About your Russell Hobbs microwaveMicrowave ovens do not generate any heat themselves but instead cause water molecules in food to vibrate. This vibration produces heat that cooks the food. This is why your food will come out of the microwave piping hot, when your utensils inside the microwave stay much cooler. Microwaves cannot go through metal, so the inside of the appliance is lined with metal. The door is lined with a fine metal mesh which stops microwaves getting through. Cleaning: Avoid using scouring pads, steel wool or other abrasives. Simple & easy to use, like the plus 30 second quick touch, looks good too.
Had one like this before so purchased this one again. I like the ease of use and the look of this model (not ultra modern).
Needed an 800watt microwave. They delivered a silver model but who cares, it does what you need it to so thumbs up from me.
If anything, you have to set the power options before each time you use it though, which just adds extra steps unnecessarily, in my opinion. I get some meals need to be cooked on half power, but still.
Fast delivery and its lovely! Didn’t measure it so it’s smaller then my old one but it goes nice in my kitchen. Thankyou

I bought this for an elderly neighbour who uses his microwave to cook his predelivered food. It broke on Saturday and I ordered on Saturday afternoon. It was here on Sunday just after lunch. Great service and product.
I don’t know much about microwaves so I purchased this one based on value, aesthetics, and the digital display/buttons. Very impressed. It is smaller than I expected, still it fits a microwave meal, a bowl and a dinner place (seperately of course!). And it is powerful enough to heat food quickly.

Bought this to colour coordinate my kitchen, good quality microwave easy touch screen dials and looks great. I have used this for some months now and have been very satisfied with it performance. Can recommend with ease.
Looks nice and sleek, is easy to clean and is powerful enough for every day uses.
cooks everything well and doesn’t really get any hotspots, it is great for the sistema microwave steamers etc. looks nice not to in your face and doesn’t take up much room. doesn’t seem to have a light in the microwave, but that may just be a fault on mine. I’m not really worried though as cooks great and doesn’t seem to have any other issues.
Not only it looks good it is a great small microwave if you require a basic type of microwave. I would have given a 5 star overall rating if only the wheeled ring that the glass plate balances on stayed put. I spend more time trying to get this thing to balance correctly in the grove provided which is so shallow that when you do then put a plate or bowl on top of the glass plate it invariably moves out of balance which is just a pain! For some reason with my very old Sharp microwave it remained in the grove. Whether it was because the grove was deeper or the wheels that help to turn the glass plate was also larger – I don’t know. But, this is the reason I didn’t give it the full 5 star overall rating.
The front of the door is mirrored so finger marks show up if touched!!

Really good microwave, simple and great value….. unfortunately arrived with damaged case from Amazon and too much hassle to exchange, definitely buy this item but get it from Argos or Currys , similar price and no hassle or damage
I really like the look of the microwave. I think the mirror finish on the front is great and looks really nice. The only issue is fingerprints show up easily if you touch it. Overall a brilliant microwave. Was the cheapest one we could see but looked 100x better than the more expensive ones. Very easy to use, and does everything as expected.

Works fine a year on, no issues. Mirrored front is a pain to keep streak free though!
It is used daily but not necessarily for heating up food, we use it to sterilise our baby bottles.
I was worried it would look cheap but it looks stylish and I am vey happy with our purchase.
The mirror front is a great addition.
I would recommend reading up on the settings before hand to see what settings might be best for your needs as I put the baby bottles in on the auto mode when it first arrived and the setting was to hot and the bottom of the bottle melted!

Microwave stopped heating up and only makes loud noise now. The warranty just ended a month ago so I am the lucky one. 60 quid for 13 months of careful use is what you can expect. I will be avoiding Russell Hobbs from now on.
EDIT: Russell Hobbs apparently has a great customer service, they offered to look into my issue. so fingers crossed I might have my problem fixed after all.

Purchased for my Grandsons batchelor pad. Finds it very use full for cooking quick meals and reheating pre prepared meals as he has a very busy schedule.
Good microwave once I had it working I found the instructions a lot more confusing than other makes I have bought.

This is a Greta microwave! Does the job as expected and looks fab too! Love the dark shaded mirror reflection on the door too, nice modern touch and the square shape fits well with the rest of my kitchen.

I am quite happy with the microwave. It looks good, is easy to use and providing you open and close the door with your hand on top of the door, you don’t need to be continually wiping finger marks off the mirror door. (OK you may not be so fussy!).
fits well with my red kitchen, mirror effect on the front when off, can see through when on. Don’t need tonnes of features, but it has more than enough. It’s just a microwave. Oh it is red ALL AROUND, some are just a red front bit and I wanted a completely red one, so get this one if that’s important to you too
Looks nice slightly smaller than my previous one noticed the height difference when i put a tall cup in it. Only problem i have is that at times difficult to open the door.

Initial impressions of this microwave are excellent – it’s certainly very stylish and looks great in the kitchen. The sleek,reflective front door is a great contrast to the bright red of the casing.
It’s also doing a good job heating the food; so far I’ve not noticed any issues and food is always piping hot throughout.
My one minor gripe is that the buttons are not particularly useful; for example to simply set the timer requires turning the knob to the left which seems quite counter-intuitive to me. You have to turn it left and the timer will stand at 95:00 (i.e 95 minutes of cooking time) before you then turn to the right as with any other microwave to take it back ‘up’ to 0:00 and start adding cooking time in the normal way. If you begin by turning to the right it takes you straight into the weight settings which I barely use most of the time.
So far no issues with condensation and I’ve heated open liquids in there.
Noise level is quite low; I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the microwave is when rotating. It beeps in the standard way when the timer hits zero as with any other microwave.
I’ll be curious to see whether it stands the test of time, but for now at least everything is working perfectly.

The first one we received over heated and cut out, Amazon replaced it with not too much hassle. The replacement works great, compact little microwave which looks good and seems to work well. Keeping the front finger print free is my new hobby!

Very pleased with this microwave, attractive, compact, easy to use. Perfect for a small kitchen, sits on top of my fridge freezer out of the way leaving more room on the worktop.

Delivery was very prompt.It is smaller than our last one which gives us more room an the work surface and with the mirror effect on the door it looks very attractive.
Very good simple to use, the only thing is the height of the door above the table top. It does not allow you to open the door if anything is in front ok the oven.
