Ich habe mir die KH in der Farbe Midnight Blue gekauft, wobei ich mir zuerst nicht sicher war. Nun bin ich echt froh mich gegen das schnde Schwarz entschieden zu haben, denn das Blau sieht fantastisch aus. Es hat einen leichten Schimmer und ist schn dezent. Auch die rosgoldenen Akzente sich sehr gelungen.
Fr die Verwendung unter Android und iOS empfiehlt sich die SONY Headphones App zu laden. Beim ersten Verbinden wird einem diese auch direkt vorgeschlagen. ber die App lassen sich smtliche Features wie NC, EQ usw einstellen. Auch lsst sich ber die App zB die Systemsprache auf Deutsch anpassen (Sprachansagen zB beim ein- und ausschalten). Wirklich notwendig ist das allerdings nicht, da die englischen Ansagen selbsterklrend sind und vorallem das Setup auf Deutsch sehr lange dauert fr meinen Geschmack.
Gekoppelt wird der KH entweder ber Bluetooth (er ist auch NFC-fhig) oder klassisch ber 3,5mm Klinke. Digital-Audio ber den USB-C Anschluss untersttzt der XM4 leider nicht.

Das Noise Cancelling ist mit eines der besten, welches ich bisher testen konnte. Auch kann man die Umgebungsgerusche einschalten, so dass man mehr von seiner Umwelt mitbekommt. Hier finde ich aber, dass zB die Apple AirPods Pro etwas besser performen.
Wirklich praktisch finde ich die Speak-to-Chat Funktion. Der Kopfhrer erkennt die eigene Stimme, und das relativ zuverlssig, und unterbricht die Wiedergabe. Auch die Trageerkennung ist einfach genial, man kennt dies zB auch wieder von den AirPods. Man nimmt den KH ab und die Wiedergabe stoppt automatisch. Beim Aufsetzen wird wieder an der vorherigen Stelle fortgesetzt.
Im Alltag hat sich fr mich auch die Touch-Bedienung als echtes Super-Feature heraus gestellt. Anfangs war ich skeptisch, aber mit der ersten Verwendung war die Skepsis schon dahin. Das Touchpad arbeitet genau und es kommt fast zu keinen Fehleingaben. Knpfe gibt es nur fr EIN/AUS und die Einstellung des ANC.
Ebenfalls sinnvoll fr den Alltag ist das Hardcase fr den KH. Das ist super verarbeitet und bietet, trotz kompakter Gre, fr alles seinen Platz. Smtliches mitgeliefertes Zubehr kann darin aufbewahrt werden. Und vor allem ist der Kopfhrer im Rucksack oder der Reisetasche vor Beschdigungen geschtzt.
Aber wie klingt der XM4?
Super, einfach genial was SONY hier geleistet hat. Der Kopfhrer klingt auch bei geringer Lautstrke sehr gut und mit steigendem Pegel werden auch die Bsse und Mitten immer prgnanter, aber nie zu derb. Auch kann man ber den EQ in der App noch einiges aus dem KH heraus kitzeln. Hier macht sich meiner Meinung nach der veranschlagte Preis am meisten bemerkbar. Du bekommst was du bezahlst, das ist wirklich so.
Auch bei lngerem Tragen wird der XM4 nie unangenehm. Er ist relativ leicht und der Anpressdruck der Ohrmuscheln ist sehr leicht. Dennoch sitzt der Hrer sicher auf dem Kopf.
Also? Fr mich bietet dieser Kopfhrer ein gutes Gesamtpaket zu einem fairen Preis. Wer Wert auf guten Klang und ein qualitativ hochwertiges Package legt, ist beim SONY WH-1000XM4 durchaus gut aufgehoben.

die Kopfhrer sind schn leicht, einfach in der Bedienung und sehen optisch sehr gut aus. Einziges Manko bei mir ist die Bluetooth Verbindung mit meinem Samsung Fernseher, hier ist oft ein Rauschen/leichtes knarren zu hre
1A Noise Cancelling Kopfhöre
Vor diesen Kopfhrern hatte ich ein kabelgebundenes Modell von Bose.
Nun bin ich auf dieses Modell umgestiegen: Ich bin begeistert.
Im Flugzeug verschwinden die Hintergrundgerusche fast komplett, die Kopfhrer sitzen extrem angenehm auf dem Kopf und sind gut individuell einstellbar. Der Akku hlt sehr lange und die Bluetooth-Funktion ist Gold wert. Wenn man die Bluetooth-Funktion einmal nicht nutzen mchte, kann auch das Kabel verwendet werden.

Ahora bien, si lo que buscas son auriculares de calidad de sonido EXCELENTE para su uso con tus dispositivos mviles (especialmente Apple) y que sea portable, son de los mejores auriculares que he probado recientemente (8, de este rango de precios).
Si lo buscas para gaming, o para estar conectado tanto a un ordenador como a un mvil, y cambiar fcilmente de un canal a otro, mejor busca otras alternativas.

I had the WH-1000XM2 and decided to upgrade to the WH-1000XM4. The noise canceling on this pair seems worse and the padding on the ears doesn't keep out much sound from the outside world. I feel like this was a huge downgrade in quality. I think the sound quality is still amazing though, it's just that I now hear a lot of things going on around me that I didn't with the older model.

Il est tout simple parfait. Agrable porter, le son est gnial, je peux le coupler avec 2 sources diffrentes aussi bien ordinateur que tlphone que tablette. Je l’utilise essentiellement pour couter de la musique en travaillant et pour faire les runions en Teams. Mme sans activer le rducteur de bruits les sons environnant de mes collgues sont peine perceptible. J’ai dj en intra auriculaires les Sony WF-1000XM3 dont je suis contente et dont je me sais lors de mes dplacements en train (petits transporter) et je ne peux que vivement recommander ces produits de chez Sony. Ils sont top. Ils atteignent la qualit de mes Shure SE 215 qui ne sont malheureusement pas Wireless mais qui ont un son et une ergonomie professionnels.

Hatte davor schon die Bose QC25, QC35, Bose 700 Sony WH-1000XM2 und XM3 (also Vorgnger) und finde die neue Sony Generation wirklich wahnsinnig gut!
Noise Canceling funktiniert top, Sound ist gut (etwas basslastig, kann man aber regeln) und die Gesten funktionieren gut. Einzig die App knnte bersichtlicher sein und einmal berarbeitet werden. Trotzdem 5 Sterne!

First day impression was not good but as lot reviewers suggested to wait for sometime and play with custom settings and try to find the suitable settings for you and the it will be far good experience you will have. Now i am used to these headphones and they are best one in market.

