Am really please with it. Instructions are clear and the controls easy to understand. Cooks quickly and uses far less electricity than my normal electric oven. It toasts, baked and grills well. I baked a cherry cake which was perfect.

Quicker to heat up than conventional oven and great for small items – pies, pizzas, jacket potatoes. Grill good for browning cottage pie topping. Like how you have option of timer or stay on. Hoping it will pay for itself soon on electricity saved.

This is such a lovely little oven. Works well, cooks great and looks good. I am so pleased with this purchase.
It is simple to use, toasts well, grills good and roasts great. Well manufactured. Well done.

Bought this mini oven as “used” but it only had the box that was a bit broken, when I opened It, it was immaculate and honestly the best purchase I made so far. The Russel hobbs brand is also amazing, really easy to use and does what it needs to do. Very very satisfied

I have cooked all sorts of things in this mini oven. Obviously not big enough for large joints of meat but managed a rolled turkey breast for Christmas dinner and cooked the stuffing and pigs in blankets to perfection. Would definitely recommend

Honestly was a bit skeptical. By big oven blew and can’t replace due to pandemic n not wanting to risk being exposed to omicron so bought this.

Cannot fault it. It cooked my food perfectly, if not BETTER than my regular oven, and faster as well.

Be warned, it gives off smoke and a real stink the first 5 mins of its use so PREHEAT for 5-8mins first IMO.

Easy to set up and to use and to clean. And most Importantly it was light enough that my disabled self could pick it up and move it around which was SO important.

Great lil oven. No cons to report so far.

Another smashing item from the hobbs family.

Was very impressed with this oven. We had to cook a medium-sized turkey crown in it on Christmas Day and it performed brilliantly. It was well-cooked throughout and had crispy skin. Have used it to cook jacket potatoes and they were cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend this oven.

I bought this mini oven to reheat meals and jacket potatoes ect as I’m only putting in 1 item in my full electric oven. It also takes a long time to cool down. It does seem to cook most food items faster, but jackets still take an hour or more! They do have a lovely crispy skin. I don’t know why it says to preheat for 10 mins as mostly it doesn’t seem to need it. The crumb tray needs to be cleaned after use or it can set of your smoke alarm. You can’t use paper or plastic in it, tin foil is fine. You are also supposed to unplug it after use. I do like the door dropping down, so much easier to remove dishes. Overall I do like this oven and it is useful. If it’s cheaper to run I don’t know, but it does cool down very fast.

My oven died and I couldn’t get it repaired for months. Still waiting. So took the plunge and got this electric oven. It works very well. It is great if you are just one person though. I wouldn’t recommend it for a family. Downside it can make an alarming sound as it heats up. But TBH It cooks perfectly.

NB you need to wait till it’s heated up before putting stuff in. So that is about 3 mins. You will see the bars glow disappearing. That way you know your food won’t burn before cooking.

I can clean everything except the top which has the top bars. Not gonna touch those. But i try to cover food while baking so it minimises splashes.

    Enjoy!!

I’ve been using this for a few weeks now
It’s a very useful appliance, perfect for cooking for smaller quantities — one or two people
It’s around the size of a microwave and will sit nicely on top of a kitchen worksurface.

Pro’s — quick to heat up (takes around 10 minutes) very accurate cooking times, easy to use, worth buying some heavy duty baking trays as the supplied lightweight one will distort with the heat

Con’s — very lightweight, exterior gets hot (although this is useful for warming plates or keeping food warm) mains lead is very short so appliance will need to be near a mains socket

The oven comes with a built in timer although I find it easier to set the controls to ‘always on’ and use a separate external timer

All in all an excellent product and highly recommended

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis oven cooks quickly and evenly. Ideal for for us two.

Ideally another shelf would be useful for cooking extra foods on trays at the same time.

The oven sides and top do get very hot quickly,I put my plates on the top to warm up.

The underneath of the oven doesn’t get hot enough to affect the work surface in any adverse way.

It’s light and compact. Power lead could be longer but not an issue for me.

