Largest battery charged really quickly and altogether the extendable trimmer, battery and charger were excellent value
These are just to expensive my 20 but all companies charge the same. Great longevity
Bought the battery for use with a Ryobi strimmer but since used with a newly purchased pole hedge trimmer. Excellent performance, completed both sides and top of a hedge 10m long by 3m high and the battery didn’t run out, which I thought it would.
Although I wouldn’t say these batteries cheap they are worth the extra run time using the 18+ tool range. This is especially so when using the brushless chainsaw tool which has a particularly heavy current drain. It’s worth watching the Amazon page as from time to time they are reduced in price quite considerably. These offers don’t last for long so you have to act immediately. I’ve saved over 12 each on the normal price at least a couple of times in the past.

Very early to say whether it’s a good battery, but one month in, it’s going fine. Main reason for purchase was the flexibility between other appliances
These batteries are to replace 2 x 1.4Ah batteries that I have been using for 10 years (DIY use only).
The 2 x 2.0Ah batteries that I purchased are slightly smaller, lighter and more powerful than the ones they replaced.
Charged them up OK when they arrived and all working fine, I hope they last as long as the old ones

For some tasks a smaller battery makes for easier handling, I bought this to work with the trim router.

A great battery for the Ryobi one tools. I bought this to use on my Ryobi 1/2″ impact gun and it really transformed the tool. The included 2Ah batteries worked fine but I felt the tool was struggling a bit when trying to open the tighter nuts. Adding the 5Ah brings the tool into a different level, not only does it have a lot more power but it lasts a good deal longer too.
Lasts a long time and gives very good power to each of my tools.

Powerful battery, you can feel the extra strength it provides on any of the Ryobl products. Probably best on the heavy duty products as feels clunky and heavy on products such as the lower end sanders. Overall excellent.
My son loves Ryobi one + products and this is an excellent battery from their range. Charges really well and lasts usually til the jobs done
Went for this rather than the largest 5.0ah battery as the cost was a bit much on that one.
It took aaaaaages to charge, but lasts a long time – this thing is an absolute UNIT.
Considerably larger and heavier than the standard batteries included with most ryobi tools, so take that into account.

Quite chunky (as one would expect) but a great addition to my other batteries. This is ideal for the hungrier Ryobi tools and performs really well – powerful and long lasting.

Bought this battery for my new strimmer, although it takes hours to charge on my old charger, what came with my 1.2ah battery it lasts bloody ages, just built my work bench in the garage and then strimmed the 60ft garden and still had enough juice to run my grinder in the service va
Gave my drill a new lease of life, before getting this it would struggle to drive screws into hard wood and drill concrete, not any more, it now works like a dream

Don’t be tempted to buy a cheaper battery, I did and it died after several months of light use and then bought this.

I purchased two of these as I have several Ryobi products. Mainly used in my mower, these have been a major upgrade over the smaller batteries. Would highly recommend.

I have used a fully charged battery on several devices and I am still getting a full battery condition light. Well worth the money and I use the standard charger not the fast one.
Suprisingly the same physical size as the smaller 1.3Ah batteries – I was looking for a physically “fatter” unit for the vacuum cleaner so it will sit flat on a surface rather than rock about on it’s curved lower surface – a thicker battery would do this. Absolutely no info on web site (Amazon or Ryobi) to give battery dimensions

Brilliant battery. Team it up with the 5Amp fast charger and you’ll go all day with one top up charge over lunch. So much more power to the tools, makes them seem like different tools with this battery attached.
Been using this for a month and not needed to charge it yet!
Can’t complain with the run time of this battery as I haven’t timed in but I can easily cut the grass, trim the grass edges and then cut the trees using the pole hedge trimmer, and it only drops a bar which is fantastic.
The only downside is that it is quite expensive but for me it’s definitely worth the extra outlay for the increase in capacity.
Bought from Amazon as it was best price at the time. It works as it should. Not much more you can say about a battery!
Well worth the extra money for the extra power in this 5 Ah batt. Used extensively in the Ryobi cordless lawn mower and drill we have not yet managed to fully discharge it! A great piece of kit, highly recommended.
Take an age to fully charge with the standard Ryobi charger but once fully charged kept my orbital sander going for hours

Great high capacity battery, the Ryobi One+ system is simply the best, offering great tools at a reasonable cost.
Lasts for ages with my strimmer, about 30-40 mins depending on what sort of thing I am trying to strim.
If you’re signed up to the Ryobi ONE+ system you are gonna need these.
Personally I find the system extremely convenient (and dramatically reduces my reluctance to carry out garden work). Hey but horses for courses, your call.
Brilliant – plenty of power for the circular saw. Smaller batteries not really man enough for the job but husband used this battery all afternoon on saw and drill and still had power left!
op battery that has a good length of life when charged. I use it with all my ryobi devices from a drill to grinder and have had good results.

