The literature with it merely asks one to scan the code on unit that takes one to register the product. I looked through the brochure that gives a link to download instructions for use . Opening the door the instructions are visible at eye level
First attempt was able to set the clock, figured out how to use microwave. First attempt to microwave, result was good. Ascetically the unit looks good.
I did not realise that its microwave, grill and oven and has combi functions – Microvae + Grill or Oven+Microwave or stand alone functions. TandSamsung prooori chicken came out superb.
So far have tried three functions Microwave, cook and heat, combi function oven+Microwave – Frozen pizza was like out of Pizza place. ill try dough proof and home made yoghurt in it. One of functions.
So far very satisfied with this Samsung product.
I’ve found it be an invaluable device and even left out a conventional oven when designing my previous kitchen because I had stopped using one with this around. The kitchen in my newer house has an oven but I’ve never had to use it in the 4 years I’ve been here. Just be sure to read the dimensions and allow for sufficient clearance because this can affect the performance. My fan problem might be due to my not leaving enough clearance at the back in my new place.
Looking around for a replacement I haven’t found anything that offers the performance of this machine at anything like a comparable price and if the need arises I will just replace it with the same model if it’s still available.
The programs are good and I’ve used quite a few but not all of them. It can be used easily with just the basic functions but I like to keep the manual in a handy drawer for the different programs. I find the instructions quite adequate and I’ve not had anything go wrong yet. Unlike your “typical male” I like to read manuals for everything I buy and I suggest reading this one through to at least get a knowledge of what it can do and keep it handy for more detailed instructions when you want to try something new.
I recommend this machine based on my experience of using it.
I don’t know if it is relevant but for context I’m a 73 yr old man living on his own.
I bought this oven for my own use when my Rayburn was being removed and I was waiting for my full sized oven to be installed, so when my daughter needed a temporary oven while her Aga was being restored I bought the same oven for her. I haven’t used all the functions yet but the convection oven and the microwave functions both work excellently
I like the microwave, only 3 stars on easy to use because the Manuel it comes with is non existent, I have to keep watching YouTube or try and figure it out , otherwise it’s really good
he oven is quick to be heat up and easy for cleaning in the interior. Though it’s a bit noisy when it’s operating.
Useful features and very easy to use. Good size internally, no problems with large plates or bowls.
Our last Samsung microwave just broke after 8 years so got this and it was cheaper than the last one and this is a combination other wasn’t.

This combination microwave is very useful as my large oven is faulty so needed an oven in order to cook meat etc. It looks great in my kitchen. The downside is that there are very few instructions so I had to resort to trial and error. There was a lot of error!! Eventually I worked it out but a more detailed instruction booklet would have been helpful.
Wish I had bought one before. Easy and quick meals in a much quicker and cleaner way.
We were drawn to this model by the slim fry facility.
Having used it several times for chips the results are nowhere near as good as deep frying them.
The other facilities on the oven work very well.
This product is great, with lots of functions. The instructions for use are clear and easy to understand.
The downside is the interface and has to be laboriously learnt and is not very intuitive. A key pad or turn dial would improve matters. Needs time and in our case our own quick reference guide. Well worth the effort as rarely use the main oven these days. That is what resulted in 4*.
I’ve got one bought it about 5 years ago, or the equivalent it works buy it you won’t be sorry.
Unfortunately had to return this microwave. The back portion sticks out too much and probably only suit if you stick the microwave on the corner. Otherwise a huge gap is left between the wall and the unit. Does not look pretty because of it.
Our previous (Daewoo) blew up so we went for this because of brand reputation. Hope it lasts longer than the 12 months our last one did! 20 litre capacity is plenty, though there are bigger ovens around. We use it as a conventional oven as much as a microwave and it bakes perfectly. User guide is pretty hopeless, but after some trial and error you get the hang of the controls. We like the touch controls which are easier to clean than knobs.
Really pleased with purchase, good price, haven’t used all programmes yet .
The power is not as good as my last combi but at half the price I cannot complain.. Everything working as stated. Would recommend.
Its taken a few weeks to get to know but I’m so glad I put in the effort, its a cracking oven and well worth the money!
We had bought an earlier version of this Samsung which gave us great service for 13 years.
The old one stopped heating so probably magnetron issuebut it will be fixed!
Only arrived this afternoon and so far I have only cleaned it out.
Have been trying to register this with Samsung but I am not getting any verification emails so not sure what is going in there but have send an email just waiting for a reply.