Have all but given up on using the conventional gas oven now. No more bending down to check cooking progress of the foods.

    Would recommend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersJust so you know, my cooking is limited as I tend to make the same range of items over and over so i won’t be able to have the same variety that another might have. However, for MY use, this is a very good little oven that does all I need, and possibly a bit more – if you’re interested in exploring some of its functions. I didn’t give it five stars because unlike my previous oven, when in use every part of it becomes very hot, so you might need oven mittens. i read about that in a review but I bought it anyway and I don’t regret it.

I’ve used this for a short time and have found it very useful. The ‘Toast’ feature is pointless if you have a standard toaster; it takes longer too. Follow the instructions and all will be well. The tray which is provided is indeed quite flimsy but this allows the oven to heat up more quickly. It is difficult to clean though so I would recommend covering it with kitchen foil.

It is so useful and versatile and easy to use I would not like to be without it now.

This is a well made and well designed product, that looks as though it will last. It is also quite powerful, unlike some of the obscure supermarket brands, one of which this replaces.
It is quite wide enough at 32cm and also deep enough, so will adequately cope with pizzas.
Because the four heating elements get red hot during the heating up stage, it is essential to let the oven get to temperature and for these elements to cool below their red hot stage (5 minutes) before putting food in to cook, or it will be burnt. But this is no problem.
The thermostat is not that accurate, so a bit of trial and error is needed to get the right temperature setting. However I cook everything at 220C and that works fine.
The casing does get very hot during cooking.
I am very pleased with it. Recommended.
    It is easy to clean.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI wasn’t expecting too much from a mini-oven, but this one exceeded my expectations. It cooks faster than my previous mini-oven, although — because it’s a convection oven, using all four elements — the temperature needs to be set lower than that usually recommended for items being cooked or grilled. However, I’ve found that meals cooked in this oven are more tender and moist than that produced by my old conventional mini-oven, where they tended to be dry, unevenly cooked and not particularly appetizing. It makes nice toast. I haven’t yet used all the features (grill, cook/bake, toast, & keep warm), but I’m impressed with its performance so far. I just need to remember that it’s a convection oven, not a conventional oven, and adjust the cooking times and temperatures accordingly. Well worth considering.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersNice and compact, heats up quite quickly and doesn’t bake the wall behind it too much. The temperatures on the dial are for fun I think, you have to do some tests. I found that because it’s Infrared, set lower than the cooking instructions say on the food or it will burn the top of everything. Also in the instructions it says to ALWAYS let the oven heat up before adding food, and you should definitely do that or the heat up process will scorch your food before it even begins to cook.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGood value for the price I paid. It heats up quickly, though it’s best to get it up to temperature before putting the food in, as being small the heating elements are quite close to what you are are cooking and can burn it. This particularly applies to cooking a loaf of bread which I have found is possible if you heat it up first and cook at a lower temperature than normal, 170c at about 25mins for a 1lb loaf works for me.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI have two of these little ovens the other has an airfry function but they are not that different to be honest. These little ovens are great in a small space or if you just need a big of extra cooking ability in the kitchen.
These sure do not smell nice the first time you use them but that smell soon goes after the first use or so.
The temperature range goes up to 220C on the dial but there’s also a grill setting and toast. These do small pizzas quite well.
Home made pizzas are what I usually cook in this as it heats up super quick after I’ve set the dial to about 180C then turn the dial to 12 minutes and it will ping (a little to loud) to let you know it’s cooked. You can have it on a fixed on setting which is handy if you don’t want to use the timer function.
The trays are very small I’d say just enough space to fit food on for a couple of people. You would certainly have a hard time finding any that size in the shops.
You can also use this in warm setting which is great if your having a party and want to just keep your food warm.
The trays are easy to clean in just some soap and water but the wire mesh is very thin, I can’t see it lasting very long but to be honest it’s been OK so far.
The unit is about the size of our microwave so was quite surprised at how small it is, but it does hold quite a bit of food.
I’d certainly recommend it if you want something quick and easy to use maybe in a student flat a caravan or something. Or like me you want them to keep food warm while socialising, Hopefully we will be able to do that again some time soon!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe already have a fan oven included in our integrated kitchen and have a microwave as well so I was planning on using this as a backup oven when travelling but when I saw the listing, I was really intrigued by the claims that it is 2.5 times faster than conventional ovens and wanted to try it out.

