I normally make soup in a pan but decided to treat myself to this. I’ve found it useful for left over roast chicken and when I end up with too many tomatoes or mushrooms etc. It cooks the soup really fast and I love the self clean button. It definitely cleans itself very well. The only 2 downsides are that it is heavy and the beeps it makes are so loud they’ll make you jump! I would still recommend it though.
This device takes so much of the fuss out of soup making. I didn’t get one for a long time as I felt that the traditional method was fine. It is, but the Soup Maker is just so easy to use.
Does what it says on the lid very easy very quick a bit noisy when smoothing but it is just in short spurts!

Bought one for winter soups, but it has been in constant use, it is so easy to use, put everything into it switch it on and leave. We grow tomatoes and have had a glut then freeze. Bag of frozen veg makes it very quickly and no hassle.
Saut onion and garlic while preparing other ingredients, chuck it all in and off it goes.
And the cleaning program does exactly that.

After searching through tons of reviews online all over, the pro chef soup maker by Drew and Co had such a reasonable price with the saute feature. My wife used it tonight and it was pretty good. I found myself enjoying it, even though I was not in the mood for soup! Lol She just took some fresh and frozen veg, sauteed some garlic, added water and a stockpot cube and some pre-cooked chicken strips. We had it chunky so it had a clear broth, and it was very tasty.
Easy to use, easy to clean, soup tastes amazing and is so healthy too, just vegetables and nothing else. Stops me buying lunch at work. It’s also very filling so hopefully I’ll lose some weight!
Bought this as a present for my daughter in law. She loves it and uses it a great deal . I’ve tasted some of the soup she made and it was delicious. She’s very impressed with how easy it is to clean. A great success as a present !

I’ve only used it once put it it did what it says on the tin I’ll certainly use it a lot more in the winter and will have to get into my recipes to get more flavour you get a shock when it starts mixing for the first time

I didn’t have much luck with the Morphy Richards one I previously had due to it burning the soups. My mum recommended trying this one and I was quite impressed. I can cook any kind soup in it without the worry of it burning. I like the added bonus feature of self cleaning. I giggle every time when my family are standing close to it when it’s in cleaning mode. It makes them jump every time lol.
You can choose to have a chunky soup or smooth soup, it comes with an online list of recipes and It has a self cleaning function too.

Never heard of a soup maker until yesterday. I can’t quite believe how it worked so well. It really is easy to clean massive bonus (not in the dishwasher). Large capacity definitely 4 good sized bowls. Rapid and quicker than 19 minutes. I have purchased another two today. Along with a book.

Easy to use and delicious healthy homemade soup in less than half an hour. Now I’m making recipes i would never have even thought about trying before. I do not like peppers but i decided to try the Sweet Potato and Pepper soup from the recipes that came with the maker and it was delicious and the whole family loved it. Now they are demanding soup all the time !!
You literally saute if needed and drop in the ingredients and stock, switch it on and hey presto all done in less than half and hour while you get on with other things. I will never labour over the cooker with a Pot of soup again !!!! Every soup I have made so far had been a huge success !!

This is a very effective soup maker and is easy to clean. However, the keep warm function is not particular good and next time I would buy the model without this function as it is considerably cheaper.
This soup maker is brilliant. Although I have a recipe book you can just make soup up from scratch with any left overs. It is a case of trial and error. Soups are made quickly and you can choose whether smooth or chunky. We bulk make and store in freezer. Wouldn’t be without it.
Delighted with product but very disappointed with packaging. Arrived in a sturdy cardboard box but no internal packaging showing product. As this was a gift this was very disappointing. Promised recipe book was a card saying that we could down load recipes from net.
I am always sceptical about product reviews and some things one has to try and test to see if they really work. This soup maker is so straight forward to use and clean and every single soup I made so far turned out beautiful and silky. I use it nonstop, even making curries and stews. Sauting option is very useful and you can control the time (make sure that there is enough liquid to prevent burning/sticking). Now I can have a delicious soup ready in 19min and my kitchen would not get hot or smelly from cooking. Great for fruit compote, quick deserts and for making pts. After my Ninja air fryer, Soup Chef is the next best kitchen gadget that I use on daily basis and has definitely improved my family healthy eating habits

Makes delicious soup. Sorry for not not buying sooner. Would recommend. The lid is awkward to put down once removed and the soup maker cannot be carried by the handle as the bottom falls to the floor. Great to use otherwise.
It’s great..I make my own recipes but only very small gripe is on the smooth setting the kettle beeps when it is about to blend then even during bleep it starts blending and it surprises and with noise, it’s a very small gripe for an otherwise great product.

