The camera works when it is needed. The I/ R picture at night is superb.
I have purchased two of the Oscar cameras and can say without doubt that the picture, day and night are superb. Having just one power lead is a added bonus, and setting up is so easy.

The Time 2 camera system is amazing I own both the Oscar external cctv and the Olivia internal cams both give clear images in daytime and at night we have metal halide (white light) streetlighting so the view is colour throughout the night. installation of the clan software is straightforward but if you have any issues the Support via e-mail is first class I have used this to great effect if you are in the market for a top class smartphone monitored system you cannot go wrong with Time 2.

Set up wireless in the garage, ordered a 128GB SD card and installed in the camera. Downloaded the Time2 App, tested camera before fixing to outside wall, all ok. Installed, tested, all good. Great camera, easy to set up, well pleased.
Good produc
Wanted a camera on front of house, that doesn’t sent alarms everytime a cat, fox and car lights come in view! It has sound detection, but left it off as far too much noise in my area. Picture is good, easy to turn camera angle and hopefully no attacks from magpies as they damaged my old one.

It was simple to fit and the basic set up is easy. However, I would like to see an improved manual as I found the fine tuning so it recorded just as I wanted a bit more difficult. One recommendation is that any purchaser subscribe to the cloud storage facility. On the whole I am happy to recommend this product.

Had mine for 4 years and has now given up. I have replaced with another one the same as I found value for money is very good. Recommended to a friend who lives on her own. She loves it and watches it on her phone all day lol.
The Oscars were all easy to set up and the tech support from Adam was excellent. I purchased this Oscar3 camera for security in my back garden. It was very simple to fix on a brick wall and the setting up was very easy. The daytime picture quality is as good as any I’ve seen. Nightime pictures are fabulous as I have a 60ft long garden and amazing as it sounds the camera shows the full garden albeit in black and white. I have previously purchased a different camera from another company which I had to return because the WiFi wouldn’t connect. This Oscar camera is approx. 30 foot+ from the router and 2 rooms with brick walls yet the WiFi connects seamlessly and so far has not dropped out once. If you want a good wireless camera with no frills that works fine this is the one. I am a very satisfied customer and intend to buy more of the same.

Fell off the wall
The joint between the camera and the base (mount) kept coming apart and the camera fell off a number of times. I ended mending it with a thick roll of sellotape, pending replacement of the whole unit.
Drilled a hole, fed cable through and Bob’s your Uncle all working. Have two of these front and back. Clear night vision, quickly alerts you for motion. All fine. No probs.

Easy to set up. Great picture quality both in day and night with sound if required. Good field of view but may need more than one camera if wanting to capture back garden and patio by back doors. I made a template for drilling the holes – shame a sticky one isn’t included but no problem. Overall very happy with these.

excellent camera
This camera is really good, ive got a blink and a kamtron and whilst the app isn’t the most intuitive compared to the others its technically very good with much flexibility on recording and motion detection. had concerns it wouldn’t cover where i needed when on the wall but has a wide field of vision which is very clear. Support were also very fast and helpful. very easy to install and i used with the extension cable you can also buy.
Better than more expensive brands
Great quality, night and day. Would definitely recommend over more expensive brands. 128gb gives you nearly 3 weeks of footage.

I am so pleased I read all the reviews, for the price it’s incredible. Took a while to set up as I’m not very ‘techy’ had to get my son to do most of it, (I’m 70) feel quite happy now, I can see who is coming up my pathway, I’m a tad disabled….and I can watch my hedgehog pigging out on the mealworm!

Great camera and peace of mind
I needed a camera to back up the alarm system I had purchased separately, having looked at professionally installed systems their price and ongoing service charges were prohibitive.
These cameras claimed to to do a lot of things and I have to admit I was sceptical of some of the claims, but decided to give them a go, after all, peoples reviews are very subjective and depend to some extent on what their expectations are.
I purchased 3 cameras, my initial impression was pretty neutral as far as build quality was concerned, I needn’t have had concerns, they are mounted outdoors and have withstood some absolutely appalling weather conditions.
Set up was comparatively easy, I had to do some DIY to get a power supply where I wanted to mount it but there is an extension cable that can be purchased if you dont mind a long cable run.
Connecting to the wifi was straight forward and there are plenty of options for set up and saving video footage as well as cloud storage.
Video storage runs from midnight to midnight, you can review it at any time of the day but unless you are saving it to the cloud once you have gone past midnight you cannot review the previous days video, although any alerts you have received can be saved as stills for as long as you like.
The image quality is really good and you can zoom in & out on both live feed, recorded feed and stills.
On the matter of alerts, there are three settings, Low, Medium & High, there is some difference between the settings but not a huge amount, the aletrs get sent to your smartphone via the app and the time stamp on the still allows you to review the video from that time frame, but you have to search for it manually using a slide bar with the hours of the day/night marked in 10 minute increments, you can usually get to within a minute or two of where you want to be viewing, not a massive issue in my opinion.
the range of the motion detection is a question that is often asked, my perception of this function is this, if the camera can “see it” you will get an alert, the camera that the pictures are from easily detect the car in distance moving and its a good 25 metres away.
You can set the alerts to motion, or sound activation, or both but you will find yourself constantly checking the cameras as you will get A LOT if you go down that route.
The microphone is very sensitive and can pick up A LOT but the quality can distort if the noise is close and loud.
Our dog responds to the camera’s speaker if I call her name through it, she can figure out where its coming from as I watch her on the live feed but she is obviously confused that she cant see me 🙂
So would I recommend these cameras ? yes definately, Ive had them running for 5 months now and they have performed faultlessly.
Quality CCTV Camera
Very easy to set up and has quality HD picture motion detection alert is fantastic and only detects humans which is great and gives an almost instantaneous notification when someone enters the detection zone the customer service / tech support is brilliant all in all i highly recommend buying the only cons i can find so far is camera position adjustment is a little slack but it hasn’t actually moved since installing so might be just me.

Great value for money CCTV camera for home. This is the second Oscar camera I’ve owned. This more recent one has 1080p resolution, which makes a clear difference. As you can see from the photo (which was taken on our very dark driveway – can barely see the cars are there with the naked eye) night vision is excellent. The companion ‘Clan’ app has had some recent improvements too, and generally works well. Remember to buy a micro SD card if you want the camera to be able to store and play back a the last few days’ of footage. I found a 128Gb one on Amazon Prime for ~15. This is a more cost effective solution than fitting a ‘Ring’ doorbell camera (for example) and paying them a monthly subscription, as the Time2 camera is subs-free (unless you wish to use their cloud storage, which seems unnecessary if you’ve fitted a memory card). This camera also allows 2-way voice comms, but the way, albeit with a ~1s latency. Gives optional motion or sound detection-based notifications to phone too, which can be helpful.
The only minor niggles would be:
1) The 3 supplied fitting screws are incredibly fragile and the heads are very easily rounded off. I used alternative screws (for both of the cameras I have owned).
2) It is very difficult to choose a precise playback time of day through the app if you wish to go back to (say) 01:27am the previous night. You’ll be lucky to home in on it to the nearest 5 minutes, which makes for some wasted time as you wait to review specific events. Perhaps this will be picked up and addressed in the future?
3) Pairing the camera to the companion app through display and read of a QR code on the smartphone took a little practice. Try holding the phone screen a little farther away from the camera than indicated in the instructions (i.e. over 300mm away) to get it to work.
All in all, great value, great image quality and give peace of mind. Just put it up and forget about it.