Sehr guter Kopfhörer...
Ich bereue es nicht, den Sony WH-1000XM4 gekauft zu haben. Ein hervorragendes und alltagstaugliches Gesamtpaket – wobei er den Klang meines Marshall Monitor Bluetooth nicht bertrifft und sich diesem sogar auf meinen Ohren bei so manchem Musikstck geschlagen geben muss. Aber das ist Geschmackssache – Klang ist immer eine sehr subjektive Geschichte.
Meine nun dauerhaft notwendig notwendig gewordene Brille und der Marshall sind sich beim Tragekomfort leider nicht immer so richtig grn. Das und der Umstand, dass ich bei Fahrten mit ffentlichen Verkehrsmiteln ANC schtzen gelernt habe, kombiniert mit dem 240 -Angebot auf Amazon, haben mich dazu bewogen, den WH-1000XM4 zu bestellen. Zuvor hatte ich es mit dem Teufel Supreme On versucht; weil viele Brillentrger OnEars empfehlen. Keine Ahnung, was die fr Ohren bzw. Brillen haben – bei ging das leider gar nicht.
+ Der WH-1000XM4 vertrgt sich recht lang ganz gut mit der Brille. Die Ohrmuscheln sind ausreichend gro, dass sie die Ohren gut mit sehr weichen Ohrpolstern umschlieen (hier drfte z.B. der Marshall Monitor ruhig ein paar Milimeter mehr haben!)
+ sehr guter Tragekomfort. Wobei einfach jeder OverEar mit den obligatorischen Kunstlederplstern irgendwann jeden Kopf zum Schwitzen bringt. Hier wrde ich mir manchmal – vor allem fr zu Hause – einen Austauschsatz mit Stoffpolstern wnschen. Auch wenn dadurch die Abschirmung schlechter wird.
+ Knarzt beim Tragen trotz Faltmglichkeiten zum Glck sehr wenig.
+++ sehr gute, stabile Bluetooth-Verbindung zu meinem Thinkpad, dem Oneplus 8T und dem Surface Pro (maximal immer 2 Gerte auf einmal)
+ Er hat wirklich einen guten Klang fr jede Art Musik:-).
+++ das ANC ist herausragend gut!
++ die individuellen Steuerungsmglichkeiten (Gesten, Stimme, Situationen, Touch) die wirklich alle hervorragend funktionieren, sind einfach top.
++ die App bietet klasse Mglichkeiten zur Personalisierung – incl. Equilizer und stufenweisem ANC.
Fazit: ein hervorragendes Gesamtpaket, dass fr den Blackweek-Preis von 240 seinen Preis allemal wert ist. Fr den Listenpreis von 379 htte ich den WH-1000XM4 nicht genommen. In der Preisliga htte ich auch mehr Ansprche an die Materialien gestellt. Die sind beim WH-1000XM4 zwar in sicherlich mattem wertigem Kunststoff gehalten (in der von mir gewhlten blauen Variante auch anfllig fr Fingerabdrcke und Schwei), aber z.B. dem von mir erwhnten Marshall Monitor Bluetooth bei Weitem unterlegen. Der Marshall sieht einfach wertiger aus und bietet eine wesentlich bessere Haptik – obgleich er gnstiger ist (ich habe nur die Version des Monitor ohne ANC). Der kann auch beim Klang locker mithalten, unterliegt allerdings den technischen Mglichkeiten des Sony WH-1000XM4 und kommt gegen das Sony-Gesamtkonzept nicht an.
Ich wrde mir die technischen Mglichkeiten des Sony in den Materialien des Marshall wnschen und ein bisschen mehr vom lebendigen charakteristischen Marshall-Klang … da das nicht geht, freue ich mich ber beide.
Meine klare Kaufempfehlung fr den Sony – wenn maximal 250 aufgerufen werden.
Sehr guter Kopfhörer...
Ich bereue es nicht, den Sony WH-1000XM4 gekauft zu haben. Ein hervorragendes und alltagstaugliches Gesamtpaket – wobei er den Klang meines Marshall Monitor Bluetooth nicht bertrifft und sich diesem sogar auf meinen Ohren bei so manchem Musikstck geschlagen geben muss. Aber das ist Geschmackssache – Klang ist immer eine sehr subjektive Geschichte.
Meine nun dauerhaft notwendig notwendig gewordene Brille und der Marshall sind sich beim Tragekomfort leider nicht immer so richtig grn. Das und der Umstand, dass ich bei Fahrten mit ffentlichen Verkehrsmiteln ANC schtzen gelernt habe, kombiniert mit dem 240 -Angebot auf Amazon, haben mich dazu bewogen, den WH-1000XM4 zu bestellen. Zuvor hatte ich es mit dem Teufel Supreme On versucht; weil viele Brillentrger OnEars empfehlen. Keine Ahnung, was die fr Ohren bzw. Brillen haben – bei ging das leider gar nicht.
+ Der WH-1000XM4 vertrgt sich recht lang ganz gut mit der Brille. Die Ohrmuscheln sind ausreichend gro, dass sie die Ohren gut mit sehr weichen Ohrpolstern umschlieen (hier drfte z.B. der Marshall Monitor ruhig ein paar Milimeter mehr haben!)
+ sehr guter Tragekomfort. Wobei einfach jeder OverEar mit den obligatorischen Kunstlederplstern irgendwann jeden Kopf zum Schwitzen bringt. Hier wrde ich mir manchmal – vor allem fr zu Hause – einen Austauschsatz mit Stoffpolstern wnschen. Auch wenn dadurch die Abschirmung schlechter wird.
+ Knarzt beim Tragen trotz Faltmglichkeiten zum Glck sehr wenig.
+++ sehr gute, stabile Bluetooth-Verbindung zu meinem Thinkpad, dem Oneplus 8T und dem Surface Pro (maximal immer 2 Gerte auf einmal)
+ Er hat wirklich einen guten Klang fr jede Art Musik:-).
+++ das ANC ist herausragend gut!
++ die individuellen Steuerungsmglichkeiten (Gesten, Stimme, Situationen, Touch) die wirklich alle hervorragend funktionieren, sind einfach top.
++ die App bietet klasse Mglichkeiten zur Personalisierung – incl. Equilizer und stufenweisem ANC.
Fazit: ein hervorragendes Gesamtpaket, dass fr den Blackweek-Preis von 240 seinen Preis allemal wert ist. Fr den Listenpreis von 379 htte ich den WH-1000XM4 nicht genommen. In der Preisliga htte ich auch mehr Ansprche an die Materialien gestellt. Die sind beim WH-1000XM4 zwar in sicherlich mattem wertigem Kunststoff gehalten (in der von mir gewhlten blauen Variante auch anfllig fr Fingerabdrcke und Schwei), aber z.B. dem von mir erwhnten Marshall Monitor Bluetooth bei Weitem unterlegen. Der Marshall sieht einfach wertiger aus und bietet eine wesentlich bessere Haptik – obgleich er gnstiger ist (ich habe nur die Version des Monitor ohne ANC). Der kann auch beim Klang locker mithalten, unterliegt allerdings den technischen Mglichkeiten des Sony WH-1000XM4 und kommt gegen das Sony-Gesamtkonzept nicht an.

sie werden geliefert mit einem zustzlichen case, was sehr praktisch ist, um die kopfhrer zu transportieren. sie haben zwar einen sehr stolzen preis, aber fr das sounderlebnis ist mit jedes geld wert. hoffe, dass sie auch lange halten, falls nicht, werde ich diese bewertung updaten und euch auf den laufenden halten.
nach einem monat nutzung bin ich auf jeden fall noch sehr zufrieden.

I work from home. The room and the door don’t have very good noise isolation properties. I thought getting a good ANC headset surely is cheaper than soundproofing the room, and it definitely is.
To concentrate on work, I need silence from the continuous chatter, yelling, talking, crying, arguing, laughing that my kids produce when they are home sick or in quarantine.
I was expecting close to total silence from ANC. When I turn on music, it’s better. Then I can’t hear almost anything happening outside of the headset.

Die Kopfhrer sind der Hammer ich hatte noch nie so gute Kopfhrer. Der einzige Nachteil ist das man die Kopfhrer nur ber Bluetooth als Headset benutzen kann, da die Klinkenbuchse keinen Kontakt fr ein Mikrofon output hat. Das finde ich fr den Preis echt schade. Aber zum Musik hren sind die echt gut. Meiner Meinung nach sind nur so genannte Referenzkopfhrer besser. Diese sind aber sehr teuer und eigentlich fr Medienproduktion ausgelegt. Zum konsumieren sind aber die Sony angenehmer.

Really lightweight and comfortable
I got the blue version of this headset. I previously had the XM2, so the improvements were pretty significant for me. I was mainly interested in the USB-C charging. It takes under 20 minutes to get a good charge and that can last for half a day if not longer.
The other feature that impressed me was the overall weight. It’s pretty light and it doesn’t press on my ears as hard as my previous headset. After a while I sort of forget about it.
I should also mention the pause functionality. Whenever I remove my headset it detects this and pauses whatever I am listening or watching. I was surprised that it would pause Youtube videos for me. Some might consider this a negative, but I think it’s a neat feature.
Overall I love this headset. It was well worth the money.