I roasted a chicken larger than the auto cook timings so I had to work out how to add some time (auto for the biggest chicken size then hot blast micro and oven about 5 mins extra, then micro and grill about 5 mins for the extra browning). I’ve made yoghurt which is really good but does take 7 hours of very gentle tick-over electricity so I must compare that to a pot from the supermarket. Next time I do yoghurt I will put much more in than the 5 pots suggested, and there definitely is room for more.
Boiled potatoes in a few minutes – excellent. Non frozen pizza – a touch overcooked on auto but v close to the mark. Rice gets a tick.
Roasted half peppers filled with basil and tomatoes drizzled with olive oil did not hit the spot. I used the straightforward oven feature. Some things like a good time to develop maybe?. I will stick to the real oven for those.
ordinary microwave use is easy… and so on.
I am measuring the electricity consumption and will have to report back to you in a while with the full details. I’m using a clamp meter so not very scientific, but a smart meter is due end of November. At the moment though, just that magnificent 1.7kg roasted chicken in half a hour plus a few minutes final faffing makes it worth every penny.
The white is rather good by the way. I am glad it is all they had at the time of my purchase. This is not a plastic coated microwave, it is powder coated metal.

Edit March 2022. The bread proving function is amazing. Pop the covered bowl in the oven and leave it on auto for an hour. I use a no knead 500g flour recipe most often (James Morton’s Brilliant Bread, which I bought on Amazon), and that has three proves – two on auto for an hour in the bowl and one in the pan it will be cooked in for a further hour. The oven warms very slightly and the plate rotates. This is a revolution for my bread making and I’m no longer chasing spots of sun around the house with a bowl of dough.
On the down side – I struggle with the oven/baking function because the heating element is exposed on the roof of the oven. So, there’s direct red heat on and off during the cooking process and a combination of microwave and grill or the hot blast functions on things like macaroni cheese leave a cellophane browned texture on the top and not the normal browned bubbles I’d get from the big fan oven. I’d not use this for entertaining.
Warning – the heating element I just mentioned is touchable and I’ve burned myself once trying to turn toast over on the high rack. As such, I will not be buying one of these for my elderly parents and I’d not want children to use it.
It is still great and I’m happy with this item – please could we have a recipe book for it.
Plenty of useful features but having to download full instructions is a bit of a pain. For the price I would have thought Samsung could stretch to a decent inclusion for use
My only criticism is the manual, more of a start up guide, it isn’t informative enough. I know I can go and download a manual but I’m a bit of a dinosaur and like products to come with a printed manual, just a personal preference. Having said that it is very easy to operate and understand, it isn’t overly complicated. It’s very neat on the counter top and I like the fact you can see your food as it cooks, not all microwaves allow you to see your food, it’s useful if you can see something that is potentially over-cooking especially in microwave mode. I would definitely recommend this item for a small household.

I do like this oven, a lot cheaper to use than large conventional oven. I preferred my previous smart oven with a knob rather than a press pad for timing.
1st one I received had dents in top and a bent front leg that’s why I only gave it 4. Received another one quickly and this one is perfect. Really like it quite easy to use and clean and great price.
I was thinking of spending like 400 on a microwave, but when I read specs on others this came out just as good and more then half the price

