Brilliant oven saves me loads of money the grill feature is fantastic. Comes with rotisserie but you can only fit in a tiny bird without it catc
hing on the top of the oven. Shame on that bit but apart from that its a great buy.
Wonderful ove
The tefel oven is fantastic we use it almost everyday the rotisserie is not so good you need a very small chicken but it still cooks quickly and tastes good wish I brought it a long time ago .
This airfryer oven makes a good addition to the kitchen. Almost anything that can be cooked in an oven or grill can be cooked in this. The only limitation is size. With the rotisserie you can cook a 1.2kg chicken max size. The instructions are easy to follow and have a few recipes included to get you started.
You can also go to their website for a few recipe downloads.
Love it so fa
I really like cooking in the this air fryer which much quicker and less dish washing efforts needs
This is witchcraft!
Amazing buy for the kitchen. No pre heating required and shorter cooking time. Great and tonight cooked a whole chicken with the rotisserie. Perfect. Much easier to clean as well.
All in all, what a very pleasant surprise.
Tefal could do better on the recipes side but straightforward to programme.
If you don’t have one I would recommend i
9 in1 Air Fry
I thought I’d try an air fryer as I’ve heard so much about them, I am very pleased with it, it does everything so I don’t have to use my oven anymore.
cleaning this product after use, chips, meat, ect.
Cleaning this item after cooking – not compatible with cleaning products to remove cooking residue
Life change
Easy to use and very easy to clean noticed a difference in electric bill already, cuts cooking time and food like chicken lovely and crispy
Still getting used to i
Still getting to grips with this. I have used it a few times as air fryer and very good. The outside doesnt get very hot and this size is perfect for a couple. Havent tried the grill or many of the other functions yet. Easy to clean.
Scanned the qr code and the instructions are in a foreign language hence the four star review. That is the only bad thing that can be said about this airfryer it is truly amazing, there is plenty of room inside to cook more than one meal at once., it’s also very easy to clean. Overall I’m very happy with this produc
Great price and quality
Great machine. Appears to cook well. Only time will tell. Fantastic price, well packed. Arrived early (48hrs)
with normal delivery. Fits just right on kitchen unit. Smells a bit on 1st start-up but soon disappeared. Will reccommend.
Top class product!
I had been dithering for a while about buying this, but finally took the plunge, and I’m glad I did. It is so versatile and handy, that I rarely use the main oven now.
Even basic food like sausages taste so much better in an air fryer.
Very happy with my air fryer. Did steak on the griddle and finished on the hob for a few minutes. Absolutely perfect. This is the second of this type I have bought but it surpasses my previous one. The inside is a more sensible shape as are the shelves. Very happy. Would thoroughly recommend.
This is a great litte air fryer. Makes short work of what I use it for. Although one thing I noticed was that food on the top shelf will cook quicker than the lower shelf due to the hot air coming from the top of the fryer.
One other thing I have noticed is that if you are cooking something that might drip, you want to put paper down when you pull the shelves out as the shelves are designed to allow the hot air to flow through. So the oil/fat will drip all over your counter tops if you’re not careful.
Once you get the hang of this, which is pretty quickly as its simple to use, it will change your life for the better. Food is cooked quickly with less mess and its more economical. Made some really tasty things in it so far and always makes food very tender. Not used my oven in months and really have no desire to. Definately worth the money
It is easy to clean and use but at first there is a lot of trial and ERROR
A decent guide would be helpful
Friends who have other makes of air-fryer have much better guidance
I Rutte
For the last 2 years we have tried a variety of air fryers they were either too noisy, poor control, dull lighting, impractical for cleaning. But this one ticks all the boxes. Fast, efficient, quiet, great results and big enough for a family of 3. With a steam function that’s great for vegetables, fruit and puddings. Tefal have certainly got this one right.
Having purchased a ninja foodie but could not get on with it I thought I would try this oven. Between searching for it and ordering the price dropped by 30 so at 159 I was impressed with pricing. The oven is very easy to use and this morning I tried cooking cheese rolls, it only took 10 mins to cook them and the pastry was very light when they were cooked. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone. Value for money.