Personnalisation de ces clear Bass pour correspondre mes besoins (j’ai rduit -2).
Je l’ai utilis 40 heures avant de devoir le recharger.
Mark 3 had better codecs, and for me a more comfortable calsp on my skull. Cushions seem a bit less comfortable. Do love the colour though, and de deep bass. Switching between android and Windows is till not optimal. Would love just a simple hardware toggle for that. We'll see.

Excellent sound quality but has its quirks
Got the blue color. Not a big fan of the physical design. Out of the box sound signature is exciting and enjoyable. One can tweak the sound to one’s taste using the companion app (preset equaliser modes or custom eq).
The ability to connect to two devices at the same time works very well. However, while connected to my Mac and iPhone, at times, the Bluetooth disconnects on my Mac. Reconnecting usually fixes the issue.
Noise cancellation is very good, but ambient sound control is not as natural as what one experiences on the Apple AirPods Pro.
Fit and comfort is great and the ear cups feel premium and resilient. The carrying case is well made and convenient.
Overall, very happy with the purchase and would recommend a pair if you are looking for over the ear BT headphones.

In crowded room it could pose a problem, but then again, I’ve bought these for noise cancellation and the sound, not for the mic.

Bad things are:
– the blue color coating (i have black ones as well, and in my opinion, they’re far better),
which is not as smooth under the finger, thus when you accidentaly “scratch” the earphone against each other, or when you put the on top of your laptop, the noise they make is not comforting (you have a feeling you’re gonna scratch the surface of the other item or the headphones themself).
– connection and mic quality, which is variadic as you distance yourself to another room or so. Don’t know if that’s because of the walls etc. but a distance of 3m from the laptop/mobile shouldn’t pose a problem, at least, one would think.

Kann mit Kabel wie ein normaler Kopfhrer verwendet werden.
Eine Stolperfalle, ber die ich auch gestolpert bin: Die beiliegende Bedienungsanleitung ist in zig Sprachen auf dem blichen Poster beigefgt, dass man sicher die relevanten Informationen nicht findet.
Die “Speak to Chat”-Funktion, die ich versehentlich aktiviert habe, hat mich fast zur Verzweiflung gebracht, da ich nicht wusste, warum das Ding aus ging, wenn ich selber redete: Mit zwei Fingern rechts das Bedienfeld berhren und die Ansage abwarten…

Für Ruhe im stressigen Alltag
Der Sony-Kopfhrer war der vierte, den ich auf der Suche nach einem guten Noise Cancelling-Kopfhrer ausprobiert habe. Vorher waren es vor allem In-Ear-Kopfhrer von Bose, Beats und Apple, die aber alle den Nachteil hatten, nach kurzer Zeit nicht mehr richtig zu sitzen.
Deshalb dann doch der Griff zu den over-ear-Kopfhrern von Sony, zumal diese grad in einem Angebot waren.
Bisher bin ich sowohl mit der Qualitt des Noise-Cancelling (das Hauptkriterium fr meinen Kauf) als auch mit der Qualitt der musikalischen Wiedergabe sehr zufrieden.
Wenn man in der hektischen Grostadt mal abschalten mchte, reicht es, die Kopfhrer einzuschalten und der Umgebungslrm sinkt auf ein sehr ertrgliches Ma.
Da ich mit den Kopfhrern ausschlielich Musik hre, kann ich keine Aussagen zur Qualitt von Telefonaten treffen, aber da gibt es zu diesem Gert andere und detaillierte Rezensionen.
Fr mich hat sich der Kauf definitiv gelohnt, ich kann diese Kopfhrer nur wrmstens empfehlen.

On the right ear something has broke off so anything slightly base makes it vibrate and make this annoying plastic kids toy like sound. And I do mean any base so nearly every song or voice makes it happen. Kind of disappointing but everything else about them is good.

Gute Kopfhöre
Ich habe diese Kopfhrer gekauft weil sie in mehreren Tests als sehr gut bewertet wurden. So viele Vergleiche habe ich natrlich nicht, dennoch gefallen mir die Kopfhrer recht gut. Bass ist fein, Gerusche kommen jedoch manchmal berhaupt nicht durch, manchmal doch, habe noch nicht herausgefunden warum 😉

XM3 vs XM4, Je nach Anforderungen lohneswe
Ich bin im Besitz der MX3-Variante und hatte viel hin und her berlegt, ob ich mir das neue Modell holen oder doch dieses “facelift-model” berspringen soll. Ich habe den Kauf nicht bereut, das XM4 enthlt einige Funktionen die mir beim MX3 gefehlt haben:
-Zwei Bluetooth verbindungen gleichzeitig und automatischer Wechsel, wenn das aktuelle keine Ton spiel, dass andere schon und irgendwo ein Anruf eingeht, sowie die automatische Verbindung der letzten zwei Gerte beim Einschalten.
-Pausierung bei der Abnahme der Kopfhrer, so banal es klingt, es ist unfassbar angenehm.
-Automatisches abschalten der Kopfhrer, sofern man diese nicht auf hat. Wie oft ist es passiert, dass die XM3 ber einen halben Tag hinweg sich leergesaugt haben, weil man vergessen hatte Sie auszuschalten.
-Der Klang ist hrbar besser, klarer.
– Bezlg. des Noise Canceling ist subjektiv kein Unterschied feststellbar, jedoch nachwievor top.
-Schnelleres Laden
-Ladung hlt lnger, wegen des effizienten pausieren und abschaltens.
Im Grunde kommt es mir so vor, als ob die XM3 unvollstndig und die XM4 vollstndig im Funktionsumfang sind. Natrlich ist es so, dass wenn man 2x BtV nicht nutzt zu den XM3 greifen sollten. Wenn man aber den Tag vor PC UND Handy verbringt, sollte man zu Letzterem tendieren.
Superbe cuffie ANC, ancora leader di categoria
La serie WH1000 di Sony rappresenta da sempre la punta di diamante delle loro cuffie prosumer: costano un rene, sono tutto fuorch discrete e non sono adatte a chi spera semplicemente di inforcarle senza sapere cosa sta facendo. Rispetto alle sorelle minori XM3, le XM4 aggiungono al piatto una cancellazione attiva del rumore (ANC) bi-microfono, una batteria lievemente pi capiente e la carica rapida dalla porta USB-C.
A livello di comfort, parliamo di cuffie over-ear di una certa importanza: si sentono, sia sulla testa sia attorno alle orecchie, e la cosa d’estate tende a dare lievemente fastidio. Dopo appena qualche giorno ci si adatta, godendo dell’isolamento acustico e della sicurezza con cui si appoggiano sulla testa.
Parlando di cancellazione del rumore, non facile intuire perch siano il miglior prodotto sul mercato: filtrano qualsiasi cosa. La configurazione standard, con ANC al massimo, rende i padiglioni dei veri e propri tappi per le orecchie, filtrando suoni ambientali e persino la propria voce. Non proprio una bella sensazione, ma fortunatamente i controlli via app sono estremamente granulari, permettendo di personalizzare la funzione per localit, attivit o semplicemente gusto personale.
Ovviamente il comparto wireless interamente lossless (se avete una sorgente adatta, quindi controllate lo standard Bluetooth e la versione Android del vostro cellulare, o le specifiche del vostro amplificatore/home theater), con un suono out-of-the-box bilanciato ma un p piatto, e carente nei bassi. D’obbligo configurare il soundstage tramite l’applicazione per adattare il cono d’uscita alla forma delle vostre orecchie (si, siamo a questi livelli) e poi sbizzarrirsi con gli equalizzatori.
Come detto, non un prodotto adatto a chi ascolta MP3 tarocchi o ci ascolta l’audio di Rai 1.
Un ultimo avvertimento: sono costose, sono efficienti, ma sono pur sempre prosumer. Superbe cuffie ANC, ancora leader di categoria
La serie WH1000 di Sony rappresenta da sempre la punta di diamante delle loro cuffie prosumer: costano un rene, sono tutto fuorch discrete e non sono adatte a chi spera semplicemente di inforcarle senza sapere cosa sta facendo. Rispetto alle sorelle minori XM3, le XM4 aggiungono al piatto una cancellazione attiva del rumore (ANC) bi-microfono, una batteria lievemente pi capiente e la carica rapida dalla porta USB-C.
A livello di comfort, parliamo di cuffie over-ear di una certa importanza: si sentono, sia sulla testa sia attorno alle orecchie, e la cosa d’estate tende a dare lievemente fastidio. Dopo appena qualche giorno ci si adatta, godendo dell’isolamento acustico e della sicurezza con cui si appoggiano sulla testa.
Parlando di cancellazione del rumore, non facile intuire perch siano il miglior prodotto sul mercato: filtrano qualsiasi cosa. La configurazione standard, con ANC al massimo, rende i padiglioni dei veri e propri tappi per le orecchie, filtrando suoni ambientali e persino la propria voce. Non proprio una bella sensazione, ma fortunatamente i controlli via app sono estremamente granulari, permettendo di personalizzare la funzione per localit, attivit o semplicemente gusto personale.
Ovviamente il comparto wireless interamente lossless (se avete una sorgente adatta, quindi controllate lo standard Bluetooth e la versione Android del vostro cellulare, o le specifiche del vostro amplificatore/home theater), con un suono out-of-the-box bilanciato ma un p piatto, e carente nei bassi. D’obbligo configurare il soundstage tramite l’applicazione per adattare il cono d’uscita alla forma delle vostre orecchie (si, siamo a questi livelli) e poi sbizzarrirsi con gli equalizzatori.
Come detto, non un prodotto adatto a chi ascolta MP3 tarocchi o ci ascolta l’audio di Rai 1.
Un ultimo avvertimento: sono costose, sono efficienti, ma sono pur sempre prosumer. XM3 vs XM4, Je nach Anforderungen lohneswe
Ich bin im Besitz der MX3-Variante und hatte viel hin und her berlegt, ob ich mir das neue Modell holen oder doch dieses “facelift-model” berspringen soll. Ich habe den Kauf nicht bereut, das XM4 enthlt einige Funktionen die mir beim MX3 gefehlt haben:
-Zwei Bluetooth verbindungen gleichzeitig und automatischer Wechsel, wenn das aktuelle keine Ton spiel, dass andere schon und irgendwo ein Anruf eingeht, sowie die automatische Verbindung der letzten zwei Gerte beim Einschalten.
-Pausierung bei der Abnahme der Kopfhrer, so banal es klingt, es ist unfassbar angenehm.
-Automatisches abschalten der Kopfhrer, sofern man diese nicht auf hat. Wie oft ist es passiert, dass die XM3 ber einen halben Tag hinweg sich leergesaugt haben, weil man vergessen hatte Sie auszuschalten.
-Der Klang ist hrbar besser, klarer.
– Bezlg. des Noise Canceling ist subjektiv kein Unterschied feststellbar, jedoch nachwievor top.
-Schnelleres Laden
-Ladung hlt lnger, wegen des effizienten pausieren und abschaltens.
Im Grunde kommt es mir so vor, als ob die XM3 unvollstndig und die XM4 vollstndig im Funktionsumfang sind. Natrlich ist es so, dass wenn man 2x BtV nicht nutzt zu den XM3 greifen sollten. Wenn man aber den Tag vor PC UND Handy verbringt, sollte man zu Letzterem tendieren.