When this came, me and my wife decided to store our microwave in the garage and try using this instead. Russell Hobbs is a well known brand so I was expecting quite a lot but maybe that is where I made a mistake. It does support lots of different types of dishes and cooking but falls short of a full fledged oven in some aspects.

It was really easy to setup as its just a few parts which need to be assembled before you can use it. My wife insisted that we wash all the trays and the grill before we start using this. So that took a few hours to wash in the dishwasher but it was finally all ready to use.

Since installing it, we have used it for almost all the things it can be used for. We have baked pizzas, cakes, cookies and even used it for reheating the food and it did the job in most cases. We did notice that in some cases it does not perform as well as a proper oven. We felt that the pizzas and the cakes were not cooked all around and it looked like some parts were not evenly cooked. Sometimes, it took a couple of attempts to get the timing right.

It does take a bit less time but compared to a fan oven, I didn’t see a lot of difference. The instructions which came with it does show the timings for different dishes but I found that most of the time the dishes took a bit longer than the time mentioned.

Also, compared to our microwave, this is a quite small in size. Our microwave is 30L so this is more suitable for travel or in a caravan. We haven’t been able to cook a take away style frozen pizza in this one as it is too large for it.

    Pros
    Compact and powerful
    Reduces cooking time
    Lots of uses
Looks quite good on the counter

    Cons
Does not cook evey for some of the dishes like pizza and cakes
Cooking quality not comparable to a microwave.

Overall, I think it is a solid electric oven which would be perfect for a car book during travelling but for day to day use, it falls short. 4 stars

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersRussell Hobbs makes amazing kitchen appliances and I never had an issue with one of their products. This is no exception and I can’t give it enough praise.

Apparently it’s ‘2.5x faster than a conventional oven’ but it takes the same time to cook in this as it does my large electric oven. The perk however is this saves energy and only uses 1500W so this is my first choice when it comes to cooking frozen meals. The measurements are 35.8 x 45.1 x 30.5cm so it’s large for a mini oven. It’s big enough for my dinner so I’m sure it could cook for two people if you add another rack- however it only came with one so I’m wondering whether you’re allowed to add another without it affecting how evenly the food is cooked?

It comes with a 2 year manufacturers guarantee and an extra year if you register it online but to be fair I haven’t had any of my appliances from Russel Hobbs break in the past. The first few times I used this it smelt like burning electricals so I think it’s because it was new? I assume that’s normal since nothing bad happened but I don’t know.

It slides easily on my counters without scratching the surface because the oven rests on four plastic feet. The plastic is obviously resistant to heat and it’s smooth which is why it’s so easy to move- this makes it easier to clean underneath and pull out of the corner when I’m using it (since it sits underneath a floating cabinet). The timer has a subtle tick and it’s fine when it’s only for 10-15 minutes but I can’t imagine being near it for any longer. The mini oven also makes a loud noise when it finishes which helps me hear it from the other room but it’s obnoxiously loud if I’m near it.

It starts heating up immediately but like I said, for whatever reason it takes the same amount of time to cook as it does in my electric oven. The sides get untouchable when it’s on but there’s warning signs and it can still be moved by the feet. I like how it’s stainless steel since it doesn’t clash with anything in my kitchen however it gathers handprints and smudges like there’s no tomorrow. There’s four different settings: grill, bake, toast, and an option to keep food warm. I’ve only cooked premade meals like potato wedges, soy burgers, and spring rolls so I can’t comment on homemade food like bread or pizza but it’s perfect for my requirements and I haven’t used my oven since.

