Not my first soup maker so I speak from experience when I say “YES!!” saut facility, can add your herbs at the last minute, really stunning soup – just Chuck everything in and enjoy! It even comes with a free recipe app!

This soup maker definitely passed all my expectations and more.
Easy to use and delicious healthy homemade soup in less than half an hour. Now I’m making recipes i would never have even thought about trying before. I do not like peppers but i decided to try the Sweet Potato and Pepper soup from the recipes that came with the maker and it was delicious and the whole family loved it. Now they are demanding soup all the time !!
You literally saute if needed and drop in the ingredients and stock, switch it on and hey presto all done in less than half and hour while you get on with other things. I will never labour over the cooker with a Pot of soup again !!!! Every soup I have made so far had been a huge success !!

his is the second soup make I have had. this one has a saute feature and is a must have in my opinion and well worth the extra money. you do not need to fry off your onions, garlic or whatever the recipe may ask but it can all be done in this soup maker. I use it far more that I thought I would as it’s so easy. It comes with a small recipe book but there are loads of recipes on line easy to access. would recommend this item. There is a self clean programme built in but it’s easy to clean anyway

This is a very effective soup maker and is easy to clean. However, the keep warm function is not particular good and next time I would buy the model without this function as it is considerably cheaper.

This soup maker is brilliant. Although I have a recipe book you can just make soup up from scratch with any left overs. It is a case of trial and error. Soups are made quickly and you can choose whether smooth or chunky. We bulk make and store in freezer. Wouldn’t be without it.
Good product but poor packaging
Delighted with product but very disappointed with packaging. Arrived in a sturdy cardboard box but no internal packaging showing product. As this was a gift this was very disappointing. Promised recipe book was a card saying that we could down load recipes from net.
Best kitchen gadget I ever for busy soup lovers
I am always sceptical about product reviews and some things one has to try and test to see if they really work. This soup maker is so straight forward to use and clean and every single soup I made so far turned out beautiful and silky. I use it nonstop, even making curries and stews. Sauting option is very useful and you can control the time (make sure that there is enough liquid to prevent burning/sticking). Now I can have a delicious soup ready in 19min and my kitchen would not get hot or smelly from cooking. Great for fruit compote, quick deserts and for making pts. After my Ninja air fryer, Soup Chef is the next best kitchen gadget that I use on daily basis and has definitely improved my family healthy eating habits

Lovely soup
Makes delicious soup. Sorry for not not buying sooner. Would recommend. The lid is awkward to put down once removed and the soup maker cannot be carried by the handle as the bottom falls to the floor. Great to use otherwise.
Super soupmaker!
I previously had a soupmaker from a very well known brand but it stopped working so I chose this as a replacement, at much less cost.
This is so much better in so many respects:-

It’s very simple to use ….you simply select smooth or chunky and the machine takes care of it. With my previous one I had to press additional buttons to periodically stir or blend.

Will never buy tinned or packet soups agai
It’s great..I make my own recipes but only very small gripe is on the smooth setting the kettle beeps when it is about to blend then even during bleep it starts blending and it surprises and with noise, it’s a very small gripe for an otherwise great product.

Good soup maker.
I have used this a lot since I bought it, it makes excellent soup very quickly, I like that you can saut the onions and garlic in it before adding the main ingredients.
The auto clean works well, it makes washing it out much easier as the auto clean has removed most of the residue.
It is easy to use and it makes nice soup, once made it has a keep warm feature for an hour after you have made it.
It seems well made and everything works as it should.

This is THE BEST item I’ve ever bought! And that is NO Exaggeration! I’d heard of friends buying these over the years (different brands of course) and I always thought, what’s all the fuss, if you’re going to make your own soup, just do it in a pan – how wrong was I?
I stumbled across this make on Amazon, had never heard of it but was sick of having other more well known brands “pushed on me” from other websites – so I read the reviews, studied the manufacturers website etc & thought why not? Anyway it arrived, on the Friday (it was supposed to come with a Drew & Cole recipe book) which had been missed – but after contacting the seller – they were great and sent me one. While I waited, I downloaded the App with recipes on and Saturday night we had Home made Mushroom Soup! Oh my gosh!!! It was fantastic! I will never buy a tin of soup again! OK I know a tin is easier, but why would you when the taste of the soup in this, is fantastic and easy to make Well done Drew & Cole – you are by far the BEST brand on the market and I’ve been raving to all my friends to buy one

I love this product, previously always made my soup in a pressure cooker. Wish I had bought a soup maker years ago, this is so much better. Easy to use and quick. Made chunky potato and leek soup and ended up eating 2 bowls it was so good. Can’t wait to try out other soups.