These have caused me no pain, even after 8 hours. They truly do work for 30 hours with ANC on. The sound clarity is absurd, for the price. If you need some Bluetooth headphones, or are debating between these or the AirPods Pros, it is without a doubt these headphones. Highly recommend.

Gutes Gerät aber kaum Unterschiede zum Vorgängermodell
Hatte bereits den Sony WH-1000XM3 und hab zum Black Friday zugeschlagen und den Nachfolger geholt.

Je recommande vivement !

Noise cancelling is amazing. Soft comfortable head band and ear cups. Expensive but top quality. Simple app to manage settings. Nice blue colour as well.

The XM3’s where the class leaders of the time and stood on the top pedestal since they were released and rightly so. The XM4’s are just next level, keeping the near perfect foundations of the XM3’s and improving and adding genuinely useful features in the process like auto pause of the media when you speak or remove the headphones from your head. they supremely comfy and outclass others like bose and apple for quality both in sound, ergonomics and build. Class leading battery life and full customisation through the genuinely good Sony headphones app makes them suitable for anyone. The best feature the XM4’s have over the XM3’s is the ability to have two bluetooth devices connected to the headphones. This alone is worth it over the XM3’s. I have my laptop and phone connected and it works seamlessly. I’ve been so impressed with these I’d recommend them to anyone and worth every penny.
ps. if you can get the midnight blue colour its absolutely stunning.

Haca tiempo que estaba pensando en comprar unos auriculares con cancelacin de ruido ya que el sonido de fondo de trfico y ruidos de la calle me molesta excesivamente. Solo digo que tendra que haberlos comprado mucho antes. Te los pones y entras en un silencio total. Adems la calidad del sonido es impecable. Son caros s, pero valen cada euro
Good impression after months of use
I bought it as a replacement of B&W PX7, which I was used for a year. I’m using Sony 4 months already. Since the price for both items is almost the same, I think it worth comparing.
TL;DR: I’m satisfied with Sonys just like I was satisfied with BW. Headphones has major diffirences, but general satisfaction is more or less the same (good) for both.
What I like in Sony:
– it is much lighter
– it is smaller
– app is much better, and head phones has more smart functions (I especially like speech detection and walk detection which turns noize cancelling off)
– I didn’t compare noize cancelling directly, but Sony feels a bit better.
What I don’t like in Sony
– You can’t listen to music via BT (don’t know about audio cable) while charging, and this is a shame
– I liked in B&W that if you connect it with cable to PC it works as a standard sound device and charging at the same time
– If you have Sony connected to two devices, it’s possible to listen to music only from one of it. If you need it from other device, you must disconnect second device or do something with settings. B&W just starts playing music from other device after first stops playing. For me it was usefull: with B&W I was listening to music from PC and was able to listen audio messages from my phone at the same time).
– With B&W my ears never touched ear pads, with Sony I feel it. Not a big issue tho.
– B&W materials looks more “premium” and solid, but I have no issues with Sony (no scratches, scuffs etc)
– I would like to have hardware buttons instead of swipe experience at least for volume. Trust me, it’s a pain to increase or decrease the volume fore more than 1-2 steps.

Without changing the TV’s sound output the sound skips/judders randomly, making these headphones unusable with Samsung TVs. Once the TV sound output has been changed, these are amazing headphones.

For those who want to dig out the mids and highs, u have to set ur own equaliser manually. For those who are unable to set the equaliser manually, the preset “bright” in the Sony app will take u somewhere closer.
Now moving to the plus points, ANC is awesome. It will take u to another world, a world of music and music only. Also the convenience of the touch pad of right ear cup. All the gestures are working very fine for me. Battery life is the best u can get. U also get a very good durable carry case.
Finally if u r so much concerned about the sound quality and only sound quality is ur preference, it’s may not be the one for u. But u are also interested in the convenience of a Bluetooth and need ANC then this is the best u can get out of a Bluetooth headphone. If u r not an audiophile, u may not be able to notice the dip in sound quality.

Headphone is overall good in its features etc, like dual connect, speak to talk, etc.. sound is also good and ANC is fine as well. Can’t compare as my first ANC headphone. It felt slightly heavy initially but it’s quite comfortable… yes it gives little irritation on right ear sometimes… Sound quality is nice…

2) [Issue Fixed] iPhone13 compatibility issue, fails to pick the ring and because of that I missed so many calls. This defies the very purpose of it.
3) Worth a mention that Sony customer care reverted immediately and tested and verified that iPhones don’t have issue… + 1*.