Makes a loud ticking noise and doesn't cook any faster than my electric ove

Another great kitchen appliance from Russell Hobbs. I use this Mini Oven almost every day, it’s so versatile for cooking/ baking/ toasting needs. It is actually not that mini at all, approximately 32 cm x 19 cm height so it’s required a lot of space on the countertop. Perfect for making toast, bake pizza and due to the highest temperature can be set is 200C it’s also suitable to bake bread or even muffin Has 4 different settings: grill, bake, toast and keep warm. Easy to use. For people that don’t like digitals. There is only 3 turning buttons at the front of the oven one to set the temperature, one for the timer and one to select the baking method. It heats quickly and cools off quickly after using. Comes with a rack and a bake pan. I can easily for a 12-inch pizza in it, a whole chicken, or up to 5-7 toast (it really depends on de size of the bread slice), even has a crumb tray underneath. Not just very functional but also economical too. I prefer to use this instead of My under counter electric oven if I only cook/bake/reheat for one or two person but if you looking for something to use for a bigger family than this is not for you. It’s a beautiful looking unit, with stainless steel finish, easy to clean and maintain. Overall, I’m really happy with it, at the time of writing this review the price was 79.99 which is very friendly in this category, I have been able to use for everything I’ve wanted to cook so I can’t complain at all.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersFirst thing I noticed when I took it out of the box was that the oven looked narrower than I thought it would be and I wondered how I was going to fit my trays in. It has incredibly cushioned feet, allowing for a soft lowering onto kitchen sides and easy movement into position. My only concern is that there’s no grip if there’s any pull forward on it, allowing the oven to slide around. There is a decent resistance when pushing it backwards though. Honestly, the base of the oven seems quite flimsy and can be pushed back and forth in a wobbly type way. I can imagine that this would dent quite easily if being moved about and caught on something.

When first using it, there is a bit of a smell, but as it’s a new item, this should clear after a while. I’m surprised there’s not a light inside the oven itself. It’s quite dark in there and I found it hard to see my brownies that were further towards the back. A light would definitely be helpful. Unfortunately, because there wasn’t a light inside, I couldn’t see my brownies were burning and to my disappointment, came out darker than I would like. I had turned the temperature down to the fan oven setting when baking my brownies and this was still too high. I’m aware the oven will cook quicker than a conventional oven, but turn it down lower than what you would set for a fan oven.

What I’m not keen on is having to remember all the rack positions depending on whether I’m grilling, baking or toasting. Some visual clues would be useful. As for grilling, I tested it using bacon and although the tray looked too small, it turned out to be a lovely size for two good pieces of bacon. The bacon turned out beautifully, with the edges curling and crisping to taste like soft crackling. I’m also really pleased with the toasting function. Keep an eye on your toast, it took seconds for mine to change colour. It toasted evenly both sides and it felt like every crumb was toasted and that was gluten-free bread! Overall, it’s a good oven. I just need to adjust my timings for baking, which will come with experience and the grilling and toasting options are great. In fact, it works better than my toaster.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis little oven is pretty useful if you need a bit extra oven capacity in your kitchen (e.g you host parties a lot of have a big family). It’s a good size and can fit most things in you’d want to put in an oven, such as a pizza, roast chicken etc. You’ll only get one baking tray in but as an additional oven it’s great. It works really well as a toaster, perhaps even better than normal toasters, and the warming function is brilliant if you’re using the main oven to finish roasting something and need to keep something hot. It makes lots of claims about saving huge amounts of energy and time but only gives examples of pizzas, so 60% time/energy saving only really equates to a few minutes. So if you just want to use this for pizza/toast then it may we’ll save you time/money but for larger things I can’t see it being that different – I wouldn’t say I’d noticed a huge difference in cooking times for things. It is faster to pre-heat, though that’s to be expected given the small size compared to a conventional oven. It’s quite a nice looking but of kit for a modern kitchen, and is very easy to use. The dials are clearly labelled and easy to figure out. The timer is a bit annoying, with a constant ticking noise but most ovens like this have them unfortunately. If you have a small kitchen then this kind of oven may not be great as you do lose a fair chunk of your work surface but for larger kitchens that shouldn’t be a problem.

