. Very happy with it.
We nearly paid half as much again for another model but this dose everything we want except cook a joint from frozen but I’m still very pleased with it & would definitely recommend

I like the speed of the set the time dial and then start nice and quick as I’ve only had this micro for a few weeks I’m taking my time getting to know all the functions, but so far a good machine.
Easy to use
Great, large capacity microwave. The genius feature is a cinch to operate and auto programs add to that.
Read the instructions. Don’t guess

Good quality produc
Good product very reliable takes a bit of getting used to though with all the functions.
Microwave
Still playing with it. Used normally but trying different methods
This is the updated version of the one I bought about 20 years ago (and was still working). The only reason for getting a new one was because the old one was looking a bit tired. This one had all the same features, looks smart and was a little cheaper than the one I bough all thise years ago. It is also more powerful. I am well pleased.
Reliable and easy to use.
I have had one of these microwaves/combi/ convection ovens for about 25 years now this is my 3rd one. They are great for all types of cooking and if you only have a small main oven they are of great use especially if you have guests over for dinner. I fully recommend paying the extra for all the different ways of cooking. Each time I have had to replace it there have been slight improvements along the way like this one is slightly smaller and less bulky than the one before but still has the same capacity inside.

I bought this to replace a previous Panasonic combination oven I’d had for many years & loved I’m so pleased with this new model & it’s very easy to use, its a higher power with a slightly larger oven but takes up less space as my previous model had a fan at the back. I’m really pleased with this one & would highly recommend good value for money

Bought to replace a panisonic combi unit that finally failed after 14 years.
This unit is slightly larger inside and the rotary button takes you through the combi options very easily
Did think I was getting an all stainless steel exterior like the old unit. This unit has silver painted sides and top

I love it now I’ve gotten used to it beware it takes a while and to start things do get overcooked I got annoyed a few times and cheesed off but the tip is this is 1000 Watts much more than most microwaves so when using combination turn it down a bit or chips and stuff will be rock hard but when you get the hangover of it its brilliant you can do almost everything and its so easy to clean yay

Panasonic do it agai
Excellent unit that does what it says on the tin !
Excellent Microwave.
Slightly larger than our previous one but this allows for larger containers.
The 3 cooking options means this is my ‘go to’ machine rather than my main oven!
Recommend reading the instructions by the microwave as manual looks complicated but it is not.
Extremely pleased with the purchase and price.
I bought this as a replacement for another panasonic microwave that I had for many many years. It was difficult to find a large microwave with the features I wanted. My previous one was very feature rich. I wanted similar features – auto reheat, auto defrost, the 3 combinations that you could use in different combinations. I was a bit off with having to turn a dial to select various things, as my previous one was completely pushing buttons. Turning a dial seemed rather old fashion. However, I quickly got used to it and so far I am very happy with this microwave. It is more powerful than previous one and has all the features I want.

Bought to replace a near identical model that expired with a loud fizzing noise just after its 13th birthday. Dismantled it out of curiosity and it was very solid and well put together inside so hope the new one, which is slightly larger, is just as good.
Unlike the old one it does not have a stainless steel outer case but looks OK.
19 buttons have been replaced by six buttons and a dial. It has lost the ‘set time and go’ facility, you have to set a power level first. There is one extra power level setting, 800 watts when the old one went from 1000 straight down to 600.
It has also lost the ability to set times in ten second increments beyond the ten minute mark but that is of no importance. I frequently pressed three adjacent buttons very quickly to give 11 minutes and ten seconds. It was a lazy technique which worked but the alternative one button plus dial is easy enough especially with the much improved display panel. But slower!
From memory the new one is similarly priced to the 2007 model and is looking to be a superb piece of kit. Very pleased to have spent the extra money for something that gives pleasure rather than something more limited.

Had Panasonic combination convection microwave for years. Bought this very latest 34L model and over the moon with it. Versatile and so easy to use. A superb machine and cheaper now than I paid for similar model 20 years ago
Highly recommended if you I tend to use all or most functions

Great Micro/Oven would recommend.
Love my new micro wave /oven cooks very quickly, taking a little time to sort out all the programs but I’m getting there. Thank you Wendy
An excellent choice!
I love this microwave, a bit like my last one. Fits well well in my kitchen. Very to use.
Easy & Versatile
It is large enough to cook for a family, easy to use and clean.
Could be a bit quiete
I have been looking for a replacement combi-microwave for about a year and found this one stood out.
It was over 300 and I wasn’t sure that was justified, but I couldn’t have been more wrong.
Excellent product; would recommend.

So have been buying, using, failing microwaves for years. So when my last one broke I thought Id do more research and spend a bit more.
I have waited 6 months to write the review to give it a fair trial, well this is definitely the best microwave I have ever had. Dont look anywhere else!

I had the older version and this new one is excellent.
Did some research on this as years ago I was a microwave sales coordinator and demonstrator so know what I am looking for and what I want from a combination oven. This is a brilliant oven and has some really useful set menu settings. My husband got to grips with it very quickly, my only criticism is that unlike my previous oven I could combine at my own choice of levels microwave and convection as I would often choose a low level of microwave with 120 degree convection for example….. however with this model you have only the set settings of which there are several to choose from. I did contact Panasonic to make sure I wasn’t missing something but received only a standard email back giving me the instruction page number which I had already seen! If you are looking for a good multi function over then this is the one, plus it has the option of being built in.