I have used this a lot since I bought it, it makes excellent soup very quickly, I like that you can saut the onions and garlic in it before adding the main ingredients.
The auto clean works well, it makes washing it out much easier as the auto clean has removed most of the residue.
It is easy to use and it makes nice soup, once made it has a keep warm feature for an hour after you have made it.

I love this product, previously always made my soup in a pressure cooker. Wish I had bought a soup maker years ago, this is so much better. Easy to use and quick. Made chunky potato and leek soup and ended up eating 2 bowls it was so good. Can’t wait to try out other soups.
Just got this a couple of days ago and made two soups using recipe app – one smooth and one chunky. Both wonderful and looking forward to trying more. Unit itself is easy to use and easy to clean. Be warned that the noise it makes when blending is very loud but thankfully it’s only a few short blending cycles!

If you are a soup fan then this is great – everyone should eat more soup !!. It cooks, blends and maintains the heat. I got the version with the “fry” option, but I feel that the base gets too hot too quickly and your onions (or whatever) can burn quickly and that will make it hard to clean, so you need to keep a close eye on it if using that option. Overall it is good for the price and there are recipe options on the app. It could also make baby food. It is only noisy when it comes to blending, but as I just walk away and let it do its thing, that doesn’t bother me.

Got this to replace a Salter one that was a pain from day one, burnt out after six months.
I had looked at other makes and found the difference in this one you can stop and open if you have forgotten an ingredient also the blade is very strong, did read other famous make the blade not very good. Beautiful soup in 19mins and so easy to clean would recommend this item..

This is a great product, it will make soup smooth or chunky in around 20 minutes. Enough for 4 serving And is piping hot.

Unfortunately my Soup Maker arrived without any instructions on how to use the machine and no recipe book.
I had to ring my daughter who recommended the machine to me and she photocopied her instructions
I then went online to find suitable recipes that I could use in the Soup Maker. I have now made various batches of soup and am really pleased with the Soup Maker.

his has been a game changer….so pleased I bought a soupmaker with saut function, having had a soupmaker for a few years without it. Having the saut function makes soupmaking much easier. After 25 minutes you have a nice bowl of soup. Very pleased and very easy to use.

I had always rather dismissed the idea of a soup maker, thinking that a couple of pans and a liquidiser would do the job just as well. And of course they can – but this is so convenient with the result I am using it almost every day. I was won over when my daughter-in-law bought one – and now my daughter has one too. The soup shaft is brilliant, but the book that was to come with was a card with 2 recipe.

Very pleased with this product. I wasn’t convinced that a separate device purely to make soup was needed – changed my mind. Find I am now making soup 3 or 4 times more often because it is so easy.
Soup maker extremely easy to use and I would definitely recommend it as i already have to family members and friends As most recipes ask for certain ingredients to be sauteed first, this machine has this function incorporated in the handle so no need for extra pans. The only slight down side is the loud noise the machine makes when it is blending for a smooth soup. Thankfully does not go on for too long!

This is a very versatile piece of kitchen equipment, it has made some very fantastic soup. The only ‘cons’ is that it’s quite noisy, however this would not stop us from purchasing this brand/model again.
I found this slightly difficult to use at first particularly the saut process but I have since learned how to use it and now find it works well
Struggled to get it onto the setting I wanted, when done no problem, makes very good soup like the saut feature, it also cleans itself, but found it easy to wash by hand so not used this feature. Satisfied with it but not overly keen on the buttons to get the right setting.
I am thrilled with my soup maker. I use it several times a week. Unfortunately you still have to wash it by hand which I find very frustrating.

Easy to use, easy to clean and produces excellent smooth or chunky soup
This is dead easy to use. 10 mins to chop some veg. 19 minutes to cook it. Serves 4-6 depending on portion size. Unlike other machines, this tends not to burn either. The ‘self clean’ only does 95% but then a wipe out finishes the job. Good machine. But them for my daughters too.
Bought this to replace my old soup maker and I’m very happy where I had to fry onions to get the taste now I can saut in the maker and no need for frying pan.