All round it’s a good bit of kit if you have the need for it and the space.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis counter-top over looks like a throwback to the 1980’s – stainless steel, including INSIDE (yes, its a beggar to clean), and manual knobs. Not a digital display to be found. Retro, and not in a trendy way, but, well, bloody effective.

It heats up in a jiffy, cooks evenly and makes much nicer food to eat than your microwave does. It grills too.

You’ll need a microwave too of course – this mini-oven is instead of a full sized oven, giving you an extra cupboard, at the cost of some counter space.

Although the interior isn’t very cleaning-friendly, the positive aspect is that you can tip it over to clean it at your own level, rather than grovelling around on your knees as you do with a conventional over.

Is this better than a standard oven? No. But if space is really tight, or you want something totally portable, it is worth serious consideration.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI’m so impressed with this little oven, it came at the perfect time as my oven broke just before lockdown and as we’re shielding i’ve not been able to get anyone to replace it so this is going to get a lot of use!

This is a fairly lightweight and amazing value oven, it can bake, grill, cook and particularly boats about its bread toasting capabilites!

This oven heats up at an astonishing speed, quicker than a regular oven, it was on for just a couple of minutes and was already hot. The dials are easy to read, you set it to any of the funtions or if you’re using it as a regular oven you simply set it to the temperature you need.

The timer dial you can set to up to 60 minutes or if you need longer you turn to the left to keep it on without the timer. The bottom dial is purely for toast! Whether you want light or dark toast you can set your desired toast colour and use the oven as a toaster too and it even has a crumb tray!

Being very small, generally you’d only be able to cook one thing, or one tray of chips or nuggets etc in there, although we experimented with 2 pizzas in there, it fitted both the whole pizzas just fine, although the top pizza cooked faster so we had to manually rotate, but they cooked in around 25 minutes. The grill is great for a tasty cheese on toast, this one doesn’t include an air-fryer like the other model so read up and check what you need first.

Ive tested this for cake baking and it did a great job, I used a large cake tin on 180 and it took around 40 mins to bake fully.

The only real downside of this oven is the very short cable, we had to move things around on our countertop to put this directly under a socket, whereas we wanted it a little further away and didn’t want the addition of an extension lead.

So impressed and amazed at the capabilities of this tiny oven. It even comes with a wire rack tray to make 2 shelves and you need to make sure the bottom tray always covers up the elements to prevent food falling in there.

Highly recommended, perfect for smaller kitchens, caravans, sheds or even your own kitchen if like us, your oven has broken!! Absolutely love this, but the cable could be longer!!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersWe’ve always had a little Lidl oven (try saying that quickly) which cost about 40 yonks ago. Brilliant for jacket potatoes, pizza, the overspill at Christmas when your main oven is just too crammed, but we didn’t use it for much else. This was, we naively thought, a direct replacement, something that can sit in the corner of the kitchen for occasional use or when we don’t want to bother putting the (big) main oven on for something little.
But blimey, what a revelation- this thing is a little beauty, sooo much more powerful than our old one, so can reach very high temperatures – it did Yorkshire puddings in 3 minutes flat. It heats up incredibly quickly (the red indicator light at the top goes off when temperature is reached) and of course, you can use it as a grill or a toaster. Haven’t bothered with the latter, as we have a four slice toaster which is quicker and easier, but the grill is pretty awesome and hooray, cooks very evenly.
It’s even got a crumb tray underneath to slide out if there are any spills or, indeed, crumbs…
I’ve noticed one of my fellow reviewers found it a bit flimsy – strangely, I didn’t at all, to me the build quality is very good indeed. The oven tray provided is a bit tinny, but hey, we rarely use that as Pyrex or non stick pans fit in nicely. And of course, we just bung pizza in straight so the underside gets cooked, but go with your preference.
I think the current price is around the 90 mark – pitched just right if you ask me, others are more expensive but may be unknown brands (if you register online you get three years warranty with this) and the cheaper ones, like ours, are far less powerful so more limited in use. Definitely 5 shiny gold stars from me.

