Lovely soup
I loved this soup maker But it broke down and was too expensive to return as we live in France. The breakdown was because I overloaded it. Too expensive to reorder so I bought a cheaper one from super market. it is ok but not half as good as the Soup Chef.

This soup make is absolutely amazing! you can make soup in about 20 minutes to whatever consistency you like. To make veg soup all you do is throw a 750g bag of mixed veg along with about 700ml of veg stock and set the soup maker going THAT EASY! and it’s delicious

Simple and quick, the soup maker for dummies
I don’t normally write reviews. However, on this occasion I have made an exception. I have been so impressed by this product I just had to comment. On the face of it, it would seam a little expensive maybe but once you have this product you will realise it’s money well spent. It’s very easy to use, comes with a host of recipes to get you started and is very quick to cook. The only thing is doesn’t do is completely cleans itself and gets back in the cupboard. Seriously if you like soups and stews this is a must have product. Buy it, you won’t regret it.

Easy to use with good features. Not the cheapest, but I’ve been very happy with product and have used it 2-3 times a week since purchase 3 months ago. This is my first soup maker so can’t comment on how compares with cheaper models. The smooth soup is velvety smooth and very fast 19 mins plus sautee time. Chunky takes 25 mins plus sautee time- what you put in is what you get out, so need to chop up smallish. I like the flexibility of being able to add coriander when the smooth carrot soup is cooked, put the lid back on and press smooth again to whizz up the herbs, to keep flavour. Makes just about enough to feed 2 hungry adults and 3 children.
The lid section is heavy, therefore can be a little awkward. I would also say that the keep warm facility is great, but as soon as you remove the lid, that function is switched off. It is just about possible to pour out smooth soup,with out removing lid, but the whole thing is very heavy, however I’d say impossible to pour out chunky soup without removing the lid and therefore stopping the keep warm function.
Used the auto clean a few times, but to be honest, I find more effective to clean by hand.

Versatile soup make
We have used this soup maker with a variety of ingredients, some from recipes and some from just throwing in whatever we felt like. It has made superb soup each time. It is sturdy, easy to operate and flexible in that you can choose whatever level of chunkiness/smoothness you want. We also like the Keep Warm function. I deliberately delayed giving feedback because we fairly recently bought another household name soup maker which failed after very few uses and we wanted to really put this to the test. The shaft and blade on the Soup Chef are very sturdy and it is an altogether better product. The main thing to watch out for is not to put too much washing up liquid in when you run the self-clean programme. The smallest squeeze you can manage is sufficient. We highly recommend it.

Souper soup Maker!
We are very pleased with this soup maker – the saute facility is really useful, and all soups have turned out really well. I did find that you have to chop celery quite small as the blades can’t deal with larger pieces, but that is not a great problem. I gave a 3 rating for cleaning – the soup maker has a clean itself option, but this is not overly efficient, and as the motor is attached to the bottom of the jug it is not possible to immerse the jug in water. However, I would really recommend this.

Love, love, love! This is as good as they say. Could not be happier. Haven’t used a soup maker before but had the main must-have features like saut recommended to me, and this had them all! Be careful not to use fatty meats as those can burn. Very easily cleaned. Definitely would recommend.

Purchased to enable us to get some very into it autistic son as he won’t normality East them. Made a pea soup first and it was really tasty. Have made loads since and none as yet a flop. It is so easy to clean, just top up with some water and then wipe around once clean function completed.

My friend recommended this item and I’m so glad I bought it. It makes great soup with the minimum amount of fuss and mess. The ‘saute’ capability is a great bonus.
Easy to use
Anyone can cut a few vegetables, add water and a stock cube then blitz to make a soup. This machine does it without me having to be present for the cooking and blitzing process. I load the veg add stock and set it off. I can now leave it totally alone and return 20 minutes later to a smooth ready to eat soup. I even make a batch of soup in the morning whilst I shower and then transfer the soup to a flask and take it to work for lunch. So easy.

This little machine does all the graft. It makes perfect soups in literally 20 mins. I’ve followed a few recipes but generally just throw in leftover veg and out comes soup. The saut feature is genius. Def recommend those to everyone well worth a buy

By far the best soup maker I’ve had. The large capacity kettle allows for generous quantities of soup to be made. All metal interior cleans easily. The saute function is really useful too
I have now made a number of different soups. They have been easy and tasted delicious. The reason I have knocked one star off is that cleaning after a creamy soup like Stilton and Broccoli was rather difficult. The “autoclean” function whilst working well on things like vegetable soup, creamy one’s leave a deposit that need a clean by hand. Not being able to use anything abrasive makes it more time consuming. Also even though I put in the smallest drop of washing up liquid it foamed out through the spout and onto the work surface. I tried a stainless steel cleaning spray and that seemd to work better. Maybe the manufacturer could suggest a suitable cleaner.

I love the saute button it gets the veg and the onion ready to make delicious soups. I’ve had soup makers in the past and ingredients have always stuck to the bottom which made it difficult to clean. I used the auto clean which did an exellent job. I love this product.