Der Klang ist ein wenig dunkel und die Musik wird mig aufgelst. Besonders krass wird es beim Benutzen des Kabels; geht gar nicht. Ich nutze den Hrer deshalb nur mit ANC ohne Musikzuspielung als Gehrschutz.

– The sound is really good.
– I like the Noise Cancellation (ANC) but I wish it would have been better, but in most cases, it will get the job done. If you’re sitting in a noisy place it will help to reduce down the background noise considerably but not completely.
– Being able to connect to two devices is just awesome and switching between the both is simple.
– The charging cable is really short, so if you have any other USB C to USB A please use that.
– Attending calls via headphone has been good, haven’t faced any issue as such.

These headphones more than lived up to expectations. Comfy, easy to use and great noise cancellation. These have made a real difference to my working from home experience. Listening to music is also a real pleasure with them.

Firstly: No hissing sound when ANC is on (as some users were complaining in their reviews). I would say they must have gotten defect product because Mine are working flawlessly.
Secondly: They sound great, I love Heavy bass which you can get with these, especially after adjusting the EQ setting to your liking in Sony’s app).
These also supports LDAC codec (but only on android) and Multi-pairing as well (but you loose LDAC in this case).
Sony’s headphone app has lot of customisation features for these earphones: From ambient mode to touch pad controls, to 360 degree audio and what not. It’s definitely fun to fiddle around with the controls there.
Also I love the proximity sensor which detects when you take them off and automatically pauses the music and as soon as you put them on again music continues from where you left off. Very neat and handy feature indeed!
Battery lasts at least 20-22 hours minimum, so it’s very good (plus usb-c charging is a big plus).
The provided case is very compact and high quality as well.
Headphones themselves are very lightweight, so no issues regarding comfort (ear cup padding is soft as well).
Just a small detail I noticed on the box: these are Made in Malaysia and not in China (you don’t see this often)!
Overall I like these, definitely very expensive for a pair of headphones, but I have also tried cheaper options (under 10k range) and I have come to realise that these are worth it. They should last you at least a decade if not more as my earlier sony’s (which I still use to this day, occasionally)!
Cons:
1) Price is very high
2) No IP Rating (not recommended for workouts)
3) Mic can be improved (not recommend for prolonged calling)
4) Ambient mode sounds artificial and robotic (needs refinement)
5) Touch sensitive controls can be activated accidentally as well (physical buttons would have been better).
6) Some people are getting defect products and complaining about hissing sound when ANC is ON. My pairs are okay but it’s upon individual’s luck I believe, so do keep this in mind.

Also I love the proximity sensor which detects when you take them off and automatically pauses the music and as soon as you put them on again music continues from where you left off. Very neat and handy feature indeed!
Battery lasts at least 20-22 hours minimum, so it’s very good (plus usb-c charging is a big plus).
The provided case is very compact and high quality as well.
Headphones themselves are very lightweight, so no issues regarding comfort (ear cup padding is soft as well).
Just a small detail I noticed on the box: these are Made in Malaysia and not in China (you don’t see this often)!
Overall I like these, definitely very expensive for a pair of headphones, but I have also tried cheaper options (under 10k range) and I have come to realise that these are worth it. They should last you at least a decade if not more as my earlier sony’s (which I still use to this day, occasionally)!
Cons:
1) Price is very high
2) No IP Rating (not recommended for workouts)
3) Mic can be improved (not recommend for prolonged calling)
4) Ambient mode sounds artificial and robotic (needs refinement)
5) Touch sensitive controls can be activated accidentally as well (physical buttons would have been better).
6) Some people are getting defect products and complaining about hissing sound when ANC is ON. My pairs are okay but it’s upon individual’s luck I believe, so do keep this in mind.

