L’ho acquistata per effettuare l’upgrade della memoria ram del mio IMac fine 2013, appesantito nel tempo da sistemi operativi e programmi sempre pi pesanti. Ho portato la macchina da 8gb di ram a 16gb ottenendo un notevole incremento della velocit di esecuzione dei programmi. Consiglio.
Montati su Mac mini late 2012 (mod 6,1) portandolo a 16 GB. Dopo l’aggiornamento a Catalina era diventato lentissimo, ma adesso con l’aumento di RAM e un drive SSD vola meglio che da nuovo.

Il ont t install dans un MacBook Pro 2012 pour quadrupler sa capacit d’origine passant de 4Go 16 Go qui le maximum sur ce modle.
Si vous n’est pas un professionnel comme moi. N’hsite pas faire appel un pro pour leur installation car ce ncessite quelque connaissant si vous ne possder pas les bons outillages ou si une difficult est rencontrer.
Recommande un Kit iFixit pour le dmontage.

Put these in my Mid 2012 13″ MacBook Pro. I know Apple says only 8GB, but this same chipset is in a Mac Mini they say you can put 16GB in, so hey presto, it takes this 16GB upgrade a treat! Definitely helps with Logic Pro X and other heavy RAM apps.
Was a bit dubious about upgrading the ram on my MacBook myself but the instructions that were accessed assisted and made process easy. Prompt service, good value, items as described.

Works really well, took an old iMac and made it feel new again. I actually would not mind getting another set for more RAM. If you are running 8g Ram on an older iMac get a set of these and your Mac will run much better.
After installing my computer would not start up, reinstalled the original ram. Dead computer, also external drives not working. Eventually worked out trip switch had been triggered. Now everything ok. I’m sure this has nothing to do with the product. The extra memory works.

Installed this pair of RAM sticks in an old iMac late 2013, alongside a 1TB SSD. Made the iMac run like never before, it is now more akin to a 2017/18 system.
Installation isn’t for the faint hearted, as you need to know what you are doing when it comes to opening up and dismantling a thin edge iMac. But I think it improves the system and moves it on to a different level.
Only other upgrade I could have undertaken would have been to install an NVME drive, but the SSD was a better and more economic upgrade to my mind.
Would definitely recommend this RAM for anyone thinking of upgrading a similar Mac or a MacBook Pro.

It was very easy to install, and has made my MacBook Pro much better than I ever expected. I have been able to upgrade the OS also swapped out the original hard drive for an SSD it’s a new machine now I can save to buy a new computer in 2024 as the Ram upgrade has made a significant difference to my current laptops performance.

Gave three stars for ease of fitting but that has nothing to do with the RAM as that clips in the same as any other laptop type RAM. The issue is with Apple as you have to VERY CAREFULLY remove the seal between the screen and the case, very carefully remove the cables from the screen attached to the system board and then pretty much take everything out (and that means unscrewing and manoeuvring everything), turning the system board upside down to get at the RAM slots. Then reverse the whole thing! Not so bad if like me you’ve upgrading the drive at the same time but a real faff to just get at the RAM (some later models have an access hatch).
Value for money depends on how much it costs at the time because RAM prices go up and down like a yo-yo! Of course, no ideal how long it will last but hopefully now for as long as Apple allow me to use it.

It was easy to fit doubled my Ram so 10/10 so far.
Its been a couple of weeks, and I haver unit through a number of tests, looking for leaks etc. Seems fine, currently working well.

Bought these RAM modules as at of an upgrade of my mid 2012 MacBook pro. These are super easy to install and have helped revitalise my MB, which was getting crazily slow. Also upgraded the HDD to SSD and is now running like brand new with the higher RAM.

After doing some research on this memory, it was reported and found to work in other manufactures laptops and computers, hence my purchase for my Lenovo ideacentre. As long as you follow the specs as in DDR3 CL11 1600, 1.35-1.5volts you’re good to go ! So you’re maybe wondering why I purchased 2X8GIGS of memory made for MAC ? Well its a least 4 cheaper for the same memory, ‘thats not made for MAC’, ‘maybe some sort of marketing ploy’ The I’m made for MAC thing,. If anything I would of thought it would of been the other way around as in the MAC memory would of been more expensive,. The memory works great and is of good speed and steady voltages, I got this memory along with a 2nd hand Intel i74910MQ CPU, The improvement is superb and going from a i54200M with 8GIG of ram has made a massive improvement from a 2013 product, along with my Samsung 1TB SSD I reckon this upgrade will last me at least another 7 years, So only 60 for the memory and 100 for the CPU, a cheap way to keep things up to date on my now very fast ‘general use’ computer.
Absolutely turbo charged my 2012 Mac, Mac advise 8Gb of ram, but I went 16 and have been using the computer constantly for a few weeks with very strenuas tasks. Mixed with the SSD upgrade this is blindingly brilliant. It’s like a brand new computer, and is leaving my friends newer model in the dust.

I have a 2012 Apple lap top, needed to up grade from 4GB to something realistic for todays software. read some reviews, checked compatibility with my model of laptop, ordered 16GB , it arrived quickly, and whilst supper was warming, I installed the units as per You Tube instruction, it quickly installed with no problem, in fact, it is more time consuming to remove the bottom of said laptop for access, the laptop now has a new leash of life.
This ram was excellent value and absolutely boosted the performance of my iMac.
Both cards arrive within a day, well packaged , and undamaged. So easy to install, just unplug from the back of the Mac, this reveals a push in button above the socket, push this in and the panel above pops off, lift the two tabs either side of the compartment, insert/ take out and replace other cards, push the RAM cards in firmly till you hear a click, push down on the tabs, and refit the panel, re connect the power lead, switch on and away you go, went from 16 to 32 RAM in under five minuets.
If you have like I do a late 2015 iMac, and you look under about this mac and it will say you need the 1600Mhz cards, some providers will tell you you need the 1867Mhz cards, either will do BUT if you have the 1600Mhz cards fitted you CANNOT put in the 1867Mhz as well, you need all the cards to be the same frequancy, you cannot mix and match. Luckily I was directed correctly or it could have been an expensive mistake.
I will defiantly use Timetec again.
I’ve had a mac mini server for several years with a large storage capacity which holds all my music and films. But I rarely used it because it was so slow. It came with 4gb of RAM which is woefully inadequate. Finally I had had enough of waiting 10 minutes for it to boot and constantly looking at the spinning wheel whenever i clicked on a application. I’m not overly tech savvy, so bit a bit of online research and spoke to a few people and all suggested in the first instance to upgrade the RAM. This machine takes 16gb RAM maximum and working on the assumption that one brand is as good as another, I looked around for the best priced 16gb upgrade. The TimeTec appeared to fit the bill at just over 60 for 2 x 8gb sticks. It arrived next day and following advice, I wore rubber surgical gloves to handle, remove and install the new RAM which was a very easy process. Then I switched on. BINGO! The Mac now runs as it should. Fully loads in less than 1 minute and loads applications without delay. Wish I had done it years ago. So in short, this memory seems to do the trick. Thank you Timetec!