Really nice small oven. Heats up to 180c in about 5 mins and you’re good to go. Easy to use. Cooking time isn’t any less (in my opinion), but then you haven’t had to wait for it to heat up. Nice as an alternative to heating your main oven up, or even as an extra oven when you have lots to cook at once (Christmas maybe?). Reasonably easy to clean. It’s quite light, not sure if that’s a good or bad thing, but makes it easy to move around if you don’t have the counter space to leave it out all the time. Also great to take camping if you have a power converter to run it.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis oven is very high output that lives up to the name ‘express’. I put my pastry on the top shelf like I normally do with a fan assisted oven it quickly burnt the top. Now I know pastry should be in the middle for this oven, so there is some adjustment there.

The door and buttons all feels quite flimsy and the weight of the oven is quite lightweight. It just does not feel like top quality ovens but it does the job quite well therefore I do recommend this oven!

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersI must admit that I have a small oven like this already but it’s far superior for several reasons.
I use my old portable oven for camping as its 1200 Watts and ok for electric hook up. It’s only 9 litres and this is 20 so it’s already better before I turn it on. This is also ok for electric hook up as long as its the high rating and not the low one. I took my old oven to the Netherlands for a stay in a static caravan park last year and we used it every day. Although this oven is bigger it’s still portable enough to go in the car.
With my old oven, I had to cut pizza in half and bake each half separately. This one has no such problem as its big enough to bake a 12 inch pizza whole.
These ovens are light. They’re meant to be light and I think the build quality is excellent. Comparing this oven with a big kitchen oven is impossible but my son says the controls are better quality than our home oven. They’re small and light for flats, caravans, tents, boats etc. I wouldn’t ask someone to carry a heavy oven to the car anyway.
This oven also has better features than mine. It’s got a keep warm function, bake and grill and toast. It says it’s convection oven on the box and cooks four times faster than normal ovens. There’s no mention of this in the instructions so I’m not sure about that. It just says to check on the food sooner than normal ovens. I’m putting baked potatoes on later so I’ll see how long they take and update this.
It comes with an oven shelf and an oven tray. There’s also a crumb catcher at the bottom that just pulls out for easy emptying. The door has a bar at the top for opening. The vents are on the sides and the top.
We had to postpone our camping until next year so in the meantime I’m going to use it in the kitchen as it’s cheaper on electric.
The timer ticks but they all tick on ovens like this. The temperature is variable.
    It’s great for cakes,toast,pizza,pasta bake,chickens etc.
I’m very happy with this oven. It looks shiny and modern with a nice design and lots of features. I’d recommend it even if you just need it as a spare oven as it’s a great little thing to have.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersWhtehr your kitchen is large or small you need this mini oven it’s truly fantastic.
Ideal if you live in a small bedsit/flat or have a small kitchen it really is space saving.
It’s even great if you have a large kitchen and a large oven.
I could write pages about this cooker it truly is wonderful.
It’s energy saving, I ahve a smart meter so I have been able to confirm this fact as stated in the product description.
It’s a oven and grill in 1, it’s defiently quicker for smaller items than a conventional oven, ideal for making cakes in especially with children as they can see the cakes rise and when they are cooked to perfection, there is a timer on the cooker.
The cooker is ideal when teaching children how to use cookers, obviously safety precautions must be adhered to ie adult supervision and oven gloves but it lets children eg used to a cooker on a smaller scale.
You know Russell Hobbs is a well known brand you can trust in and they don’t disapoint with this model.
Amazing value for money for such a fantastic essential piece of kitchen equipme