Zugegeben: Ich bin ein Kopfhrer-Nerd und besitze bereits viele aktuelle Bluetooth-Kopfhrer (schade, dass man nur einen Kopf mit einem Paar Ohren hat): Beyerdynamic Amiron Wireless, Beyerdynamic Lagoon ANC, Bose QuietComfort 35 II und Soundcore Q35 (diverse TWS-Ohrstpsel, die auch erstaunlich gut sind, lasse ich hierbei mal weg und konzentriere mich auf die Over-Ears). Nun konnte ich dem Amazon-Angebot nicht mehr widerstehen, so dass nun auch noch der Sony WH-1000XM4 (in der sehr schicken Farbe Midnight-Blue) hinzugekommen ist. Mein erster Sony-Kopfhrer berhaupt!
Wer sich fr Bluetooth-Kopfhrer interessiert, wird die oben genannten Konkurrenz-Modelle zumindest dem Namen nach alle kennen und auch wissen, dass sie eine enorme Preisspanne (von ca. 80 bis 550 Euro) abdecken und unterschiedlich ausgestattet sind. Ich will hier keinen vollstndigen Vergleich durchfhren, aber zur subjektiven Einordnung des Sonys taugt die Sammlung dann doch irgendwie ganz gut. Wer brigens zu Bose, Soundcore und Lagoon ANC detailliertere Betrachtungen wnscht, kann sich gern meine diesbezglichen Rezensionen ansehen.
Grundstzliches zu den Codecs:
– LDAC ist der modernste Codec (bis zu 990 kBit/s, 24 bit, 96 kHz), bietet also theoretisch die beste Soundqualitt. Eine Vielzahl neuerer Android-Smartphones untersttzt ihn, Apples iOS jedoch nicht.
– Ebenfalls hohes Qualittspotential bieten aptX-HD (bis zu 576 kbit/s, 24 Bit, 48 kHz), aptX-LL (mit Schwerpunkt auf geringe Latenz) und aptX (bis zu 384 kbit/s, 16 Bit, 48 kHz). Android-Handys mit Qualcomm-Chips untersttzen i.d.R. aptX (oft aber nicht die HD- oder LL-Variante), Apple wiederum nicht.
– AAC ist in der Theorie (mit bis zu 320 kBit/s, 24 Bit, 96 kHz) ein hervorragender Codec, aber nur auf Apple-Gerten auch sehr gut eingebunden und auf diesen daher der Codec der Wahl. Auf Android-Gerten schwankt die erreichbare Qualitt je nach Implementierung und Zielprioritten der Hersteller. Im Extremfall kann AAC eine schlechtere Qualitt als SBC abliefern. Meinem Samsung Galaxy A52 5G wrde ich jedoch eine mindestens gute Performance mit AAC bescheinigen.
– SBC ist der “Methusalem” unter den Bluetooth-Codecs (bis zu 328 kbit/s, 16 Bit, 48 kHz). Gut: Jedes Gert mit A2DP-Profil untersttzt ihn. Schlecht: Er leidet unter diversen Problemen, und die Qualitt schwankt extrem (wie bei AAC auf Android), abhngig von der Implementierung. Im Regelfall ist einer der anderen Codecs zu bevorzugen.
– Grundstzlich ist das Thema “Bluetooth-Codecs” komplexer, als ich es hier mit wenigen Worten darstellen kann. Bei Interesse findet man dazu interessante Artikel im Netz.
– In der Praxis fllt es zumindest “Normalhrern” sehr oft schwer, berhaupt einen Unterschied zwischen den Codecs auszumachen. Das setzt nmlich einen hochwertigen Kopfhrer sowie hochwertig produziertes und codiertes Musikmaterial voraus. Wer jedoch nicht “normal” hrt, weil er z.B. (wissentlich oder unwissentlich) einen “Gehrfehler” hat, kann hufig die Kompressionsartefakte der Codecs als strend wahrnehmen, so dass er von hherwertigen Codecs (mit hherer Bitrate oder hherem Rechenaufwand) besonders profitiert.
Hier mal in Krze die Ausstattungs-Highlights der einzelnen Hrer (die Standard-Bluetooth-Codecs SBC und AAC werden von allen Hrern untersttzt und sind daher nicht aufgefhrt):
– Amiron: aptX, aptX-HD, aptX-LL, individuelle Einmessung ber App (aber kein ANC).
– Lagoon: aptX, individuelle Einmessung ber App, ANC.
– Bose: ANC (sonst keine besonderen Features).
– Sony: LDAC, ANC, Transparenzmodus.
– Soundcore: LDAC, ANC, Transparenzmodus.
So, betrachten wir den Sony WH-1000XM4 erst mal weitgehend solo:
Der erste Eindruck ist hervorragend.
Die Qualittsanmutung entspricht der gehobenen Preisklasse.
Das Material fhlt sich hochwertig und stabil an.
Der Sitz auf dem Kopf ist sehr bequem (dem Bose gleichrangig, wrde ich sagen), und das auch ber lngere Zeit. Kein Problem mit Brille. Auch fr grere Kpfe geeignet (ich habe 60 cm Kopfdurchmesser und habe auf jeder Bgelseite noch eine Stufe Reserve).
Die Bedienung per Touch klappt auf Anhieb intuitiv und problemlos.
Der Klang ist “out of the box”, d.h. auch ohne individuelle Einmessung (die hier ja eh nicht zur Verfgung steht) und ohne Equalizer-Einstellungen, mit jeder Musikrichtung hervorragend. Klar und lebendig, ohne in den Hhen oder im Bass zu aufdringlich zu werden. Tolle Stimmwiedergabe. Fr einen geschlossenen Kopfhrer gute rumliche Abbildung. Lediglich bei sehr komplexer Musik scheint der Sony hier und da mal etwas den berblick zu verlieren, so dass es leicht “breiig” werden kann. Das habe ich bei anderen Kopfhrern schon besser gehrt, aber zugegebenermaen waren die auch in einer deutlich hheren Preisklasse angesiedelt, so dass das Jammern auf hohem Niveau ist.
Eine leicht “spaige” Grundabstimmung ist sicher nicht von der Hand zu weisen, vor allem die Tiefen sind recht deutlich betont. Aber das ist okay, da eine solche Abstimmung den Prferenzen der meisten Menschen entgegenkommt. “Dunkel” oder gar “dumpf”, wie manche meinen, finde ich den XM4 deswegen aber nicht. Und das sage ich als jemand, der mit dem “Beyerdynamic-Peak” (Hhenbetonung um 8 kHz herum) aufgewachsen ist. Aber egal: Wer meint, kann aber per Equalizer nachsteuern. Das Gute am XM4 ist, dass dieser dann trotzdem im LDAC-Modus bleibt (der Vorgnger XM3 fiel auf AAC oder gar SBC zurck).
Der Amiron sticht den Sony zwar klanglich noch aus (alles andere wre bei dem knapp doppelt so hohen Preis auch peinlich fr Beyerdynamic), aber viel Abstand ist da, ehrlich gesagt, nicht. Dem Sony fehlt jeweils ein Quntchen Detailauflsung, Rumlichkeit und Przision im Bass, um mit dem Amiron gleichziehen zu knnen. Das ist aber wieder Jammern auf hohem Niveau.
Das ANC des Sony ist jedenfalls Weltklasse! Wird die adaptive Geruschunterdrckung eingeschaltet, ist Ruhe im Bau. Ich meine zwar, ohne Musik noch ein minimales Rauschen wahrzunehmen, aber das kann genauso gut Einbildung oder mein eigenes Blut sein… Wirklich faszinierend! Die Geruschunterdrckung bekommt definitiv keiner der hier betrachteten Konkurrenten so gut hin.
Und dann dieser Transparenzmodus: Anfangs habe ich ihn als Spielerei abgetan, aber hey, dieses Feature ist schon ntzlich: Einfach die ganze Hand ber die rechte Ohrmuschel legen, und ohne groe Verzgerung wird der Musikpegel auf ein Minimum heruntergefahren und der Hrer macht alle Mikrofone auf, so dass man gut wahrnimmt, was “drauen” vor sich geht. Hand wieder weg, schon wird der Transparenzmodus wieder abgeschaltet und der Musikpegel wieder angehoben. Zustzlich aktiviert sich der Transparenzmodus auf Wunsch auch dann, wenn man anfngt zu sprechen (hierbei stoppt die Musik sogar ganz). Funktioniert wirklich berraschend gut. Okay, wer gern mitsingt, der schaltet diese Option besser ab (dann ist man wohl ohnehin allein und braucht sie auch nicht), aber ansonsten ist sie echt zu gebrauchen.
Die passende Sony-App namens “Headphones” erscheint anfangs etwas unbersichtlich, das gibt sich aber schnell. Funktionieren tut sie jedenfalls tadellos (zumindest bei mir auf einem Samsung Galaxy A52 5G mit Android 11).
Die Ohrmuscheln lassen sich drehen und einklappen, so dass ein hnlich kleines Packma wie bei den meisten anderen Kandidaten entsteht (der Amiron fllt hier aus der Reihe). Die Schatulle macht ebenfalls einen guten Eindruck, insbesondere sind Ladekabel, Klinkenkabel und Flugzeugadapter so intelligent integriert, dass sie nicht lose in der Box herumschwirren oder sonstwie im geschlossenen Zustand auf den Kopfhrer Druck ausben knnen.
So, nun zur Einordnung der Kopfhrer in eine persnliche Rangfolge:
Der Amiron bleibt klanglich mein Favorit (auch wenn er maximal aptX-HD untersttzt, das nominell “nur” etwa die halbe Bitrate von LDAC hat). Zudem verfgt er mit aptX-LL als Einziger ber einen nahezu latenzfreien Codec und eignet sich deswegen am besten fr Videos oder auch Gaming (vorausgesetzt, auch die Bluetooth-Quelle untersttzt aptX-LL).
Theoretisch eignen sich alle anderen Kandidaten fr Videos und Gaming weniger, da die von ihnen untersttzten Codecs (auch LDAC) eine deutlich hhere Latenz aufweisen. In der Praxis muss man einfach ausprobieren, ob die Verzgerung fr einen selbst ausreichend gering ist. Beim Sony XM4 stelle ich im LDAC-Modus (Netflix auf Smartphone) nur eine leichte Asynchronitt fest, die so gering ist, dass sie zumindest bei Videos nicht strt. Mit SBC- oder AAC-Codec, der wahrscheinlich beim Pairing mit den allermeisten Fernsehern zum Einsatz kme, kann es wieder ganz anders aussehen, das habe ich bislang nicht ausprobiert.
Dafr haben alle anderen Kandidaten ein kleineres Packma sowie ein mehr oder weniger gutes ANC, das in vielen Umgebungen schon sehr ntzlich ist (zumal auch die passive Abschottung des Amiron eher mau ist).
Gleich hinter dem Amiron kommt der Sony. Sein Klang ist ebenfalls hervorragend und nah dran am Amiron. Zudem verfgt er ber ein sehr wirksames ANC und weitere ntzliche Features. Manch ein Audiophiler wird sich jetzt fragen, ob es sich lohnt, fr das letzte Quntchen Klangqualitt zum Amiron zu greifen, oder ob der kaum schlechtere Sony zum halben Preis nicht das bessere Allround-Paket ist.
Alle anderen genannten Konkurrenten folgen auf den Pltzen, machen aber alles andere als eine schlechte Figur. Ihr Klang ist trotz ihrer teilweise strker komprimierenden Codecs AAC (Bose) bzw. aptX (Lagoon) ebenfalls sehr gut bis hervorragend (zumindest fr “normale” Ohren, die die im Vergleich mit aptX-HD und LDAC strkere Kompression nur geringfgig bis gar nicht wahrnehmen). Besonders hervorzuheben ist dabei der Soundcore Q35, der fr weniger als 100 Euro Straenpreis bereits LDAC, ein gutes ANC und einen Transparenzmodus bietet. Er mag in allen Disziplinen etwa eine Schulnote schlechter als der Sony sein, aber wenn man bedenkt, dass er im Vergleich zum Sony nur ein Drittel kostet, ist das schon eine hervorragende Leistung, so dass er schlicht der Preis-/Leistungsverhltnis-Sieger ist und sich fr alle eignet, die aus einem schmalen Budget das Maximum herausholen wollen.
Eher zufllig entspricht meine persnliche Rangfolge dem Preisgefge der Kopfhrer. Das ist aber auch eine gute Nachricht: “You get what you pay for”, knnte man sagen, was aber wiederum nicht heit, dass man fr das doppelte oder dreifache Geld einen doppelt oder dreimal so guten Kopfhrer bekommt. Wie im Audio-Bereich blich, zahlt man fr die letzten 10-20% der Klanggte einen exponentiell wachsenden Aufpreis. Und es liegt auch daran, welche Kriterien man favorisiert. Meine hchste Prioritt ist Klangqualitt, danach richtet sich meine Rangfolge aus. Setzt man aber z.B. P/L-Verhltnis an die Spitze, wre der Soundcore wohl der Sieger.
Den Sony WH-1000XM4 kann ich jedenfalls nahezu uneingeschrnkt empfehlen. “Nahezu” deshalb, weil Sony auf aptX inklusive seiner Variante aptX-LL verzichtet hat und sich der XM4 daher mglicherweise nicht so gut zum Videoschauen oder Gaming eignet. Wenn man damit leben kann, ist der Sony eine absolut “runde” Angelegenheit, mit der man sicher glcklich werden kann, und das zu einem zwar ambitionierten, aber durchaus fairen Preis.