we already have a similar version of this combi microwave, it’s easy to use and we use the convection oven
most of the time. my 11 yr old grandson soon learned how to use it with adult supervision. we usually bake cakes in it and cook meat, my 17 yr old grandson cooks frozen pizzas with it, i actually had to ask him how to do it when i tried to do one, its easy to use the auto cook once you know how but i still failed. would definately recommend this to anyone.
Space saving, low noise & quick heat up time plus extra features make this unit Ideal for us.
As this equipment is multi-functional it is understandable that it is more complicated to operate than a dedicated machine (say a microwave or a grill) but this little beastie has both, and an air-fry and a hot-bast, thought these two features come down to a clever use of the fan oven.
Air frying is basically turbo fan oven, ie: air pushed rapidly over super hot elements, hot blast is simply a variant on this theme. This oven comes with a crisp plate, which heats the food from the bottom (by making the crisp plate very hot) in hot air mode, and the real clever shinanegans come with the magnatron + hot air/grill combo, for which programs are provided.
The stir-fry mode uses the maganatron, hot air and the crisper plate to make chips (fries) in 20 min, half the time my dedicated air-fryer takes.
The programs are a bit archaine and somewhat like Harry Potter one must utter the correct invocation for the right results, and like Harry Potter, one must attend Dark Arts class before mastering them, which in this case, comes down to reading the manual, which leaves something to be desired in its organisation and presentation, therefor a complete read through is recommended.
Fortunately the machine provided several ‘straight up’ options:- The aforementioned quick start button, a microwave button which allows you to change the power and time (this is done through the big ‘one press’ dial, having selected, say microwave you twiddle the knob for desired power, press the knob, and twiddle for time, then hit the start/quick start button. The grill and stir-fry are operated similarly, so rice, pasta, toast and chips all nice and easy.
Two criticisms, one: its rather heavy, possibly because of all the stuff in it. Two: not so easy to clean, the manual say the grill should flip down for easy cleaning (of it and the roof I assume) but this is not the case, this model does not have the flip down grill as mentioned in the manual, more over, the manual fails to mention how to flip the grill down, not withstanding, careful inspection of my unit show the grill is securely fastened to the roof and will do no such thing as flip in any direction.

Arrived a day earlier than expected. Will take a bit of getting used to all the controls. A bit fiddly putting in times, have to keep pressing a button instead of simply having a knob to turn. No Cancellation Button if you make a mistake entering a programme. Have to turn it off and start again. Instructions rather sketchy and print too small. A good price for a good looking piece of kit. No doubt I will learn in time but at 88 I am not so quick on the uptake. I have managed to use the Microwave and the Oven straightforwardly.
Just what I need for all my cooking, ideal for baking frozen fish and pizzas. Should have bought one a long time ago.

This is a great combination microwave oven. Unfortunately I got a defective, refurbished modell, which stopped after 2 weeks of usage, but I was able to return it and get a full refund. Recommended product, but nor from Amazon Marketplace. Buy it from a reputable reseller instead.

Still dubious that you can use the metal racks in a microwave, when using combi microwave/grill and microwave/ convection oven.. but NOT when using microwave only.
Have been busy testing it out since Saturday, when it was delivered..Microwave, both combinations, the grill, the convection oven, all work flawlessly. Usually only ever used the old microwave for baked beans or heating milk etc..
Even did a casserole in it today and it was delicious.
Read the review mentioning the high pitch noise and can only say I’ve not had any problems so far and can only suggest, that particular customer, either has a faulty hearing aid, tinnitus or got a product with a very rare fault.

Only tiny little niggle I have, is setting the timer. I would prefer to have a numeric keypad, so say for 1:30, I would just type 130 and when you press and hold the up or down arrows, it increases or decreases a bit fast.. but having played with it for a while now, I’ve gotten used to it. So can’t deduct for that.
Incredibly smooth interior, which is a doddle to clean. grab yourself a pack of Oven Mate microwave wipes. Chuck one on the glass turntable, close the door, heat it up, wait a while, then wipe the interior and even the exterior clean.. AND they are biodegradable too, which is good for the environment. The old lemon juice and water trick , might sound like a great idea, but lemons aren’t cheap and I’d rather make a lemon drizzle cake any day
Comes with holding trays so you can microwave more than one dish at one time. Have tried the grill and it does work but mainly on top, the bottom does be left a bit soggy so the grill doesn’t circulate fully so good for toast but pizza maybe not so much, overall i do recommend it!

No cookery book. Using combination oven micro top heat is 600. Iv found it problematic to cook roast potatoes, micro grill is the same. Iv only used this for two weeks so early days to change s mindset of 20 years with Panasonic.

One failing by Samsung is No Cookery book included. Panasonic includes a excellent paperback.

It is altogether too clever for me to master! I need a dummies guide to use it to its fullest extent. I can reheat and defrost, but it is capable of so much more. Not the microwaves fault – but I don’t find it easy to operate…..

The biggest disappointment is the promised 3 year warranty appears to be only 1 year (12 month) as stated in the papers that came with it! – UPDATE: well, I did manage to register for the promised 3 years, but the process was VERY cumbersome and requires research and a good effort to reach the correct web-page – shame on Samsung making it so difficult!