    Essential item for any kitche

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFirst of all, this isn’t as mini as I’d thought it would be, it is actually fairly large, which is ideal if you need the additional cooking facilities but not so good if you have little worktop space! I’m having to store mine in my hall cupboard when it is not in use.
It cooks just as good as my main oven, cooked evenly, but wouldn’t say it is any faster. Ideal for roasts, baking, toasting etc. The timer is a useful function and if you lived on your own this would probably serve well as your main oven.
I’ll find it most handy at Christmas or when having folk over for dinner.
Would recommend, but check out the size of your kitchen first!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI can see this being of use for student digs, small flats, holiday homes and the like where you may need something to cook hot food but don’t want to go to the expense of a full oven, as well as a temporary means of cooking whilst your kitchen is being refurbished, perhaps or to take up some of the strain at larger catering events such as parties or family gatherings at Christmas. I say temporary as the build quality is not great and it weighs virtually nothing; even when still boxed and unwieldy as a result, it wasn’t a struggle to pick this up and move it around, so you could easily take it to another location to heat food.

The oven is smaller than most microwaves and weighs considerably less, so it shouldn’t be a problem getting it to fit in even a small kitchen. The lightweight nature of the item is of concern and there is a warning not to use the door as a shelf to rest food on as the whole thing could tip over – there is little weight to create ballast and you will need to be careful handling this, particularly when hot.

Due to its small size, it doesn’t take long to heat up and you can toast, grill and bake, so it is very versatile. There is a small instruction manual but no guidance about timings for cooking anything other than to warn things cook faster and therefore to check progress sooner than you would expect.

It is a small oven, about the size of a microwave with the potential to cook a lot of dishes. Build quality is not fantastic, but it works well as long as you are careful and heed the warnings.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersImmediately I knew this oven would save on my electric as its smaller than my conventional oven but I wasn’t sure how good at cooking it would be compared to my oven. Its a decent sized oven, the stainless steel matches my other appliances in the kitchen so I was okay with that.

It does take up some space so if your strapped for room then this may not be a good idea to have as its not something you can put away once you have finished with it.

I did try a frozen pizza in this as I was peckish anyway, the oven heated up quickly to 180 degrees, quicker than my conventional oven, and I cooked it for the usual 14 minutes. It didn’t cook any quicker but the result was a great cooked pizza. I did hear the thermostat clicking on and off while it was cooking though I would say it didn’t stay on for long as compared to my normal oven as the area inside this oven is smaller.

I’ve since done roast potatoes, sausages, bacon and a pie. They’ve all cooked perfectly and the timer is an added bonus whereas my conventional oven has no timer, I have to keep looking at a clock! I particularly like the fact that it sits on the kitchen work surface making it easy to see inside and clean. Talking of cleaning its a breeze as its smaller and easy to reach into.

I like the compact size of the oven as I can easily do a good meal for 2 in no time. Even when I’m cooking for family visitors I now have the option to use this oven in addition to my main oven as that normally gets filled up.

Highly recommended (I didn’t try toast in it as I prefer the toaster)!

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersMy main oven stopped working a couple of years ago and since I refuse to waste any money on a cooker that doesn’t have a programmable timer I’ve had to do without and either use my top oven or my chicken rotisserie instead. My top oven isn’t that great, things are either burnt or not cooked evenly so when I was offered this to test I was delighted to give it a go. This cooks things more evenly than my old top oven in the same time, I’m not sure why they are saying it cooks faster, it didn’t on my meatloaf. I won’t use it again for a few days until we have roast chicken so I’ll see if that cooks any quicker. I’m happy for it to take the same amount of time because it is on the countertop it is higher up so I don’t have to bend down to get my food out with my bad back and it certainly didn’t take any longer to cook the meatloaf, so it’s all good to me. It looks very industrial and sturdy and fits well with our dcor but you will know if that is the kind of style you want in your kitchen. I think it’s stylish and works well, very happy with it.

Golden Review Award: 30 From Our UsersSo good! The only thing that bothers me (for now) is the constant ticking when the timer is on, and the very loud BING! When it comes to 0. Apart from that… pizza done very nicely, and did some cooking and 3 days old bread warming up… so nice! In just a few minutes old bread was warm and crispy as if it was just baked!

    Love it 🥰
