No trapped cord anymore
Doing the job as advertised. We’ve a long coated white German Shepherd and picks up hair no problem. We do have to clean the brush roll after about every 10 hoovers but that can be expected with a dog that moults all year round
Performs exactly as described
This vacuum is very impressive, suction is excellent and I love the headlights! However when the wand is extended with the vacuum attached it is quite top heavy and if I need to move some furniture, it needs to be supported or the wand folded as the machine will topple over! Other than this it is really good and easy to use. Can well recommend it!

This cleaner is everything it was said to be. Light, easy to use, very good suction, easy to store, easy to empty. The battery lasts a longer than I need and anyway there is a second battery if I have a sudden mass cleaning fit (unlikely). I bought it primarily to avoid lugging the vacuum cleaner I had upstairs. Slightly defeated the object because I like the Shark so much that I now take it downstairs as well. Still it is easy to carry. It folds in half so fits easily in a wardrobe, or in my case the airing cupboard.

Lightweight and sucks up like a dream
It’s so lightweight and portable that vacuuming is no longer a chore. I whip it out at any sign of mess. I love it so much more than my unwieldy Dyson. Yes, you have to clean the caught up hairs away frequently but even that is less of a chore compared with my old Dyson.

We have two long-haired cats and this Hoover really does clean the carpet after they’ve sat on it. With the clear selection tub you can see all your hard work after just a few minutes. The ability to change the heads and flexibility of the wand means you can get into all the hard and difficult places. I thoroughly recommend this to others

Love this Hoover, makes cleaning a pleasure! Fantastic suction, lightweight and folds down easily. I keep it in the kitchen and use it every day. Even use this in place of my bigger hoover as it is so easy and picks up everything. I use it on Porcelain tiles, vinyl flooring and carpet – all to good effect.

The Shark is heavier than I’m used to but it’s not a problem. And I like the two batteries so no more having to recharge the vacuum part way through cleaning. Good value for money. I highly recommend this product.

It picks up hair and small particles well but if you think it is going to be like a conventional hoover think again. It does not pick up like a conventional hoover it does not suck up items like small pieces of paper. I love that it is instant power and does not have to be plugged in so cleaning is easier. I like that you can turn it into a small hoover and remove cobwebs, clean sofas, curtains etc using the tools provided. I am amazed how it picks up dirt. I use it every day and most days the hoover is full of dust and hair. This shows it is doing the job well. Only dislike is it is a bit heavy.

Sad to say it but this may well be the best thing I’ve ever bought myself, it’s actually made a palpably positive difference to my life. We have hard floors and rugs at home so I used to have a sweeping brush, plus dustpan and brush, handy for the inevitable daily detritus but would often put off the actual job (I’m not really that lazy it was just such a pain and not very efficient anyway). Then I’d drag my hateful Hetty cylinder out for a ‘good do’ once a week aaaargh, the horror, I despised the machine. So the Shark has completely revolutionised the way I clean, I just vacuum as and when and the weekly housework nightmare has simply disappeared. I ENJOY vacuuming now…is that normal?

I have tried some great brand hoovers but have been sadly disappointed, however first time with SHARK and I can honestly say, this is by far the BEST cordless hoover I have ever tried, I am unbelievably fussy as I know what I need in a hoover, I am so grateful to shark, they got this right, Top marks to Shark, will definitely buy this brand again.
Definitely recommended this product as I have already to friends and family.

Great vacuum cleaner but the anti hair wrap just doesn’t work

I use this for a wood floor and carpets. The good thing is that it is lighter than my previous vacuum cleaner, but it is still heavier than I thought. The good thing is that it is cordless (I still keep thinking there is a cord and look around for it!) and I can carry it upstairs slightly more easily than my last one. The dust box is messy without a bag and I opened it the wrong way around the first time which was horrible, but you can wash it with water but it is still a messy process. It sucks up hairs but not paper clips and anything too big, and I can’t get to the edges of the skirting boards very well with the main hoover. It takes me a while to unclick the stick to put it away when not in use. Expensive, but I think worth it for its reduced weight.

As much as we would like to say good things about this the reality is it is horribly uncomfortable to use for any length of time due to the silly trigger setup and delivers largely inefective suction – I hoovered with this battery powered machine then hoovered over the same area immediately with an old mains powered Shark – The amount picked up using the mains machine prooved the battery device to be totally inefective!
In summation – Can do the stairs(ish) but is it worth the extra cupboard space and torment charging batteries = No! Very disapointing considering the price point.

Best hoover I’ve ever had
Great value for money great price. Easy to use and does the job. Suction is excellent. Beats my previous Dysons. Well pleased with it.!

I bought this to mainly use for my kitchen but it works well in most rooms now. It’s very neat and does a good job. It’s lovely not to have a cable or hose to deal with. Each battery seems to last a reasonable amount of time. I also like the lift off canister to deal with the stairs and other areas for a quick vacuum up. It’s very easy to empty. I would not like to be without this. Can recommend this.
Sadly after just over 2 years the first part of the stick in the bending mechanism has broken rendering very difficult to use.

I am thrilled with this Shark vacuum – it’s very light, easy to move around on any surface and has plenty of accessories for cleaning in odd places (under furniture, on top of wardrobes, removing dust from shelves of books & CDs, etc.). The 2 batteries each hold enough charge for cleaning the whole house (8 rooms + bathroom & kitchen). The only minor downside is the capacity of the dust container (the part you have to empty) – I have to empty the container after each room (compared to my big heavy Dyson which is capacious enough for the whole house) but the sheer convenience of the Shark actually makes cleaning a pleasurable experience – I don’t say that lightly ‘cos I hate housework!! Incidentally, unlike some reviewers, I have had absolutely no problem with “hair wrap” – both my wife and I have longish hair, which clogs up the Dyson very quickly. The Shark is perfect for this … not a single hair to be seen!

Durable but quite heavy
It makes a Dyson V8 feel flimsy – because it is definitely heavier at the head. The dual roller is preferable to the Dyson but needs regular cleaning. Get the twin battery deal and keep vacuuming!