I purchased this a little worried that it wouldn’t fit the antique ONE+ jigsaw I bought when they first came out, or that the crager wouldn’t work. Need not have worried. Works like a dream.
Works well but watch the stem part of battery. Can be quite fragile and plastic breaks off in not looked afte
Using it for woodworking with a circular saw, good staying power but expensive, wait for a deal.
It does take a little longer to recharge than other, smaller capacity, batteries, but that is a small price to pay.
I highly recommend getting one of these!
Replacement for original battery. Needed its own charger, as the charge rate is different, but works well & much lighter than old NiCad.

Just like my other older ones but half the size and a little more capacity. They have been very good, so expect this will be the sam,,hard to fault ryobi products, I have had them for years.
Awesome bit of kit. I have a few of these to use with various items within the Ryobi ONE+ product line and so far they’ve never let me down.
This battery fully charges in under an hour and will last about half an hour of constant use.

A new lease of life to all my Ryobi tools. Unbelievable improvement to power and running time compared to the fairly worn out NiCd batteries that had given Stirling service. Well worth the cost.
It’s a big battery, what more can I say. Bought because the 1.25 Ah batteries that came with the drill only last a couple of hours. It does make the drill noticibly heavier, but I’ve used the drill many times (for several hours in total) since getting this and the battery still shows full charge. Lovely jubbly!
Plenty of staying power ideal for intermittent working day, but is weighty. I use the smaller battery when job requires and one extended arm on large pieces such as auger on 6″ beams. Close up easy just crack on.
Placed on an initial charge which took a while, hooked it up to an impact driver which I was using drive six inch screws into two, two inch pieces of wood lasted all day and was happy with the performance
These are great batteries and last a long time when fully charged, I have two and use them all the time. I would recommend them to anyone. Delivery was good, well packaged and fair price.
Can’t speak highly enough about these batteries which have rejuvenated my use of existing Ryobi One+ tools. I previously used Ni-Cd batteries which were OK when relatively new but never had great life when used hard. The Lithium cells are lighter, more compact, charge more quickly and last miles longer than their predecessors – I would say 3 to 4 times as long. They also hold their charge when not in use which is great news for those unpredictable jobs. The only question mark is how long will this performance last – only time will tell but, so far at least, these batteries tick all the boxes.
I couldn’t believe how long the charge lasted in these compared to my previous NiH batteries. Shame the Ryobi BCL14181H One Plus Fast Charger I bought with them blew up after a few uses!
When this works it is excellent I have only given it 4 stars as this is the 3rd one I have purchased as the battery keeps burning out, fingers crossed maybe 3rd time lucky
If you are doing any kind of heavy duty work with Ryobi ONE tools, then get yourself a 4.0Ah battery (I’ve bought two). It just makes all the difference to the circular saw and drills. So much power, that it astonished me what I could saw and drill through with these batteries fitted.
My company decided to chuck they’re ryobi 18v grinder because the NiCad batteries were shagged. Thankfully, Ryobi batteries are retro compatible. Worked straight out the pack, charges in about 20 mins. Good for medium use, maybe should’ve gone for 4.0ah? But ok for now.
Certainly the cheapest I could find, be wary of eBay copies….
I would recommend buying two x 1.5Ah as the lighter weight makes it much easier on the hands, wrists and arms. While I consider the Ryobi range of tools is not the best quality for full-on professional use, they are pretty good for heavy DIY use. Don’t forget the Lithium batterys need a special charger.
Very very happy. The clips on it aren’t as positive as the Bosch batteries. However it does have a built in L.E.D. meter so you can check how much you have got left in the battery during use.
A must have if you own any of the Ryobi one + tools. yes it is heavier byut it is so much better from a power and time perspective it is worth the extra bit of weight. Certain tools also need this battery to actually function in any sort of decent way.
These are essential if you use any of the Ryobi One + heavy tools. They last a good time, they have energy indicators to show battery life. and they charge pretty swiftly as well.