I put off buying an airfryer as I did not believe you could get crispy food without a deep fat fryer. I was wrong. Chips, pizza, meat, even vegetables – this thing handles them all! My favourite is the rotisserie function which you can use for beautifully crisp chicken (just as nice as from the chip shop) or any other joint that you can fit.
As others have mentioned, the instructions are terrible – they consist of a very thin leaflet consisting of pictures which do not give a clear indication of anything. They clearly sell these all over the world and have sought to create a universal guide but, in my opinion, have failed. Fortunately there are plenty of guides online and to be honest the machine is very intuitive so you can pretty much figure it out yourself.
The only thing I didn’t understand was how to use the rotisserie at first – the stick goes through the meat and you then have to fiddle with the two supplied forks to lock the meat in place. On my first attempt the chicken did a very lazy rotation where it would kind of stay relatively flat then suddenly do a quick spin around. However after a few minutes it started turning more evenly and I think it’s because the chicken I used (1.2kg) was slightly too large and I had not aligned the forks properly. Regardless, the included photo is of that first attempt. I assure it tasted divine! Would recommend, I use it every day and have bought one for a friend.
Easy to use, makes great little pizzas an calzones, rotisserie is ace for crispy duck or small chicken. Wings come out nice and it’s heck of a lot cheaper running than cooking on our oven according to our smart meter so nifty.
I picked up a tiny roasting tray in morrisons perfectly sits on the floor of the airfryer and is perfect drip tray/veg baster and roasting tray for little bits.
Only had it about a month so far so no idea on longevity, easy to clean though which is nice.
It grills meat very well, value for money
I like that it takes few minutes to make a meal
Great machine, cooking smaller meals for one or two is great. For bigger meals example roast dinner not a chance that’s for the main oven.
It’s easy to use, trail and error at first, it does cook slightly quicker than a conventional oven example: hash brown 15-18mins at 200 degrees on packaging, air fryer function, 10-12 at 170 degrees. Fish fingers taste great on the grill function again around 10mins.
Like I said at the beginning, great for smaller and basic foods for the kids.
It’s one drawer which is quite big, which comes
With a divider for the middle, only used a few times and a griddle to lift the food of the bottom of the tray.
The worst parts, getting the griddle in or out of the drawer it’s a pain a very tight fit, they don’t give much room to get your fingers under the griddle to pull out.
The other issue is the drawer handle very uncomfortable for the hand and wrist, especially when you heavy weight in the compartment.
The handle is very cheaply designed and basic, not much thought went in for the design, I would say not user friendly only because it’s uncomfortable no grip, that’s what I think.
Cleaning the compartment has to many holes around the plastic front which holds small amount of water, so will always be dripping out of the handle area, unless you have an air compressor near by to blow the small amount of water out, or leave it out to air dry.
It’s a good machine for the cooking and easy to use.
Very good.
Really is quite good! Cooks evenly compared to other tray type air fryers we’ve tried. Too small for the average chicken though. Would recommend, easy to use.
We already had an Airfryer, but not big enough so only used for chips and still had to use the oven. This 3in1 airfryer was bought to allow us to use the 4kw oven a lot less and hopefully save electricity as it is under half the wattage at 1700w (1.7kw).
It cooks quicker and I think more efficiently. Our weekend ‘grilled breakfast’ of Middle back Bacon, tomato and sausage was cooked in 15mins in grill mode at 180dec, previously 23 minutes under the normal grill and still not as well cooked at 220dec, okay, electric grill instructions say cook at 275dec!!! think of the fuel saving. Jacket potatoes, still experimenting, but so far, 6 min in microwave and 8mins Airfryer, normal electric oven 1hour plus!
Must admit we also have a stand-alone steamer, so we can steam the veg for weekend dinners in the stand-alone and cooked the ‘meat/fish’ in the airfryer.
As TEFAL do not have a very good instruction manual, a search on ‘the net’ and suggestions on a dedicated group on Facebook have helped, but it is a matter of relearning how to cook, or should I say you have to adapt your recipes and cooking style.
