Does the job well
I definitely liked this steam cleaner it’s output is good the cable is extremely long. The head Is massive too and it can be flipped over. The only drawback I’ve found because it’s an oblong shape it doesn’t go into the corners as well as my old one.

The dirt on the pad was a shock so now my floor is proper clean, now.
Arrived quickly, and was straight forward to use.
I’ve Karndean flooring so keep my steam on the low setting.

Strong steam delivery
We have a wonderful Shark vacuum cleaner and the steam mop continues the build quality and clever design. Excellent and continuous steam delivery and clever system for use and change of mop heads

This steam cleaner does a great job of cleaning the floors. Unfortunately I find it very heavy and the cord continually gets in the way and tangles round my feet. I know its not cordless so I should expect that. In spite of my criticism I would still recommend it.

Best Steam Mop
I have had numerous Steam Mops for my home and this is by far the best one. Cord length is excellent, with the cleaning power just great especially for paw marks as well as human footprints.

Very pleased with it, but was surprised that the instructions said it had to be used with distilled water. There was no mention of it in the advert. It just said water.

I have used a number of steam cleaners over the years but this by far is the best. The kitchen is always problematic with dried bits of food sticking or drying on the floor before it is noticed. I would always have to clean these spots by hand, however this steamer with its rotating mops shifts it easily. I also found the muddy animal prints and food spills from our fluffy family members are quickly dealt with. It is great value for money and very robust in comparison to previous steam cleaners. I love this Shark Steam & Scrub Automatic Steam Mop [S6002UK] and I have recommended it to my friends and family.

Scarily effective
Bought this to use on tiled kitchen, utility room and wet room. Easy to use, quick to get up to steam and scarily effective at lifting dirt from textured tiles. Looks like we’ve had a new floor installed.
Just brillia
Awful grooved, cheap linoleum kitchen floor pummelled by family traffic. Used to be a back killer and still dirty after mopping. Now so much easier and a load cleaner. Use with a recommended steam detergent.

We have slate tiles in the kitchen and dining room. This cleans and steams. Easy to use on the tiles, reaches temp fast! Two settings mean it’s powerful enough to clean the slate and can be switched to the light mode to whizz over the laminate we have. Floors are visibly cleaner and dry faster than a previous steam mop from a different vacuum manufacturer.
Pads are easy to put on and remove. Machine washable pads makes it easy maintenence.
Cord is long enough so you don’t have to unplug as you move rooms. Easy to put together out of the box, the water tank is quick to fill with the jug included.
It does stand up when not in use and goes into standby when switched on. Slight negative is that when standing it leans and feels like it might fall if not left near a wall. It hasn’t yet though…

As usual, Shark puts an extra set of pads in the box so you always have a clean set to hand – just to note, the pads are machine washable and can be left to air dry.
In summary…

This steam mop is great, so glad we got it. Love the cord length, it allows you so much more area to cover than previous ones I’ve had from other well known brands. Genuinely can’t fault this purchase, so far, so good!

I love that this steams and scrubs – something I have struggled to find. I haven’t had it long but so far: build quality seems good (satisfyingly weighty); it heats up really quickly; is simple and enjoyable to use plus I like the design and washable pads and it wasn’t expensive (just over 100). The finish isn’t perfect. Shiny tiles need buffing afterwards and you can see swirly marks on matt finish tiles. However, I can get round a 60m2 space in 30 mins (including pre-vacuum) and the floor looks clean. It gets muddy paw prints off and even paint splashes if you hover long enough over the same spot. It’s a LOT better than having to get down on my hands and knees and scrub, which is the only other way of getting as good a finish. I’m really pleased with it and, having tried no end of other methods, it’s the only one I would bother to write a review for. Recommend!

Water level in tank hard to see
This is a good, efficient steam cleaner. The mop head is easy to reverse and change.My only complaint is that the level of water in the tank is almost impossible to see through the little coloured window. I have to lift the cleaner (it’s quite heavy) to peer at it. The tank is small too. Apart from that, a very good purchase.