Just got this a couple of days ago and made two soups using recipe app – one smooth and one chunky. Both wonderful and looking forward to trying more. Unit itself is easy to use and easy to clean. Be warned that the noise it makes when blending is very loud but thankfully it’s only a few short blending cycles!

A nice gadget to have
If you are a soup fan then this is great – everyone should eat more soup !!. It cooks, blends and maintains the heat. I got the version with the “fry” option, but I feel that the base gets too hot too quickly and your onions (or whatever) can burn quickly and that will make it hard to clean, so you need to keep a close eye on it if using that option. Overall it is good for the price and there are recipe options on the app. It could also make baby food. It is only noisy when it comes to blending, but as I just walk away and let it do its thing, that doesn’t bother me.

I had looked at other makes and found the difference in this one you can stop and open if you have forgotten an ingredient also the blade is very strong, did read other famous make the blade not very good. Beautiful soup in 19mins and so easy to clean would recommend this item..

Unfortunately my Soup Maker arrived without any instructions on how to use the machine and no recipe book.
I had to ring my daughter who recommended the machine to me and she photocopied her instructions
I then went online to find suitable recipes that I could use in the Soup Maker. I have now made various batches of soup and am really pleased with the Soup Maker.

his has been a game changer….so pleased I bought a soupmaker with saut function, having had a soupmaker for a few years without it. Having the saut function makes soupmaking much easier. After 25 minutes you have a nice bowl of soup. Very pleased and very easy to use.

I had always rather dismissed the idea of a soup maker, thinking that a couple of pans and a liquidiser would do the job just as well. And of course they can – but this is so convenient with the result I am using it almost every day. I was won over when my daughter-in-law bought one – and now my daughter has one too. Three very satisfied customers.
A little loud
when its on smooth it gives no warning and it makes me jump as its noisy when it starts off but otherwise really pleased with it. Beetroot soup is amazing!

Very pleased with this product. I wasn’t convinced that a separate device purely to make soup was needed – changed my mind. Find I am now making soup 3 or 4 times more often because it is so easy.

The soup shaft is brilliant, but the book that was to come with was a card with 2 recipe.

Soup maker extremely easy to use and I would definitely recommend it as i already have to family members and friends As most recipes ask for certain ingredients to be sauteed first, this machine has this function incorporated in the handle so no need for extra pans. The only slight down side is the loud noise the machine makes when it is blending for a smooth soup. Thankfully does not go on for too long!

This is a very versatile piece of kitchen equipment, it has made some very fantastic soup. The only ‘cons’ is that it’s quite noisy, however this would not stop us from purchasing this brand/model again.

I found this slightly difficult to use at first particularly the saut process but I have since learned how to use it and now find it works well

Struggled to get it onto the setting I wanted, when done no problem, makes very good soup like the saut feature, it also cleans itself, but found it easy to wash by hand so not used this feature. Satisfied with it but not overly keen on the buttons to get the right setting.

Very happy with this soup maker. Gives me enough soup to last me for 4 days. Handy that it is all done in one pot, no using a hand blender or putting in a blender. Super easy to clean.

Good value for money. Works very well.
This is dead easy to use. 10 mins to chop some veg. 19 minutes to cook it. Serves 4-6 depending on portion size. Unlike other machines, this tends not to burn either. The ‘self clean’ only does 95% but then a wipe out finishes the job. Good machine. But them for my daughters too.

Brilliant is the word for this, delicious soups, one pot serves all. Extremely easy to use. Self cleaning. You would make a good decision to purchase this soup maker. I am very glad we did.
I bought this machine after using a friends more basic Morphy Richards soupmaker. Both machines worked well and I have made quite a few well received soups in both machines, which operate in virtually identical ways. So, are the extras worth the extra?
Share function is very convenient, except when you are dealing with large amounts, such as 500g of chopped celery or 350 g of ushrooms. When I use a separate pan, I usually rinse it into the soup maker with near-boiling water or stock.
I do not bother with autoclean, I find that wiping it around with a slice or two of bread, which is disposed of in an environmentally acceptable manner, followed by a wipe round with a detergent-loaded sponge and a thorough rinse and drain works well (I do hate to see a good soup go for waste).
Pause function – rarely used, but essential when it is.
Keep warm – very usefull, you can prepare a soup well in advance, leaving you free to do other tasks, especially when entertaining.
So, I am very happy with my machine, and would buy it again, either for myself or as a gift, but if I already had the Morphy Richards, I probably would not bother to upgrade.

