Tasty soup in a jiffy
This makes beautiful soup in no time at all. 20 mins for silky smooth soup poured straight from the jug. Produces 4 generous servings. What a saving in electricity too, crucial in my decision making.
I’ve always made soup the old fashioned way, some friends of mine told me how quick and easy, a soup maker is. I chose this soup maker, as it has a saute button, meaning less washing up after. On the downside, it’s not that easy to clean, and even though it has a keep warm button, it only does keep it warm. The first batch, we used it straight from the jug, the next batch, I decided to leave it an hour or so, but it was only warm, so needed reheating in a pan.

It is very noisy when it starts to pure the soup but I think whatever one you buy it would be the same.

I normally make soup in a pan but decided to treat myself to this. I’ve found it useful for left over roast chicken and when I end up with too many tomatoes or mushrooms etc. It cooks the soup really fast and I love the self clean button. It definitely cleans itself very well. The only 2 downsides are that it is heavy and the beeps it makes are so loud they’ll make you jump! I would still recommend it though.

Bought one for winter soups, but it has been in constant use, it is so easy to use, put everything into it switch it on and leave. We grow tomatoes and have had a glut then freeze. Bag of frozen veg makes it very quickly and no hassle.
Saut onion and garlic while preparing other ingredients, chuck it all in and off it goes.
And the cleaning program does exactly that.

After searching through tons of reviews online all over, the pro chef soup maker by Drew and Co had such a reasonable price with the saute feature. My wife used it tonight and it was pretty good. I found myself enjoying it, even though I was not in the mood for soup! Lol She just took some fresh and frozen veg, sauteed some garlic, added water and a stockpot cube and some pre-cooked chicken strips. We had it chunky so it had a clear broth, and it was very tasty.

Easy to use, easy to clean, soup tastes amazing and is so healthy too, just vegetables and nothing else. Stops me buying lunch at work. It’s also very filling so hopefully I’ll lose some weight!

I didn’t have much luck with the Morphy Richards one I previously had due to it burning the soups. My mum recommended trying this one and I was quite impressed. I can cook any kind soup in it without the worry of it burning. I like the added bonus feature of self cleaning. I giggle every time when my family are standing close to it when it’s in cleaning mode. It makes them jump every time lol.