Great for quick brief clea
Loved the ease of use. However, if you wipe floor with a white damp cloth after cleaning, I found the floor was still dirty and so too were our feet and socks!! so you have to use a another clean cloth to clean floor again. This is probably due to dirty cloth spreading the dirt. Also the steam does not appear to be very hot which could contribute to floor not being 100% clean. Now we have a new issue – the cleaner keeps making a whistling noise as soon as it is switched on. I have spoken to Amazon and they have arranged free collection tomorrow and delivery of a new Shark Cleaner. Amazing customer service!!! I would still buy this item again!!

Invaluable bit of cleaning ki
I love this mop. It was easy to assemble and use. It works immediately and no need to wait for it to heat up. It gives a deep clean with minimum effort. No scrubbing required. I simply can’t be without it now. I never in my life thought I’d look forward to mopping the kitchen and conservatory floors.

The mop cleaned my tile floors quite well. It was easy to use and more convenient than carrying buckets of water upstairs to the bathroom. I used it on the shower tray – it cleaned well. My only reservation is the need to purchase the floor cloths.

I had just recently bought a steam cleaner a lot less money but it was rubbish so I have a Shark Hoover and I can honestly it’s the best Hoover I’ve ever had including Dyson! So I can highly recommend both.

Gets the flooring really clea
We have been using a Karcher floor cleaner on our hard floors. Recently it broke down and had to be sent for repair, (we had previously had one replaced as faulty after a few months) We bought this Shark Steam Mop as a cheap replacement to use whilst waiting for the Karcher to return. Since we started to use it we have found out how much cleaner we can get the floors. The Shark will now be our main cleaner. Well worth the money.

Best steam mop EVER!
This steam mop exceeded my expectations after having tried a few disappointing brands. The only downside is it’s not free standing but this is minor. The jet steam is amazing for cleaning the grooves on wooden floors. My floors are light grey and the grooves were becoming grubby. This blasted them clean and they look good as new!

I was tempted to use high because my quarry tile kitchen floor gets very grubby. But the medium setting did a great job. The pads are easy to get on and off. I didn’t even need to touch them, they just fell off at the touch of a button. Great length of cord and I didn’t need to change sockets when I transferred from the kitchen clean to the front doorstep at the opposite side of the house. Pus, I liked the fact I didn’t have to remove the water container to fill it. I just needed to open a nozzle at the top and pour the water in from the jug supplied. All in all, a great steam cleaner.

This steamer is so powerful it removes dirt you didn’t know was there. The only down side is it’s so noisy . Could have done with a carpet glide which for the price I expected would be included but no

I mop daily with young kids and a dog, it’s a routine and ensure the kids are free from germs or nasties. I came across a YouTube of this product and was impressed, so I thought I’d give it a go. I’m normally a very loyal customer of Dyson and was waiting for them to bring out some sort of floor cleaner since I have all their products, but alas it hasn’t come. This was a risky step, but Shark seems reputable in the UK, so given the reviews I read were impressive, I took the big step and purchased one.
The Shark was easy to set up and I filled the tank easily with some water and a touch of Zoflora. I chose the highest steam level for ultimate clean. As most reviews mentioned whilst the cloth pad is dry it’s a little hard work to move around, but once the steam has soaked the pad through it was a breeze and making light of really hard work. The cord caused me no issue and it was long enough for me to cover my kitchen/diner. Honestly, if you are hesitating, don’t! This cleans better than a standard mop and the high steam and heat means the floor dries quicker.

I’ve gone all through the cheap floor steamers and they are all the same, they leave your floor soaking wet afterwards except this one. Amazing steam mop!!!
What can I say? I love this steam mop! I ordered it after recommendations from friends and also Mrs Hinch! I’ve used cheaper steam mops in the past but this knocks spots off it. It seems a lot more powerful…. Lots of steam, heats up and “ready to go” quickly, leaves floors super clean and feeling more hygienic. I have 4 dogs and use this regularly. I really like the flip over pad so you can use both sides and steam blast when you need it, plus the release pad function so you don’t have to fiddle around getting it on and off. Very happy, highly recommended….happy steaming

Clean in a blast of steam
Having mainly laminate flooring in my house alongside 2 kids and 3 pets I have found that steam mops are the only way to keep the floors vaguely clean. My last one was terrible and broke within 8 months, after researching i found the shark. It doesnt convert to a handheld and its heavier than my previous ones but boy does it pack a powerful punch! No chance i am going back to any other steamer! Only design feature i would change is perhaps to make it foldable for storage but tht is just because i dont have a broom cupboard to store things this height in.