Love this . I make curry in it. Put in chopped veg of liking add jar of curry sauce for convenience. Put on chunky setting and in 25 mins ready. This has been the best soup maker ever that I have had. Others with blade in bottom are so hard to clean. I bought one for a friend .

Really good quality. Makes great soups, you just put the ingredients in and switch it on. Cooks most soups in 20-30 minutes. I use it most days as I live on soups. Easy to clean….just put in hot water and switch it on. Clean outside with a wet cloth. Not dishwasher compatible due to electrical parts.
I have used this every few days since I bought it. It delivers consistently good results and we have been trying out new recipes that have been exciting and different.
One minor “issue” (if it is even that) is that the top/lid has a handle, which suggests/implies that it can be used to lift or carry the entire unit. This is not so, as there is only a loose friction-fit between the lid and the base, so if you were to lift the unit by that upper handle, the bottom half would fall to the floor. Perhaps a design improvement would be to have the lid ‘lock’ to the body in some way when the top handle is in the upright position? Would make sense I think.
I have had great success with this device and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Happy to recommend this item, having used this many times it’s really quick and convenient to use . There’s only one thing of importance to note… don’t pick it up by the top handle , common sense really but worth remembering. Top handle is for removal of top section only and does not lock to main body, it’s definitely worth paying the extra for the saute function this model has as then you don’t need an extra pan to brown or soften veg.

An absolutely fantastic soup maker. I never thought I needed one of these and it would just lie gathering dust. I was so wrong! Had it nearly 2 weeks now and everyday it has been used. The saute function is excellent and you have fantastic tasting soup in just 19 mins. Prep takes longer than the actual cooking. Perfectly smooth soup haven’t used the chunky setting yet. A quick rinse out then put self clean mode on and generally it’s clean. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy another and delivery was super speedy as well. Just love i

I love soup and will consume all made in the Soup Chef in one sitting. However, one word of warning. Use the Soup Chef exactly within the limits given in its instruction book. The top of my first one exploded, I think because I used to much ingredients.

This amazing gadget arrived yesterday but the recipe book I ordered for it isn’t coming until tomorrow but it has an awesome recipe book with it! I’m not sure about the “Chilled Cherry” soup but I’m certainly going to make all of the rest.
The photo is of the Butternut Squash, Chilli & Coconut and it tastes devine! I mean really amazing.
The blade may look small but the soup is perfectly blended.
There’s even desserts in the recipe book.
It has a setting Smooth + which you can use for smoothies and milk shakes.
The saute function allows you to dry fry spices and fry onions etc.
The keep warn function stops it cooking but then it’s ready when you’re ready.
The auto clean function make it so easy as you only need to pour the water out, give it a wipe dry and it’s done.
Unlike the more expensive brand, it has a spout for easy pouring.
I’ve been very poorly recently and have struggled to actually fancy anything at all to eat – except soup really – but also not had the energy to stand there stirring it etc. This has totally solved all of my problems!
So grateful that I found this wonderful gadget and just know that we’ll be very happy together.

Only used it once so far but it was easy and worked well. Not great recipes in the book so googled a recipe to use.
I have never had a soup maker but became interested after speaking with someone who had one. I looked at several types but chose this one as I liked the features and it matched my new kitchen. It is also a good size. I bought it earlier this year and I have made soup at least twice a week since. The process is easy to follow and is very quick, the soup is just the right temperature to serve straight away – no waiting for it to cool, and the appliance is really easy to clean which I found a real bonus. If there is any downside I would have preferred a few more recipes in the book. I have also altered some of the recipes by removing or adding ingredients to make the soup more to my families taste. For example I found quite a few recipes used cornflour for thickening when I prefer to use raw sliced potatoes. Nevertheless a good overall soup maker I would be happy to recommend.
