Sword & Shield—Evolving Skies includes Eevee and all of its Evolutions in the same expansion, and each Evolution of Eevee will appear as a Pokémon V and a Pokémon VMAX. Some Eevee Evolutions will also have Battle Styles, such as Single Strike Flareon VMAX, Rapid Strike Vaporeon VMAX, Rapid Strike Sylveon VMAX, and Single Strike Umbreon VMAX.

A must apparently
I don’t get the whole Pokmon card madness, but apparently this is rad! It has a rare card and a large card for display. I only marked it down due to price as I resent paying money for paper cards, but that’s just me
Makes it so much easier to play
For some who aren’t the best at following the intricate details of card games but LOVE pokemon this has really helped our whole family be able to battle it out and understand how to play. So much so that my son took part in a pokemon card battle at an event we went to as he had learnt the rules from this set.
Great start to Pokémo
Everything you need to start playing in one box. Three decks of cards, rules, counters, tokens and a playing surface. My 7 year old loves it, and the playing surface has everything to help them learn and keep organised. A wonderful game to help reading, reasoning, and planning skills. Luck plays a big part, so the child also learns to be a good winner/loser. Fun for adults and children.
Annoyed that I got 2 of the same, rather than 1 of each.
Loved the boxes, though I was hoping for 1 of each collection box when I ordered 2, since there’s a Leafeon V Star Collection Box & a Glaceon V Star Collection Box, you would think that the customer would want one of each, rather than 2 of the same. If you are looking to get 1 of each, I wouldn’t recommend buying from Amazon, look elsewhere if you want 1 of each box. Regardless, I’m happy with the product. 🙂
Actual game board and 3 decks included!
I have played pokemon for a while and had often found myself thinking it would be so much nicer to play on a proper board rather than the paper fold up mats they supply. This set provides not only that but also comes with 3 pokemon decks, each of these decks would cost the same as what I paid for this on their own. This also comes with excellent instructions which are pitched at both beginner and expert. Santa bought this for my son, when I saw how good it was I bought one for myself.
A good price for the produc
delivery was fast, the product seems untampered with to the best of my knowledge, since i compared it with another bought from a retailer, the price is reasonable, and it came in good enough condition since both suffered from a slight bend at the back of the box from shipping, only thing i could really add, would be to deliver it in a bit more flattering packaging since it seemed a bit overkill and messy, i liked the little note also, to say thank you.
Great value and very simple to teach to young kids.
Product contains 180 cards split into 3 60 card battle decks, along with a playing board, instructions and other minor essentials.
Each deck includes a GX holo card and a couple of rares aswell.
Compared to the 60 card deck boxes and tins around right now, the battle academy is fantastic value and worth purchasing by those who already know how to play, as well as those who don’t.

I bought this for my granddaughters Christmas (requested by her mum) My granddaughters was delighted with her present! I can’t say the same as I feel this is a lot of money for just cards! However my daughter pointed out I did the same for her as a child with chips. I have to concede I did! All in all my granddaughters was delighted and in truth that’s all that matters.

After reading some questionable reviews I decided to open the box before wrapping for Christmas. The contents looks perfect. The 8 card packs are sealed, there are two card coins, dice, amount other things I didn’t want to delve into too much for fear of ruining the newness. But all looks in tact and can’t wait for Christmas morning (and having to learn these new battle styles!)

Great starting game for the learning how to use Pokemon cards. I used to have them when I was a kid, but never knew how to use them. I bought this on a friends recommendation.
For me this ticks a lot of boxes.
I should clarify this. I come from a board gaming background in general (I own between 60-70 board games, which get changed from time to time). It was the game point that interested me most.
The game is a deck building game, but with a few difference. You build your deck before playing, and pit your deck against an opponents to see who’s is better.
That sounds basic, but there is a lot of strategy in how and when to use your cards, so every game is different.
Now, having said about building a deck, I should disclaim here: This box has 3 decks ready built for you. This is really a game to learn the ropes, as well as giving you some starting decks to work with. As far as value goes, it is extremely good value! To build a deck nowadays can cost a lot, depending on the strength of the deck. To get 3 decks here for effectively 5 each is unbelievably good value (The 3 GX cards alone would be worth 2-3 each).
I started with this, and have since bought other cards, which have adapted and grown the strength of the decks I have.
All in all, its a good game. It is really a starter for getting into the Pokemon TCG, and to be honest, I couldn’t really recommend a better place to start. Great product, great value!

Excellent way to get into Pokémon cards
Before I bought this I had one goal, to get an umbreon of any rarity.
In this box I pulled an umbreon v, two other v’s and a bunch of other pretty playable cards so would definitely recommend but the one thing is that the booster packs are all evolving skies so if you’re wanting a diverse pull from a bunch of different sets then maybe try another product but if you’re just wanting a good pull on a set these sorts of boxes are excellent.
The deck sleeves are also really awesome.
Note 25th anniversary packs only have 4 card in each
Bought this for my daughter who has become obsessed with Pokmon. This set was hard to find in stock! Was disappointed that the 25th anniversary packs only had 4 cards but it’s a small collection so presumably that was their rationale. We were u lucky with some relatively poor printing quality on some of the 25th anniversary cards that I have not seen before.