It’s honestly amazing! I have a dog and toddler and this is the first time I’m using it on our hardwood floors and this is just our open plan kitchen livingroom. Can’t wait to use it tomorrow on thr rest of the house.
The quickest floor cleaner I’ve ever used!
I love this floor steamer! It is so easy to use and is a dream on the kitchen floor. It is also brilliant at killing bacteria in our disabled bathroom where the steam spray can be used in the corners to kill off mould.
Empty water after use and doesn’t stand up so mines hit the floor a few times
It’s my second one I think I killed the first as use it so much , thing I would prefer is on and off button on the actual machine rather than having to switch off from the mains also I’d recommend you empty the water out after each use as does scale up
Check the weigh
This item works very well and overall I am pleased with it. But, I do find it a little heavy to use especially for someone who is older and not very tall. The four stars for “ease to use” reflect this comment.

I like the fact that it’s so simple to use , fill up tank , plug in and away you go.
I like the big pad which means a bigger area covered and I can get right in to the corners . Also very easy to pop off with a button . I have washed it in my washing machine
The cord is very long
The tank is big enough that I never have to refill in one clean and I have a large area to cover
The handle and arm are solid
Pleased on the whole
I use it for cleaning tile floors. The only problems are that I find it hard to see when the water chamber is free and that when I was the removable fabric even when following the instructions it doesn’t look clean.
overall perfomance
This item was sold as new. the box/packaging was in very poor condition and damaged and held together with sellotape, items inside were open and not in there sealed condition, this was obviously an item sold before and returned and should have been sold at very reduced price, still not sure if I have all the parts. the unit when put together work as expected, not happy with Amazon with this purchase. better suited for Ebay

I did some research before ordering this and glad that I did. As it is brilliant. Steam keeps up a steady stream, and it is easy to use, and goodness me, very good at cleaning. It replaced my old Shark liftaway steam mop, and it is so much better. I never used the lift away bit on the old one, so this is great.
Great steam cleane
I bought this as a present for my step daughter, I already have the same one, infinitely superior to my previous 2 models. She is delighted with it, again her previous models just could not compete, does the job

Amazing! Thought my kitchen floor wasn’t too bad until used this. Was so shocked at how much dirt it picked up. Really easy to use and really long cord which is good. Little bit of vanish and 40 degree wash and the mop head nice and white again. Would recommend.
Fantastic bit of ki
Wow. What a fantastic steamer. Knocks spots off my previous Vileda model. Cleans with very little effort, so no endless going back and forward over stubborn areas. Couple of things to note though; it won’t stand up on its own ( come on Shark, sort this out), the mop head is quite free roaming and therefore you need two hands to steer it ( bit like flying a helicopter ) and there’s no on/ off switch on it so you have to turn off at the plug. Other than these issues I’m delighted with my purchase.

We’ve been looking for a steam cleaner for some time and decided on this one as we have a shark hoover and cannot fault the customer service. This works well and heats up really quickly. It’s super simple to use and easy to switch to the power blast for those stubborn marks. The only minor gripe that I have is that, both the box and instructions, it states that the carpet glider is included but it isn’t on this particular model.

I bought this to use as we have lots of wooden floors. On some it pushes well but in the main floor I use it in it doesn’t glide as well as I had hoped. It does remove a lot of dirt. I usually use both pads on one side. The pads never seem to clean pristine as you can’t use stain removers on them or it damages them but they still work well.