This is the kitchen gadget I didn’t know I needed! Having piping hot, nutritious homemade soup in 19 minutes is amazing, and the lack of washing up is even better! This soup maker is great, easy to use and easy to clean, and comes with a good number of recipes to try.
My only criticism is that some things can get burnt when using the chunky setting. To stop this I open the soup maker and stir the contents every 5-10 minutes when making a chunky soup. Still far less effort than making soup without this machine, but it would be good if this issue were addressed.
Makes lovely soups easily
This is so good we’re having soup everyday! I can make smooth, easily digested vegetable soups that cause no stomach pain and although I bought a recipe book (which is great) I am creating my own leftover soups with no complaints! Very happy!
After a few months the control lid was jumping up during grinding but I was sent a new replacement. I’m happy.

The free app for recipes is just great even through you can make up your own. however the Parsnip and ginger soup is absolutely gorgeous !!
So quick so easy
I’ve had soup makers before but so far this one is the best.Put the ingredients you like and in 25 minutes you have soup chunky or smooth.The saute funtion is useful bt the function that does it for me is smooth+ Sometimes you don’t want chunky or smooth but somewhere inbetween then use this mode.

I’m 3 soups in and all is good in the world of soup making with this machine. Followed recipes so far – Mushroom, Chorizo, Leek & Potato. All pretty delish thank you. Easy to use, easy to clean. Hopefully many more bowls to come once I get the hang of just chucking my own ingredients in there.

Fabulous soup maker. Love the keep warm element of the maker. Very easy to clean as long as you slightly oil the base before putting the food into it to avoid anything sticking to the bottom. We have now made several batches of different soups and it’s all very quickly made within About 30 minutes. Very happy with the soup maker and would recommend this particular one as l searched for a soup maker and the reviews were excellent and l am very pleased l bought this particular one.

This is a heavy item for anyone who has hand and wrist problems.it does make good soup. however cleaning is awkward as it is heavy to lift to empty substantial item well made .

Absolutely love my new soup maker – always thought why on earth would anyone need a soup maker – just use a saucepan but I am truly a convert as it really does make it easier as it blends it so smoothly and easy to pour out just like a kettle – great produc
Pretty easy to use but much noisier than my previous soup maker. A bit more fussy than it needs to be I think. Can’t stop a setting once running if you change your mind or make a mistake. Makes lovely soup though. So I guess I just need to get used to this new one
Definitely a great buy. I have used it quite a few times since getting it and each time the end result has been the same – excellent soup, no sticking/burning. The base has a non stick coating which is great, but I still add a little olive oil every time and I like to use the Sautee function to start with. I have had no problems so far making different kinds of soups and have found it to be the quickest, best and easiest to clean soup maker I’ve had. I have tried a few different brands previously which were quite problematic e.g. often cutting out, burnt coating at the base of the jug by the time the soup is ready, then difficult to clean, and basically just ceasing to work after a short time of use. I would certainly recommend this classy looking soup maker.
This product is absolutely fabulous. Its a great machine that’s easy to use and makes the most amazing soup in absolutely no time at all. After have three of one the other well known soup machines which never seemed to last more than about 12 months but that I was too scared to diversify from I’m pleased to say that I eventually took the plunge. It’s powerful, quick and very efficient, capable of making delicious soups in record time with absolutely no skill whatsoever so five stars all day long.

If you like soups you will love this product. Even if you have never made soups in the past you will now you just prepare all the ingredients first, and you can saut the onions etc first then add all the ingredients put the lid on and the soup is ready in 19 minutes!

We’d seen this on one of those shopping channels on TV. The soups they made looked so good we decided to buy one and give it ago.
Most days at work both me and my wife have a soup for lunch – either from a caf or a tin of soup blasted in the microwave. The soups aren’t always brilliant and tend to be loaded with salt (not ideal as I have high blood pressure).
Both of us are becoming more conscious of what we eat and knowing what goes in to our food is very important to us.
After reviewing the recipe book (which comes in the box) and other recipes on the manufacturers website we decided to have a go at making a roasted butternut squash soup. OMG, the smell of the pancetta whilst being sauted in the soup maker was amazing! We literally threw in all the other ingredients, put the lid on, selected the ‘smooth soup’ setting, pressed start and let the machine do the rest. For this recipe a timer came on for 19 minutes which we think can increase to 26 minutes for other types of soups – more go’s will confirm this. You hear the soup begin to simmer/boil and then with about 7-8 minutes to go you here the soup makers blade whizz around blending the contents of the pot. It does this a few more times before finishing and going straight to a ‘keep warm’ mode.
The soup was so smooth and tasted as good as any we have had in many a good restaurant.
Cleaning was just as easy. A wipe of the pot to remove any remaining soup, add a drop of washing up liquid, some warm water, replace the lid and select ‘auto clean’ – simple as that. The only reason why we haven’t scored it a 5 is because we need to use it a few more times before we can make that decision. For now though it looks great in the kitchen and we feel like we have got good value for our investment. Would highly recommend especially with dark night on the way!
