Excellent little microwave
I don’t know much about microwaves so I purchased this one based on value, aesthetics, and the digital display/buttons. Very impressed. It is smaller than I expected, still it fits a microwave meal, a bowl and a dinner place (seperately of course!). And it is powerful enough to heat food quickly.

Bought this to colour coordinate my kitchen, good quality microwave easy touch screen dials and looks great. I have used this for some months now and have been very satisfied with it performance. Can recommend with ease.

cooks everything well and doesn’t really get any hotspots, it is great for the sistema microwave steamers etc. looks nice not to in your face and doesn’t take up much room. doesn’t seem to have a light in the microwave, but that may just be a fault on mine. I’m not really worried though as cooks great and doesn’t seem to have any other issues.
Great value small microwave & very easy to use!
Not only it looks good it is a great small microwave if you require a basic type of microwave. I would have given a 5 star overall rating if only the wheeled ring that the glass plate balances on stayed put. I spend more time trying to get this thing to balance correctly in the grove provided which is so shallow that when you do then put a plate or bowl on top of the glass plate it invariably moves out of balance which is just a pain! For some reason with my very old Sharp microwave it remained in the grove. Whether it was because the grove was deeper or the wheels that help to turn the glass plate was also larger – I don’t know. But, this is the reason I didn’t give it the full 5 star overall rating.

Very stylish, easy to use microwave
I really like the look of the microwave. I think the mirror finish on the front is great and looks really nice. The only issue is fingerprints show up easily if you touch it. Overall a brilliant microwave. Was the cheapest one we could see but looked 100x better than the more expensive ones. Very easy to use, and does everything as expected.

I have had this microwave for nearly a year now and it does what I need it to.
It is used daily but not necessarily for heating up food, we use it to sterilise our baby bottles.
I was worried it would look cheap but it looks stylish and I am vey happy with our purchase.
The mirror front is a great addition.
I would recommend reading up on the settings before hand to see what settings might be best for your needs as I put the baby bottles in on the auto mode when it first arrived and the setting was to hot and the bottom of the bottle melted!

This is a fab microwave, the design is chic, controls are really easy to use and I like that it has a large start button, as this is the button used most frequently. Only downside is that it’s very small. Yes its 20litres and just about fits our normal sized dinner plates, but only just. In future I would buy 25litre minimum but otherwise it’s a great purchase. One more thing- it gives 5 beeps when programme is finished which is slightly irritating but the beeps aren’t as loud as my previous Morphy Richards Microwave. Overall I’m very happy with this microwave.

Microwave stopped heating up and only makes loud noise now. The warranty just ended a month ago so I am the lucky one. 60 quid for 13 months of careful use is what you can expect. I will be avoiding Russell Hobbs from now on.
EDIT: Russell Hobbs apparently has a great customer service, they offered to look into my issue. so fingers crossed I might have my problem fixed after all.

I am quite happy with the microwave. It looks good, is easy to use and providing you open and close the door with your hand on top of the door, you don’t need to be continually wiping finger marks off the mirror door. (OK you may not be so fussy!).

Oh it is red ALL AROUND, some are just a red front bit and I wanted a completely red one, so get this one if that’s important to you too
Looks nice
Looks nice slightly smaller than my previous one noticed the height difference when i put a tall cup in it. Only problem i have is that at times difficult to open the door.
Looks amazing, my old red Russell Hobbs microwave gave up so I purchased the same one again in the white but the new version has an open button for the door ! Absolutely great !

Initial impressions of this microwave are excellent – it’s certainly very stylish and looks great in the kitchen. The sleek,reflective front door is a great contrast to the bright red of the casing.
It’s also doing a good job heating the food; so far I’ve not noticed any issues and food is always piping hot throughout.
My one minor gripe is that the buttons are not particularly useful; for example to simply set the timer requires turning the knob to the left which seems quite counter-intuitive to me. You have to turn it left and the timer will stand at 95:00 (i.e 95 minutes of cooking time) before you then turn to the right as with any other microwave to take it back ‘up’ to 0:00 and start adding cooking time in the normal way. If you begin by turning to the right it takes you straight into the weight settings which I barely use most of the time.
So far no issues with condensation and I’ve heated open liquids in there.
Noise level is quite low; I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the microwave is when rotating. It beeps in the standard way when the timer hits zero as with any other microwave.
I’ll be curious to see whether it stands the test of time, but for now at least everything is working perfectly.

The first one we received over heated and cut out, Amazon replaced it with not too much hassle. The replacement works great, compact little microwave which looks good and seems to work well. Keeping the front finger print free is my new hobby!

This microwave is everything that I was looking for – but whenever I purchase a Russell Hobbs product I am not disappointed! I was looking for a white, powerful Russell Hobbs microwave with a digital display which looked classy and that’s what I found. The door is mirrored so not good if children or people with mucky hands are using it without care. However, there is no reason to touch the door as there is a non mirrored panel beneath the door to close it and a button to open it.
Easy enough to use, I just need to spend more time reading the instructions because even though I have the basics worked out, I’m sure there’s a lot more to learn!

Having always owned a red mechanical (simple turn knob to time required) microwave, after it died I had to research another red one- not so many available! I trawled review sites and this one had the best reviews of those in the price range (other newer mechanical models being slated!). It was easy to set up and looks splendid in my kitchen, the black glass in the door very stylish. You have to set the time and have it showing to work the timer on the machine, yet another electrical appliance draining electric albeit a very small amount, and another thing requiring resetting twice a year, and the automatic weight facility confused me initially as I tend mainly to re-heat previously cooked foods, like lasagne, in the pottery bowls they were oven cooked in taken from the freezer rather than plastic microwavable dishes, but it seems to be heating the food fine, and there is a 30 sec ‘on’ button you can keep pressing for heavier plates of food. I’m a vegetarian so haven’t accessed the section in the handbook for defrosting or cooking meat so can’t comment on that aspect. I have to put my glasses on to read the buttons, as with most electrical appliances, but I’m sure when I become familiar with the controls I won’t have to look so closely. The item arrived really speedily and was very well packaged. Hopefully it will last.

Fine also l little confusing at first but since no problem very happy.
Had it a few weeks now, it’s not so big as my old Smart but still holds a sizeable plate. Once i got used to the control system i found it does exactly what it says on the box! I mainly use it for reheating and am very pleased with it to date. yes it does show fingure marks on the glass door but they are easy to remove with a soft cloth, nice looking machine. Will it last as long as my old machine…..?

Good microwave, does the job and looks good. It is a nightmare to clean! The mirrored glass on the outside I mean, forever trying to get rid of finger prints and marks people with ocd might prefer a more low maintenance microwave as it does drive me crazy 😀

Very good simple to use, the only thing is the height of the door above the table top. It does not allow you to open the door if anything is in front ok the oven.

Had a previous microwave over 15 years, when it suddenly died we needed one ASAP. After looking on Amazon for a replacement I came across this one, the reviews were really helpful in my decision making. It arrived a couple days after order and I couldn’t be happier with my choice, it looks sleek and stylish. I would highly recommend.
Purchased this microwave after I had purchased a different make from Amazon which had overheated. Have been very pleased with it, very easy to use. Small and compact and fits my worktop nicely. If there is one criticism I would have like a handle on the door. Although you push the knob to open it I still tend to touch the door as it opens and as this is mirrored it marks easily but apart from this a lovely microwave.
I know this is only a microwave, but I love it. It’s so easy to use. I haven’t had it long (only a couple of weeks) so can’t say if it’s going to last a while, but if it gives up the ghost I will update my review accordingly. But so far so good.