A few anomalies though, in airfryer mode, you can pull the tray out to shake or check the contents, the machine goes into ‘hold’ timer mode, but I noticed that in ‘Grill’, if you pull the tray out to check on cooking the timer restarts at 4mins which was the heat up time I had ‘dialled’ in, a bit annoying, but you only get caught out once, hopefully.
My partner says that the vegetables steamed in this Airfryer taste better than when cooked in the stand-alone steamer. We also note that there is not much water residue in the bottom tray, so steam is not recirculated as in the stand-alone.
Yes we would recommend this product, but! it is a big beast, so make sure you measure where you will put it in the kitchen.
The images show the 3in1 and the ducting I put together to redirect the steam to the cooker hood so it would prevent the area under the cupboards and the tiles would not become saturated with condensation.
I’ve always been a late adopter to most new fads, and yet again with the air fryer! I couldn’t escape the hype on TV/Radio and social media, and I recently deep cleaned my oven which I deeply resented on maybe the last warm and sunny day of year! When I make a home purchase, I tend to go to the top end of the market, as buy cheap buy twice mantra, but those brands sold out nationwide with never ending waiting lists and this brand popped up on recommendations from Amazon. Tefal is a brand I know and trust, and it’s a good looking appliance, larger than I really need, but I like to batch cook, so I took the plunge, and this model is not available widely. I am now one of those people who profess the benefits of the air fryer! I’ve used it everyday since purchase. Like most reviews state, it’s short on instructions, but easy to navigate and cook to your own preferences. Of course I tested with shop bought oven chips, which came out way better than an oven cook, and of course, quicker. Experimented with home made chips, a whole chicken, it accommodates 2.2Kg with ease, a meat thermometer is recommended for peace of mind, and tummy. My model is the 6.5L, I think a lot of the reviews are a mixture of all the Tefal Air Fryers available on Amazon. It runs quietly, so not sure how others say it’s noisy, and it’s easy to clean.
I would have given it all round 5 stars bar a few of nit picking issues.
It doesn’t have a power on/off button; once it’s switched on from the mains, it powers on, a minor irritant, to have to reach behind the unit all the time, but maybe that’s for safety(?) It also seems impossible to cancel any cooking time without moving the countdown to 0, and when you’re checking on food, it pauses the cook, but the timer is still counting down. I also wish when setting a manual cook, the temp and time counters moved ascending as opposed to descending, if you’re not concentrating, you have a hotter and longer cook as the max setting is pre set, especially if you want to pre heat. Finally the grill plate is difficult to place in and remove, as it has recessed dips at the sides which are not easy to get to or to handle. All in all, I’m happy with cooking quality, the look, a nice flush facade, its quiet and a 2 year guarantee. I look forward to using it, and it’s revived my home cooking skills and enthusiasm, especially as most of our meals are eaten at home presently, as going out is a little out of reach for most of us at present.
Would have given 5 stars but for the tinted glass door even with the light on it’s hard to see in. The rotisserie stops you from using that shelf when not in use the design could have been bette
So we’ve been using this air fryer for several months now and it’s lived up to all expectations.
Having done the research in advance, this unit is large enough to cope with a family of six or four with good appetite!
Cooking is quick, very quick and generally within 15-20 minutes, your meals are done.
Chips are crisp and delicious.
We’ve not yet cooked chicken but like the rotary unity.. Chicken breasts are perfect.
Cleaning is very easy but then we’re not cooking fatty foods.
Pizza’s come out great.
Greatest benefit is time saved and cost savings based in energy use, absolutely fantastic when compared to a conventional oven.
Steaks, fish and bacon we would still recommend conventional grilling, or pan frying.
Otherwise, one of, if not, our best buy this year!
A must have in every home, particularly with all its features and settings.
Finally, while more expensive than most it is worth spending a little more, if your budget can stretch to it, and remember, you’ll get it back in the energy you save.
Enjoy!!