After using the cheap steam mops years ago I wasn’t going to fall into the same trap this time when the Wife said she wanted a steam mop for the laminate floors.
This is a you get what you pay for item.
The mop is solidly built with a good amount of weight to it so there is some resistance when mopping helping you clean and remove stains/marks.
Has a good size reservoir and the filling cup also clips onto the mop shaft so no misplacing it. Heats up rather quickly.
The mop head is a good size and is very easy to manoeuvre around the floor. It also has the benefit of being able to flip the head over onto the other side when one side gets dirty meaning you can clean for longer before having to change the pad.
The pads are so easy to remove and clip back into place, no need to tie or clip these. The mop head simply opens up and slides into the holders on the back of the mop pad, then you just move the mop head until it clicks and thats it.
The mop leaves the floor clean and not soaking so you’re not waiting ages for it to dry, it’s just the right amount of steam.
I would highly recommend this product.

Like how much the Shark steamer removed all the old residue detergent left on my tiled kitchen floor from previous ” mopping ! So easy to use, No more back ache from using mop, So easy to use xx
Perfect steam mop
Really good steam mop, we have it for a few months now, maybe close to half a year, use it on LVT floor a few times a week and it’s great. My parents got Karcher, I used both and would always pick my Shark over Karcher, it’s so much better! I even converted two of my friends from normal mop to this steam mop and they both love it as much as I do! Star down is only because I wish it was cordless and it could definitely come with some wall mount (attached picture of how we sorted that issue)

This thing is so damn easy to use, and so very quick to clean the floors and the click/snap mop attachment thing is GENIUS. It’s quite heavy to use but that’s only a problem when getting it in/out of the cupboard. I used to mop my wooden floors with a standard mop and bucket of water. The difference is incredible. I love it. I am a sad person.

For .. easy to put together. 3heat settings, heats up really fast. Plenty of cord length. Flips over really easily to use second side of head.
Against .. just one, quite heavy,but it’s a sign of quality.
Having a large kitchen diner this is the best steam cleaner I have used , some seem to just smar grime round the floor.
Excellent steam mops
Tried a few steam mops in my time, both at work as a hotel housekeeper and at home. The Shark steam mops are undoubtedly the best. They don’t leave the floor soaking wet like some, the floor dries very quickly. There are no muddy streaks. The mop heads are really easy to wash in the washing machine. The steam is reassuringly hot and cleans and disinfects hard floors. The cord is a really good length. The steam mop is relatively light weight and easy to use and quickly gets up to required heat.

Great mop, used in a huge tiled and wood floor. Just awesome! First one we had head broke fir whatever reason and it was replaced next day. No problems with this one. Super customer service and the best mop I’ve ever had!!!
Heats up instantly
The mop works perfectly leaving the floor virtually dry upon completion. The long cord means I can do the whole of the downstairs of my house without the need to keep unplugging it and moving to another socket. Well worth the money, I would recommend it to anyone.
Its great , better than expected
This purchase has turned out to be very successful. Replacing a steam mop of another make its so simple to use and does the job whether on tiled, wood or laminate floors. You presse the button on the front according to the floor type. Would recommend.

I am really pleased with this. I haven’t owned or used anything like it before so was a bit nervous about getting it. I’m pleased I did as it was so straight forward to put together and use – it was up and running within 15 minutes of arrival and that includes opening the box and unwrapping it etc.
It didn’t leave the floors all wet and we bought some steam detergent (Ocean Fresh) too and it made the room smell lovely. Put my old mop and bucket up the loft just in case and hung my steam mop up out of the way – pefect!

The only thing I will say is that it should be advertised to use water only in the mop. I purchased the detergent recommended to go with it, and it ruined my floor. It took the shine off the tiles and left a sticky matte residue. After 5 further mops using just water. I had to get down on my hands and knees and scrub the tiles to get the shine back.
ONLY USE WATER WITH THE STEAM MOP. DO NOT ADD DETERGENT OR ANY OTHER PRODUCT.

I love this steam mop. I’ve used it on tiles and on laminate flooring, both are now cleaner than they’ve ever been. It’s really easy to used and the pads wash well. I’d definitely recommend!