Das habe ich bei anderen Kopfhrern schon besser gehrt, aber zugegebenermaen waren die auch in einer deutlich hheren Preisklasse angesiedelt, so dass das Jammern auf hohem Niveau ist.
Eine leicht “spaige” Grundabstimmung ist sicher nicht von der Hand zu weisen, vor allem die Tiefen sind recht deutlich betont. Aber das ist okay, da eine solche Abstimmung den Prferenzen der meisten Menschen entgegenkommt. “Dunkel” oder gar “dumpf”, wie manche meinen, finde ich den XM4 deswegen aber nicht. Und das sage ich als jemand, der mit dem “Beyerdynamic-Peak” (Hhenbetonung um 8 kHz herum) aufgewachsen ist. Aber egal: Wer meint, kann aber per Equalizer nachsteuern. Das Gute am XM4 ist, dass dieser dann trotzdem im LDAC-Modus bleibt (der Vorgnger XM3 fiel auf AAC oder gar SBC zurck).
Der Amiron sticht den Sony zwar klanglich noch aus (alles andere wre bei dem knapp doppelt so hohen Preis auch peinlich fr Beyerdynamic), aber viel Abstand ist da, ehrlich gesagt, nicht. Dem Sony fehlt jeweils ein Quntchen Detailauflsung, Rumlichkeit und Przision im Bass, um mit dem Amiron gleichziehen zu knnen. Das ist aber wieder Jammern auf hohem Niveau.
Das ANC des Sony ist jedenfalls Weltklasse! Wird die adaptive Geruschunterdrckung eingeschaltet, ist Ruhe im Bau. Ich meine zwar, ohne Musik noch ein minimales Rauschen wahrzunehmen, aber das kann genauso gut Einbildung oder mein eigenes Blut sein… Wirklich faszinierend! Die Geruschunterdrckung bekommt definitiv keiner der hier betrachteten Konkurrenten so gut hin.
Und dann dieser Transparenzmodus: Anfangs habe ich ihn als Spielerei abgetan, aber hey, dieses Feature ist schon ntzlich: Einfach die ganze Hand ber die rechte Ohrmuschel legen, und ohne groe Verzgerung wird der Musikpegel auf ein Minimum heruntergefahren und der Hrer macht alle Mikrofone auf, so dass man gut wahrnimmt, was “drauen” vor sich geht. Hand wieder weg, schon wird der Transparenzmodus wieder abgeschaltet und der Musikpegel wieder angehoben. Zustzlich aktiviert sich der Transparenzmodus auf Wunsch auch dann, wenn man anfngt zu sprechen (hierbei stoppt die Musik sogar ganz). Funktioniert wirklich berraschend gut. Okay, wer gern mitsingt, der schaltet diese Option besser ab (dann ist man wohl ohnehin allein und braucht sie auch nicht), aber ansonsten ist sie echt zu gebrauchen.
Die passende Sony-App namens “Headphones” erscheint anfangs etwas unbersichtlich, das gibt sich aber schnell. Funktionieren tut sie jedenfalls tadellos (zumindest bei mir auf einem Samsung Galaxy A52 5G mit Android 11).
Die Ohrmuscheln lassen sich drehen und einklappen, so dass ein hnlich kleines Packma wie bei den meisten anderen Kandidaten entsteht (der Amiron fllt hier aus der Reihe). Die Schatulle macht ebenfalls einen guten Eindruck, insbesondere sind Ladekabel, Klinkenkabel und Flugzeugadapter so intelligent integriert, dass sie nicht lose in der Box herumschwirren oder sonstwie im geschlossenen Zustand auf den Kopfhrer Druck ausben knnen.
So, nun zur Einordnung der Kopfhrer in eine persnliche Rangfolge:
Der Amiron bleibt klanglich mein Favorit (auch wenn er maximal aptX-HD untersttzt, das nominell “nur” etwa die halbe Bitrate von LDAC hat). Zudem verfgt er mit aptX-LL als Einziger ber einen nahezu latenzfreien Codec und eignet sich deswegen am besten fr Videos oder auch Gaming (vorausgesetzt, auch die Bluetooth-Quelle untersttzt aptX-LL).
Theoretisch eignen sich alle anderen Kandidaten fr Videos und Gaming weniger, da die von ihnen untersttzten Codecs (auch LDAC) eine deutlich hhere Latenz aufweisen. In der Praxis muss man einfach ausprobieren, ob die Verzgerung fr einen selbst ausreichend gering ist. Beim Sony XM4 stelle ich im LDAC-Modus (Netflix auf Smartphone) nur eine leichte Asynchronitt fest, die so gering ist, dass sie zumindest bei Videos nicht strt. Mit SBC- oder AAC-Codec, der wahrscheinlich beim Pairing mit den allermeisten Fernsehern zum Einsatz kme, kann es wieder ganz anders aussehen, das habe ich bislang nicht ausprobiert.
Dafr haben alle anderen Kandidaten ein kleineres Packma sowie ein mehr oder weniger gutes ANC, das in vielen Umgebungen schon sehr ntzlich ist (zumal auch die passive Abschottung des Amiron eher mau ist).
Gleich hinter dem Amiron kommt der Sony. Sein Klang ist ebenfalls hervorragend und nah dran am Amiron. Zudem verfgt er ber ein sehr wirksames ANC und weitere ntzliche Features. Manch ein Audiophiler wird sich jetzt fragen, ob es sich lohnt, fr das letzte Quntchen Klangqualitt zum Amiron zu greifen, oder ob der kaum schlechtere Sony zum halben Preis nicht das bessere Allround-Paket ist.
Alle anderen genannten Konkurrenten folgen auf den Pltzen, machen aber alles andere als eine schlechte Figur. Ihr Klang ist trotz ihrer teilweise strker komprimierenden Codecs AAC (Bose) bzw. aptX (Lagoon) ebenfalls sehr gut bis hervorragend (zumindest fr “normale” Ohren, die die im Vergleich mit aptX-HD und LDAC strkere Kompression nur geringfgig bis gar nicht wahrnehmen). Besonders hervorzuheben ist dabei der Soundcore Q35, der fr weniger als 100 Euro Straenpreis bereits LDAC, ein gutes ANC und einen Transparenzmodus bietet. Er mag in allen Disziplinen etwa eine Schulnote schlechter als der Sony sein, aber wenn man bedenkt, dass er im Vergleich zum Sony nur ein Drittel kostet, ist das schon eine hervorragende Leistung, so dass er schlicht der Preis-/Leistungsverhltnis-Sieger ist und sich fr alle eignet, die aus einem schmalen Budget das Maximum herausholen wollen.
Eher zufllig entspricht meine persnliche Rangfolge dem Preisgefge der Kopfhrer. Das ist aber auch eine gute Nachricht: “You get what you pay for”, knnte man sagen, was aber wiederum nicht heit, dass man fr das doppelte oder dreifache Geld einen doppelt oder dreimal so guten Kopfhrer bekommt. Wie im Audio-Bereich blich, zahlt man fr die letzten 10-20% der Klanggte einen exponentiell wachsenden Aufpreis. Und es liegt auch daran, welche Kriterien man favorisiert. Meine hchste Prioritt ist Klangqualitt, danach richtet sich meine Rangfolge aus. Setzt man aber z.B. P/L-Verhltnis an die Spitze, wre der Soundcore wohl der Sieger.
Den Sony WH-1000XM4 kann ich jedenfalls nahezu uneingeschrnkt empfehlen. “Nahezu” deshalb, weil Sony auf aptX inklusive seiner Variante aptX-LL verzichtet hat und sich der XM4 daher mglicherweise nicht so gut zum Videoschauen oder Gaming eignet. Wenn man damit leben kann, ist der Sony eine absolut “runde” Angelegenheit, mit der man sicher glcklich werden kann, und das zu einem zwar ambitionierten, aber durchaus fairen Preis.