This is the second Tefal air fryer I’ve bought recently and we love it. I also use the Easyfry Precision+ 2 in 1 which is also brilliant so encouraged me to stick with the Tefal brand. I bought this as well because it’s bigger and capable of cooking much more at a time and also has many more functions. We don’t use our main oven anymore as this literally cooks almost anything we’ve needed. As you can see from the picture you can use 3 racks at once but for best results I’d advise to swap the racks every so often for even cooking. It’s so much cheaper and quicker than using a conventional fan oven. The quality is as good as I expected, the drop down door is removable for easy cleaning and the drip tray is very handy. Cleaning the grill tray and wire racks is very easy using a dish brush and hot soapy water. The only negative point I can think of is the non stick coating on the grill rack seems quite thin. We noticed ours had become scratched in places but I think someone had stored it with the wire racks sat on top of it which has caused the coating to scratch off in places but that’s user error (I blame the Mrs 😉 We’re very happy with this purchase and will continue to use it daily
Been seeing Air Fryers for a long time now but never really had a need to buy one. However, the escalating cost of gas and electricity puts a whole new spin on this. Was staying with my cousin who had one so got to see the numerous ways it can be used. Came home and ordered one right away. Knew for sure I didn’t want the one with a pull out draw so was very happy to find this one and being Tefal a company I know and trust. I am absolutely delighted with it and will be having a little rotisserie chicken again for dinner today. Can’t list all I have used it for but trust me just buy it, you won’t regret it.
The purchase of the year for us
Looks great, cleans easily, inside and out, shelves go in dish washer. Decided against the more enclosed type with drawers… A really good decision and worth the extra dosh. Have cooked loads of stuff and used oven once in 3 weeks, there’s only 2 of us. We cannot praise this little darling thing enough. We’re saving about one third of the time cooking, therefore money. It’ll pay off in under a year… And we’re finding all our food and recipes delicious.
No cook book, but plenty on line. Instruction leaflet crappy.
Air frye
This is fantastic, no heating up like the oven , abit faster than the oven with some things others very quickly done , a different way of cooking and is better you can cook so many things in it , cheaper to run and healthier, great product, highly recommend.
Easy to use
EASILY THE BRST ITEM I’VE BOUGHT THIS YEAR!
VERY WUICK TO COOD
LOVELY MOIST FOOD
EVEN MAKE INGREDIENTS ON TOAST SO CRISPY AND TASTY!!!!
LOVE IT!!!!
Fantastic should have bought it soone
I liked the size the option for doing so many different things especially the rotisserie chicke
Well worth the purchase
This is a great air fryer and it does an amazing rotisserie chicken. I’ve done bacon, sausages, steak, and burgers so far and it’s all been lovely. Lots of taste and alot more juices than I thought you would get from an air fryer..also with the separate racks you can practically do a whole cooked breakfast in it…
It cooks really well, quick and leaves flavour in the food. Only negative is the instruction manual, it’s absolute rubbish, totally useless. Have to figure out how to use it yourself! Fortunately the internet helps but only for other fryers.
What a fabulous product. Managed to find a 1.22Kg chicken earlier today in Tesco – nothing special – the chicken cost just 3.08. Small chickens are not stocked everywhere, so it’s probably best to buy a few and freeze them, when you find them, and if you have the freezer space. We used a third of a packet of chicken shwarma spice mix and made a paste with some olive oil, smeared it over the dry chicken and left it – covered – to marinate in the ‘fridge for a couple of hours.
Within minutes of the Tefal 9 in 1 EasyFry Air Fryer oven being delivered we’d threaded the rotisserie spike through the cavity and tighten the prongs in potition. We didn’t bother to pre-heat the oven – we just selected the chicken programme and it immediately showed 200 degrees C – and 60 minutes. Press ‘Start’ and then one more button press to activate the rotisserie moto. It reached 200 very quickly.
An hour later the chicken was lifted out using the appropriate tool. What a beautiful sight: a succulent crispy-skinned roast/rotisserie chicken!
We cut the chicken in half, and each devoured our portion. Literally jaw-droppingly good, and a real revelation:
The. Perfect. Chicken.
All polished off – with every scrap of chicken gnawed off the bones – so good, and such good value!
Our Tefal oven cost us 189, just before the price went up. Buy one – you won’t regret it!