Zum Telefonieren eignen die Kopfhrer (in Verbindung mit iPhone) auch sehr gut. Hier wrde ich dazu raten den Tranzparenzmodus zu aktivieren damit man selbst die eigene Stimme besser war nimmt.
Mein gegenber hat mir besttigt dass die Stimmqualitt sehr gut sei.

Falls mal der Akku alle sein sollte kann man die Kopfhrer auch sehr gut nur ber Kabel betreiben und trotzdem noch eine sehr gute Klangqualitt genieen nur eben ohne EQ Einstellung.
Man kann die Kopfhrer zudem mit mehreren Gerten koppeln, jedoch nur jeweils 2 aktiv verbunden haben.
Der Wechsel zwischen den verbundenen Gerten 2 aktiven Gerten funktioniert gut. Man muss am Gert 1 die Wiedergabe anhalten, dann auf Gert 2 die Wiedergabe starten und die Kopfhrer wechseln dann selbstndig von Gert 1 zu Gert 2.
Whlt man nun auf Gert 3 die Kopfhrer aus wird jenes Gert welches am lngsten nicht mehr Benutzt wurde durch Gert 3 ersetzt.

Noise cancelling isn’t quite as all encompassing as I was hoping for but isn’t unpleasant either, I haven’t experienced any problems with ‘ear suck’ that some users have mentioned and the headphones do manage to cancel the worst of external noise. However, I do found myself resorting to playing white noise more often than I would like.
The sound quality is excellent. Zero complaints here.
The headphones are reasonably comfortable to wear. Some users have complained that the fit feels a bit ‘clamped’. I would agree, however this sensation doesn’t bother me, so not a problem from my point of view.
Synthetic leather is used as the contact material. I would have preferred actual leather as the synthetic material gets a bit sweaty.
The app works well, no complaints here.
The various ‘touch’ controls (tap the right headphone twice for example to pause) work well.
I bought these headphones in preference to the Bose option because of concerns from many reviewers about the bose app and other aspects of the bose software. Sony have done their work well here and I’m never annoyed by the software experience.
I’m overall pleased with the headphones but believe they are somewhat over-priced and would definitely have preferred leather to be used on the ear-cups rather than synthetic leather.

Sony non si smentisce mai e tira sempre fuori da cappello prodotti degni di tutte le 5 stelle possibili, tralasciando il chip Active Noise Canceling (o annullamento del disturbo/rumore) che sappiamo gi tutti essere il migliore sul mercato, e fidatevi se vi dico che indossare queste cuffie accese anche senza musica gi come smettere di essere su questo pianeta, i rumori molto forti vengono percepiti come rumori lontani mentre il resto sparisce completamente e, con un minimo filo di musica, sparisce anche tutto il resto rimane solo la musica!
Per il resto cuffie comodissime, materiali di costruzione di ottima qualit, molto piacevoli al tatto e molto leggere, quasi da dimenticare di averle addosso.
Qualit del suono tutto su un altro livello, gi appena tirate fuori dalla confezione, senza equalizzazione, hanno alti cristallini e bassi pazzeschi, e se vi divertirete a giocherellare un po’ con l’equazzatore che trovate nell’app Sony Headphones, queste cuffie faranno miracoli! A questo punto tutti diranno, certo saranno cuffie Bluetooth fantastiche ma non possono reggere il confronto con delle cuffie con cavo… Eh no piccoli amici, proprio qui che vi sbagliate, Sony implementa il sistema di codifica LDAC che in grado di trasferire la musica alle vostre orecchie in una qualit che va, vi assicuro, oltre le vostre aspettative, e se proprio non vi basta, sony implementa anche l’utilizzo da spente con il cavo cos da mettere a tacere anche le ultime vocine scontente.
Riguardo le gesture touch delle cuffie ho una nota un filo amara ovvero, seppur molto utili ed estremamente intuitive ogni tanto non prendono bene il controllo volume che, personalmente avrei preferito non strisciare il dito pi volte per alzare il volume ma, piuttosto, che in base all’altezza a cui fermavi il dito corrispondeva ad un certo volume, ma comunque niente di grave, facendoci l’abitudine capirete come usarle bene.
Ultima nota ma assolutamente non per importanza, anzi, parliamo della Modalit Ambient, una comodissima gesture touch che prevede di coprire con il palmo della mano l’orecchio destro, in questo modo le cuffie capiranno che volete interagire con l’esterno e abbasseranno al minimo la musica e al posto di cancellare l’esterno lo amplificheranno cos che possiate sentire anche i granelli di sabbia che cadono dalle scarpe di quello che abita davanti a casa vostra! No dai scherzo comunque fa davvero comodo come modalit e la uso tantissimo anche perch il chipset delle cuffie riconosce in particolare la voce umana quindi la amplifica in modo da farvi capire bene quello he dicono le persone intorno a voi! Detto questo doveva essere l’ultima cosa ma ne aggiungo un’altra : Batteria infinita, davvero, a meno che non ne facciate un uso spropositato, 30+ ore di autonomia sono un’eternit, dimenticatevi che sia un dispositivo a batteria e godetevi la musica, una volta scariche in pochissimo sono cariche di nuovo e si torna in pista!! Questo, mi dispiace per altre marche, ma un altro campo in cui Sony non ha paragoni!

(Piccolo Aggiornamento) Scusate dimenticavo una cosa molto molto importante, ovvero, queste sono cuffie da MUSICA, non pensate di vederci Film o Serie TV, purtroppo la codifica LDAC per la musica fa miracoli ma un tallone d’Achille per serie TV e film dato che inevitabilmente far arrivare in ritardo l’audio rispetto al video e avrete circa un secondo di differenza tra ci che guardate e ci che sentite, ripeto, queste sono cuffie per ascoltare Musica e Musica soltanto!

(Piccolo Aggiornamento) Scusate dimenticavo una cosa molto molto importante, ovvero, queste sono cuffie da MUSICA, non pensate di vederci Film o Serie TV, purtroppo la codifica LDAC per la musica fa miracoli ma un tallone d’Achille per serie TV e film dato che inevitabilmente far arrivare in ritardo l’audio rispetto al video e avrete circa un secondo di differenza tra ci che guardate e ci che sentite, ripeto, queste sono cuffie per ascoltare Musica e Musica soltanto!

Was little hesitate before purchase as I also want to use it for zoom meeting. Surprisingly it works like charm. (Dont compare Bluetooth headsets mic quality with regular one)
